chapter 15 The curse of the elephants
Lion-o and the others were staying in the elephant village for a while. Lion-o was exploring and found something. "Hey guys look at this," Lion-o said.
"What is it Lion-o?" Cheetara said.
"It says here that the Elephants once had the greatest memories of any animal but an evil wizard feared them and placed a curse on them," Lion-o said. "It says to break the curse one must go to mount Ivorious and defeat the ancient wizard," he said.
"We must help the elephants Lion-o," Wilykit said.
"You're right," Lion-o said.
They found Anet. "Anet what do you know about a mountain called Ivorious?" Lion-o asked.
"It's that mountain right there, an evil wizard lives there, I can't remember why but all I know is he did something in our past." Anet said.
"How do we get there?' Lion-o asked.
"You must follow this path and I must warn you it might be dangerous the wizard can see anything about any animal as a threat so be careful," Anet said.
"We will be," Lion-o said. "Bengali I want you, Pumyra and the Thunderkittens to stay her with the elephants," he said.
"Fine," Bengali said.
"Tygra, Cheetara, Liosia and Panthro let's go," Lion-o said.
They climbed into the the Thundertank and headed for Ivorious mountain. After a long trip the made it to the area where the tank couldn't pass. The wizard was watching them from his crystal ball. "What are these cat's doing here?" the wizard asked. "These must be the legendary Thundercats," he said. "I must find a way to stop them my power must not be threatened." he said.
As they went on they encountered obstacles. Cheetara got herself stuck in some brambles and vines. "You go on a head I will get out of this," Cheetara said.
"Okay then," Lion-o said.
Lion-o, Tygra, and Panthro continued on. The ground split across the path. Tygra and Panthro were on one side and Lion-o was on the other. "Kid I am afraid you must go on alone," Panthro said.
"But I don't know if I can do it alone," Lion-o said.
"You can just believe in yourself," Panthro said.
"You can do it little brother," Tygra said.
"Okay then," Lion-o said.
"This one keeps go past my obstacles. I must stop him." the wizard and came to Lion-o.
"Who are you?" Lion-o asked.
"I am Covianous, the wizard," he said.
"You are the one who cursed the elephants," Lion-o said.
"Yes I am," the wizard said.
"I won't let you get away with this," Lion-o said.
"I will get away with it," Covianous said.
Lion-o and Convianous clashed. They fought for hours. "This spell will turn you to stone," Convianous said and fired the spell. Lion-O used the spirit stone and it created a shield and the spell bounced off the shield and hit Convianous. "No!" he said and turned to stone.
The split ground closed and Cheetara was freed from the brambles. Then the elephants glowed.
Lion-o, Tygra, Panthro and Cheetara returned to the elephant village. "You defeated the evil wizard who put a curse on our memories," Aburn said.
"Now I remember everything," another elephant said.
"Lion-o we elephants have much to be grateful to you and the Thundercats for all I can say is you can count on us as allies," Anet said.
"And you can count on us," Lion-o said.
To be continued.
