Chronicle 14: End of the story
Euphoria was feeling remorseful for her godfather, seeing the sad look on his face after he reminded himself of his loss of a friend. "Uncle, if this is too hard for, you don't have to tell me this part." said Euphoria. "No little one, Diego deserves to be remembered for his sacrifice, not for his sins." Roberto answered. Roberto leaned back and looked up at the sky. "Besides, a month after the battle and a couple of assassination attempts on me, Lelouch faked his own death with the help of Zero. I made sure to take away his power of geass and that of his green-haired lover. I finished my mission from God and the tyranny of Lelouch was put to an end." said Roberto "I see you are still hearing his stories sister." said a voice from behind Roberto, He looked around and saw Junta all grown up and Cornelia's son, Angel. "Ah it is you two." Roberto said. "It's Euphoria cousin, she always loved hearing stories." said Angel.
Roberto cracked a smile as he looked at them both. "Now young ones, I was happy to tell her my story." said Roberto. "Yes, but she should be in bed resting," said Junta, "Mother will be worried if she learns that you are not in bed." "Big brother Junta, I just needed some time from bed and enjoy the fresh air." said Euphoria as she stood up with her hands on her belly. "I have to go know Euphoria." said Roberto. "Okay uncle, say hi to your family for me." said Euphoria. "I will." said Roberto and he kissed Euphoria good-bye. As Roberto walked away, Euphoria smiled and waved good-bye. Just as Roberto was walking away, he put his left hand in his pocket and pulled out a picture of him and Milly when they were younger, with Milly holding their two newborns. Roberto looked at the picture and reminisce the time when he was younger. "I will always remember that day." he thought to himself.
Roberto was remembering the time when he was about to negotiate with then Prime Minister Ohgi. Roberto was walking down the hallway along with Carlos and Rojas, thinking of what to say to Prime Minister Ohgi. "Just to be clear Hokkaido Island is going back to Japan." said Roberto. "Right!" Carlos and Rojas said in unascend. As they were closing in the Prime Minister's office, a bunch of reporters were there, waiting for them. Among them was a heavily pregnant Milly, who look like she was close to he due date. Roberto saw her and was concerned for her. Why wouldn't he be? Seeing his wife on her last term of pregnancy, standing with other reporters should make him concerned. Milly saw him when he was close enough and was glad to see him. "Hi honey." said Milly and she proceeded to kiss him. After the kiss, Roberto looked at her and the eyes and cracked a smile. "Milly you should be in bed resting." said Roberto. "I got bored and I needed to stretch my legs." Milly answered back. Roberto said nothing at that reply, but instead looked at a soldier who was standing next to the door. "Hey you," Roberto said to the soldier, "Can we get a chair for this woman please?" The soldier for a brief second looked and shook his head, then went to get her a chair.
Ohgi was waiting in his office for Roberto, pondering what to say to him in regards to Hokkaido Island. "Today will be a historical day for Japan," he pondered to himself, "I hope everything plays out well." As he continued to think, Roberto opened the door and greeted Ohgi. "Please to meet Prime Minister Ohgi." said Roberto as he extended hi Robot arm. Ohgi smiled and shook his hand. "The feeling is mutual." he said. Meanwhile outside, Milly was sitting down with her hands on her enormous stomach. Rojas and Carlos were standing next to her, making sure that everything was okay. You are excited to become a mom are you Milly." Rojas said. Milly smiled and replied, "You have no idea how much I waited for this." As she thought about becoming a mother, she felt as small ounce of pain in her stomach. "Ow." she softly said. "You ok Milly?" asked Carlos. "The baby just kicking a little harder then usual." she answered. Then she groaned and put her hands on her belly. "I'm beginning to think it's not just kicking." said Rojas. Then what else could it BYAAA!" she belted out as she felt liquid pour to her feet. She then came to the realization that her water broke and that she was going into labor. "Rojas, get Roberto. Tell him that it is time." she said to Rojas.
"In recognition of Japan being an independent country once again and to usher a bright future between Japan and The Holy Empire of Faithmaria, the signing of this treaty will not only return Hokkaido Island back to it's rightful owners, but will also secure the future of our two great nations." said Roberto. "On behalf of the people of Japan, I am pleased to have concluded this negotiation and the people will be happy that Japan is whole once more." said Ohgi. Just when they were about to shake hands, the sound of the door opening caused them to look at that direction. "Roberto," said Rojas, "Milly went into Labor, we have to get to the hospital now." Roberto wa lost for words, he knew something like this would happen, but didn't expect it to be at this very moment. He looked back at Ohgi with an anxious expression on his face. "Quick, give me the papers." Roberto demanded. Not saying a word, Ohgi gave him the treaty. In a second Roberto sign the treaty and gave it back to Ohgi. "Congratulation. Hokkaido is yours and I leave the rest to you." Roberto hastily said, then he ran outside, with Ohgi looking puzzled.
Later that day at a nearby hospital, Milly gave birth to twins. Holding both her newborns in her arms, Milly looked at them with a smile on her face. "Aren't you both just so adorable? Yes you are." she said to her newborns. Roberto came inside the room. At first, he felt nervous about meeting both his babies. As he approached Milly in her hospital bed, she looked at him. "It's a boy and a girl honey." she said to him. Hearing that made Roberto smile. "Let me see my daughter." he said as he extended his arms and gently grabbed one of the newborns. The infant gently let out a small cry. "Shh, it's okay sweetie. Daddy is here." he said as he took his first look at her face. Soon enough, Roberto felt fatherly love for his daughter. "Look at you, you are so beautiful." he said. The infant opened hers eyes, revealing them to be blue; like her mothers, but her hair was black like her fathers. "We'll name this one Miley, it's a beautiful name for her," said Roberto, "Now let me see my son." Milly position her son better so Roberto can see his face. As Roberto took a look, he was even happier. Out of his sons blond hair were wolf ears; in addition to that, the baby had a tail. His son was a G.E.L, like his father. "Since you named our daughter Miley, we'll name our son Riley. Riley Ricardo Garcia." said Milly. Roberto was pleased to hear this. His son's middle name was named after his late brother. "We're a family now Milly, it's what we always wanted." Roberto said. At that very moment, they kissed and looked back at their son and their daughter.
