With the Vipers now openly rebelling against Advent, XCOM's fight against Advent seems to have gained momentum. However, as new shadows rise to break the will of the resistance, the Commander himself now finds it difficult to maintain his high confidence and will. With a growing sense of self doubt, can the Commander fight not only Advent, but also to keep his humanity?

X-Com has always been a diverse organization. It has been in existence for a long time and there are secrets within secrets hidden from everyone. I started writing this back in 1999 but it fizzled. Here we go again. There will be spoilers from lots of old X-Com games as well as the newer ones and references to my works. This is a fanfiction, I own no rights to any X-Com title.

The Elders rule over the Human and Viper races through the powerful Advent forces, which support their regime. It seems that the only way to achieve freedom is for the two races to fight together against their shared enemy. But, is such a union even possible, when there is so much bloodshed between them? Can anyone unite their races, and overcome the hatred both feel for the other?

Australia has been annexed, the United Nations is in chaos, the world is under siege and the Ethereals have taken the field. Facing the full might of the Ethereal Collective, the Commander must rally XCOM, the newly formed ADVENT, and several other allies and rivals to unite the divided nations by any means necessary, for failure now will mean the fall of humanity once and for all.

A Viper is taken down and taken captive by a team including Sniper Corporal 'Zero' on a mission to destroy an Advent radio transmitter. After Dr. Tygan refuses to experiment on a live subject, everyone, the Commander included, is unsure of what to do with their new hostage.

Vanessa McKenzie lost everything due to the aliens, but now she's back to command what's left of XCOM and she's going to whatever she can to get back some semblance of her former life. Heavy XCOM 2 spoilers, some alternative story sections. M for language, adult situations, violence.

He was meant to be their weapon, they were supposed to be his enemy, but he has a habit of not following anyone's expectations. A rogue viper becomes his new friend, and things start changing drastically from there, maybe things will change even further?

Field Commander "Eagle-Eye" left XCOM many years ago, frustrated with many problems inside it. He joined the resistance and led his one man army against the aliens, but now that the situation has only grown worse, he may have to return to XCOM.

It's been 20 years since mankind surrendered to an Alien Invasion and the world is under a new regime. But not all accept their new overlords. After rescuing the Commander, the real war has begun.

XCOM attempts to recruit survivors of a retaliatory attack from ADVENT in preparation for the weeks to come. Among them is a young engineer named Erica who will become one of XCOM's first martyrs.

The Alien threat has arrived, and nobody is safe. Can Commander Grant save the world, or is it all for nothing?
