(Cinder)

Interesting... She puts a delicate hand to her chin while she mulls over at what the old fool had babbled about. Light dust? Does he think she's some kind of an idiot? Unsurprisingly enough, a couple students did not buy a single word that he spewed. Like the Schnee girl. Though, it is obvious because of her heritage. Atlas is the biggest disputer of Dust on the planet, and her being an expert on the field is not far-fetched.

Light dust is the rarest and most expensive type of dust there is, so most huntsmen and huntresses don't use it. There is also the fact that it is not compatible with most weapons, so others won't bother looking for it, making them quite ignorant of its uses.

It is mostly used in melee combat, but not to say that it can't be used in ranged, such as making barriers and shooting light beams with it.

There were also the new "Dustsabers" being made in Atlas. A simple handle made of out steel, and the blade made out of pure light dust energy. Still a prototype, but quite powerful from what she had heard.

She's more surprised that a lot of students bought the excuse. Maybe because they're still impressionable and naive children? Or the trust they have for their headmaster has blinded them? It could very well be Ozpin's charisma at work.

A light dust bomb could theoretically be powerful enough to wipe out an entire horde of Grimm, but not harming a single Human or Faunus? Not logical.

Ozpin is hiding something...

"Emerald, Mercury," She calls out to her subordinates. "you stay here. I need to make a call."

They both nod obediently as Cinder makes her way back to her room, passing a few students and teachers. She arrives after a minute, opening and closing the door behind her. Setting on the bed, she takes a deep breath as she takes out her scroll, pressing 'Call' on a contact titled "S"

"Speak." A mature and alluring voice commands, causing Cinder to shiver slightly.

"Mistress, there is something Ozpin is hiding, and I feel as it might get the way of the mission." She responds professionally.

"Oh? Good. Curiosity and cautiousness can save your life." Salem commends. "Do go on."

"The... Breach was forced to initiate before schedule by a couple of nosy children." She explains. "The amount of Grimm was much bigger than we originally thought. It should've taken more than five minutes to clear them all, even with the amount of huntsmen there. But..."

Salem listens patiently.

"They were all wiped out in an instant after a minute of getting in when a girl was enveloped by a brilliant silver light."

Salem stays silent before replying. "What is the girl's eye color?"

Cinder almost responded dumbly but answered. "Silver, why?"

The Grimm Queen hums. "Tell me, what is her name?"

"...Ruby Rose."

The Fall Maiden was caught off guard when her mistress chuckled. "A Rose, hmm?" She can feel the amusement in her lady's voice. "It seems that she had an offspring without my knowledge. Impressive..."

"Mistress? Is there something about the girl?"

"Yes, her eyes." Salem answers. "Shards of the God Of Light is imbued in them, making the ones born with silver eyes the ultimate Grimm slayers."

Cinder freezes at this. Shards of a god? In a girl like her? And...

"My lady, there is someone else with silver eyes."

"Do tell."

"A boy by the name of Reid Astera."

Salem pauses. "Astera? How peculiar. I've never heard of a silver-eyed clan that goes by that name... Maybe they hid away?" She mutters. "No matter. Cinder, I want at least one of them to be brought to me, alive." The witch orders. "But if you do bring me both, then you shall be rewarded. And do be careful with them. A Maiden is very susceptible to their power."

"As you command."

"Good. I await your return." And with that, the call ends.

Cinder sighs slightly. She still can't help but feel scared when she's talking to her mistress directly, even with obvious good mood she seems to be in the past month. It happened after that masked woman appeared...

She shakes her head, it was probably nothing.

She texts Emerald and Mercury that they can come back now, resting her head on the pillow.

"Silver eyes, huh?" She flips through the students IDs until she spots the two with the trait. "Too bad Salem wants you. I would've used your eyes in ways you could never imagine..."

Oh well. At least the Maiden's magic is hers.

I'm such an idiot.

(Yes, you've been saying that for the past 30 minutes. You can shut up now.)

I just had to open my damn mouth and reveal who was behind the BRIGHT LIGHT THAT VAPORIZED EVERY GRIMM THERE!

(Ughh.)

If I had stayed quiet, no one would've known about the silver eyes. How the hell is Ozpin gonna explain this?

(Yeah, let Ozpin deal with your fuck up. It's only fair.)

Look, knowing me, I'll somehow fuck it up even more. I'm letting Ozpin deal with this because he's a lot more experienced. He probably had to explain that magic doesn't exist every time a Maiden fucked up, so I'm sure he can handle it.

Click!

I slowly turn my gaze to the opened door, revealing Ozpin uncharacteristically without a coffee mug, looking a bit relieved. He spots me sitting near the sleeping form of Ruby and smiles.

"What happened? What did you tell them?" I ask.

he takes a seat beside me. "I managed to calm down the students and give them an explanation." He chuckles. "They were quite ruthless with their questions."

"I..." I sigh sadly. "I'm sorry. It's my fault. I was just so excited and..."

"It's alright. We've all made mistakes." He shakes his head with a small smile. "How is she?"

"Nothing serious, just exhaustion." I smile softly. "I think she tired herself out when she used the eyes."

"I see." He leans back on his chair. "I'm glad you're all safe."

I frown sadly, guilt written on my face. "Ozpin, I'm so sorry."

He raises an eyebrow. "I told you: We all make mist-"

"Not that!" I wince at my loud voice. "I assured you that I will stop the train. That I'll make sure everything goes perfectly." I clench my fists. "In the end, I-"

"Reid." His calm voice makes me stop. "Don't feel that way about yourself. You've done all that you could to protect everyone. You did your best, young man."

"it's not enough!" I stand up, furious at myself. "I have enough power to make any huntsman or huntress envious! And what do I do with it? Nothing! All because I don't want anyone to know..."

Ozpin stays silent for a while then starts. "Tell me, do you trust your friends?"

I look at him in confusion. "What? Of course I do!"

"Then why not tell them? Why not tell them about your magic?"

"I..." I stop myself. Why not tell them? Hell I could just tell them about The Gamer and...

Wow, what a cheater. A voice eerily similar so Yang speaks.

I could just...

You preach about hard work, but can you really call it hard work with what you have? Now it's Weiss.

I...

I trained my whole life to get where I am now, and you do it in a few months? What a joke. Pyrrha.

Was training with me just a joke to you? Is watching me struggle while having bullshit powers that funny to you? Jaune.

No, I-

I thought you were better than this... Ren.

Sorry, but I don't talk to people who cheat their way to the top. Nora.

I didn't-

So all those time you heard me out was because you want to fill that little bar? Are we really friends? Or are you doing this for those points? This time it's Blake.

We are friends!

Do you really love me? I can't tell with that thing you have. Ruby says. It feels as if all of this is just a game to you. Are we real people to you? Or do you see us as simple-minded NPCs?

I gasp, cold sweat trailing down my face. Ozpin says something to me in concern but I don't give him attention as a single thought races through my mind.

Never tell them.

Telling them that I could do something they worked their entire lives on in a single month is a recipe for disaster. How would do I feel if it happened to me? Jealousy can turn to resentment pretty easily.

I should know.

"Reid!" I snap out of it as Ozpin shakes me by the shoulders. "Are you alright, young man?"

"I'm okay." I breathe deeply. "I'm fine. Just a scary thought."

"Would you like to talk about it?"

"No!" I say quickly. "I-I don't. It was silly. It was nothing."

He looks at me uncertainly then sighs and smiles. "Of course." He heads to the door. "Remember, if you need anyone to talk to, I'll be happy to help."

I sigh as the door of the clinic room closes, a hand running through my hair while I think about the "episode" I just went through. Are they really gonna think like that? I know I might.

Imagine how you would feel if you see someone who can do everything you do hundreds of times better with barely any practice. It's just... Frustrating.

I already acknowledged that The Gamer is a cheat ability, and I'm happy to have it, I really am. It's something that will help me survive and keep my loved ones safe.

I gaze at Ruby. But will they feel the same? Knowing that someone can be better than you in whatever you working on with minimal effort is painful.

Can I even still call it hard work? does having The Gamer really make anything hard? All the times I was having difficulties was because I'm under-leveled and too lazy to grow.

Al, what do you think?

... ... ...

Altair? Are you there?

... ... ...

Oh great, she's not here.

I take a deep breath as I think positively. No, they're my friends. They'll never do something like this. I trust them with my life and I know they think the same. That's what friends do.

And my friends have my back no matter what. I know that they'll support me no matter what. They might make a joke or two about how overpowered it is, but that's it, they will never ever leave me.

I don't need the game to know that Ruby loves me. That she'll stand by my side in my darkest times. And I'll do the same for her, even if she had The Gamer instead.

...So why?

Why is the thought of never telling them doesn't go away?

"Hnng..." Ruby stirs, groaning and opening her eyes. "Where-" She yawns cutely. "Where am I?"

"Oh, you're awake." I push down my thoughts as I smile at her. "We are in the clinic at Beacon."

She looks at me and smiles, but replaces it quickly with a frown. "What happened?"

"We didn't stop the train." I say sadly then smile. "But, you did something amazing."

"Really?"

"Yup!" I scoot closer to her and grab her by the shoulders. "You used your eyes!"

Her eyes widen in wonder. "Really?!"

"Yes!" I laugh as she squeals in excitement. "I knew you had it in you!"

"What was it like? How many Grimm did I kill? Was it beautiful? Were my eyes strong?" She asks questions after questions, her mouth moving hundred miles an hour.

"Woah, calm down Rubes." I chuckle as she stops and laughs nervously. "Well, I don't know how to answer some of these questions, but I can tell you that it was very strong." I grin proudly. "In fact, you wiped out every Grimm there."

5 Reputation with Ruby Rose!

3 Affection with Ruby Rose!

Her eyes sparkle in amazement. "Woaaaah..." She squeals and hugs me tightly. "Thank you so much! If it wasn't for you, I would've never known about it."

"No way." I pat her head. "Even if I didn't tell you, you would've figured it out one day. You're smart like that."

2 Affection with Ruby Rose!

Her arms around me tighten. "Thanks." I can feel her blush even without seeing her face. She suddenly gasps and brings her hands to my face. "Y-you were hurt!"

"Huh?"

"I saw you bleeding and bruised and the Grimm were surrounding you and..." She stops and stares at my amused face. "You're okay..."

"Am I now?"

She sighs in relief. "Thank goodness..."

Our eyes lock on to each other, and I was a bit surprised to feel her bring my head closer to her. She blushes and closes her eyes as she presses her lips against mine, making me close my eyes in bliss.

She reluctantly pulls back after a few seconds, her face beet red with a soft smile. She rests her forehead on my chest, causing me to pat her head, feeling her silky hair. "I was so worried."

"Sorry."

"It's fine." She wraps her arms around my back and looks up to my face. "But how did you heal so fast? Something like that would take days to heal from, even with Aura."

I hold in a flinch. What should I tell her? Should I lie? No, I... I should tell her the truth. I wouldn't be able to look at myself in the mirror if I lie at her now.

I open my mouth, but I couldn't find my voice.

Do you really love me?

I clamp my mouth shut and grin to hide my insecurities. "Actually, I have a question that's been bugging me for a... few days." I try to change the subject.

She tilts her head adorably and nods. "What is it?"

"You see, a friend of mine asked me this and I wondered how you were gonna answer." I clear my throat. "Okay, so how many years have you trained with a scythe?"

"Hmmm..." She squints her eyes in thought. "I started training at ten with a scythe, so around five years."

"Right, five years." I nod. "Let's say that I took up the scythe for the first time, and managed to reach your level in a bit over a month. How would you feel? Personally, I don't think I'll ever get along with anyone who can do that."

"Well..." She lets go of me and scratches her head. "Honestly, I would feel a bit frustrated at it. I mean, it took a long time to even get the stance right and you do everything in a month."

Is that so...

"But on the bright side, I have a scythe buddy!" She grins. "Besides, a month or not, you still worked to get to where you are, so..." She shrugs.

"Wait, so you're fine with that? No matter how many years it took you?"

"Reid, I think that people who deserve power are the ones who use it for good." She smiles softly. "Even you have that very unfair power, I know you'll never abuse it, which is why I'll never hate you for it."

It took me a lot of restraint to not breathe in relief, instead I opted to smile back and nod. "That was best answer I think I'll ever receive."

She giggles. "That's good." tilting her head, she faces me with a confused look. "Why has it been bugging you anyways?"

"It's nothing." I wave off her question and stand up. "I think I bothered you enough. I'll go and see what the others are doing and tell them that you woke up. See... You..."

A very familiar ache spikes in my head, making me grimace and grunt in pain. I barely hear Ruby's confused voice as I stumble and fall on her. I hear one last thing that makes me curse the idiot god(?) in my head.

(Sorry, I went out to get me a drink, what did I miss- oh... Oops?)

I hate you so much...

[Updating game...Estimate time: 8 Hours, 11 Minutes, 56 Seconds.]

(Ruby)

She freezes as her boyfriend suddenly stumbled onto her, his face falling on her chest as her face burns crimson. What's gotten into him?!

"Reid, what are you doing?!" She shrieks, pushing his face away from her. "S-someone might see us!"

He doesn't respond.

"R-Reid?" She quiets down as she hears his quiet breathing. "Is he asleep?" Ruby wonders out loud, moving his head to see that indeed he is sleeping.

But why now all of a sudden?

She gasps lightly as she comes into a realization. Could it be? Was he actually hurt by what happened at the breach, but he was hiding it because he was worried about her? And now, exhaustion finally caught up to him?

She blushes bright red. Does he really love her that much? She hugs his head and brings him closer to her chest, the embarrassment she felt earlier was easily squashed by the giddiness she's feeling now.

She still can't believe that she lucked out with him. Ruby, the socially inept and weapon fanatic actually going out with someone in her first year in school.

When she came to Beacon, she never thought she was gonna have more than one friend let alone seven. Not only that, but she was dating arguably the hottest boy in the whole academy.

Ruby smiles softly, blush still present as she runs her hand through his surprisingly soft hair. She's still in her first-year and look at what she has now!

The door suddenly bursts open, revealing Yang with a plate in her hand. "Heya, Reid! I got som-"

Both sisters freeze as they stare at each other. The older's eyes trail down and stops as she sees Reid on top of Ruby, his face buried between her breasts. Ruby breaks into cold sweat as she realizes what's about to happen.

"Y-Yang, I want you to stay calm." Ruby flinches and panics as Yang snarls and her eyes turn red. "Yang, there's an explanation for this!"

"You son of A BITCH!" She screams, forgetting the plate and letting it shatter on the ground. "You think you can take advantage of my baby sister?!"

"YANG NO!" She pulls the soon-to-be dead man in closer in an effort to protect him. "HE PASSED OUT! HE PASSED OUT!"

The blonde thankfully stops dead in her track. "What?"

"Yes, look!" She turns his head to Yang's direction, displaying his peaceful looking face. "He wasn't doing anything to me. He was just so tired that he fell asleep on me."

The older of the two stays silent to digest what she had heard, before sighing and blinking her eyes back to their usual lilac color. "That so? I really thought he was molesting you or something..."

"You know he'd never do something like that." She replied almost too hotly. She was kind of offended at that.

"I know, I know." The blonde sits on the chair nearby. "It didn't look that way to me and I kinda lost my temper, sorry." Yang smiles. "How are ya feeling, sis?"

"Eh, a little tired." She yawns. "I might take a nap soon."

"Not gonna lie, Rubes, that trick with hard light dust was pretty cool." Yang admits with a smirk. "Never thought it could be used like that. Where did you even get it from? Did you borrow some from Weiss?"

...What? "Hard light dust? What are you talking about?"

"You know, what you did to wipe out all the Grimm back there! Was it some kind of a bomb?"

What dust? She used her ...Eyes...

Her eyes widen. They were supposed to be a secret!

"Y-Yang, who told you about it?" Ruby asks slowly.

"Hm?" She tilts her head. "Professor Ozpin did." She suddenly snaps her fingers. "Wait, was that the thing you and Reid were working on every time you went to the Emerald Forest?"

"I-" She stops herself before continuing. Should she tell her the truth? The less people knowing about it, the better, is what Reid used to say.

But this is her sister. She doesn't want to keep something this big from her a secret.

Is it really the right thing to keep her out of the loop?

... ... ...

Ruby moves Reid to the other chair, making him rest by leaning back on it. She steels herself and nods. Yang deserves to know.

"Yang, there's something I need to tell you."

And so she did, from the first time she had known about it to her first use of the power. All the attempts she did, all the instruction she got, and the feeling she had when it finally worked. She told her every small detail she could think of, all with a straight face. And when she finished, she felt a weight lift off her shoulders.

She never knew that keeping a secret like this could be so draining.

The only thing she kept from her older sister is the assassinations. She has no idea how Yang would react if she did tell.

Thank the gods I'm a bad liar.

Ruby waits anxiously for her sister's response, with said sister's eyes shadowed by her long hair. She was prepared to be yelled at for keeping something so important, or maybe laughing it off like it's nothing.

She definitely did not expect Yang looking so hurt.

"So, you didn't trust me?" She uttered quietly, making the younger one feel a stabbing sensation to her heart. "Is that it?"

"No no no no!" She quickly tries to de-escalate the situation. "That's not it!"

"Ruby, don't even-"

"LISTEN TO ME" She didn't even notice how high her voice got from the desperation she's feeling. She does not want to end this day on a bad note. "Just listen."

Yang quiets down.

"This isn't something I should tell anyone, Yang." She winces at how poorly she worded that sentence. "Because the secret is not only mine." She gazes at her fellow silver-eyed teen. "It's his too."

Her older sister says nothing.

"It's not fair to just tell anyone I want when he's involved in this." She shakes her head. "How do you think he would feel?"

Yang's look softens. "Why didn't you talk about it with him, then?"

"I did!" Ruby admits. "He refused and said 'Not now'." She meets her sister's lilac eyes. "He was planning on telling you all! But I don't know when..."

Please don't ask why, Please don't ask why, Please don't ask why! Please!

"What changed? Why tell me now?"

Thank goodness!

"I didn't want to hide it from you anymore." She says with a small smile. "I wanted you to know more than anyone."

Her sister stares silently for a moment then breaks into a smile. "Thanks, Rubes." She rubs her neck. "I guess I can understand why you hid it. Thank you for telling me, sis."

Said sister lets out a sigh of relief. "I really thought you were gonna snap at me."

Yang laughs. "I thought so too." She cracks her knuckles. "So! Now that's out of the way, I have one tiny question..."

The room suddenly got a lot colder. Ruby stiffens at her sister's 'Tiny question'

"You two are dating, aren't you?"

Ah, crap. She nods slowly.

Yang takes a deep breath through her nose. "Since when?"

"T-the dance..."

"And you didn't tell me why?"

"I forgot!" She yells. "I swear I forgot! Please don't kill him! We didn't do anything afterwards I swear!"

Yang stops and stares incredulously before sighing and pinching the bridge of her nose. "Yeah, this is definitely something you would do."

"What's that supposed to mean?" She asks meekly.

"Well, at least Weiss owes me that 500 Lien." Yang grins

"Y-you were betting on me?!"

"I think I should tell the others you're awake." Ruby was completely ignored as her sister stands up and turns her head to the sleeping boy. "And take him back to his room." Yang leans in closer and hums, her hand moving upwards and near him then...

Slap!

Ruby gasps. "Yang!"

"Woahh..."

Slap!

"Don't do that!"

Yang laughs. "Talk about a heavy sleeper!"

Slap!

Okay, now it's starting to anger her. "Stop slapping him!"

"Alright big guy." She wraps his arms around shoulders. "Let's bring you back to your bed."

He was unresponsive.

"Oi." Yang tries to get him on his feet, but fails. "G-get up. Get up!"

Ruby stifles a giggle.

Yang doesn't move for a bit before turning her head back to younger sister. "I thought you said he was sleeping not dead!"

"Don't say that!" Ruby laughs despite what she said.

"Yeah, yeah..." She stabilizes him and sighs. "This is gonna take a while..."

Uhh, whu? OH!

"RUBY I AM SO-" I start, but then notice that I'm in my room. "Sorry? They brought me back..."

... ... ...

Al, why?

(It kinda sorta slipped my mind. Sorry.)

Alright, okay, I guess it's fair. What happened next?

(You were almost killed by a very angry Yang after falling on her baby sister's chest.)

Ahhhh shiiiit.

(But! You were saved by said sister before it happened. So you owe her a thanks and a kiss on the cheek.)

I ignore the last part as I rub my temples with a sigh.

Wait a minute...

Since when did you start talking?!

(What, did you seriously just notice? I've doing it for a week now.)

I didn't!

Or maybe I somehow heard your overly smug and annoying tone through your texts, that I didn't notice your real voice because it sounds the fucking same!

(Silly little Gamer. You can't hear texts!)

I grin. Smartass.

... ... ...

It's nice hearing your voice for the first time though.

(Hmmhmm.)

By the way, what's this Magic Mastery skill?

[Magic Mastery (Passive/Active) LV62 EXP 62.12]

Magic. The power of the mind and spirit has existed before time itself. The base of creation and destruction. As long as you have Mana, you can use it to do supernatural actions, like creating fire out of nothing, or using your own life force as a weapon. The color varies depending on your alignment.

-62% Increase damage in elementless magic.

-31% Decrease in Mana usage.

-20% Increase damage in elemental magic

-You can add very advanced affinities to yourself

-Your Mana color is light blue, reflecting your pure heart.

I... Don't know about the pure heart thing.

(Of course, nothing is truly "Pure hearted". It is merely a compliment to your 'Neutral Good' alignment.)

I see...

Wait, I just noticed.

Congratulations! You have reached 100 in INT! You have gained a new perk!

[Greater Mana Core]

The Mana core is the generator of your magic, and yours is bigger than others! 25% Increase in Mana capacity.

I have barely anymore points, but it's gonna be worth it.

I pull a skill book I had many months ago and look at it with anticipation. Please, please have the thing I want and don't be a waste.

Sealing affinity added!

"Okay let's try it..." I aim at my right arm with my left and shout. "Gravity Seal!"

This magic skill is beyond your level.

"YEEEESSSSSSS" I pump my hands up in celebration and laugh. "My gamble payed off!"

Woooooow. I was so worried it won't work.

I squeal giddily. Gravity training here I come! "But now..." I get up and walk to my door, my right hand touching it. Grinding time! "Seal! Unseal! Seal! Unseal! Seal! Unseal!"

(Hours later...)

"Unseal! Seal! Unseal! Alright, I'm bored." I say abruptly. "I wonder what level I reached..."

[Sealing Magic Affinity (Active/Passive) LV21 EXP 13.02]

The art of sealing is one that is extremely rare among humans. Used to seal the powers of others, causing them to be completely powerless if the user is powerful enough. A skilled one, however, can break the rules and cast powerful spells...

-Sealing is 21% more effective.

-Sealing costs 10% less Mana.

What?! Only 20 levels?! I was here for hours, my throat is sore.

(You... Know you could do it without yelling the skill out loud, right?)

"'Course I do. It sounds a lot cooler though."

(Of course that's your reasoning...)

Anyway, I think I should go to Ruby and apologize. Kinda rude to suddenly fall unconscious on someone, no? Then, I think I should go to Ozpin. I have a meeting with the fashionable thief after all.

Knock! Knock!

A single second of Sense Life tells me who it is. Ruby's bright red glow standing outside my room.

I open the door with a smile. "Hey, what's up?"

"I'm great!" She gets closer and frowns. "What about you? You were so tired yesterday."

"Ah, that..." I bow my head slightly. "I am so sorry about what happened! I really didn't mean to."

"I-it's fine. I know you didn't." She blushes. "Thank the gods Yang listened to me." She loses her blush and gazes away guiltily. "R-Reid, there's something I need to tell you..."

I notice her unease and smile encouragingly. "Of course."

She looks at our surroundings. "Don't be mad but..." She stares down at her feet. "I told Yang about the eyes..."

"Ahhh... That." I sigh.

"I-I'm sorry." She says almost too quietly.

"It's fine, Rubes. It was unfair of me to put a burden like this out of nowhere on you." I smile softly and pat her head. "I think it is better that you told her, really. I don't want to strain the great relationship you two have over my own selfishness."

"It's not- You're not selfish!" She replies. "You're the kindest person I've ever met! I'm the selfish one by telling without your permission."

"You're not." I shake my head with a sigh. "But I guess you won't accept this, are you?"

She giggles despite the situation. "Now you're starting to learn."

I join her laughing. "Alright, Ruby, I need to see Ozpin now. See you later okay?"

20 Reputation with Ruby Rose!

15 Affection with Ruby Rose!

She nods and pecks me on the cheek. "I'm back in my room if you need me."

Ruby is surprisingly really... Affectionate.

Not that I hate it.

Stepping out of the elevator, I spot Ozpin who is looking over some papers.

"Mr. Astera." Ozpin gives a nod of acknowledgment.

"You can call me by name, Oz. I won't mind."

He chuckles. "What brings you here, Reid? You have a day off today. Don't waste it with a dull old man like me."

"Ah you're selling yourself short, Oz. You're not boring at all." I clear my throat and change my tone. "Though, I have a reason for coming here."

He stops looking at the papers and gazes at me.

"I need to speak with Roman Torchwick."

He raises an eyebrow. "Why is that?"

I smirk. "A connection to the criminal underworld can very useful."

He sighs. "While I do agree with the notion, I believe James wouldn't." He leans back. "He's taken custody of Roman."

"Ah, shit."

"Indeed." He presses a button on his computer and the general's face appears. "James, would you please meet me at my office? Alone."

He nods. "Of course."

"...We're gonna have to tell him about the visions, aren't we?"

"Not quite."

A few minutes later and the elevator opens, revealing James Ironwood with his hands behind his back.

"General." I salute.

"At ease, Astera." He nods with a small smile. "What is it?"

"Mr. Astera here has some ideas that might help us against Salem."

We both flinch and he sighs. "So he knows?" He looks at me wearily. "I'm listening."

"W-well, I thought that having a thief working for us might be a good idea."

"No."

"Let him finish, James." Ozpin says exasperatedly.

He glares at Ozpin but gestures for me to go on.

I take a calming breath. "A connection to the criminal underworld will give us information about illegal happenings in the city. Drug circles, gang hideouts, kingpins, and maybe even White Fang bases."

"I could send a solider undercover, then. A way less risky move."

"It won't be as effective." I shake my head. "Roman Torchwick is known and feared by other criminals across Vale. Having him work under us will be extremely beneficial to our cause."

His glare lessens as he sees reason. "What makes you think he'll do it willingly? He might turn his back on us the moment we look away."

I smirk. "Roman Torchwick only cares about two things." I say. "His life, and his partner's."

His eyes widen in realization. "You plan on threatening him..."

"No." My smirk widens. "I already did." I reveal, making his brows shoot up. "He tried to interrogate me, and I turned it on him. He was this close to saying yes."

He stays quiet for a few moments before groaning and rubbing his face. "I can't believe I'm doing this. Very well, I'll give you permission to do so."

Yessss!

"Follow me, we're going right now."

I sit on the chair in front of Roman, only the table is between us. "Yo!"

He doesn't answer.

"How the tables have turned, huh?"

He rolls his eyes. "What do you want?"

"I'll keep this short." I lean in closer and activate my poker face. "Your answer?"

"...Do you have a pen and paper?"

I stare in confusion, despite my blank face. "I... Do actually."

I pull out the requested objects from my inventory and hand it to him.

Why do I have pens and papers in my inventory? I have no idea.

He quickly writes down something and hands them back to me. "When you see my partner, ask her what happened on her 15th birthday and give her this."

'We're changing sides' and a signature was written on the paper. "That's it?"

He smirks. "What, you thought we have some super secret code that only we know?"

"Well, no, but I expected something more." I fold the paper and put it in my infinite pocket dimension. "What happened on her 15th birthday."

"You don't need to know." He says immediately

"Okay, now I'm even more curious."

"Are you two done?" James asks through the speaker.

"Yes." I reply. I look at Roman one more time, losing my blankness and giving him a warm smile. "I'm relived you accepted, Roman."

I turn my head and walk towards the door.

"Welcome to the winning team."

And BAM! A new chaps for y'all! I know nothing much happened but this is just the aftermath. I promise that the next one will be action packed! So stay tuned.

Am I seeing this right? *Rubs eyes* 500 follows! Whoop!

I have an announcement to make! I might start two new stories! yes, that's right. And not a gamer this time.

The first one is a crossover between DBZ and Konosuba, where our lovable two Saiyans accidentally kill each other and are sent to Eris by a very tired and pissed off King Yemma. Both Goku and Vegeta will be extremely nerfed so they can fit in the story. I mean no Super Saiyans (Not too early at least) and no ki attacks that can destroy planets. They will be joining Kazuma and his group of misfits too.

The next one is also a crossover, but it's either Re:zero/JJBA staring Josuke (Part 4), OR Re:zero/Skyrim staring the Dovahkin. Subaru is still present in both stories. Both Josuke and Dovahkin won't notice the time loops happening every time Subaru dies, to make it a bit more dramatic. What's better? JJBA or Skyrim?

What do you think I should start first?

Also, I'm changing this to RWBY x Anime x-overs because of all the other things from other worlds I might add.

Reviews:

xtremer: I haven't watched Kamen Rider, but I did read who Oma-Zio is. Pretty damn strong, not gonna lie. But I doubt he's stronger than The One Above All. And No one is stronger than ?

Giltlawyer9000: I really need to re-read the original Gamer comic. It's been so long. Also, you have no idea on how much you're helping me with those skills. I have watched a lot of animes (over 80) and I can't for the life of me remember anything. So keep em coming bro.

Nevermourned: Go for it! It's not really a problem for me if you use it. Hell, It's the opposite! It's nice to know that I helped someone out. And I'll be looking forward for the story when you do write it.

Guest: He's nerfing himself, not me.

Guest: I have noticed these glaring mistakes when you pointed it out, so please don't apologize. You have posted a polite constructive criticism, and I am all too happy to hear it. It's funny, because when I read the review, I had a much better idea on what to do with the breach, but I guess I got too excited and posted it without thinking.

I think I forgot to explain this, but the better the rewards for the bonus objectives, the harder it is. Besides, he could've gotten the bonus if he used all his aura on one punch to knock out/kill Roman, then used shadow step to knock out/kill every other person there. Bam! finished. Instead, he decided to talk to Roman. Though, I guess your way of going much earlier works too.

ProfessorGoblitz: ehhhhh, I don't know man. I don't think Pre-battle of fairy tail Natsu can survive unlimited blade works. Besides, bigger explosions / stronger. Unless we talking DBZ. I just thought of this out to explain the system better, but every star has a... level of sorts. Low, mid, high. Natsu is high-level 1 star while stain is low-level one star.

Guest: Ha! You wish! But no, it's not him

It's an OC related to the Arc I once talked about.

Everyone: *Excitedly talks about how Reid is gonna kill Cinder*

Me: *laughs nervously*

Welp, That's it for today. Don't forget to drop a review. I really like reading your thoughts about my story.
