How long do you think this book should be? I was thinking around twenty or thirty chapters, and then to move onto the next book in the series. Anyhow it's y'all decision, comment and i'll take around the most requested length for this book.

The snow had started to already melt by time Bunny got up. It was probably near sunhigh, with many of the cats already asleep. Only a few up and doing small chores around camp.
Bunny climbed out of her nest. Which was in the trainees den. Alpha had tried to make his little camp like the Clans. Naming different positions based on what the Clans named theirs. But of course, he couldn't get all the information. So he had to make some things up along the way.
The little tan-coated trainee sighed. Looking over the rocky spot they called home. It was up on a hill, most of their dens already had been dugged out, other then the queen's den. Which had been heavily packed with soft moss, feathers and lichen.
The camp was on a soil-and-rock place. With a little pond just outside to the right of the entrance and exit. It was a nice set-up, and many cats tried to join them. Of course Alpha only let a few in at a time. Being very demanding of the skills they must have to join. It wasn't that he was mean, no, instead he just wanted to protect the cats who lived under his ruling.
"Hello, Ruby." Bunny greeted cheerfully.
The ginger she-cat merely nodded, giving Bunny a small smile. Ruby was a quiet she-cat, always real quiet unless she got mad. The ginger trainee also had a part of her father in her, where she'd get loud and show her anger through aggression. Course, Bunny had never been attacked by Ruby. The two were actually good friends.
"Do you think they'll let us go outside?" Being pulled out of her thoughts, Bunny hummed softly.
"What was that?"
Ruby chuckled. "I said, do you think they'll let us outside? I'm bored sitting in the camp all day. Night is pretty and all, but I would love to feel the sun on my pelt." Her friend sighed, her gaze once again set to the sky.
Licking a paw Bunny drew it over her ears. Alpha was strict with his rules. And going outside during the day was forbidden. It was to dangerous, definitely for two trainees. But the look that Ruby had, the faint trace of a smile on her muzzle at the thought of going outside..
"We can go. Just..be real quiet, okay?" Her heart started to beat quickly in her chest. Eyes woundering around camp, a quick scan of who was awake.
Ruby had jumped to her paws. A large grin on her maw. "You mean you'll take me outside?" Her voice was in a low, excited whisper.
Nodding Bunny lead the way outside. Her eyes darting around, looking for any sign of life. But after she saw nothing the tan trainee padded out, Ruby walking behind her.
...
"Pick up the pace!" Snowfoot snapped, turning to glare at his apprentice.
Oddpaw narrowed her dark ember orbs, returning the glare with a snarl. "I'm walking, Snowfoot!" She spat, jumping back as the large white tom leaped at her
The ClearClan leader stood over the smaller apprentice. Head raised as he glared down at her, teeth bared as he spoke. "Don't ever raise your voice with me, Oddpaw!" Huffing, he turned back around to shove past Sharpstone.
Oddpaw just rolled her eyes. After the snow started to melt the new warmth was getting to everyone. At first it was nice, but now it seemed to be baking the cats, definitely the ones with thicker coats. Now that she was older, her own black pelt was dense, and made the keep her warm during the coldest of days.
The deputy glanced down at her, his head shaking. "Making him mad isn't good, Oddpaw, Snowfoot is always at his worst during the hot-moon. But it only lastes for one moon, so he'll be back to a calmer state when it starts to snow,"
Signing she wished it would just snow already. Her ears flattening down as the sun seemed to shine even brighter, it's rays burning into her back.
Sorry about it being a short chapter. I've been kinda set on getting my other story, Burning Blue, at least a few more chapters in. Since it's a lot bigger of a story, and more people read it, I didn't want to wait to long before updating it. But I will continue this one, I promise.
