Chapter 14: Ash vs. Max begins!
Ash slowly walked towards the pokemon center to see Clemont, Max and Bonnie sitting down on the couch on the left side, as soon as he entered Ash soon felt like a pin cushion as he was being hugged by the girls. Ash felt as if he was just crushed by a train. "you're really hurting me." Ash said trying to catch his breath, the girls noticed and quickly let go of Ash.
"sorry," they said in unison
"still Ash what happened?" Hilda asked
"yeah, this person came running in with pikachu saying you were hurt." May said worriedly
"he said you lost control of yourself and became a different person. And you attacked him Ash." Serena said hoping her love isn't losing himself because of the incident. It would destroy her since it might be the cause of him being like this is because of her own selfishness of trying to save him.
"you attacked Ritchie and your best friend Ash, if it wasn't for mew or latias we don't know what would happen." Cynthia said as she was holding mew petting her trying to calm her.
"yeah Ash are you telling us everything that happened to you or been happening to you, because we want to know that our boyfriend is doing ok." Dawn said as you could see Ritchie in the background hear this and couldn't take anymore as he fell to the ground and passed out because of being too much in shock that happened. But everyone ignored him as they focused on Ash.
Pikachu jumped off his shoulder felt sorry for Ritchie but he wasn't his problem so he gave Ritchie a thumbs up saying everything will make sense sooner or later as pikachu ran and hopped back onto Ash's shoulder.
Latias appeared from her camouflage, 'Ash I know we've been through a lot but please tell us what's going on Ash?'
Ash stood there for a minute, "I wish I could tell you guys but I don't know what's been happening to me." he said partially lying to them it pained his heart to try to keep the secret but he couldn't worry the girls. The girls were staring at Ash, they feel like he's lying but they knew Ash wouldn't lie to them or at least they hoped not. "I'm really sorry I troubled you guys. Especially you girls." he said as he walked up and gave them a small kiss. " I know you girls are worried about me, but trust me I'm fine okay." he said sweetly
May, Dawn, and Serena nodded understanding but Hilda and Cynthia still had their suspicion over his words but accepted his apologies and decide to worry about it later on. "alright Ash we get it, but do you know who you are going against right?" Clemont asked knowing for certain that he didn't and when he got a nod all he could do was sigh, "You start in about 30 minutes and your opponent is someone you know." Clemont said which made Ash raises a brow wanting to know.
"who is it?" Ash asked
"its me" Ash turned around to see it was Max standing in front of him pushing the tip of his glasses forward.
Ash smiled enthusiastically,"well the time has finally come Max, I finally get to see how strong you've become." as pikachu gave a pikachu saying he's really excited to see how the battle goes.
"oh I'm going to win it, me and my Pokemon have trained really hard and we are not going to let anyone stand in our way to win." Max said with confidence
"well don't let it get to your head little brother because this is Ash we are talking about." May said which hurt Max a little as he felt a ton of rocks just piled up on him.
"well yeah I know, I've traveled with him before and know how he can get." Max argued
"well I've also traveled with him later on and saw some new techniques he made up battling strong gym leaders." Dawn said which made him lose more enthusiasm into the battle. Ash just scratched his head seeing the people he loves argue with each other about how good he is but his thoughts were opposite.
"so I've seen Ash battle my dad in an awesome battle and seen him battle against a legendary pokemon, so I know what I'm up against." Max argued with Dawn as he tried to win this verbal fight.
"so we've also seen Ash battling beside legendaries, and succeeding in defeating the enemies or helping them." Serena said which made Max realize that Ash has a legendary mew and how strong he's become since he had last traveled with him. Max stared at Ash and knew he was a tough opponent but could he do it.
"Don't let them get to you Max." Max turned to see Bonnie putting her hand on his shoulder giving him a smile. "it's true Ash has more experience than you and also been through a lot of those. But you've also lived through it with Ash. You've been training really hard trying to make to make it this far. Show them how much stronger you've become." Bonnie encouraged which made Max really happy. Max came up close to Bonnie and hugged her. Bonnie got caught by surprise when she felt him embrace her.
"thank you Bonnie, you really are an amazing friend." Max said with his confidence boosted, Max couldn't see it but Bonnie was blushing madly as she felt her crush hug her for the first time. Max let go of Bonnie leaving her in a daze and turned to Ash, "alright Ash, when we meet on the battlefield don't hold back because I'm going to give it everything I got."
"I won't Max, you can count on it. Show me what you got." Ash said as he placed his hand out as they shook hands. Max left going to prepare his team, Bonnie was dazed at what had just happened that she was lost in her own little world. Clemont waved his hand in front of her to see if she was okay but got no response.
Clemont turned to Ash and the girls, "me and Bonnie are going to grab seats for us so we'll see you later." He said as he picked her up but her body didn't even move like she was just a statue as they left.
Ash turned to the girls."Did you really have to say all that stuff?"
"Well we wanted to get his head straight and not think irrationally and be overconfident in the match because he got it to the preliminary." Dawn said
"I want my brother to show you how far he's become and if he gets his confidence destroyed that easily then how will he react in battle." May said making Ash understand their reasoning. "he got to the semi-finals in the Hoenn region and lost so he was a little disheartened when he lost and I wanted to make sure he didn't let that get to him."
"it's really frustrating indeed when I lost in the 3rd round before I could of made it to the semifinals and I was really mad that I wasn't strong enough to make it. So I took a break instead of entering into Lumiose conference." Hilda said
"I know it sounds rough to him but I want him to have the motivation to not back down from a challenge since it would be bad if he doesn't listen to himself and have second doubts about it." Serena said
Ash smiled at them, they really do know how to make things interesting when trying to make him have more control of himself in battle. Suddenly Ritchie arose from unconsciousness, ran up to Ash and grab a hold of Ash and started shaking him furiously. Ash started to get dizzy from Ritchie that he felt his neck would get snapped off. "what's going on Ritchie, why are you shaking me."
"I thought you told me that you were dating the Sinnoh champion Cynthia, you never told me about this?" Ritchie asked as he saw the 5 girls including Cynthia standing behind him. They were really beautiful and he wanted to know how he could get one as beautiful as them.
Latias could only shake it's head dismay to think an old friend can get so jealous on seeing multiple girls be with one guys. 'Ash I hope your going to be able to handle this situation every time people keep asking you how you got to this point'. Ash became confused to why latias would say that and when he asked why she just said nothing.
"well I never thought about it, besides what you expect me to say 'Hey Ritchie you might know this but I have 4 other girlfriends.' I mean come on it's only been a day since we became official with each other." Ash explained to Ritche hoping he would stop shaking him, Ash couldn't believe it, he just recently got into a relationship with them. Ritchie didn't know what to think that a friend he knew who was so clueless with Misty but still earned the hearts of other girls. Sparky looked at pikachu with disbelief but pikachu just smirked and grinned. Wait if Ash had multiple one's then does that mean pikachu has multiple one's as well.
"pika pi pikachu pi pi pika?" 'Hey pikachu don't tell me also have multiple one's as well?' Sparky asked, pikachu didn't say anything as he just winked at Sparky showing him that Ash wasn't the only one who can earn multiple hearts of others.
Ritchie and Sparky didn't know what to say, I mean when they look at them closely to see how much they changed. They don't look like they used to be back when they first met. They're more confident and skilled when they battled, and they thought that he was just like them when they started their journey but now they are in a farther league now.
"Hey Ash can you tell me how come you gotten so strong?'" Ritchie asked which peaked the girls interest as they heard Ritchie talk about their lover.
Ash looked at Ritchie with a confused look, "I honestly don't think I'm that strong, I just tried my best and traveled a lot to achieve my dream." Ash explained as he never thought he was close enough to being strong. That's why he practiced all day every day. Making sure that he was able to surpass himself so he can finally achieve it. Which made May, Dawn, Serena, Hilda, and Cynthia smile about how humble he is and was glad that someone acknowledged his strong point that they saw.
"I don't know how I can explain it but when I see you now and then I see how much a difference you had surpassed in battling with new techniques and strategy. Like when you battled Paul, how strong lucario was when he battled and how at the end how pikachu became so powerful that I could feel the energy he gave off when he battled. The person I see now is so different." Ritchie told Ash which made him surprised at what he told him. Ash thought for a minute as he stared at the ground thinking about what he meant. Looking through all of his previous battles weren't easy and was extremely difficult for him to get to this point. He never once thought he was even a mere inch to being a strong trainer but he knows he needs more experience to go farther up the chain.
"well how lucario and pikachu battle went was a very difficult battle that I had to keep thinking about what's going to happen next or what should I do next. After losing tournament after tournament I just kept trying, thinking one day I would finally be able to accomplish what I've started and set out to do. I hope this time I finally be able to be one step closer to my goal." Ash said
"Well you aren't wrong about that but you aren't right about it either Ash. Can you tell me who was able to do what your lucario just did?" Cynthia asked as Ash turned to her stumped as he didn't know anyone that could be close to matching lucario's speed. How lucario was so fit for combat like his and Ash's aura were linked as he was able to do what he wanted lucario to do.
"Well I'm not so sure about that, I think lucario was strong before I first caught him. I barely spent my time training him, he didn't need my help." Ash said
'that isn't true master.'
Ash became shocked that he heard lucario's voice. 'why would you think that lucario, you know this to be true. And please lucario we are friends don't call me master.' Ash said in his mind
'But that's because I trusted your judgement master, your words guided me through battle which caused me both victory. Without out your orders I wouldn't have continued on with the battle.'
Ash couldn't help but smile to think that lucario would trust him with his battle tactics which got some confused looks from the girls and Ritchie. "oh sorry, lucario just told me that he also agreed with what you said Cynthia."
"Really I'm glad he did but I don't see lucario, where is he?" Cynthia asked
Ash looked at them to realize only he could he hear them. "sorry about that I forgot that lucario and I can only talk to each other." Which made them kind of confused which made Ash look at them like they forgot what he can do. "I'm hoping you didn't forget that I have something a bit more special?" it took them a little while to remember that he knows how to use aura. "So it's much easier for me and lucario to talk to each other telepathically with him in his ball."
"Really, why didn't use it In your battles?" Hilda asked
"I'm more accustomed to talking with them, and I haven't really tried to test out my aura with lucario." Ash explained that to them which made it more understandable with how it works with him.
"Are you going to use lucario when you battle against Max?" May asked
"No, I was planning on using some of my other pokemons some that Max has yet to see." Ash said as he made up his mind on what he should use.
"Really well I can't wait to see the battle between you two, but I'm not sure if I should be choosing between which one is going to win." Dawn said with the others understanding why because it was hard choosing between the two people you know a lot.
"Well I rather have Ash win, I love my little brother but he kept messing with me especially when I wanted to get Ash to like me. Annoying little brat always likes to mess with me, so please sweetie murder his ass." May said as she kind of had a little bit of an evil smile that made the others worried about her.
"Okay, I'll do my best." Ash said but it wasn't enough to make May happy, she really want him to destroy Max. Sometimes Ash wished he had that way again with his brother but nothing wasn't going to change what he had done to make him suffer. Ash smiled at May, "I'll do my best May but I'm not going to do that. He's been training while I was out for that much so he has an advantage over me. But at least look forward to what happens after my match." which he instantly regret.
"Yeah, I'm going to show you a good time with what I have in store for you." May said as her eyes sparkled with glee as she clasped her hands dreaming of their time together. Cynthia, Dawn, Serena, and Hilda hid their joy of being able to be with him, Ash didn't know that they planned on spending some time alone together with him then meeting together for the special one. They made sure to make plan everything out to make the day special for them.
Ash gave them a weary smile as he didn't know if they were going to torture him or doing things that are going to be the death of him. Ash turned towards to Ritchie and gave him the look is this really the things you want to deal with. It's bad enough dealing with one girl is already hard enough but with a total of 5 girls is a catastrophe waiting to happen. But Ritchie didn't see what he saw, Ritchie was lost in his own world when he saw Ritchie giving him a goofy grin. Lord knows what he's thinking about, "pikachu please give our old pal a reality shock, give him a good thunderbolt."
pikachu gave Ash a salute as he turned making a devious smile as he ran up and jumped on Ritchie's other shoulder. Ritchie was so lost in his fantasy that he didn't feel pikachu even jump on his shoulder. Sparky looked at pikachu with a questionable look. Pikachu soon told him to come closer which intrigued him. Sparky leaned closer expecting to hear something but all he got was smacked on the head as he lost his balance. Falling to the ground earning a "PIKA" which snapped Ritchie back to reality as he looked to see his pikachu on the ground. "Sparky what happened?" he asked but soon felt a tap on the shoulder to turning to see pikachu giving him a great big smile as his cheeks started to spark. Which made Ritchie sweat dropped as he tried figure out what he did wrong as he turned to Ash to see him wave. He connected two and two to know that he was going to be the cause of this. He said something to Ash before he was gets barbecued,"you fucking bastard." Then felt his whole body being electrified by pikachu.
pikachu soon jumped off as Ritchie fell to the ground puffing out some smoke. Ash was on the ground laughing so hard that he couldn't keep himself calm. But some of the girls on the other hand didn't think it was funny.
"Why did you do something like that, Ash. That's not a nice thing to do." Serena said as she felt sorry for Ritchie and she wanted to help but she didn't want to get herself shocked.
"Well, no but it's good to see that it's not me this time to feel pikachu's thunderbolt." Ash said as he was close to calming himself.
"Well it doesn't mean you should go and try to do that to other people just because you felt like doing this type of thing, Ash." Cynthia said while she looked at Ritchie checking to see if he was fine. He was at least breathing which was all that mattered to her. "Next time Ashy don't use pikachu do these types of things. I don't want things to backfire on you." with the other girls agreeing with her.
Ash sighed as decided to follow their words, "OK, next time I'll give him something else as a wake up call."
"Alright, that's all I ask for, anyways I'm going first to go meet up with the rest of the champions." Cynthia said as she walked up to Ash and gave him a quick peck on the lips and smiled at him, "I wish you good luck in your battle, I don't really know Max but I'll cheer for him as well. And you girls already know to watch out for him" Cynthia then gave the rest of her sisters a loving hug before she left.
"You know we will Cynthia, take care and we'll see you after the match." Hilda said to her
"Just make sure to be safe, you may be a champion but I still can't help but worry about you." Dawn
"I will. You as well." she said as left.
"pikachu" 'Hey Ash'
Ash looked forward to see Ritchie's pikachu 1 foot away from him. With his cheeks sparking as well. Ash sighed as he mentally cursed himself. "Alright let's get this over with." not even a second after he finished his sentence as he felt sparky's full power thunderbolt. Soon Ash dropped to the ground extra crispy.
"pikachu pika pi pikachu" 'that's what you get for hurting Ritchie.'
The girls surround him with a worried expression, "you should've seen that coming" Hilda said with a sigh with the other girls agreeing with her.
"I know but it's not every often Pikachu hits someone else instead of me." Ash said as he got up feeling a lot of pain ran through his body. "But next time I'm going to be ready." As he stared at sparky with determination. But sparky just showed him the middle finger. Ash was surprised his Pikachu never did that to him but when looked at Pikachu who was just smirking. He started having second thoughts if his Pikachu was actually innocent.
"Why can't you just let this go he just a Pikachu." Dawn said as he picked up sparky and started cuddling it. Sparky who smiled at Ash with an innocent smile.
"Pikachu." 'Dumb ass'
"See Ash he said he was sorry." Dawn said with a smile as sparky started showing Dawn a little affection.
Ash looked at sparky with a knowing look, he may not understand sparky like Ritchie but the look just says it all. He mouthed 'suck up little bitch' to sparky as he just stuck his tongue out.
"Come on Ash you don't want to be late to your battle." May said
"Yeah, I'm really excited to see how your battle goes." Hilda said
"Pikachu pi pika pi"'just don't suck Ash, that's all I have to say.'
Ash just sighed why does his best friend just believe in him. As Hilda and May dragged Ash to the stadium. Left in back was Ritchie who was still left unconscious on the ground.
As Ash and Max headed out to the field on opposite side eager to see what they had in store for each other. "I hope your ready Max because this a match you'll never forget." Ash said with a smile
Max also stared at Ash with the same excited passion as Ash, "let's do this Ash. I've been waiting a long time for this."
Ash was on the red side while Max was on the green side as the referee stood in the middle as he raised both flags. "This is a six on six battle and the winner is determined when all six on one side is out or if one of the trainers forfeit the match. As the referee explained the battle as he flipped a coin to determine who goes first. The referee pointed Ash, "trainers send out your first Pokémon."
In the stand
"Wow the whole crowd looks so eager to see the battle. " Bonnie said as she could hear the crowd cheering like crazy.
"Yeah I guess because it's the semifinal. Because it only happens every often and they want to see the outcome." Clemont
"Also its because of what happened with Ash match before it was an amazing battle so they're expecting another one." Hilda said
"Well they're going to get it, especially since it's my brother and Ash. With his experience with Ash he can almost unpredictable as he can." May said
"Oh I'm so excited to see what happens. I wonder what kind of Pokémon they're going to be using." Serena said
"Well with the amount of time Ash was speaking to I say it might be one of the best matches we're going to see." Dawn said
Other side with all the other champions
All the elite champions were sitting down discussing who was going to win this match.
"I'm betting it's Max." Steven said. "A young boy who did great in the Hoenn league.
"I think it's also Max, like look at the kids fiery spirit. Look at his determination that says he's not going to lose." Alder said
" Well Look at Ash doesn't seem like he's backing down either and besides he has more experience than Max does." Lance said
"Please the only reason you choosing Ash is because he was born in the Kanto region." Steven said
"Wow and you're not also going for Max because he originated from Hoenn did you." Lance fired back and not one word came from Steven mouth
"Well we know Alder, Steven, and Lance choose but what about you Cynthia?" Diantha asked
Cynthia was lost in her thoughts as she was hoping nothing else happens in the tournament that will give her love so much more pain to bare. And she didn't want anything like that to happen again. But with all the elites are here everything should be fine. But some stuff you can't avoid or expect things to go right all the time.
"Cynthia?"
Her mind snapped back to reality as she stared at the rest who had a worried expression in their eyes. "I'm so sorry, just lost in thought. And for my choice on who is going to win well I think it could be either. They both show the same promise as they entered the tournament.
"Are you alright Cynthia, this is the first time we have seen you like this?" Diantha asked
Cynthia gave them a fake smile, " No need to worry it's nothing."
"alright if you say so."
Cynthia stared back at the match closely to see if anything suspicious might occur. 'I hope this goes well.'
Back at the stage
Ash grabbed a pokeball as he tapped the middle expanding it never leaving contact from Max. "Alright I want you to meet someone new, I choose you!" Ash yelled as he threw the ball and it opened releasing a red light materializing something small. "Snivy" as one of the Unova starters appeared.
Max looked at it with excitement, "oh wow that's the first one I've ever seen." Max tried to search it up but it said no data. "Dang so I'm at a disadvantage since I don't know nothing about snivy. But that's not going to stop me." Max grabbed his pokeball and his toss it as he sent out was. "Let's go vigoroth." As the wild monkey appeared from his ball beating on his chest showing he's raring to go.
"Alright let's start things off, snivy use vine whip." Ash yelled out as vines appeared from snivy as she smacked at vigoroth.
"Counter with slash." Max ordered as vigoroth was jumping back with both its claws glowed white smacking the vines away. "Alright vigoroth use flamethrower." Vigoroth took a big puff as its mouth opened unleashing a flame towards snivy.
"Snivy dodge it and use leaf storm." Snivy jumped out of the way as leafs started to surround snivy as it kept getting bigger until it became a tornado and it went towards vigoroth with full force.
"Vigoroth brace yourself and use reversal." Vigoroth stayed in place as it put its two arms together making an x glowing red as it was hit by leafstorm. Then all of a sudden as soon as it was hit it turned around and hit snivy dealing more amount of power than it was originally. "Now use hammer arm." Vigoroth arms glowed as it ran towards the grass snake striking it with a clothesline to the neck sending snivy flying.
Snivy braced herself as her body slid a few feet, "Snivy can you still fight?" Ash asked as she turned giving a nod as she readied herself for the next command. Ash smiled as he was starting to get excited, "alright let's keep this up a notch, use vine whip to get in close then use leaf blade." Snivy jumped as she used the vines to grab the ground to launch herself towards vigoroth as it spun forward with its tail glowing green.
"Intercept it with slash." Max said as he tried to figure out Ash plan. Vigoroth ran as its claws glowed it smashed it to the ground to plunged itself towards snivy thrusting it's claw at snivy as they collided. "Snivy use vine whip and grab vigoroth." snivy used its vine and wrapped it around vigoroth waist and used all of her might as she did a front flip and slammed its body to the ground. "Now use with leaf storm." Ash said as he hoped this idea worked as a tornado wrapped around snivy and Vigoroth, "use leaf blade to end this." Snivy used her vines and threw Vigoroth towards the leaves and smacked against it started getting hit hard to start ricochet towards one side to the other as it rose to the top as snivy appears above Vigoroth as it slammed its tail at the stomach sending it crashing towards the ground.
Max gritted his teeth as he knew if he didn't do something Ash will have the upper hand. He hoped this work, "come on Vigoroth please I want you to use flamethrower." Vigoroth who was being sent to the ground half passed out heard his trainer pleading to him. He knew he didn't have the strength but didn't want to disappoint his trainer as he used all its might and opened its mouth unleashing a flamethrower towards the sky sending itself faster to the ground. Snivy was soon hit with the flamethrower as it fell to the ground unconscious. As to a few feet away Vigoroth body had carved the ground with swirls in his eyes.
"Both sides are unable to battle. Red and Green sides send out your next pokemon." Said the ref
Ash looked shocked to see snivy had fainted, he sighed man this is going to be tough as he returned snivy back to her ball. " take a good rest snivy thank for your hard work." He stared towards Max with a smile as he was also returning Vigoroth. "Wow Max you sure gave me an exciting match."
Max smirked as he stared at Ash, "yeah these years we've been apart I made sure to train and trust them. So I'm not going to be an easy opponent. It's going to even harder now."
Ash couldn't help but get even more excited to see what Max had up his sleeve. "Alright let's see what you got." Ash reached for his secondary Pokémon as he threw his pokeball to summon the single horned Pokémon. "Alright let's do this heracross."
Max smirked, "we may have tied last round but not this time, come on out mightyena." As the bite Pokémon appeared from his ball ready to battle "let's start off mightyena use crunch. Mightyena swiftly took off as it charged towards heracross.
"Heracross dodge it and then use focus punch." Mightyena jumped as his teeth glowed white. Heracross jumped to the left as its arm glowed bright lunging it towards mightyena.
"Quick mightyena use double team." As soon as heracross made contact with mightyena it had disappeared. Soon mightyena had multiplied by a lot, heracross couldn't tell which one it was. Max smirked, "we've been practicing a lot so that we could master it. I'm so happy we could finally pull this off." Heracross couldn't tell which one as a mightyena kept jumping towards and hitting to turn into nothing. Heracross was soon getting tired as its movement slowed down a bit. "Alright mightyena use fire fang." Soon all the decoys disappeared as it appeared behind Heracross biting onto its arm. Causing heracross to grunt in pain.
Ash looked bewildered knowing there aren't many moves he could use to help heracross."Heracross shake it off." But it was no use, mightyena had a good grip. "Alright use it to your advantage slam it to the ground. " it soon slammed its arm to the ground as mightyena lost its grip from the bite. "Alright use focus punch." Heracross other arm glowed bright as it went towards mightyena.
"Quick mightyena roll out of the way." Mightyena swiftly turned its body to the right as the arm hits the ground. It soon got back on all four as it slid back a good distance away from heracross. "Mightyena use take down." Soon ran at heracross as a white light appeared from behind mightyena as it lunged itself towards heracross.
Heracross tried to move out of the way but it's hand got stuck to the ground. It soon took a huge impact from mightyena. Mightyena was told to do it again as it ran towards heracross when mightyena got close . "Heracross use mega horn." Heracross horn glowed bright as it hit mightyena launching it into the air. "Heracross let's use hyper beam." Heracross opened its mouth as a red and white beam was unleashed to the sky. But as soon as heracross unleashed the beam felt a sharp pain jolt from its arm from where mightyena bit making heracross lose its aim. The beam missed by centimeters from mightyena causing the beam to hit the ceiling.
This gave Max the chance to seize the win, "alright mightyena use take down then finish this with fire fang." Mightyena was sent to the ceiling and used the opportunity to bounce off the ceiling as it was sent dropping towards heracross who was trying to move but the hyper beam took a lot out of it. Mightyena soon came close to impact as it mouth flame up struck heracross body causing heracross to scream in agony as it yanked its arm from the ground. Shaking off mightyena from its body making it land a few feet away from it. Heracross arm glowed white as it turned around sent its arm towards mightyena. This shock Max to the point where he couldn't say anything and. Ash was wide eyed as his Pokémon still had fight left in him. Heracross struck mightyena as hard as it could sending mightyena sliding back grunting in pain.

"Mightyena use double team once more then use crunch." Mightyena started to appear all over the battlefield as mightyenas ran towards heracross. Heracross looked around confused with what to hit. As it started to flail around striking the mirror image of mightyenas that came at him. Making heracross more tired as burn struck its body making it drop to one knee panting heavily.
"Heracross calm down and focus on trying to find the real mightyena." As heracross looked around slowly as it used its senses to find mightyena. Soon it felt mightyena get close as heracross lowered its head then rising it quickly sending the real mightyena up to where it's in the line of sight mightyena. As it reeled it's arm back as it glowed then striking mightyena with all its strength. Sending it flying towards Max as it crashes to the ground landing a few inches away from Max with swirls in its eyes.
