Near the end of his life, Denethor visits Ithilien to be with his family. His family does not know of his imminent arrival and is taken by surprise. Just as they are by the news he brings with him. Afterward, he goes to rest and remembers how the War of the Ring ended after he remembered Faramir's advise. It allows him to free himself from Sauron's hold over him.

As war threatens Rohan, Éomer and Kiernan must do their part to protect the land and people they love most. But changing times lead to a changing land, and neither knows how they fit in anymore.
