Deployed to patrol the Turian Fringe Systems the HNV Invictus is badly damaged and is forced to blind-jump with a damaged FTL drive, it's crew survives the ordeal, landing on Humanities doorstep the crew is rescued and the Invictus is scuttled, Humanity learning of the Hierarchy moves to put its best foot forward by bringing their wayward sons and daughters home. If the laws of the Universe can be broken to make some of us, players, end up in the Mass Effect universe, what else could they do? A silly one-shot with me meeting myself from different Self-insert timelines during the raid of Eden Prime.

The Collectors have been dealt with, Shepard's run back to her precious Alliance, and I finally managed to foist off the Director's position onto someone else. After far too many years at war, it's finally time to relax a little before the Reapers show up... or it would be if Miranda Lawson hadn't tracked us down to help her in dealing with yet another crisis. The fun never ends.

Esme Ryder, the Pathfinder, goes to Kadara to meet with a Resistance contact and is introduced to Reyes Vidal, a charming smuggler and trouble. To Reyes, Esme lives up to her reputation as no-nonsense and wisecracking. Both are intrigued. These two flirt like no tomorrow but feelings grow between them that neither wants to stop. *M for eventual sexual content and some violence*

When Kaidan gets a message in the middle of the night from Anderson, he never could have anticipated how his world would turn upside down. Can he and Shepard get back what they lost. Maybe more. Will upload new chapter once a week (if possible) on Thursday's.

"Curiosity Killed The Cat" is a common phrase paired with Chyler Hale. Though in this case "Curiosity" happens to be none other than humanity's golden boy Matthew Shepard, who has a little more rust than shine. They fight together to defeat an ancient enemy, if they don't end up killing each other beforehand. The Mass Effect trilogy with my own personal twist.
