The following is the product of my speculation about how Eli would consume blood brought home to her by Håkan, as evidently occurred before she met Oskar in the novel.

This story is an effort to present Eli's bedtime thoughts/inner dialogue during the days from when she first meets Oskar, until they are seen leaving Blackeberg on the train at the end and thereafter.

Readers of the novel may recognize the situation, but with a different character. This is based in part on a true story, but the version here would never have been possible without the character and situations created by John Ajvide Lindqvist. God Jul!
