[EDIT: DOC WAS CORRUPTED. Thank you AnimeQueen82 for telling me!]

"Hello?"

"Hey."

"Yué? Is that you?"

"Yeah, it's me."

"Where are we?"

"We're not really anywhere. We're just kind of... floating."

"Oh, okay." A pause. "Is there anything we can do?"

"Not really. But we can talk. Is that alright?"

"Yeah, yeah. It's fine. I like talking."

"Good. Good. That's good."

"What happened?"

The silence of thought, and then a reply. "I don't really know how to explain. But there was something that happened with your memories, and now you have to stay here for a little while, okay?"

A warmth, almost like she were pressing her hand to his cheek. "Okay, I think I can do that."

She giggled, and he could feel his heart soar at the sound. Then it was quiet again for a little while.

"Hey, Sora?"

"Yeah?"

"I need to go away for a little bit. There's someone out there that I need to look out for."

"Oh, okay." Another pause. "Will you come back?"

"Of course I'll come back."

He felt himself smile. "Okay. I like it when you're here. With me. Together."

He could feel her smile too. "I like it when I'm here with you too."

Heeeeeey guys. It's been a while. A LOT has happened since the last time I posted anything. KH3 came out (bruh), and then the DLC (BRUH). Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know that I have plans for the series that actually make somewhat sense. If you read the whole two chapters of Moonrise I posted, that story is getting pushed back later in the series because right now I'm attempting to work on what will be the first chapter of the official first part of this series! I don't know when it will be published just because I am a busy college student who doesn't know what fun is anymore.

Anyway thanks for reading! This little bit is set when Sora is asleep, and my girl Yué's gotta watch out for her boy.

Random fact: It's snowing outside my window which is just lovely.

Fun(?) fact: I am an Art History minor, and vanitas is a word that pops up a loooooot to describe the emotional emptiness and darkness of a piece of art. Oh, Vanitas, so emo.
