"You have a lot of explaining to do Auron," Thalia yelled loudly. "Well, so do you," Auron retorted back. "What are you going on about?" She asked him confused. Then it hit her, the footsteps she heard, belonged to Auron. "Oh, that was you sneaking around and here I thought it was a spy!"
Why that woman, who does she think she is? Auron thought and what a hypocrite she was scolding him while she was dallying around with her guard. He would have to compromise with her because he knew she didn't want to get married either and knew she was in love with the human.
"Okay, so we're both guilty of loving someone else," He said and Thalia nodded her head in agreeance. "So, I came up with a plan if you help Theosore's escape, I'll convince my father that the wedding should be canceled. Agreed?" She thought for a moment about what he said then looked over at him, exhaled and said, "Okay." He looked at her and said, "Thank you." Then hugged her.
Thalia was hesitant at first in helping Theosore escape but also didn't want to go through with the marriage to Auron. So when she caught him and the Night Elf together, she was relieved. She loved Erich so much and knew the struggles Auron was going through. Their fathers had been friends since they were young but it was later she learned, that they were in fact lovers and only three-years-ago, after her mother's passing, did their affair end. Although her father remarried, he still kept his promise to Lord Bloodwin but she wondered if Auron knew about their fathers' relationship.
"Okay, so here's the plan. There's a secret passage on the floor below us and it requires a key. Since I have the key on me, I'm able to open it but the tricky part is sneaking past the guards. Somehow we have to distract them and that's where you come in Thalia." She glared at Auron and asked, "How am I supposed to distract them?' And he replied, "With your beauty of course." This got Erich's attention.
After they slipped Theosore out of the cell, they quietly closed the gate behind them and quickly proceeded to the bottom floor. Once they reached the bottom floor, they walked quickly over to the door and were about to open it when they heard someone from behind them shout, "Auron, Thalia, where are you going in such a hurry?!" They both then slowly turned around and were greeted by their fathers' angry gazes.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Their fathers asked in unison.
