This will be an AU fiction I was inspired to write this. What if Thomas wasn't the one to die in his haunted home? What if two beautiful women that had saved him were vampires? And after many years, still mourning Edith's death (cause she died fighting his crazy sister) he found her again? Thomas and OC... Chapter 6 is up!

The title is very explicit! Beware readers 'cause this is a little dark story (all the movie topics: incest, violence, abuse, madness, sex, death), definitely angst. One day, when Edith is old and frail and feels as weak as she did when she was 23 and poisoned, she gets up from her chair and leaves the ache behind. Her cheek bleeds again, her feet are cold and damp and the collar around her neck restricts her breathing. Allerdale Hall emerges in front of her, heaving and breathing and sinking into the blood red clay.

To her relief, Edith finds Thomas alive. Barely, but alive. While she doesn't want him dead, if he wants to keep her in his life, he will have to work for it. And she knows exactly what he needs to do: Lay the ghosts to rest. (This is completely unrelated to So Far the Reach of Fate.))

Thomas wakes up on the floor, hurt but alive. Alone in the world, he flees to a city far away from anything he knows where he can leave it all behind: his dead sister, all the years as her creature, the wife who can't possibly have any love left for him. Finally, he tears his gaze from the past. The future is quick to take over from there.

There are nights she still cries for Thomas. Set after the events of Crimson Peak, Edith still clings to the ghost of Thomas Sharpe. Please read and review!
