Hey guys, guess who's back. Did you guys miss me, joking. So, I have finish my mid-terms exams. I'm pretty sure I did good, but I would have to wait until I get my results, so wish me luck.
Anyways, since I'm back I would start uploading more often now. And since I would be going on break for Christmas for TWO WHOLE WEEKS, remind you, I would have even more time to write the fic now.
I'm just going to finish off the MK9 Story Mode, and would start the Batman fic after I finish. And before anyone says anything. Yes, I would still do the fatalities and x-rays. I would also do the arcade endings as well. So until then.

Onyx looks around at everyone. Yang is looking and moving her new arm. "Well what do I do with this extra arm now." She said as she waved her robotic arm around. "Maybe we could use it as extra parts for your weapon." Ruby said. "Hmm, I guess we could. Or we could use it to prank people." Yang said with a grin.
"We are not going to scare people." Weiss said as she crossed her arms. "Come on, it would be hilarious to see people's reaction." Yang said. "No Yang it's not fun scaring people." Ruby said. "You only saying because you would get scared easily." Yang said.
"I do not." Ruby said. "Oh, yes you do." Yang said.
Ozpin meanwhile just looks at them and smile. Despises what has happen to them, they are still kids. "Something wrong, sir." Glynda asked. Ozpin turned to her. "It's nothing Glynda. Just a lot has happen in the pass few months and even in just a few days as well." Ozpin said. Glynda turns to the students. "As much as I don't want them to get involve, it kind of impossible right now not to let them."
"Nothing we could do now. Though I think our host is going to start again." Ozpin said. "Even though they seem nice, I don't trust these two brothers." Glynda said. "They haven't done anything to us, but Onyx on the other would do something." "Do you trust them?" Glynda asked. "Hard to say, after all he did give my body back." Ozpin thought back to when his own gods were killing him and bring him back. He shook his head. 'They are not like that, at least not yet.'
Ok so is everyone ready for the next part. Everyone stop and settle down. Then let's start.
The screen lit up and the light turned off.
CHAPTER 11: Kung Lao
"It's Kung Lao." "Let's see if he is actually good." "Hopefully, I mean Scorpion wipe the floor with him."
Kung Lao and Liu Kang make their way to the Tower. No one is present.
Kung Lao: I hope your girlfriend is worth Lord Raiden's anger, Liu Kang.
Liu Kang: Notice that I am ignoring you.
"Oh yeah they are good friends." Tai said. He remember times when him and Qrow would get into arguments and it would be over dumb things. "Definitely good friends." Sun said. Neptune nods.
They look around the Tower, but still find no one.
Kung Lao: Hmm... They must have relocated Kitana.
Just then, Sheeva opens the door to the Tower on one side. On the other side, a ninja who looks like a dark wraith opens them on the other side.
Noob: We have indeed. We knew someone would come for her.
"Whoa, who's that he looks badass." Mercury said. "He looks familiar, but I don't know from where." Blake said trying to figure it out.. "You notice that too, I wonder who it is." Jaune said thinking the same thing. "Who cares who he is, he looks cool." Yang said.
Liu Kang and Kung Lao nod to each other. While Kang begins fighting with Sheeva, Kung Lao faces down Noob Saibot.
Noob: May you join her in death!
Kung Lao starts by running at Noob. Lao then tries to hit Noob, but he blocks all of Lao's attacks. Noob then tries to side-sweep him. Only for Lao to jump. As that happen Lao then does a flying kick, which hits Noob in the face.
"That is a good start." Yang said. "We don't even know what the black ninja's fighting style is." Jaune said. "I guess we would find out." Qrow said taking a drink.
Noob gets up then throws his fist out. When that happen a shadow, or a dark figure, emerges from Noob's body. This is Saibot, Noob's second half. And start to run at Lao, being surprise by the shadow, he starts spinning and creates a small vortex. Saibot dissipates, Lao then looks at Noob, who then teleports in a black hole.
"He could create a shadow to fight. That's kind of cool, it's almost like my semblance." Sun said. "That looks like Blake's semblance too." Ruby said. Blake looks closer but shakes her head. "I do create shadows, but they are more of after-images then an actually solid figure. Plus mine only last for a few seconds." Blake said.
"And mine only works when I concentrate." Sun said. Well you guys would be right. But the shadow figure has a mind of it's own and a name it's Saibot. Together they make Noob Saibot. Onyx said. They were surprised that the shadow has a name and could think.
"Wait Noob? As in he is a Noob." Yang said trying hard not to laugh. Onyx sighs. Yes, his name is Noob, but he is actually a great fucking fighter.
Lao started looking around trying to find where he went. The ground suddenly opens up and Noob comes out, grabs Lao and flys upwards, going through multiple times before slamming Lao onto the ground.
"Ooooh." "That look like it hurt."
Lao gets up and throws his hat. As the hat was flying through the air, it starts spinning at a rapid pace. Noob then throws a black hole up. Which comes down from above, on top of Lao. Lao gets suck into it and lands in front of Noob. Which causes Lao's hat to hit him on the back.
"Oh damn." "What? That is so broken. He could just teleport others." Yang said. "So he could create shadows and teleport. Yeah, I could see how that is not fair." Qrow said.
Noob comes up and punch Lao's face twice, his shadows comes and uppercuts him, when Lao went into the air. Noob jumps up and punches him back down. Noob's shadow was on the ground, he was laying down and as Lao come down, Saibot kicks upwards, hitting Lao on his back.
"Damn. That is so badass." Mercury said impress. "He is very quick and efficient." Cinder said, if only someone like that exist on their world, they would be very helpful.
Saibot dissipates again, appearing next to Noob. Both stood and were going to finish him off. Lao suddenly jumps up and does a cartwheel hitting Noob over his head. As he did that he start spinning which create strong winds and launchers Noob into the air.
Lao grabs Noob and starts spinning with him and then slams him into the ground. As Noob bounce off the ground. Lao then uppercuts him. Noob flew up and falls on the ground. He just groans in pain.
"Oh Oum I was worried for a second there." Ruby said with a sigh of relief. "He came in clutch at the end there." Sun said. "Man, that is bullshit." Mercury said wanting to see Noob win. The other villains were disappointed as well.
The wraith is unlike anything Kung Lao has faced before, with his ability to conjure both dark magic and shadow clones of himself to fight with. Nonetheless, Kung Lao's fighting ability and mastery of the Shaolin arts sees him through the fight.
Kung Lao: Be thankful I choose not to spill your tainted blood.
As Noob struggles to remain conscious, Kung Lao notices something about him.
Kung Lao: Who are you? There is something familiar...
"Even Kung Lao notices too." Jaune said. "But just who is he then if he is familiar. I mean we hadn't seen anyone who could make shadows, have we" Ruby said. "No we having, we would probably find out later." Blake said. She hope they do because it is somewhat driving her insane
Behind him, Lao notices Liu Kang is still fighting Sheeva.
Kung Lao: Do you need help? Four arms against two is hardly a fair fight.
Goro: Liu Kang?!
Kung Lao turns around to see Goro. The Shokan roars and gets into a fighting stance.
"Oh fuck he's back." Yang said. "Well he was nice when he lasted." Weiss said. " Weiss don't be like that, I know he could do it, if Liu Kang beat him. He can too." Ruby said with a smile.
Kung Lao: You have had your match against Liu Kang. Now you will face me!
Goro starts by stomping the ground to cause a small earthquake. Lao jumps up and kicked Goro with a flying kick. Which caused Goro to stagger back.
"All he has to do is do what Liu Kang did and he should be fine." Qrow said. "That may be true, but he got that cockiness to him that would get him killed." Ironwood said.
Kung Lao gets close and starts hitting Goro in some pressure points and tries to put in a lot of damage. Only to see it not really doing anything. Goro smirks and grabs Lao, he then slams him into the ground, Lao bounce off the floor and punches him with all four arms.
"He did the same thing to Liu Kang." Jaune said. "Even the second time it still hurt to watch." Sun said. "I'm just glad that a something like that doesn't exist." Roman said. Thank Oum for being just Grimm.
Lao gets up and then rolls when he sees Goro's shadow falling down from above. Goro lands on the ground and was caught off guard by Lao's flying kick, he then charges Goro again by throwing his hat. It started spinning fast again, The hat then hits Goro getting stuck on his chest. But thanks to his skin it didn't do that much damage.
"I do not want to be caught between a hat with sharp edges like that." Tai said. He shivers just thinking about it.
Goro staggering back again and Lao continues his attack on Goro. Goro seem to have enough and was going to grab him. Only for Lao to teleport and jump on his back. Goro tries to get him off but Lao hits Goro's pressure point on his neck and that seem to work a little as it look like it made him weaker.
Lao then jumps over and starts punching him on the sides and his face. The last hit being a back flip which suddenly Goro to the ground, he groans in pain.
"Ok I seen that move on those old Mistral movies but I didn't think it would work," Sun said. "And it look like it help him out in the end." Ruby said happy that Kung Lao beat Goro.
Goro proves just as much of a challenge to Kung Lao as he was to Liu Kang, but the Shokan's overconfidence allows Kung Lao an edge that Liu Kang didn't have.
Kung Lao: Now, if you have any honor left... you will tell us where Kitana is!
By now, Liu Kang has defeated Sheeva and is also standing over Goro.
Goro: She has been taken to the Coliseum, where she has no doubt been executed.
The good started to get worried for Kitana. "He- He's lying that they can't kill her like that." Ruby said not believe. "They can't just kill her off like that. They put to much of her story to kill her off." Blake said. And it's not because Kitana's her favorite.
"He most likely said that so they would do something reckless. It's common sense for them to scare them like that." Sienna said. After all she has done similar things. Not that she actually killed someone for an example. Just scare them into joining the white fang.
Liu Kang: You lie!
He stomps on Goro's face, knocking him out.
Kung Lao: She may still be alive. Let us go.
They leave the Tower. Back at the Coliseum, Ermac punches Johnny Cage across the face twice. Johnny tries a kick, but Ermac grabs his leg and smashes his elbow onto Johnny's knee, dislocating it. Ermac lays him out with a palm strike, leaving him writhing in pain on the ground.
Shang Tsung: Ermac wins!
"I really don't like Ermac." Yang said with her eyes red. "I don't think any of us are after what he did to Jax." Nora said with just about the same of anger.
Liu Kang and Kung Lao return. They spot Kitana chained up next to Shao Kahn's throne.
Kung Lao: There's Kitana.
Liu Kang: I must free her!
Raiden notices their appearance and runs after them.
Raiden: Not now! Smoke and Johnny Cage have been defeated, and I no longer sense Jackson Briggs' or Sonya Blade's presence in Outworld. Despite my doubts as to whether you are Earthrealm's savior, you must fight!
Liu Kang: But I am not "He Who Must Win".
"He did told Liu Kang that." Jaune said. "Do you think Kung Lao might be." Pyrrha said. "He could be for all we know." Jaune said back.
Liu Kang walks over to where Kitana is, ignoring everyone else. The Tarkatans surrounding her put up fighting stances, but Shao Kahn watches him pass dismissively.
Shao Kahn: Raiden! Put forth a worthy champion... if you can.
Kung Lao begins to step forward, but hesitates. He looks to the Thunder God, who considers the implication.
Raiden: Perhaps you are meant to be the victor.
Smiling, Kung Lao steps forward.
"Ok, let's see if Mr. Lao is the one who should win." Ozpin said. He looks over at Oscar and sees he is awake. "Ah, Oscar, how are you feeling." Ozpin ask him. "Uh. Well I guess I could actually think more clearly now." Oscar said. "That's good to hear."
"So uh what do we do since your soul is not in me anymore?" Oscar ask. "We would talk after the viewing if that's okay." Ozpin said. Oscar thought about it and nods.
Shao Kahn: You will face Shang Tsung.
Shang smiles while clenching his fist.
"That prick, oh Kung Lao has the win." Yang said with a grin.
Shao Kahn: And Quan Chi.
Yang's grin was wipe from her face. The good side looked at her. "Nice going Yang." "Yeah you jinx it." "So still think he got this blondie." Mercury said with smirk of his own. She just glares at him.
It is now Quan Chi's turn to smile. Shang Tsung is less than happy with this turn of events, but goes along with Quan Chi to face Kung Lao.
Quan Chi: No Earthrealm boy can stop this Deadly Alliance.
Shang Tsung: On that we agree.
Onyx lets out a laugh. Oh man that is such a good one. "What is?" Oh don't worry about. Just something for people like me.
Shang Tsung summons his skulls in front of him and fires them at Kung Lao. Lao dodges and throws his hat, that manged to hit Shang.
"Oh shit, hopefully this would be going to be good." Yang said. "This is it." Ruby said jumping in her seat.
Lao then runs and closes the gap with a flying kick only for Shang to block and kick him away. As Lao stood up, he then see Shang morphs into Reptile. As that happen Quan Chi comes up from behind and grabs him.
"Oh no!" Some shouted.
Shang as Reptiles runs up and starts clawing Lao's body. Quan Chi then knees Lao's back and then summons a portal and throws him inside. He comes out of the other side.
Shang morphs back and reach to get a piece of Lao's soul. But he teleports before Shang could grab him and was surprised when Lao grabs his shoulders and throws him across the arena.
"There you go." "You could do it Kung Lao." Some of the students shouted. "Hopefully the kid gots this." Qrow said. "He is doing good so far so he should be fine." Summer said. "Maybe for now, but for how long." Raven said. "They probably don't see it, but he is in over his head and will be killed." She said.
"You sure are full of rainbows and sunshine sis." Qrow said. "You always knew how to bring down the mood Raven." Summer said. Raven just shrugs.
Quan Chi tries to hit Lao. He turn around and block before kicking him away. Quan Chi teleports and lands on top of Lao before stomping of his back. Lao quickly gets up and uppercuts Quan Chi. As he was in the air, Lao grabs him and starts spinning around before throw him to the ground.
Some just cheer for Kung Lao and some were clapping their hands. Come on guys it wasn't that impressive.
Shang suddenly comes up and grabs Lao by the throat and reach in to grab his soul. Once down Shang drops him and kicks him in the face. Shang then morphs again this time turning into him. And then Quan Chi appears from a portal behind him.
"Aw shit he morph into him." "He could still win."
Both nod to each other and begin to rush Kung Lao, Shang used Kung Lao's flying kick as Quan Chi summons two green skulls and shoots them. Lao stops and takes a deep breathe before starts spinning rapidly and creates a giant wind vortex.
"Whoa that is bigger than the last one he did." Neptune said. "You know that is some what scary if you think about." Sun said. "Best to do is to don't get caught by it." Mercury said.
Both sorcerers were then sent into the air. The two skulls getting caught in it too. Hits both, Lao then jumps up and kick Quan Chi to the ground. He then grabs Shang and starts spinning with him in the air before letting go. Shang was going with such speed that he end up crashing into Quan Chi.
Lao then lands on both of them doing more damage. Both just groan in defeat.
"Ohh. That is what you get you sorcerer fucks." Yang said with a smile. Oum it feels good seeing them get destroyed. "He just been lucky so far that is all it is, just luck." Roman said. He just wonders when his luck will run out, it shouldn't last this long.
Fighting one sorcerer alone would be a challenge, let alone both of them at once, but it is a challenge Kung Lao more than steps up to. Using all of the fighting skill at his disposal, he puts up an amazing battle and, against all the odds, emerges victorious against the two sorcerers.
Kung Lao: It is done!
Shang Tsung: No, Kung Lao. Not nearly so.
Quan Chi and Shang Tsung pick themselves up and walk back to Shao Kahn's throne. The gates to one side of the Coliseum open to reveal a gigantic Shokan - or more accurately, a tiger Shokan. As the crowd cheer the beast's appearance, he roars out loud and faces Kung Lao.
"There's a tiger Shokan." Blake said surprised. Sienna was more surprised and started to feel hot all of an suddenly. She started to blush. 'Oum Dammit not now.' She thought. She hopes this would be over quick.
Yes, not all of them or dragons. It's actually pretty cool.
Kintaro: I will eat your heart!
Kintaro starts by shooting a fireball. Kung Lao jumps over and throws his hat. It flys upwards and it hit Kintaro on the head. He just shakes his head and processed to stomp the ground which made Lao loose balance.
Kintaro brings his arms back and takes a big breathe. Lao was pulled by the force to Kintaro. As he got close Kintaro grabs him, throws him to the ground, then stomps on his back. He then shoots another fireball and it launches him into the air before getting uppercut by the cat-like Shokan.
The students were scared for Kung Lao. He was getting destroyed by the giant cat easily. "So looks like the kid finally meant his match, well I guess he is done for." Roman said. All was trying to play hero and looks were it got. 'These kids never learn do they.'
Sienna is have a hard time right now. The way the Shokan shows his power. Is- IS INTOXICATING. She was crossing her legs and was feeling very hot. 'Please be over. Please be over.' She kept repeating.
Salem was watching in fascinations. These Shokan are very powerful indeed. Perhaps she should create Grimm very close to a Shokan. They seem to be exactly what she needs for powerful Grimm.
Kintaro comes over and reach down to grab him. Only for Lao to suddenly teleports, Kintaro turns around and gets kicked in the face. Like Goro, he started hitting Kintaro on his pressure points. Lao then spins and sends Kintaro up in the air. He does his flying and sends him to the ground.
Everyone was quiet. The tensions were very high right now. The good are worry that this would be his last fight. The villains were counting that Kintaro would win since the sorcerers couldn't do it.
Kintaro gets up and is in full rage. He then starts charging at Lao in a fit of rage. From this point Kung Lao has control. Kintaro lifts his arms and slams down only for Lao to move out of the way and punches him. He tries again and Lao punches him. It happens a few more times before it shows Kintaro getting tried out.
"No no NO." "We are so close." Some of the villains shouted. The good started to get hope again. "COME ON KUNG LAO." "YOU COULD DO IT." They shouted.
Onyx knowing was going to happen. 'Oh man, I can't wait until they see this.' Onyx thought. He had a grin on his face and was waiting for the aftermath. This was his favorite part because of the shock value that it has.
Lao finally was going to finish Kintaro off. He started spinning to create another vortex. Kintaro gets sweep off his feet and was in the air. Kung Lao wanting to do enough damage, throws his hat into the vortex. The hat was going around and was hitting Kintaro all over his body.
Once that was done, Lao jumps up and starts hitting Kintaro with fast strikes before grabbing him. Spins him around before landing on him and bring Kintaro unconscious.
When they saw Kintaro go unconscious. Everyone jumps up in joy or in complete disbelief. "YESSS." The good shouted. "NOOO." The bad shouted. "He fucking won. He did it." They cheer. "We were so close." Mercury said holding his head. "My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruin." Salem said in complete utterly disappointment.
'Oh boyboyboy. Here it comes.' Onyx said shaking in his seat. Salem notice this. "Why are you shaking?" Salem ask. Onyx leanings over and whispers in her ear. Salem ends up have the same grin as Onyx. Oh this fun. And looks back at the screen.
The tiger Shokan proves to be the most intense fight of Kung Lao's life. It takes everything the Shaolin monk has left in him to remain in the battle, but he eventually manages to fight his way through Kintaro's defenses and take the melee to him.
Laughing in victory, Kung Lao parades to the booing crowd, bowing in mockery and waving his hat at them. He then turns to the Thunder God.
Kung Lao: You see, Raiden? Earthrealm is fre-
He never finishes the sentence, as Shao Kahn grabs him from behind and snaps his neck like a twig. The crowd burst into cheers as Kung Lao falls dead.
Ruby and them stop in horror as Shao Kahn snaps Kung Lao's neck. The were in shock. "No no no NO." Ruby shouted as tears started to form. Summer grabs her daughter and puts her in a hug. "YES. Finally the little bastard dies." Cinder shouted in happiness.
"That son of a bitch." Qrow said in anger killing him when he let his guard down. Raven nods her head. "See I was right. Got in over his head and look were that got him." Oum she loves being right. "Bastard!" Ironwood said.
Onyx couldn't help it and started laughing. He was leaning on Salem who was also laughing with him. Oh my god you guys should see your faces. That was priceless. Onyx laughing some more.
"You think this is funny." Yang said with red eyes. Some of the other glared at him. Yes. Yes, I do. I was waiting for it. Oh man that was so worth it. "You knew what was going to happen." Blake said.
Of course I knew what was going to happen. I didn't want to ruin the surprise. Man, I should of record it. But let's get back to it.
Raiden: Kung Lao!
Liu Kang, who's knocked out the Tarkatan guards and is in the process of freeing Kitana, watches the whole thing happen.
Liu Kang: NO!
As Kahn basks in the crowd's cheers, Raiden charges up a lightning blast.
Raiden: I will strip the flesh from your bones!
Roaring in fury, Liu Kang tackles Shao Kahn from behind. They wrestle on the ground, forcing Raiden to cancel his attack. Kahn quickly kicks Kang off him and they both pick themselves up, Kahn laughing as he does so.
Shao Kahn: Witless boy. Do you know who I am?
Liu Kang: The murderer of my friend!
Shao Kahn: I am Shao Kahn! Konquerer of Worlds! You will taste no victory.
Liu Kang: You will taste your own blood!
No one was against of Liu Kang for wanting to kill Shao Kahn. Hell some of them are just want to see that bastard dead right now.
Liu Kang started by going all in. He close the gap and starts attacking. Shao Kahn lifts his arm and punches Liu Kang square in the chest. Liu Kang was stagger a bit. Shao Kahn comes up and summons his hammer. He laughs before hitting Liu Kang which sends him flying back.
Everyone realize that Liu Kang is more in trouble then they thought. "Oh no. He's to strong for him." Ruby cried out. "Not with that rage clouding Liu Kang's mind he needs to think when fighting an opponent like this." Ironwood said.
Liu Kang in rage didn't care and charge in again. Shao Kahn laughs again. Liu Kang punch Kahn in the face but he just smirks and said "Pathetic." He said grabs Liu Kang's arm and pick him up before punching his stomach. And then headbutt him which sends Liu Kang away.
Everyone flinch at the hits. Shao Kahn is not holding back.
Liu Kang gets one more time. Kahn then summons a spear and throws it at him. Liu Kang sees this and jumps over. Kahn summons two more spears at him. Liu Kang jump and then crouch under the next. Once close enough he uppercuts Kahn.
"That's it Liu Kang." "Kill that asshole." Some shouted. They want to see him go down.
Kahn gets back and summons his hammer again. With a giant leap Kahn has his hammer behind his head as he brings it down from above. Liu Kang roll forward and turns around and does his bicycle kick. When he was done, Kahn shakes his head and growls. He charge at Liu Kang with a green fire. Liu Kang then does a flying kick. It staggers him back a little. Only for Kahn to grabs his leg and slams him on the ground.
"Shao Kahn could just take the hits can." Yang said. She doesn't know if she would be strong enough to fight even with her semblance active. "All he has to do is keep attack and dodging." Tai said.
On the ground Liu Kang, does a cartwheel hitting over Kahn's head. Liu Kang hand suddenly erupt in flames and his punches the side of his face. After that Liu Kang does another cartwheel. Before anyone could say anything. An x-ray happen. (I only did it because Shao Kahn would survive an attack). Liu Kang uppercuts under his jaw. He was sent into the air.
Everyone flinch. "Oh man I was not expecting that." "Oh no. Not the x-rays again." Sun said. He's fine but he hates the sound of bones breaking.
As Kahn come back down he was meant the end of Liu Kang's foot as his jaw was destroyed again. And everything went back to normal. Kahn was badly injured with that and slow tried to get up on too fall back on his knees.
"YES. Take that you bastard." "Now kill him please." Wow, I was not expect you guys to be cheering on for someone to dead. "He deserve death." "He's an monster."
Shao Kahn is every bit the mighty warrior he claims to be, with control of both dark magic and superhuman strength at his disposal. But Liu Kang, fueled with vengeance at seeing his friend die, takes it to the emperor and dishes out an absolutely brutal beating.
Liu Kang: On your feet!
As Kahn struggles to his feet, barely conscious, Liu Kang raises his fist, which lights up with his signature fire.
Liu Kang: For Kung Lao, the Shaolin and Earthrealm!
In slow motion, Kang charges forward and punches Shao Kahn straight in the chest, his fist bursting through the other side of Kahn's body. He withdraws his fist and Kahn falls to his knees, coughing up blood. With a final gurgle, he falls forward, unmoving. The arena is completely silent.
Even everyone watching were quiet as well. It's finally over the Earthrealm won. They felt happy but also said that they lost two people that being. The new Sub-Zero and now Kung Lao.
Shang Tsung: I cannot believe... Earthrealm has won.
As with Liu Kang's victory before, a light from the heavens shines down on him, the Elder Gods noting his victory in the new tournament.
Raiden: The Elder Gods have spoken. Earthrealm is free of Shao Kahn forever.
With a flick of his head, Shang motions to two Tarkatan guards. They pick up Kahn's body and walk off. All of Kahn's minions follow, save Kitana. Kitana walks up to Liu Kang's side. They look briefly at each other, but say nothing as they both lay eyes on Kung Lao's body and walk over to it.
Raiden: But the price of victory was almost too steep to pay. Kung Lao's death is my fault. I encouraged him. Our triumph was not meant to be achieved in this way. I see now. "He must win" refers to you. But to prevent Armageddon, you needed to defeat Shao Kahn, not Shang Tsung.
Raiden takes his amulet off his chest and looks at it once more. More cracks adorn it.
Raiden: It cannot be! Shao Kahn is dead! Yet the future remains unchanged!
Liu Kang looks up in confusion/anger at Raiden, which goes unnoticed by the Thunder God.
The screen fade to black and the light turn on again.
"WHAT!? After all of that it didn't change anything." Ruby shouted. Yeah, fate can be cruel like that. You try to change your destiny but sometimes it's already laid out for you. As least in some worlds that is true. It rest is just having bad fortune.
"But why didn't anything change. Sub-Zero and Kung Lao dead surely that could have change something." Glynda said trying to make sense the situation.
Yes, that maybe different for trying to change the timeline. A single change would cause a huge butterfly effect to take place and that is the down side of trying to change the past.
"It's always the butterfly effect that makes things harder with time travel stuff." Blake said. This is why she hates time travel happening in stories.
"So if Liu Kang wasn't suppose to win who is then." Jaune said. He is still upset that Kung Lao was killed. It just reminds him of Pyrrha dying.
You would have to wait for the end for that Jaune. A familiar voice said. Everyone turned around to see Slayer. "Slayer you come back." Ruby said.
It's good to see you too little rose. So I see you guys saw Kung Lao chapter. Everyone had a sad look. Oh man. Slayer you should of seen their reactions it was the funniness thing. Onyx said.
Of course you would find this funny. He didn't cause to much trouble did he. "He was an hand full, but he was fine." I'm hurt! I wasn't that bad. Everyone looked at him and said. "Yes you were." Jerks all of you.
And finish. Now since they saw Shao Kahn get defeated, I would start doing the arcade endings. I was waiting for this chapter too start that part.
And I want start the Batman until I finish MK9 Story.
