When Daine stops sending reports, it's a race to try and find her. When they finally do, the information she has to report turns peace into war, bring the dead back to haunt the living. She soon realises she needs the whole story... if only to work out why Daine and Numair's room is filled with tons of moving cotton, and why Numair is so insistent that the whole thing is Daine's fault. He has twenty four hours to explain what's stopping him from going further, or he has to stop touching her altogether. Daine and Numair are sent to spy on two warring factions of bandits in a land of secrets, where even the Gift can fail. When the bandits start a civil war, they must choose whether to fight one another or betray their true allegiance. D/N. COMPLETE!

Daine and Numair travel across Tortall with a group of players to investigating rumours of a coup in the remote mountains. Their simple plan is destroyed when they reach Fort Salydis and find that the mysterious Lady will only trade information for dangerous tricks… and the more deadly, the better. D/N

Sequel to 'Asylum'. You cannot forget your past when your crimes return to haunt you. A treaty following the gruesome battle of the borders turns sour when the Gallan ambassadors demand that two murderous fugitives, Daine and Numair, are brought to justice by the Tortallan court.
