Chapter 16- A nightmare

Rayna's POV-
'Please let it have been a dream. Please. I don't know what I'd do if it wasn't.' I thought as I again woke up in Jaelyn and Joslyn's room.
Jaelyn walked into the room and gave me a sad smile when she saw that I was awake.
"Jaelyn?" I asked.
"What is it?" She asked.
"It wasn't a dream, was it? Mom and dad are sick too?" I asked in a shaky voice.
'please let it be a dream.' I thought before she said, "I really wish it was a dream, Ray, but it wasn't. They are sick, and we probably won't see them ever again."
'No. this-this can't be happening... my dream... it came true. Grandma died and mom and dad caught the disease she had... that's what happened in my dream... what does this mean?' I felt tears run down my face and Jaelyn came over to me and hugged me.
"It's going to be ok; everything will work out. It has to. It'll be ok..." she tried to assure me, but I knew it probably wasn't true. I stayed silent as she cradled me to her chest.
About an hour later, Jaelyn carried me downstairs to eat something. There was French toast on a plate on the kitchen island. Jaelyn set me down on a chair and pushed the plate of French toast to me. I started to take small bites that gradually got bigger as I realized how hungry I was.
Once I finished the French toast, Jaelyn brought me to my room. She laid down with me in the bed and quietly sang a lullaby to help me sleep. Eventually, I drifted off into sleep.
"Rayna Aquia Blakewood. How dare you let me die!" Grandma yelled at me.
"Grandma? Wh-what are you talking about? I didn't do anything to help you die! I wanted to help you live! but I couldn't." I explained.
"Helping me wouldn't have done anything. You caused me to get sick! So now I'm dead! And it's all your fault!" Grandma accused me, still yelling.
"Grandma! I-I didn't do anything! I don't know what you're talking about! It's not my fault!" I tried to get her to understand, but nothing was working.
"Don't try and tell me that. You know what you did! You helped them! You got me sick, and now I'm dead! It's all your fault!" Grandma's yelling got louder.
I covered my ears because it was too loud. "Grandma stop it! I didn't do anything! I don't even know who you're talking about when you said I helped them! You're not making any sense!"
"Don't you play dumb with me! You know what you did! It's all your fault!

those words echoed in my head as I slipped back into real life. Jaelyn was looking at me concerned when I finally opened my eyes.
"What?" I asked.
"Well, for one, you were mumbling 'it's all your fault' multiple times, and two, you were crying in your sleep." Jaelyn said as she wiped some tears from my cheek. "What was your dream about?"
"Umm, well, Grandma was telling that it was all my fault that she got sick and died... is it my fault?" I asked as more tears slipped down my cheek.
"What, no! It's not your fault! It was just a dream, it not true. It's most definitely not your fault!" Jaelyn assured me.
"My other dream came true." I said.
"What other dream?" She asked.
"I had a nightmare the night we first got here. In it, grandma died, and mom and dad got sick... that same thing just happened..." I looked at her confused.
"That is interesting... but I'm sure it's not your fault. How would you be able to cause her to get sick? It's not possible." She assured me.
"But what if-"
Jaelyn interrupted me, "It's not your fault. You would never do that to anyone even if it was possible."
"ok." I whispered.
"I'll ask our relatives if any of them have a power that is like telling the future with dreams. But if none of them have a power like that, and that is a power you have, then maybe it's your own special power that you just discovered." She said.
"So, this might be my power?" I asked, excited that I might have a power, sad that this is what it's showing me.
"I'm not sure since it's only came true once, right?"
"I don't know how much times it's come true, I don't usually pay attention to my dreams." I said.
"Alright, well if for some odd reason, this dream comes true, then I think it is your power. But I don't see how any of this could be your fault. So, I don't think it is your power." She said.
"Ok." I sighed. "Where is everyone else?"
"The Cullen's went out hunting and everyone else decided to go with them." She explained.
"Oh, ok." I curled up next to her and eventually fell back asleep.
A/N-
I won't be posting on here until January 2mdd because I will not have access to a computer! So, sorry if you wanted to know what happened, but there's nothing I can do if you don't go on quotev. Also, you're probably wondering what quotev is. I just re-read some of the chapters I posted on here, and the times I mentioned it, the title of what it is got deleted or something. So, I'll tell you know. It's called quotev. Com. I hope that worked, I won't know until I post it and read it, but I hope it works. I will probably post on there at least ones before I post on here. So, if you want to read it there then you can. There is more spelling and grammar errors, but eventually I will rewrite it and fix all of those. Now, onto other stuff
Ok. I feel accomplished. I got this chapter written the day before I was going to post it:) and I was busy last night too! I managed to get this done, so I'm happy!
Anyways, hope you enjoyed the chapter! A lot of these chapters will be fillers because stuff will happen once something happens, and that something won't happen for a little bit. So... YOU GET A FILLER! YOU GET A FILLER! WE ALL GET A FILLER!
