I groaned softly, watching the hosts fool around. They were such children. Haruhi still threw a fit whenever she had to wear a costume. Honey still begged for more sweets than what he had, even after he had more than what was allowed. Mori still let him. Tamaki still called Haruhi his daughter and Kyoya Mama, which was bizarre in itself. As always, the twins were the twins. I shook my head and hummed softly, looking at the costumes for the day and the menu.

Today they were going to be out in the grounds, and we'd all be following the style of the Heian dynasty. They also had hair extensions and I rolled my eyes a little, long haired tied back even as a few strands stayed by my face. The strands were thin and to my eyes, clearly fake. I moved from Kyoya's area to the twins, raising a brow at the brotherly act. Kaoru glanced up at me, Hikaru's fingers under his chin. I smirked softly and held up one of the sweets on my tray. He blinked and opened his mouth, where I dropped it. I made to walk away but Hikaru whined.

"Hey! Where's my treat?"

I chuckled and plucked another from the tray. I held out my hand, the sweet between my fingers and sleeves hanging low. I honestly didn't understand some older japanese styles. Guess it was the problem with being raised in America. Anyways, I was fully expecting him to take it from me, I just wasn't prepared for how. He leaned up and wrapped his tongue around it, the wet muscle brushing my fingers briefly. My face turned bright red instantly and I squeaked. I heard someone clear their throat and looked over to their customers, one of them glaring harshly while the other had looked away. I stepped away from the boys and over to them.

"Is there anything I can get for you princess's? Some tea?" I smiled. "Or would you like me to feed you too?"

The angered customer got redder, eyes narrowing and she even growled. I just continued to smile sweetly at her. I heard one of the twins move and the other girl spoke up, though her voice was soft. "M-may I have some tea?" I turned to her, smile softening and turning a little more genuine. I poured a fresh cup and handed it to her. "Here you are. I'm sorry for interrupting." She shook her head and smiled softly. I heard the other girl huff and I decided to ignore her. She never answered and I asked her a clear question. It wasn't my fault she decided not to respond.

I glanced back and saw Hikaru removing a ball from his sleeve and I watched in mild curiosity as he threw it towards Tamaki. "Hey Senpai, catch!" I facepalmed, wincing as he left, Kaoru hot on his tail. I didn't feel like entertaining the girls in their place so I followed, dropping the tray off on the table that held all the food. I managed to reach them, helping Haruhi up as Tamaki and the Hitachiins went at it. I rolled my eyes.

Next thing I knew I heard glass breaking and my head shot up. I stood up, looking for what happened. I could see a window a ways away that looked shattered and I groaned, looking over at the snickering twins and pale blond. Shaking my head, I moved over to them. "We should go investigate. Make sure no one got hurt?"

Unfortunately this seemed to not be the case as the Newspaper club's president had a decent sized lump on his head, a bag of ice on the man's head. I was helping Haruhi safely dispose of the glass as the two heads of the clubs spoke. The man spoke about needing help and it was revealed that like every other news outlet, they relied on gossip. The twins seemed bored with the idea which had me snorting. Rich people must be used to that.

The male expressed a desire to change and asked Tamaki if they could do a piece on the host club. The blond happily agreed but he was quickly shoved away, Kyoya denying them under the guise of privacy even as Tamaki argued to work with them. The twins frowned, glancing at me briefly before siding with Kyoya. I tensed a little at their gaze. They seemed concerned though I didn't know about what. I frowned slightly, wanting them to explain what they were thinking but I didn't think they'd be open to talking about it right now.

The club president looked disappointed and spoke about disbanding the Newspaper club, expressing how upset he was to not be given another chance. I groaned as the blond gave in. I felt a hand slip into my own and I sputtered softly, cheeks turning pink as Kaoru dragged me towards the exit, Hikaru already bringing Haruhi along with him. They told the host king that they didn't agree with the plan. The others agreed with the twins and tried to leave before Tamaki gave one of his stupid speeches that failed. It made me snicker.

We made it back to the club room after picking up, changing back into our clothes. I sighed softly. I looked at the violet costume I laid across a bench, giving a soft hum. While dressing up was fun I enjoyed my own clothes. I stepped outside and raised a brow as I approached the twins, seeing that Tamaki was still in his costume, rolling the ball from before around with a depressed expression.

I saw the look in Haru's eyes and I knew she was about to cave. Sure enough she sighed and looked between Kyoya and the twins. "Is it that wrong to help out the newspaper club?" I shook my head, smiling. She sure did cave a lot when it came to an upset Tamaki. When he was being reasonable. They twins protested, unhappy and I elbowed them. This got their attention and they whined at me, causing me to giggle. They were such children.

"Isn't this something you guys would usually go for?" Haruhi questioned. I frowned and looked at them, wondering the same. "She's right, what's got you two protesting." All we got were shrugs until we kept staring at them. "Seems like more trouble than it's worth." I huffed and folded my arms. They glanced at me. It was a bad idea. I let my shoulders fall, lip popping out and a sad expression take my face. I looked up at them from under my lashes, letting tears pool but not fall. Their eyes widened and I could see a bit of panic on their faces. They glanced away and I noted the soft flush on their cheeks which had me confused but it didn't stop me from continuing.

I heard a soft whimper from behind me and a quick glance said everything as Tamaki was shooting his own puppy dog eyes at Haruhi and Kyoya, making even the raven cave. I looked back at the twins and they sighed. "Fine, we'll help." Kyoya agreed though he had conditions which in all honestly I found were fair. They were proposed to the Newspaper club who easily agreed. Or so Kyoya said when he returned though he seemed tense. I wondered what happened but it wasn't my place.

We were dismissed for the day, being sent away and I briefly went over to the twins place to play some games before heading home. I set my bag down and wandered into the kitchen, seeing my brother's left me a note about how they had to leave on another business trip. I tossed the note away and groaned at the sight of clumped fur on the floor. Of course they didn't clean up, freaking jerks. I had to spend the night cleaning and was tired when I got to school the next morning.

When it was time for the host club I found that the activities were delayed and that we were having another game in the courtyard though this time without the customers. When I arrived it was announced that everyone was going to play red light green light and I began laughing.

"What's so funny, Ny-chan?"

I looked down at Honey and smiled. "I haven't played this game since I was little. It'll be weird doing it again!"

After a few rounds, it was Tamaki's turn. The twins were a little bored and so was Honey so every time they froze, they posed in hard positions to add a little challenge. I tried not to giggle as Kaoru and Hikaru were caught moving, trying to balance and wobbling just enough to be caught. I got so close to touching him but he put a pause on the game as the newspaper club asked questions on what they were doing.

The group was irritated until Tamaki explained it was about friendliness which I took as bonding. It did surprise me they didn't have games that don't cost money. I would have to show them a few more from my childhood and ask some from Haruhi. We must have different ones since we were from different places after all.

The game appeared to be finished so I stood by Haruhi, Tamaki looking over. The girl blanched and I giggled. "Don't tell me you aren't having fun, Haru." She shook her head. "Not when he keeps calling them commoners games." I chuckled until the Newspaper club approached us. I raised a brow at them.

"May we ask you two a few questions?"

I glanced at Haruhi who agreed. I just shrugged which they took as a yes. Haruhi was up first. I moved to the side though not far so I could listen in. I kept an eye on the hosts, watching them play. Haruhi was asked about her joining, though the president of the other club went so far from the original topic he shouldn't have bothered with it anyways. The interviewer began accuising the host king as being power hungry, which didn't fit the lovable, dumb blond at all. It set me on edge and suddenly I knew why exactly the twins and kyoya were so against it all in the first place.

I moved over abruptly, blocking the girl from his sight. Before he could reply I sent him a nasty glare before changing to a sugary sweet smile. "Tamaki! The president wants to join us in a game of tag!"

The male sputtered and Tamaki was over in moments, a happy grin on his face. He dragged the man over to the group and I watched smugly from my spot beside Haruhi. She began to ask me something but I led her over and we proceeded with the games, the newspaper club's president being forced to participate, much to his chagrin. This included multiple games and then a few rounds of hide and seek.

I was proud to say I only lost once, to Kyoya unsurprisingly. I was now it and despite finding the rest, it was difficult to track down Haruhi and Tamaki. They had previously been found in a small area, huddled close together to minimize possibilities of being found. Poor girl was dragged with him everywhere though I noticed she didn't protest too hard. The other's I found with relative ease. I followed the smell of dog, discovering Kyoya. Honey had his bunny with him and the ears stuck out from a bush. Mori was so tall that his head stuck out from the area he hid in.

The twins were a little harder. I wondered if they were seperate or together, finding after a bit it was likely they were separate. I headed back to the grounds and saw a tuft of orange peeking out from behind a tree. With a smile I crept over but before I could pounce, Kaoru turned toward me. He drew me close and I blinked up at him in surprise.

"Caught...you?"

He chuckled and I relaxed slightly, the tone lighter to confirm it was indeed Kaoru. He smirked down at me, arms looped behind my back. His grin was mischievous and familiar. He leaned in a little bit and I felt my cheeks heat.

"I think I'm the one who caught you."

"That's not how hide and seek works Kaoru."

His eyes lidded and I felt my flush darken as he leaned in closer. I swallowed but didn't move.

"That's how my game works."

I like to think he would have kissed me had Hikaru not dropped down from a tree branch, hanging upside down. He stopped right by us, the ends of his jacket hanging down as he smirked.

"Now I know you aren't playing without me, Kaoru."

My eyes widened and I turned to Hikaru, cheeks puffed. Then I grinned and poked him in the forehead.

"You revealed yourself to me, so I think I won."

He frowned and we went back and forth for a moment, the air playful. I was smiling and when I glanced back I paused to see the other twin scowling lightly before it disappeared and he smiled at me. I tilted my head, confused but didn't say anything.

"Who do you have left?"

"Tamaki and Haruhi." I answered Kaoru as Hikaru came down, fixing his clothes. The duo exchanged looks and nodded. They turned to me and I frowned slightly. They looked serious. Hikaru patted my head a few times and I was confused.

"You go look for the boss and Haruhi. We have something to do."

I pouted a little but left them alone. I watched as the other joined them and went inside, where the newspaper club disappeared before. I had an idea of what was happening but I let the hosts take care of it. If they didn't want me there I wouldn't intrude.

I wandered around the rose garden maze, not really looking until I heard the familiar voices of the hosts. I weaved through the area, easily finding the remaining hosts. The moment looked private but I didn't feel like waiting. So I threw myself between them.

"Found you!"

The rest of the hosts found us easy and I smiled, happy to see the king was just fine. It was explained that the other club returned to the club room and decided to move away from gossip columns. I suspected that the others had something to do with it. The hosts walked back to the club but along the way Haruhi asked about the blond's family. Her reaction to finding out the Principal was Tamaki'a father was amusing.

I met him briefly when I got my schedule and while I had an idea, the confirmation now was nice. When we arrived, I quickly gathered my things. The twins were on me in seconds and I raised a brow.

"Can we come cover, Aria?"

"Yeah! I wanna see Nari again!"

I frowned. "My brothers had to take her to the vet today, so she's not home."

The two's eyes widened and they immediately began panicking, asking what was wrong. I let them freak out until they eventually stopped and I rolled my eyes.

"You guys ever hear of a check up? She's fine."

They relaxed, though Kaoru perked right back up. "We could come over and hang out."

"Oooooor." I dragged out, giving them a look. "You could go home and study like I plan too."

I left them there, twin whines echoing through the hall as I headed home to prepare for the upcoming exams.
