At last
" And what do you think you're doing?" Turles had just stopped Sarlya from hitting Chichi by blocking her way.
Sarlya saw Chichi and Bulma turn around. They both looked at her surprised. Sarlya growled as she shouts " Let me at her! She's doing nothing but ruining my chances!"
" That's your reason for attacking her? For your selfish reasons? Pathetic."
Sarlya jumps back as she glares at Turles. " I can't believe you! Going against a girl that was your friend years ago to defend this?"
" I am defending her because she's important. You should join in as well. If it wasn't for her, this whole planet would have been destroyed by now."
Sarlya's mouth opened wide as she balls her hands into fists. " Ugh, how could she be that source people have been talking about for years? It can't be true! She can't be that powerful!"
Turles sighs as he crosses his arms over his chest. " Well, I hate to break it to you, but she is. As of right now, she hasn't unlocked that power all the way, but once she does, she could possibly be unstoppable."
" Lies! I don't believe a word you're saying! You always liked stuffing me with lies before. Why should I believe you now?"
" Sarlya, I'm older now as you can see. People sometimes mature as they age. You though, haven't changed a bit. You're the same spoiled child that thinks you can get everything you want. I find that very disappointing. My younger brother deserves someone better than you."
" Ha! Turles you're just jealous because Goku caught the eye of yours truly. Anyone would be thrilled to know that someone like me loves them."
Bulma and Chichi watch as the two continue to go back and forth. Little by little they began to discover a few things about the girl they barely knew. Bulma was hearing every bit of the conversation, while Chichi tried to watch the battle Raditz and Goku were having with the clone. She thought they were more important than that silly talk those two were having.
As Chichi here focus on the guys, she saw that Raditz had the clone in a choke-hold. The clone tried its best to wiggle out of the hold but couldn't. Goku had took a step back and slammed his fist right in the middle of the clone. The impact was so much, that it knocked the clone out. Raditz then throws the clone as far as he can. The clone flies off and lands a good distance from them.
" Kakarot, now that the clone is away from us, we are going to send a energy blast and blow it up." Raditz begins to gather energy into both of his hands.
Goku does as he is told, but instead the sphere shaped energy rapidly grows large compared to Raditz's that was taking longer. Chichi suddenly had the urge to run over to Raditz and place her hand on his back. She felt as if she could help make the energy grow faster. Taking a quick glance over at Turles and Bulma, she sees that both are looking away. Sarlya was too focused on Turles to catch her running. Chichi takes her chance and runs over to the other Saiyans.
One she gets to them, she places a hand on Raditz's back. He quickly turns his head to look behind. He sees that it's Chichi. Goku also looks back and gives her a confused look.
" Chichi what are you doing here? Aren't ya suppose to be back with the others?" Goku asked as Raditz shakes his head. " Turles is so responsible, isn't he? He hasn't noticed that you have run off."
" I don't know why, but I got this strange feeling of coming over and placing my hand on you Raditz." Chichi says as she sees a lime green flame begin to form around her body. " I'm getting the feeling that this will help make your energy grow faster."
The lime green flame grows hot as Chichi tries her best to deliver the power over to Raditz. In seconds, he was covered by the flame and the energy became large in his hands. Both Goku and Raditz stared at his hands astonished. She was able to pass the power stored inside her to others. Chichi takes her hand off of Raditz's back as she takes a few steps back.
" Nice going Chichi! Whatever you just did boosted Raditz's power up."
" Yes, well done. But now we must throw these blasts at the clone before it awakens." Raditz says, as he nods his head at Goku.
Goku nods back and says to Chichi " You better move farther away. The power might send you flying back."
Chichi doesn't waste time and runs back to where the others were at. She notices that they still were rambling on about their past. Chichi sighed, honestly Sarlyn was serving as a big distraction to them. If someone had took her away, they wouldn't have noticed at all. She places her eyes at the scene in front of her. Raditz and Goku had both their hands back. In a flash, they aim toward the clone and let the blasts go. It was so loud and powerful that it made the ground shake. Also got everyone's attention again. Chichi felt a tap on her shoulder. She sees that's it's Bulma.
" Those guys seriously have a ton of power huh?"
Chichi nods her head as she says " Yeah, I'm sure that it won't be as hard to destroy the last two clones left."
Bulma smiles as she says " Yes, we finally are almost done with all this! Once the two clones are destroyed, this planet will be at peace again. That also means you'll be leaving us."
" Yeah…that's right. You all won't be needing my help anymore." Chichi looks down at the ground sadly. " I won't be able to see you guys, especially Goku."
Bulma's smile fades slowly. That was right, they weren't going to see each other. Just thinking about it makes her scratch her head. To think she wanted to try to hook those two up. But what difference would it make if Chichi was eventually going to leave? They would probably end up heartbroken from the separation. For sure Chichi wouldn't want to stay here. She probably misses her family. Bulma looks up at the sky. She was okay with staying here. Her family never gave her any attention. She was basically all alone in a huge building. At least here she ended up meeting Vegeta. Vegeta was kind to her when she first arrived. It's just recently that he was acting strange. But whatever, he was for sure going to get over it soon.
" Bulma?" hearing Chichi makes Bulma snap out of her thoughts.
" Uh yeah, it's really sad." She says as she sees Raditz and Goku heading their way.
" Well, we got that clone outta the way. Lets just hope the other two won't take as long to find." Goku says as he looks to the side. He sees Turles and Sarlyn talking.
" Wow, I guess Turles found someone to talk to now." Goku laughs as the others join in.
" Maybe now she won't be on you as much anymore." Bulma tells Goku as he smiles at her. " Yeah, it's definitely for the best. The way she was on me all the time seems unhealthy."
" Absolutely, you need space as well as her." Raditz says as he sees Turles break the conversation he was having with Sarlyn.
Turles pulls Sarlyn by the arm as they make their way over to the rest of the group. Turles smiles at Goku as he pushes Sarlyn forward.
" Sarlyn here has something to tell you." Turles says, a smirk appears on his face.
" What is it Sarlyn?" Goku asks, as he sees her look down.
" I…I just wanted to say that…I won't be able to go along with you. I have to head back to finish some unfinished business at home. Sorry Goku, I'm sure you're sad that I have to go right?"
Goku felt a sense of relief. Finally, he was going to get this girl off his shoulders. He decides to act upset so she doesn't change her mind.
" Oh, it's too bad that you won't be able to tag along. But I'm sure we'll see each other someday. It was nice to see you and I hope you arrive home safely."
" Oh thank you Goku!" she immediately hugs him tightly as he pats her back.
She lets go and quickly runs off. She turns slightly and waves goodbye. Goku smiles and waves back as they all see her fly off. Once they couldn't see her anymore, they all happily cheer except for Raditz and Turles that simply smirk.
" Whoo-hoo, now that we got her out of the way, we'll be able to focus more." Goku glances over at Chichi. " And I'll be able to keep an eye on you more now Chichi. Sarlyn was making it really hard."
Chichi nods her head. " Yes and now you'll also be able to continue training me. Or you forgot about it already?"
Goku blinks a few times and laughs " Nah, not at all. We're just gonna have to be extra careful. Don't want what happen last time to happen again."
" Yes Goku, be on alert and keep a close eye on Chichi. Alright?" Bulma glares over at him as he nods his head quickly. " Yes, I'll make sure of it. I won't mess up again."
Bulma glances over at Turles and says " Yeah I still don't trust him. Mind following them when they go out for the training sessions? It won't be too long I'm sure."
Turles huffs as he replies back " Why can't you go along with them? You are the one that doesn't trust Kakarot."
" Turles seriously don't be lazy! It's not hard to look after your brother and Chichi!" Bulma pokes him on the chest. " I have to see if I can create a locator just in case we need one. I'm getting the feeling that we might need to split up. We are kind of almost out of time."
" How do you know that Bulma?" Chichi asks as Bulma turns to face her. " I can tell from nature around us. You see how the grass and leaves on the trees are turning somewhat brown?"
" Yeah I can see that but doesn't that happen when the season changes?"
Bulma sighs and says " Yeah I know, but here they only have two seasons. Just summer and winter. There's no spring or autumn here. Why that is, I don't have a clue. I've been trying to figure it out myself. But that explains why it's odd that the grass and trees are turning brown. Cause they don't."
Chichi tries to suck all the info she was receiving. It did sound like things weren't exactly going well.
" But for now, we'll take a break for two days for you to get your training in. After that, we'll divide up into teams. Turles, Goku and Chichi will go together to find one of the clones and Raditz, Vegeta and I will go find the other. And don't worry, Vegeta will have to go. One of the last clones is a replica of him after all."
" Thanks for the heads up Bulma. I guess I'm going to try staying away from your home for a few." Goku chuckles as Raditz and Turles look at each other.
Turles looks back at Bulma and says " Yes, I'm not staying close by. I'm sure an argument will break out between the two of you."
" I'm not going to stick around either." Raditz says as he looks up at the sky. " I don't want to be listening to you yelling for hours."
Bulma pouts for a sec. and then frowns. " You guys act as if it's going to be the worst talk ever. Vegeta isn't that bad. I'd be so glad if for once you'd see his good side."
" Yeah, that won't happen especially in front of us." Turles says as Goku shakes his head. " Yeah he's got a point. Vegeta has never done that from all the years we've known him."
" Whatever, just go on and do what you guys got to do. I'm going to be in my Capsule home if any of you need me." Bulma says as she pulls out a round shape object and sends it flying.
It instantly blows up and her home appears. She heads towards it as she opens the door without taking a look back. The rest remain outside thinking about what they were going to do.
" I will be heading out for a while. Turles keep an eye on these two. Make sure they don't do anything reckless." Raditz tells his brother as Turles nods.
" Don't worry I'll stay with them. I have to help out with the training anyways."
Without another word, Raditz flies off leaving Goku, Chichi and Turles behind.
" Soo, you guys wanna go walk around?" Goku asks, breaking the silence.
" You and walks Kakarot. When will you ever offer something else besides a walk?" Turles then hears a loud growl.
Goku laughs sheepishly as he rubs his stomach. " Ha, I guess more like going out to catch fish or hunting for something. I'm kinda hungry."
Turles slaps his forehead as Chichi tries not to giggle.
" Fine, lets go search for food. Lead the way Kakarot." Turles motions for Goku to go first.
Goku obeys and starts to walk first as Chichi then Turles follow behind. After they had done a good amount of walking and searching, they found a somewhat large river. Goku was the first to run to it excited. He crouched down by it and could see his reflection in the water. He also could see a good quantity of fish swimming around.
" All right! This river gotta lot of fish!" he happily says, as Turles and Chichi stand on either side of him.
" Lets fish." Turles says as he and Goku take their boots off and step into the water.
Chichi watches as they both begin to catch fish with their bare hands. They were both quick enough to grab a hold of them. By the time she knew it, there was a pile of them in front of her. The guys turn back and look at the pile and agreed that it would be sufficient amount for the three of them. They both get out of the water and look over at Chichi.
" Well, we got the fish. All we need to do is get a fire started. You mind helping us gather some firewood?" Goku asked, as Chichi quickly replies " Yes, I was waiting for you two to ask me to do something."
" Okay then lets get to it." Goku grabs a hold of Chichi's hand as they take off.
" Hey, are you two forgetting about something?" Both stop and turn to look at Turles. " I'm suppose to keep an eye on you both."
" Aw c'mon Turles! We're just gonna go over there. We'll still be at viewing distance from ya."
" Fine, but if something happens, you're the one that's going to get it, understand?"
" Yup, crystal clear. See ya!" Goku pulls Chichi along with him as they run off together.
Turles watches them leave and hopes that nothing out of hand happens. Sometimes he would ask himself why he trusted his younger brother so much? He shakes his head and goes on to search for wood.
" I can't believe you managed to convince Turles to let us go by ourselves. You know he could get into a lot of trouble." Chichi says as she starts to pick a few fallen branches.
" Nah, he won't get into trouble. I mean he can still see us. We aren't that far away." Goku says, as he breaks off some branches from trees.
" Then why'd we separate? We could have been doing this with him too."
Goku breaks a branch and slowly flies down. He throws the branch aside and looks at Chichi. " Cause I wanted to have a little alone time. With you."
Chichi's mouth slightly opens as her cheeks turn rosy pink. He continues to stare into her eyes as she looks away. She couldn't handle staring back at him. She felt as if she was going to pass out. Rubbing her arm, she stares up at the sky.
" That's really nice of you to want that. But you know, don't you have something with Sarlyn?"
Goku takes a step closer to her as she again looks up at him. His dark orbs soften as he says " I never did. I only went along with what she said so I wouldn't hurt her feelings. Honestly though, for you I do. I don't know how to tell you this but, I care a lot about you. Each time I see you or hear you, my heart begins to beat fast. I can't control it."
His face changes to a sad one as he says quietly " And when that whole thing happen with the berries, I was devastated. I didn't know if I'd ever forgive myself if we would have lost you. Plus we're almost done with destroying the clones. After we're finished, you'll be going home I'm sure. So, I want to tell you now that I have the chance, I…I love you. Whatever time we have remaining, I want to spend it with you."
At that moment, Chichi felt tears running down her face. She placed her hands on his cheeks and looked at him sadly " But if we do get close, wouldn't it break your heart when I leave? I don't want to do that to you."
Goku pulls her closer to him and says " No I won't, I'll hurt me more if you don't give me anytime at all. I'll be left here wondering what it would have been like to be with you. Please, it's all I'm asking."
Chichi burst out into more tears as she hugs him tightly. Through her sobs she tells him " Okay, I'll do it and Goku, I love you too."
He buries his face into her dark locks and embraces her. He didn't want this moment to end.
In the distance, a pair of eyes watched them. Turles shakes his head as he heads over to the pile of fish.
'Looks like Kakarot has finally met his match. Heh, guess he outmatched Raditz and I.'
Turles lets go of the wood in his arms to the ground. 'I do hope that this won't cause havoc in the future. Having the Aura and the strongest out of all of us together sounds frightening.'
Turles begins to pick up some rocks. He then hears Goku shouting " Hey Turles! I got some great news!"
Turles looks up and sees his brother running holding hands with Chichi.
" What is it?"
Goku and Chichi stop in front of him and smile at each other. They both simultaneously say joyfully " We're together now!"
Turles smirks as he says " I guess that's why you wanted to have a little private moment huh little brother? Well congratulations, you better hope that the rest will approve of this."
" If they don't, oh well." Goku laughs as he and Chichi look at each other happily.
And there we have it guys! GoChi are finally together for a little time! A little sad but, at least they will have the remainder time to spend together right? Anyways, well that's it for this chap. Hope you guys liked it and I'll see you on the next chapter!
