The golden cub been waiting for what felt like forever inside of Pride Rock. Around an half-an-hour ago, he have send his bird friend to gather his old friends after giving him a specific description on them.

He wasn't sure how to react to this upending reunion. It's going to be extremely awkward and he would have to do a lot of explaining, but it's worth it. He couldn't keep in the shadow from his old friends since knowing them since early cubhood and it would be wrong.

The golden cub tapped down his paw boredly in Pride Rock. "Ugh! When would they come here already?!" the golden cub demands. "I'm so glad I manage to run into Kiara, Tiifu, Zuri while they were captured by jackals because atleast I didn't have to wait-"

Before the golden Prince could have ranted more, Kion heard voices outside and instantly stood up on his paws. "Finally!" he cried, running up and making way outside. As he made it outside, he try his best to come to a stop but yet the golden cub landed on an honey badger and landed him into the back.

Kion smiled at the one certain honey badger landed below him. Getting off of him, Kion helped him up, his smile still planted on his face. He wasn't sure how to feel. It had been so many months since he had last saw his friends, the ones who have supported him throughout small cubhood. He had knew them since around the times he was born, though it's a high shame that he didn't seen them for months.

"Bunga!" Kion shouted, wrapping his paws around him and nuzzling against him. Instantly, at smelling him he backed away and covered his nose. Despite him being his best weird friend, he had quite frankly always hate that smell, compared to Tiifu or Zuri who always have the best smell (especially Zuri) because he was growing something more for her. The other animals gazed at him confusingly. "It's me, guys, Kion."

"Kion?" the cheetah Fuli questioned, narrowing her eyes directly at the golden cub. He shake his head and got ready for a bunch of hugs. The group examined him closely and slowly.

"Kion!" they all cried, running up - even Fuli who never been an big in hugs and collapsed on Kion. Even being as strong as he was after being trained by the Outlanders, the golden cub was no matched to get out of this big embrace he was in. He felt himself squeezing by his old friends but yet none-the-less he was happy.

He can feel Huduma's eyes lock with awe at the group. Smiling softly, Kion turned and gazed at him. "Guys, we have much to talk about." the golden Prince managed to struggled himself out of their fierce grip on him. He had never been in a warm embrace like this before... beside when Kiara nuzzled him a few times, and Zuri that one or twice time, he have wanted to hug Tiifu for helping him back and being very supportive but it would have been very awkward. "First off, we this is Huduma, my... new friend." he cleared his throat for half-an-second. "I don't think I would have been able to come back here without him and an hyena I met in the Outlands that have leaded me to a certain distance where I ran into Kiara... and her friends being take by jackals."

"Wait, how was those six months?" Bunga questioned.

Kion closed his eyes for a half-an-second. He didn't want to have those six painful and dreadful months. He have hope to get a better life and forget that part of the cubhood. He cleared his throat with a lump forming in his throat. "I much rather not talk about that." said the golden Prince as he closed his eyes.

"Why? It can't be that ba-" Bunga states.

Seeing the pain on the Prince's face Fuli place a paw on his tail and cut him off. She gave the honey badger an harsh glare. "Shut your trap." Fuli snapped. "He have been through much."

"Yeah, Bunga, Fuli's right." Beshte agreed, sending Bunga an stern glare.

"But I can't believe you're back." Bunga states. He wanted to know how his old best friend had survived. It was just so ironic and kind of odd. They have thought he was dead for so many months but then he pops up just as they were recovering from Kion's 'death' which happened to be fake. "Atleast we can do all the games we wanted to when we were younger."

"Yeah." Kion agreed.

"So, Kion, mind explaing more?" Ono got things back on track.

Kion stood tall. "Oh right." he nodded slowly before continuing. "Now where was I?" he asked them.

"Kiara, Tiifu, Zuri got taken by jackals." Beshte reminded him.

"Oh right." Kion smiled softly. "Now, they have been taken by jackals and were about to get eaten by them. However, Huduma saw them and I sprung into action and save them by fighting the two jackals."

"Fighting two adults jackals?!" Fuli exclaimed, her green eyes widen at the golden Prince. She wasn't sure if she entirely believe Kion or if he is just joking. But then again while Kion may be a good liar, he has no reasons to lie.

"Yes now allow me to continued the story, I fought them off but didn't kill them because Huduma separated us with a big boulder that was happen to be near the edge. We were about to leave when Nuka, Zira's son, attacked us and we had to run. Tiifu had the injuried Zuri on her back, as Kiara and me ran. I tried to send a few strikes to Nuka. But knew I couldn't win, as strong as I might be so we had to escape."

"And you did." Ono concluded.

"Yeah and we rest into a small den. I wanted to tell them there but I choose not to just yet because I wanted to surprise them and felt like I had to gather my entire family up. I waited an few weeks to confront you guys and can't get past another minute."

"Yeah, it's nice to see you back, Kion." Beshte said, smiling brightly. Their friend from cubhood was back, none of them had been able to recover easily and have lost interest in all activities, even Fuli who is usually a runner have lost interest in that.

Kion allow a pain smile to come out. He noticed a certain dark tan cub blue eyes and his smile only brighten, as she quickly surried away. "Well, I'm still kind of injuried so I can't do games at the minute, 'bout to reconnect with the family. While we may be close, there is still many I wounds I have, especially with my father."

"It's okay, Kion, but tomorrow you're not getting off the hook." Fuli remarked dryly.

Kion nodded. "How did I last without you guys?" he asked playfully. "Anyways, got to go. Get ready for you guys to torture me further tomorrow."

"Also, if you get yourself captued again, suspect to get hurt." Fuli says. Kion laughed, he knew Fuli was like a sister to him, that sassy sister like Kiara but have a more serious tone and even sassy then his blood sister which is actually a surprise considering Kiara is very sassy.

"Alright bye guys." Kion said, his laughter dying down. "And I would keep that in mind, Fuli." he finished before running off into a certain direction.

"Bye Kion!" they all called, before going their separate ways, ready to go hime themselves.

Kion didn't went exactly home just yet; he have wanted to find Zuri who was spying on him. Despite her being his friend now, he wondered: Why was she watching him talk with his friends? He knows something to laugh at her for.

The golden Prince had finally found Zuri who was walking back to Pride Rock that were not far in the distance. "Zuri." he said using a soft tone and not wanting to get harsh with her or using the tone that he wouldn't usually use.

"Yeah, Kion?" Zuri asked in a seemingly nervous tone.

"Why were you spying on me?" Kion questioned, sending her a stare. At that, the dark tan cub blushed slightly and try to calm the heat in her face but yet she couldn't control it.

"Sorry, it's not what you think, your father wanted you home though," Zuri explained. "I knew where you were at so I came to tell you." she smiled sheepishly at that.

Kion sighed with irritation and frustration. He place his paw on his head and rubbed it with a roll-of-eyes. These new rules that Kion have to get use to is going to take a little while. He understands his parents slight overprotective behavior with him more then at Kiara in the moment. He have just came home and they didn't want him stolen from them again.

Also, he had a feeling they knew he was dangerous. Kiara may have told them everything and they most likely are trying to pull away the darkness side of him. Kion had much darkness and can be very dangerous, with the Outlander 'trainings' taught to him. He find it easier to grow a bond with his mother then his father. His father seems slightly cautious with him while Kiara and him almost spend time with each other all the time because she clearly wanted to help him.

"Oh," he cleared his throat. "I see." he bended his head down at the laat part.

Zuri have noticed this and wanted to know what happen to him. Most of the time, Kion is a strong cub and kept his strong side and never even cried or budge. When a decision is made Kion always carried it out. "What's wrong?" she asked placing her paw on him in an supporting way.

"I think... my father believes I am dangerous." Kion stammered. Zuri opened her mouth to say something to that but the golden cub was quick to cut her off. "I can understand why, though. I am dangerous and I have this side of me that cannot be control."

Zuri wanted to say something that can soo him. But she found herself unable to. She didn't want to spit lies at Kion, he is dangerous and have problems that can't be control, but that doesn't mean he isn't a good lion. "Kion, just because you have suffered that evil lioness's wrath doesn't mean that you're not a good lion."

"I am not a good lion, atleast not completely. I have not may have joined Zira but I do know I am dark." Kion declared. Zuri didn't say nothing to that and the two walked into silenced back to Pride Rock.

Kion saw his mom and dad waiting at Pride Rock. Reluctantly, Kion walked up while Zuri nudged him slightly, making him wrinced, as she walked downwind. Walking up, fearing that he had done something, the golden cub frown.

"You wanted to see me, mom, dad?" Kion questioned, gazing at each of his parents.

"Yes, sweetheart." Nala replied, a smile planned on her lips. "We have decided that it's time to talk with Rafiki and help you with some trauma." the creamy lioness frowned at the last part.

"Trauma?" Kion wondered. What have they wanted to help him with? Is it possible Kiara had told them the nightmares? He highly doubt that though, since she wasn't even sure about what had happen, but maybe she did told them that he have a few stares and sometimes go offworld.

Simba narrowed his eyes at the golden cub. "Yes. We know that you're going through some dark times. Rafiki wants you to have some therapy for you that can help you in this. Rafiki have plans for you and that you rely all your problems with him."

"Kiara have told us about your problem," Nala added. "And we want to help you out."

Ah. So Kiara did told them about his problems? Now to think about it Kiara always seems to be around when he have those very few traumas. The traumas have always been so little and nothing that cannot be controlled. Sometimes, Kion pushed it away but it's apparently getting better.

"But mom, dad, I'm getting better." he smiled sheepishly. "Kiara is helping me out mainly."

"Yeah, we know." Simba said acidly, his voice getting rough that made Kion bend his head down. He knew his father didn't trust him as much as others, but he didn't knew the reason why is because Kion's scar on his left eye. "But we want to make sure."

Kion was surprised by this. "Make sure? Dad! I'm a good lion! I don't need help! Just..."

Suddenly, he noticed something was off and turned to see purple blurs. Looking back to where his parents were originally at, Kion saw their bodies onto the ground. The golden lion cub begin backing up. "No! No! This isn't real!" he cried, beginning to back up and running down Pride Rock.

Only when he ran down he saw the dead bodies of new animals now; his old friends he have reunited with today and their bodies were quite brutal. Huduma were also seen.

Running forward, Kion noticed Kiara, Tiifu, Zuri's body on the ground bloody and not waking at all. Kion is trying to be tough and remembered the promise. "Help me!" voices cried but yet Kion never found the source. What was odd is that he saw another golden cub with blue eyes and a brown tuff getting brutalized by a bunch of wounds.

"No! Noooooo!" Kion cried, his eyes hissing open. Noticing he is down Pride Rock, the golden Prince ran back up and into Pride Rock! He is trying to be tough! But yet he keeps seeing these and they're taking a toll on him! Ignoring the cries of his parents, Kion ran to the side of Pride Rock to be alone! Perhaps, he should have just stayed with Zira!

A dark golden lion with blue eyes and an dark brown mane were laying down comfortably against the ledge of an big Rock. He had scars on his body and three scars down his left eye. Even though he seems a lot older then he should be, he was little over the age of adolescent's age.

These scars are life-time type of scars that would never be heal. He have been through much and had been abandoned by everyone in his life. Living in the Shadowlands and converting allies to his side have taken a toll on him.

He have been waiting for a few years, he watched from the shadows as Princess Kiara and Prince Kion were born. Princess Kiara is two to three months older then Kion, but the captured of Kion by Scar's 'mate' Zira have changed things.

He wanted to attack when Kion and Kiara were older but yet Prince Kion can be a threat, considering he have strength and power and somehow managed to stay as a Pride Lander.

The daughter of Zira, Vitani, have joined forces with him with the hope of power and into gaining the throne. Barely did anyone had knew they have met before when they were very young.

The dark golden lion wanted the power of the Pride Lands for himself. He had wanted to rule Pride Rock with an iron fist. He isn't going to back down until he inquired the throne and kill Simba, for what he had 'done' to him.

Just then, a female hyena with black deep holes eyes and a fully out tuff on her head approached with an zebra dangling in her mouth. Her irises darkened as she gazed at the strange lion. "Oh, your majesty, are you sure you are goin' to even get the throne?" the hyena matriarch questioned.

"Do you not trust me?" the strange dark golden lion asked, a smile coming onto his face.

"Of course we trust you." the hyena matriarch replied. "But we have suffered under Scar's region and were leaded by deceit. At the end, Scar just betrayed us and we had to run away."

"You forget, my dear hyena, I saved you a lot time ago and unlike Scar I give you food, water, and whatever else needed to survive." he narrowed his blue dark eyes directly at her. "Plus, with the daughter of Zira at her side and using her resourcefulness, we may get the Pride Lands sooner or later."

The female hyena narrowed her eyes back at the dark golden lion. "Scar said that too. And while the first part of his region were okay and we all gotten our share of food, guess what happened to me and my mate and brother! We had trusted Scar and yet because of him, my own son were separated from me!"

"See, my old friend, unlike Scar I keep my promises. Scar was too foolish and too overconfident to rule over an land. He didn't took things slow. Plus, he could've just raised Simba and trained him and 'till his day he would have been King with me still being the rightful heir." the dark golden lion swipe at the ground, leaving an huge mark and scrape across the ground. Sighing, he spoked again to the hyena. "But anyway, I need your help."

"So what's the plan?" the female hyena asked.

"Here's truly, when I assume the throne and kill Simba along with his children, I would control the entire Circle of Life and be able to allow you access to food but yet make sure it don't get too out of paw before things get worse and that what had happen to Scar don't happens to me. As you should know from what I have told you I know how to be a King."

"Yes, though you very little exposed your past, but what does this have to do with anything?" the female hyena demanded curtly.

He simply shrugged off her rudeness and smiled wickly. "Because, with Kion dead, no one can challenge me. Princess Kiara is too weak to challenge me in a fair fight and I would be able to destroy her. But Prince Kion is a threat that must be extinguish."

By the way the female hyena had raised her eyebrow she seem interested. "Do you want us to attack now?" she asked.

"Of course not! It would be a foolish move to attack now! For now, I have an plan that can aid us greatly. In a few weeks up to a month, we would attack, however it would be you leading the charge, Shenzi, because I have no plans of revealing myself just yet."
