An FTL fanfic I wrote a while ago. Rated T just in case.

FTL: Eternal Winter is the continuation of the fan-created narrative FTL: New Eden. It follows Nathan and Bigby, two Zoltan brothers on a journey across the universe as a crushed civilisation fights around them.

The Rebellion is in full swing but not in the Federations favour. The Rebel fleet has unveiled its new flagship and it is pure devastation. One guilt ridden officer is put in command of an obsolete vessel with a newly graduated crew. Their mission to deliver information about the flagship to the last remaining Federation fleet. Can they make it? Will the get to the end?

A former human weapons operator of a Rebel heavy cruiser warship breaks out of a remote Federation prison station, two years after the decisive battle in which a single Federation Kestrel defeated the Rebel Flagship. With no home to return to and nowhere to hide, the operator is a rebel without a cause, and he can die as an escaped convict or find something else to work towards...

A relative calm has spread over the galaxy as the flames of war finally blow out. Humans stand at the top of the mountain, reaping the benefits of victors. However, peace is a luxury that is often taken for granted.

A Lanius is offered a position on a big federation cruiser. Too bad neither the crew nor he himself realize what potential danger he can be to the ones actually breathing.

In one daring move, the Rebel forces destroyed the Fourth Fleet, the most impressive war fleet of the Federation and killed a high ranking Senator. And now the Federation is fragmented. With Rebel's advancing on all sides it is up to a small ship, the Kestrel, to save the Federation from almost certain doom. This is there story.

As the Rebellion are consuming sectors left right and centre, the Federation can do nothing but watch and wait for their turn to be consumed, but with a last ditch attempt, perhaps that can be avioded

Captain Carl is a broken hearted captain and in bad shape. He accepted a suicide mission by Commodore Alzan to penetrate the Rebel's base. He enters an adventure that he will either survive or die. May contain harsh language.

FTL: Advanced Edition. Lt. Lana Borman knew that her mission was FUBAR from the very start, but never more so than when she was told that she would be taking a Lanius ship, with two Lanius crew-members to support her.

War is something thats not human exclusive; in a time before humans had the front stage in the galaxy, some things are simply better off not known.
