As Goku's memories started to coming back, the Sanzo party decided to go to Kougaiji for help. By taking the device that allows them to go back to 500 years ago from Nii, the party is going to see once and for all what Goku's past holds.

A post battle bonding moment between Gojyo and Goku. Probably a bit out of character. Repeated mentions of blood.

Unable to remember his past and sentenced to prison for a crime he didn't commit, Sanzo has all but given up hope. Luckily, destiny has other plans. With the help of a monkey, a cockroach, and a mass murderer, he might just have a chance at escape. He should have known his spiritual awakening was hiding in the back of a jail cell. Gojyo/Hakkai. Hakkai wishes he could have absolute faith in Gojyo this time, just like he always has before. Gojyo has always been his rock, someone he can depend on without fail, but when the time comes for him to repay everything Gojyo's done for him, will he have the strength for it?

A series of errands Hakkai and Gojyo run for Sanzo during the three years between when they first meet and when Saiyuki begins, the obstacles they face, including learning to live with each other and understanding the bond between them.
