Friday finally arrived with the rest of the week being uneventful. Quil and the boys chased down a few vampires, making them more busier then usual. Charlie worked the Tuesday to Thursday night shift so Denny was on Kim duty. He had showed her how to make better clothing choices and how to apply light makeup to highlight her features. Nick and Mick showed her how to work things around the apartment like the stove that would cut out randomly or the microwave that would spark every now and again. They all laid down basic ground rules about life around there on campus. Such as lock the balcony door at night, don't talk to the girl in apartment 404 because she'll drop her kids off with you whenever she feels like it, and if there's a sock on any door in the apartment that means don't come in. Kim also learned that Charlie and the twins bickered all the time, not like hate wise just like a sibling wise. Kim learned that Charlie had had grown up in the foster care system, she had been bounced around more times then she could remember. Friday night Quil and Jared had both managed to get the night off again plus Saturday night. Sunday night they'd have to be back by 10pm for the night shift which they both didn't argue with. They were getting a lot of leave way here.
"Any plans for you and Jared tonight?" Charlie asked Friday afternoon when she pulled pizza out the oven for them. Their classes started Monday finally and Kim was more nervous then before. The boys were still in school and Jared along with Quil wouldn't get there until 5 that night.
"No, no, probably just going to hang around the apartment. Maybe go for food around here," Kim wasn't sure what there was to do here yet. Charlie showed her the campus, the buildings, the restaurants and the shops around in walking distance.
"Well we are all going back to the annual 'going back to school' party at Alpha Kai tonight. You all want to come to that?" Charlie really wanted to show Kim the party life around here. She knew tomorrow night they'd go to the bonfire in La Push but for tonight she wanted to see Kim get out of her shell.
"The boys can come?" Kim asked hesitantly, she knew if the boys went then both of them would be protected.
"Of course. Denny always meets a guy at these things and the twins run all the supplies so company will be nice," Charlie left out the part how she always dominates the beer pong table or the dance floor.
"Yeah, we'll come," Kim made an executive decision about going before asking Jared. Charlie handed her a plate with some slices on it.
"Great. It's already 3 so I think around 6 we should start getting ready. We'll get there around 8 or 9 then," Charlie knew it took forever to get ready for these things. Kim had no idea what she just got herself into.
At 5pm on the dot Quil and Jared we're knocking on the apartment door. When they opened the door though they saw something they never thought they'd see. Charlie and the twins handcuffed together yelling at one another.
"Are you fucking kidding me? I need to get ready. I need to shower!" Charlie yelled at Denny who was in the kitchen laughing. Denny looked normal today compared to his other days. He wore jeans with a black hoodie and grey converse. His hair was still blue.
"Well if you guys didn't bicker all the damn time," Denny said back while dangling the cuff keys on the string. Kim was on the couch with an open book laughing. Jared didn't recognize the book as hers so figured it was Charlie's.
"Dude! We need to go!" The twins shouted at the same time. They needed to hit up dealers and stores to get all the things they would need for tonight's party.
"Not my problem," Denny said before putting his water glass in the sink.
"Charlie just apologize!" Nick yelled exasperated. They had only been cuffed for ten minutes but it felt like forever.
"For what? You being a dumbass? That's your own fault," Charlie responded and yanked her arm so the twins would stumble.
"It's not my fault you left the bag there," Mick was talking about her drug bag and how Nick accidentally knocked her weed container into the toilet. They knew they could replace it but Charlie was still mad.
"Do you know how expensive that weed was! It was medical grade," Charlie yanked her arm again making the boys stumble once more.
"I'll get you more," Mick told her in a desperate tone. This party would secure their rent for the next two months but they needed to leave now to do so. While the twins argued about buying her more weed though Charlie was working on pulling her small wrist through the handcuffs. after a solid thirty seconds she had freed herself and walked down the hallway, leaving the twins in cuffs still. Charlie had been in cuffs before with the police so now on her record it tells them to use zip ties, she hasn't figured those out yet.
"Boys, boys, buy her more and just go," Denny tossed them the key. He got his kicks for the day.
"Jared!" Kim squealed from the couch when she finally noticed the shocked boys by the door. She got up and ran over to him giving him a big hug in which it was returned.
"Welcome back boys," Denny smiled at them before heading down the hallway himself.
"We're going to a party," Kim formed them while looking at their plain blue jeans and black shirts with flannels on top. They looked as best as they would for this.
"Kim, I'm going to shower and then you. Then it's outfit, makeup then hair," Charlie informed her of the plan as she placed a hand on Quils shoulder acknowledging him. Both of their body has shocks go through their body. Charlie showered quickly and when she wrapped the towel around her body she yelled for Kim who was cuddling with Jared on the couch. Quil took a deep breath and could smell Charlie's rose body wash.
"Boys, help me," Denny yelled from down the hallway. Quil and Jared eyes each other before finally getting up and going to see what was wrong. When they walked into Denny's room they saw him trying to zip up a black and gold lacy shirt. The gold looked stunning on him.
"I can't get this thing zipped! My arms can't reach the last bit," Denny was just about out of breath. He loved this shirt though and was hoping to get a date tonight that was in his film class. Quil went ahead and walked over to finish the zip job. Denny turned around and smoothed the shirt out.
"Well, good look? Or should I go for this one instead?" Denny held up a white flowery blouse with a corset on it.
"I like the one you have on," Jared answered in which Quil nodded in agreement. They both heard the shower cut off again which meant Kim was done. Charlie and Kim had then shut themselves in their room to get dressed.
"Jared you ever see your girl look slutty?" Denny said with a smile.
"Um, no?" Jared wasn't sure what Denny meant by that question. Was Charlie dressing Kim tonight? Were they going to dress in so little? What was about to happen? Denny motioned for the bed to the boys tos it while he finished getting ready and waited on the girls. Denny put on some pop music and sat in front of his desk to pull out a mirror and a box of makeup. He turned on a ring light and started doing his eyebrows, eyeliner, mascara, and glitter. He put two stick on diamonds beside the point where his eyes ended.
"Denny, we're doing shots!" They all heard Charlie yell from the kitchen. Denny stood up and grabbed gold colored boots to make his shirt and they exited the room. Quil and Jared were nervous. What were they about to walk in to?
When the boys made it to the kitchen they saw Kim wearing a knee length black dress that hugged her curves but kept her modest since it was a short v-neck on top. She had on a few dangly necklaces and a pair of black booties but other then that her outfit was simple and clean. Her hair was pulled up into a high ponytail with curls cascading down it. She had a sunset eyeshadow look along with winged eyeliner and fake lashes. She also had fake diamonds on the end points of her eyes. She had a nude lip and damn, was she beautiful. Jared tried to keep his mouth from dropping and his dick from popping. She looked incredible. Like a real college girl.
Charlie on the other hand wore a black velvet halter top with black jeans that had silver spikes going down the sides. She had Quils flannel wrapped around her waist and was wearing a set of black booties. She had her hair in two fishtails. Charlie wore a emerald green eyeshow with black and silver mixed in to it along with winged liner and lashes. She had two diamonds placed above her eyebrows and two diamonds below her eyes. She had on a navy lip, it almost looked black. She looked wild but beautiful.
"Shots!" She poured five shot glasses and handed them out.
"To new friends!" Charlie shouted.
"To another chance at love!" Denny shouted.
"To my love!" Jared exclaimed.
"To my new and old life mixing!" Kim smiled wide.
"To Charlie...and Denny!" Quil yelled out.
