As initiation finishes, Tris begins a new chapter on her life - working as part of the Dauntless leadership. She has a new challenge that requires her to visit all the Factions to make them agree on a deal that could change the life of Chicago forever. 'Tobias moves quickly as he shuts the water off, his entire upper body getting drenched in the process, and he blankets a towel around Tris's body before crouching down next to her. It's Thanksgiving and Tris's family has gathered to celebrate. I explain it all in the authors note in the beginning, but basically teens 100 years before the events of divergent are kept alive in tubes and are told later to go to Chicago and live/ expand humanity back into the wastelands.
