Here there,

Remember when I said I was gonna update once a week all those months ago. Isn't that funny... it really isn't that funny. I'm so sorry guys.

Okay so here's the deal, I made the discord and I still utterly failed to live up to my promises and I feel... shitty. If you're still interested, message me. For all those who did and I didn't send the link, message me again, I actually stopped using this app so I missed your messages.

So here's me grinding out chapters for all of you guys. I cant promise you regular updates but what I can give you is a promise that this story will be finished this year. By the hook or by the crook.

Let's go... Operation #Finish2020 has begun.

Kiba Inuzuka was not a person that someone would promote as the poster boy of patience. He was loud. He was wild. He was brash. He was confident bordering on arrogant.

But most of all, he was impatient.

But, that was the charm of Kiba Inuzuka. Well, the charm of the entire Inuzuka clan to be honest. They were the wild clan of the Leaf Village. Just tame enough not to be considered feral and aggressive enough not to be considered formal.

Civilised monsters in a sense (and they'd take that as a compliment)

So, it was only a matter of time before Kiba literally leaped at the sealing matrix in order to get his future displayed for the whole room to see.

"Alright it's our turn!" exclaimed the exuberant Inuzuka. "I know our future is going to be the best one yet, isn't that right Akamaru?"

A happy yip from the small dog atop his word was the reply to his question.

"We have to be the best," he said. "If the dead-last Naruto can be Hokage (Hey, watch it!), we're probably the Daimyo himself!"

Tsume laughed uproariously at here son's proclamation. Kiba truly was a boy high off his own confidence, and she wouldn't have it any other way.

Well, maybe a bit more appreciation of subtlety and strategy, but he'll mature into it. After all, time and experience are life's greatest teacher.

Kiba, unaware to his mother's thoughts, channeled his chakra into the sealing matrix and stepped back in awe as it glowed a brilliant blue hue. Soon, a screen formed and on its screen was an older Kiba Inuzuka sitting at a table alongside an older Naruto Uzumaki.

"So..." Kiba spoke with the smallest hint of a blush to his cheek. He was without his signature furred jacket, opting to wear a simple plain grey t-shirt with black trousers. His long, brown hair was left to flow down the nape of his neck as he decided not wear his shinobi headband and the distinct red fangs kn his cheeks seemed even brighter than usual.

He was seated at the dining table in the newly christened Uzumaki house with his fingers drumming on the wooden surface.

Across from him, sat his longtime colleague and friend, Naruto Uzumaki.

"So..." Naruto replied, feeling awkward about the situation. He, like the man sitting across him, had opted not to wear his signature jacket, and was fitted in a loose black t-shirt with orange pants.

"What am I doing over your house Naruto?" Kiba asked.

"How the hell am I supposed to know? Does it look like I can see into the future?" Naruto barked in reply.

"Well, that's what you're technically doing right now," Shikamaru snarked from his chair.

Naruto fumed red as the room chuckled.

"... how's marriage life treating you so far? Kiba inquired, lost for a suitable topic to speak about. He was regretting his decision to come over here, and with each every tick of the wall clock hung up in the room, he felt his confidence waning.

"Its, good so far, I guess," Naruto replied. "I can't really say anything about it since its barely been two weeks since the wedding."

"Ah, I see."

"So, how about weather? Pretty weird weather we've been having, wouldn't you say?"

"It's been fair for the last month or so, Kiba"

"Yeah, yeah. You're right," Kiba sighed.

"Well, this conversation is awkward," Ino commented. The young blond was curious as to why the brash Inuzuka seemed so tame.

As was most of the room.

Tsume, however, had a knowing smile.

A mother always know it seems.

The clock ticks seemed to echo in his ears as he sought a way to breach the subject. It was embarrassing. Here he was, Kiba Inuzuka, tongue-tied for words. This wasn't like him. He was the loud one (well, if you didn't count Naruto) and his years of being on a team with two of the quietest persons ever in the Land of Fire had given him enough experience to know how to keep a conversation going.

So why was he so afraid of talking!

"Was there a reason you came to see me Kiba," Naruto asked, and Kiba gulped as he nodded minutely, cheeks gaining a brighter rosy tint.

"So what is it?"

"I need... I need some advice Naruto," he admitted.

"Advice? Sure, about what?"

With a sigh, he leaned forward in his chair, then immediately felt uncomfortable and made to stand.

"I need to know how you did it. I need your help as much as it pains me to say it."

Naruto was confused, it wasn't often that Kiba came for help, especially outside of Team 8.

"And you needed my help specifically?"

Kiba nodded. "I'd ask Shino, but he isn't the type of person to go too for this. He's... he's way too logical. Plus, he doesn't have a lot of experience in this either. And I don't want to ask Hinata or Kurenai-sensei either because they'll get all girly and make a big deal out of it. You know how girls are!"

"And what is that supposed to mean, Kiba?" a hauntingly chilling voice spoke from behind him. Mechanically, he turned in his seat and paled under the vivid blood red eyes of his joining sensei. He had though she was hot when he first saw her, but all those thoughts fled from his mind as he was pinned under her eerie glare.

A few seconds passed before Asuma chuckled, wrapping an arm around the future mother of his children.

"Relax kid, she's just messing with you," he explained.

Kurenai laughed softly, leaning back into Asuma. "Why won't you let me have a little fun with my genius?" she grinned.

"The kid looked like he's about to piss his pants,"

Kiba's face shot aflame with heat, and he spun back to face the screen, dutifully ignoring the snickers.

Naruto nodded.

"Okay, what do you need my help with?"

Here it was. All or nothing Kiba.

"How... how did you get Hinata to move in to a new house with you?"

"Ooooooh" the room chorused as one.

Naruto stopped, puzzled. He wasn't the sharpest kunai in the shed, but he wasn't an idiot either. He had a knack for picking up some of the smallest details that many would overlook and the signs were telling him right now that this was something Kiba had thought long and hard on before even asking to come over yesterday.

He knew Kiba was dating someone, but wasn't sure how long the two were together for. He vaguely recalled her coming to his and Hinata's wedding on his arm as his plus one, and knew she was a cat lover.

Outside of that, he didn't know much about her.

"Are you asking what I think you're asking Kiba?" Naruto queried.

Kiba nodded.

"Well then, take a seat. I think I know the perfect way to help"

With a slight hesitation, Kiba retook the seat he had vacated. Drumming his fingers along the table, he waited for Naruto to continue.

"I remember the day I knew I wanted to live with Hinata forever. It was after one of our dates. I walked her home, and watched as he went inside her compound. I remember feeling this sense of loss. Even though I had just spent the whole day with her, I felt as though that wasn't enough. I couldn't sleep that night, and every day since, I wanted her never-ending presence.

"Is that what you feel right now? Does everytime you watch her leave, you feel as though you didn't get to spend enough time with her?"

Hinata's eyes were filled with tears at his admission, and she peak a glance at her future husband and saw that his attention was riveted to the screen.

With a watery grin, she grabbed his hand. Startled by the unexpected contact, Naruto turned to look at her and smiled at their interlocked fingers.

Hinata knew from her years of admiring (read: stalking him dutifully for almost everyday without a sound) that Naruto led a lonely life with few persons he could count as family. She was glad she was glad to be there for him, and knew that he appreciated her presence as much as she loved his.

"Yeah," Kiba admitted.

"Then I'll tell you the same thing that Hiashi told me. Liking someone is easy, loving them as well. But to live with someone is one of the hardest thing you'll ever do. There are no breaks, there is no time-outs. There is no hiding, all of them will be there, all the time.

"You'll learn things about them. Things you never knew before. Things you'll come to hate. Small arguments will become big arguments. You'll hate them and curse them, but you should always remember why you loved them in the first place. You'll need to accept them, with all their flaws. The good and the bad. The pros, and the cons. Do you, after hearing all this, believe that you're ready for it?"

"WAIIIIII, HIASHI-DONO. SUCH SPARKLING AND YOUTHFUL WORDS THAT SPEAK ABOUT THE EPIC TALES OF A FRESH NEW SPRING!!!" Gai shouted in glee. The bowl-cut, green-spandex wearing shinobi posed gallantly as he screamed to the heavens. "YOUR FLAMES OF YOUTH BURN EVEN BRIGHTER AS YOU AGE, HIASHI-DONO!!! IF I FAIL TO MATCH THOSE BEAUTIFUL FLAMES WHEN I AM YOUR AGE, I SHALL DO A THOUSAND PUSH UPS!"

"THEN I SHALL TEN THOUSAND, GAI-SENSEI!"

"YOSH, THAT'S THE SPIRIT LEE!"

'Kami, give me strength,' Kakashi prayed with a deadpan beside his raving friend. Sometimes, he truly wondered about the sanity of Gai.

Kiba sat stunned. He had no idea that Naruto, and in retrospect, Hiashi Hyuuga, could be so intense. But he could understand why, this was big decision. One he would have to be serious about.

The commitment level scared him, that was no joke. Was he even ready to make that step?

Before he could answer, the door creaked open, and in walked Hinata. In her hands, were bags filled with groceries. Withing a moment, Naruto had stood up from the table and swept over to his wife. With a practiced ease, he took her into his arms and planted a chaste kiss on her forehead.

Kiba stayed in his seat as he watched the newlyweds move towards the kitchen, Naruto helping Hinata unloading the bags of groceries.

He watched fascinated as the two danced around and along each other as they worked in the kitchen. There was an understanding there between the two. Of trust and love.

It was a connection he admired, coveted and yearned for.

And suddenly, the answer came to him.

With a muted goodbye, he left the Uzumaki household with a destination in mind.

Hinata watched as her teammate left. Curious, she turned to Naruto.

"Why was Kiba here? Did he need help?" she asked.

"Nah, I think he has it all figured out?" Naruto replied with a grin.

"Awww," Sakura cooed. "That was so beautiful,"

"I know right! Who knew Kiba could be the romantic type," Ino replied.

The sky had darkened as the moon dominated overhead. The Konoha night life was in full swing and the enriched laughter and excitement pulsed through the air.

Here we find Kiba Inuzuka, strolling through the ever growing crowd with a young lady on his arm. Her long brown hair was styled loosely and feel to her chest, swaying slightly with every step she took. She was dressed in a casual pink ensemble, with a white overcoat, furred at collared, draped over her shoulders.

"I had a lovely time Kiba-kun," she murmured.

"I'm glad you did."

The two said nothing as they continued to meander through crowd, before long, twisting away from the main road onto a small dirt trail.

"This is where we part ways, Kiba-kun. I see you tomorrow," she said.

She tipped and kiss him on the cheek before making her way towards her apartment. She was stopped however, as Kiba snagged her wrist.

"No. Stay," he said.

"For the night?"

"No. Stay. With me. Forever?" He murmured, glad there was no one around to hear him. He dug into his pocket and brought out a lone golden key. "I moved out of the Inuzuka clan compound all those months ago. How about you come over and spend the night at my apartment and never leave?"

A loud squeal of delight erupted throughout the room.

Her eyes glistened. For an aching moment he felt she would say no. But as she barrelled into his chest and wrapped him in a tight hug, he knew he made the right decision.

The sealing matrix faded and the screen sputtered out.

Akamaru barked in response to the scenes there had scene and Kiba seemingly nodded in agreement.

"I know right boy, pretty heavy stuff. She was pretty hot though,"

Akamaru barked again, yipping in agreement to his partner's assessment.

And Kiba's chapter is finished.

Hey there again, it's me, the author.

Again I would like to say, please please please, stop stealing my content. Look, I'd understand if you're inspired by my work, it's inevitable in the writing world. But to simply copy and paste my entire chapter is not cool.

And giving credit does not make you innocent of it. Because to be inspired is different than to plagiarize. I can understand you using my plotlines or premise, however do so in your own words. Otherwise, you're simply re-uploading my work.

There's a book I read, not going to name it, but the writer simply took a whole chapter from my story word for word and pasted it. Then they stole other chapters from other stories as well and pasted it into thiers while continuing to steal entire paragraphs, analogies and unique dialogue from my story and integrate it word for word into theirs.

That is not inspiration, that is plagiarizing.

I hope they read this, realize their mistake and message me accordingly. It's not rewarding as a writing to see someone rip off your work and publish it as their own.

I've read their comments and have seen all the praises for 'their' writing style and delivery and I seriously wonder how are you satisfied with that knowing that you wrote not a single word of that book? Does that not eat at you?

Anyways, ranting time over. See you guys next time.
