"Shouto, can you explain what is happening?"

Her boyfriend smile faded and replaced with a small frown as his mismatch eyes flashed with uncertainty. He flickered his eyes at their gathered friends. All of them shifted in their spots, lips pressed into a tiny frown as their eyes darted between them with concern. Answers was all she needed.

I'm just at a loss of what is happening here.

Shouto took a deep breath and wrapped his hand around her wrist. He dragged her to the furthest corners of the bleachers, mismatch eyebrows knitted together and eyes focused on the borders while their friends just stared at them with knitted eyebrows. The fact he wasn't even sparing a glance at her, made her stomach roll with concern.

He dropped her wrist and turned his whole body around to face her. Mismatch eyes flashed with uncertainty as Shouto slid his hands into his pockets. Seconds passed before her boyfriend finally opened his mouth. "Didn't you tell me you want to make some happy memories with friends? Aren't they your friends too?"

His eyebrows creased together as his mismatch eyes gazed down at her. Naruto blinked and blinked. There were so many words on the tip of her tongue but they died down. He brought Bakugou and Kirishima because of me. He remembered my words. Her throat dried up and she faltered slightly as mismatch eyes looked down at her.

He got them extra tickets because he wanted me to have some more happy memories.

She rubbed her eyes.

Endeavour must not have been happy with his request.

"Naruto?" Shouto's voice bulldozed her thoughts, colliding and reminding her he was here right beside her. He brought them here to make some happy memories for us.She kept repeating those words in her head like a chant as mismatch eyes stared at her with concern and uncertainty.

"Why? Didn't he get angry?" She nibbled her bottom lip and swallowed down the lump forming in her throat.

Shouto rubbed the back of his neck. "He wasn't happy but Endeavour didn't try to convince me not to bring them. He just grumbled like an old man and gave me two extra tickets the next day."

Silence hung between them for a couple of seconds as the explosives from behind them died down. There was no words that could describe what she felt because Naruto wasn't very good in describing her feelings. But there was a flutter in her stomach and maybe it was pure happiness. Happiness even though she could hear Bakugou trying to pick a fight with Midoriya.

That boy really was like an angry kitten whenever Midoriya was around.

"Why did you give the tickets to Bakugou and Kirishima?" Naruto knitted her eyebrows together and flickered her eyes at Bakugou and Kirishima. You aren't really close to either of them. Her throat itched to say those words but it would demean the actions Shouto did. It made seem like she wasn't grateful for what he did and she was.

So grateful that Naruto was tempted to kiss him.

"I tried to give it to Midoriya but he already had a ticket." Shouto darted his eyes to Bakugou and Kirishima before looking back at her. "I already planned to give Bakugou one ticket from the beginning since the two of you are quite close. But Bakugou refused to come with me, claiming he would only come if I bring Kirishima."

"He thought you didn't have a ticket, didn't he?" Amusement leaked out of her tone while mismatch eyes shone and glinted with humor. This was the kind of look Shouto should always have. When his eyes glinted like that, it made him seem even more handsome and that was not a compliment she would give away too easily.

"Luckily Midoriya turned me down or else I might have taken drastic measures to bring him along." No emotion leaked out of Shouto's voice and his expression was void, not allowing Naruto to figure out if he was being serious or not. She chewed on her bottom lip and chuckled at the slight crinkle in the corner of Shouto's mouth.

That was a poor attempt of a joke but she would take it. Because Shouto was trying to show his emotionsand that was difficult for her boyfriend. Showing emotions when you have been taught to suppress them for so long wasn't easy to break. She quirked her lips into a tiny smile.

"We are lucky Kirishima came," Shouto raised an eyebrow and Naruto looked at Kirishima. "He is one of the few people that have enough patience to deal with Bakugou and laugh it off when he gets angry, or antagonize him."

Shouto sighed and tilted his head. "I don't understand what I do to antagonize him."

"It is Bakugou. He has a weird way of communicating with people." She quirked her lips slightly and allowed her fondness for her classmate to leak out of her voice. It was funny. When Middle School started, she hated Bakugou. He was arrogant and a bully but somewhere along the way he changed her mind. She chuckled. "Maybe Kirishima should teach us how to translate Bakugou's talk."

"And how to deal with someone that has the personality of the devil." Naruto raised an eyebrow at Shouto and lightly smacked him on the shoulder before glancing at Bakugou and Midoriya. That might be funny but he has to learn how to get along with him.She shook her head and wondered if maybe it was time for Bakugou and Shouto to bond over something.

It would also be a good idea for her to lock Bakugou and Midoriya in a closet so they could talk things out.

"Are you happy with what I did?"

Naruto beamed and wrapped her arms around the boy's waist, pulling him into a hug. The hard planes of his chest rubbed against her, a constant reminder her boyfriend had a wonderful set of muscles that she might want to see. Not now of course. Their relationship was just too early for that thing.

She wanted to kiss him too as a way to show him of how happy he made her. But their relationship needed to be kept a secret from everyone.

"I didn't come here to see this lovey-dovey shit!" Bakugou's voice boomed from across the bleachers, forcing Naruto and Shouto to stop hugging. All of the blood in Naruto's body rushed to her face and Shouto flushed a light shade of red. Leave it to him to ruin our hug.She bit back the urge to pout.

"That wasn't lovey-dovey!" Bakugou snorted and Naruto balled her hands into a fist as her eyebrows twitched. "Friends can hug too!"

Shouto tugged Naruto's sleeves and she turned around, blinking when her boyfriend raised an eyebrow and leaned down till his breath tickled her ears. She bit back the urge to giggle at the sudden tickle. It wasn't fair for him to do this to her, not when her ears might be one of her most sensitive areas.

"Friends?" Disappointment leaked out of his voice as his hair brushed against her cheeks. What does he use on his hair? It feels so soft. She bit her tongue and swallowed the wave of giggles trying to escape from her mouth. This was not the time for her to laugh, especially not when her boyfriend was befuddled by her words.

"They can be quite the busybody," Naruto lowered her voice and stared at their friends. All of them tilted their heads and knitted their eyebrows together. "And I want this to be a secret."

Shouto thinned his lips. "Why? Are you ashamed to be with me?"

"No!" Naruto shook her head and straightened her back as her blue eyes locked onto him. "But they are going to question and tease us a lot about our relationship! I want to live in this little bubble between us for at least six months, until this whole thing is stable before we tell them."

"They are going to find out sooner or later." Shouto dropped his head down and stared right into her eyes. "Do you honestly believe that all of our classmates won't figure things out until after the six months are up?"

She bobbed her head. "Do you wanna make a bet about that?"

Shouto tilted his head to the side as his mismatch eyes flashed with curiosity. "What is the bet?"

"I bet by the end of the six months, not everyone in the class will figure our relationship." She whispered into his ear as everyone blinked at them. Shouto raised an eyebrow, taken back by her words and he flickered his eyes to their friends. All of them tilted their heads and raised an eyebrow at them.

He held his hand up at them and looked down at her. "I give them a month."

For a moment, Naruto just stared at Shouto. A month? Really? She knitted her eyebrows together and folded her hands over her chest before lowering her voice. "Do you honestly believe we are that obvious?"

Shouto nodded and eyed her lips. The desire leaking out of his eyes made Naruto tremble and a part of her did want to kiss him. But it would prove him right. She looked away, allowing the blush to rise to her face. She steadied her arms and chewed on her bottom lip. After a couple of seconds, she looked back at him.

"What do you want if you win this bet?"

Naruto hummed a small tune and stroked her chin. "Can you tell me how you reacted when Nejire-chan sent you that image of me in that dress? She didn't tell me how you reacted to it."

Shouto's cheeks grew a bright shade of red and Naruto quirked her lips into a smile. A small giggle escaped from her lips as her boyfriend rubbed the back of his neck, not looking her in the eye. She could now imagine what had been his mind and it took her by surprise. Because she couldn't have look that good to him.

Maybe it was her not being used to wearing a dress that made Naruto think like this.

"And what will I get if I win?" Shouto asked, raising an eyebrow at her.

Naruto grinned. "I will do whatever you want."

A part of her knew it was a dangerous promise but if there was one thing Naruto liked, it was the excitement and thrill that came from danger.

And this type of danger wasn't going to kill her.

There were so many attractions in I-Island. All of them was as colorful as a rainbow but that was for the children, or so Naruto's cousin explained to them before they separated into smaller groups or pairs in the case of Naruto and Todoroki. One day when Suna had enough money, maybe Gaara would do something like this for the children of his village.

Suna didn't have many things that could be fun for children.

He flickered his eyes to Yaoyorozu and her friend Jirou. Between the various people Naruto knew, he felt the most comfortable going with Yaoyorozu and Jirou. He knew them at least. Sure Gaara could have gone with Todoroki and Naruto, but the tension between them was so thick that a piece of knife could slice it.

Those two were even worse than his sister and that Shikamaru.

"I'm surprised you didn't try to invite Naruto with you." Gaara admitted, drawing Yaoyorozu and Jirou attention away from one of the machines. He flickered his eyes to the couple holding hands together, smiles playing on their faces. "I thought the two of you were close."

"Yaoyorozu wanted to do it with all the girls around." Gaara blinked and turned his head away, teal eyes focused on Jirou. The girl slipped her hands into her pockets, letting out a tiny sigh while Yaoyorozu grimaced, not looking happy with the reminder. Gaara almost felt guilty for reminding her but nothing else seemed to come out of his mind.

He wasn't a hero and they weren't shinobi, so this was what he could talk about without letting them know something was off about him. Gaara sighed. If it wasn't for the fact he needed more information for Suna, he would have returned back to Suna by now. The intense heat against his face was just one of the things he missed.

"Then why didn't you do it?" A small frown played on his lips as he focused his eyes on Yaoyorozu. The black-haired girl chewed on her bottom lip, looked at the machines for a couple of minutes before looking back at him. Hesitance colored her eyes, almost making Gaara blink. Why was she hesitating? He wouldn't get angry.

"Todoroki-san was going to get a ticket because of who his father was, and I thought he would give it to her." Yaoyorozu took a deep breath and frowned. "Todoroki-san is really close with Uzumaki-san so I just presume he would give one to her. He really likes her."

Gaara blinked and after a couple of seconds, he nodded. There was no denying Todoroki seemed to really care and like Naruto, even knowing where she came from and her occupation. And I think Naruto likes him too.It was a surprise too. He always presumed Naruto liked Sasuke but she acted different around Todoroki.

He didn't mind because out of all the boys he knew, Todoroki might be one of the better guys for her.

"Naruto likes him too," He informed, looking at a family of three for a couple of seconds before looking at the two girls. Jirou and Yaoyorozu didn't look surprise at his words, nodding their heads and letting out a sigh. But Yaoyorozu frowned after a couple of seconds and tilted her head at him.

He frowned. "Is something wrong, Yaoyorozu?"

"Don't you have feelings for Uzumaki-san?" For a second, Gaara could only blink as his mind went blank at the question. What could he tell her? He doesn't want to give the wrong impression to her. Naruto was so many things to him but romantic love was never in the cards for them. If romantic love was what was around Todoroki and Naruto, then he definitely never looked at Naruto like that.

She might have snapped him out of his beliefs and made him see the light, but it would be weird to be in love with her.

"I mean the two of you are childhood friends!" The words came out like speeding bullets as Yaoyorozu rubbed the back of her neck, not looking him in the eye. Jirou blinked, almost making Gaara wonder if this was not normal Yaoyorozu's behaviour. From the limited interactions he had with her, he knew this wasn't her normal behavior. "It makes sense if you like her."

She had some poise in her words whenever they meet.

"Naruto helped me in a difficult period of my life but that doesn't mean I'm in love with her in that way." He explained, staring her right in the eye. Yaoyorozu stared at him for a couple of seconds before nodding her head. She offered him a tiny smile while Jirou eyed the two of them, lips pressed into a smile before fading into a frown.

"Uzumaki helped you? But isn't she a little bit closed off?" Jirou asked, knitting her eyebrows together and waving her ear at them.

Gaara stared at her for a good couple of seconds, frowned and sighed. "Naruto wasn't always like this. When she was twelve, Naruto was a whole different person to the girl you know. The girl that is coming out now seems more like the Naruto I knew."

"What happened to her?" Curiosity leaked out of Yaoyorozu's voice and the girl knitted her eyebrows.

The red-haired boy sighed. "I can't tell you?"

"Why not?" Jirou frowned and looked at the amplifier in front of them. She slid her hands into the pocket of her pants, tilting her head to the side. "Uzumaki hasn't ever talked about her past before."

Gaara inhaled deeply. "And there is a reason she hasn't done it. If Naruto didn't tell you then I won't tell you because that is her story to tell you." He paused and bobbed his head. "But I can tell you that Naruto used to be really open with people, always eager to make friends and challenging them. Sometimes, you couldn't get her to shut up…she was a little bit like Bakugou."

Silence hung between them as the girls processed what he informed them. He leaned against his foot, shifting the weight to his right foot and stared at the girls. A part of him knew it was hard to believe but watching Bakugou arguing with Midoriya reminded him of Naruto. Except, Midoriya was no Sasuke. Sasuke would have taunted back, getting a rise of the girl.

"Bakugou?" Jirou choked out. "I find that hard to believe!"

Yaoyorozu shook her head. "I can actually see it when you put it in that way."

"Really?" Jirou swirled her head at the black-haired girl as Gaara stared at the girl. "Have you seen how Uzumaki act? She doesn't scream as loud as Bakugou or yell out that she is going to be the Number One Hero."

"But her advice is to act like the Head Bitch in Charge." Gaara blinked, taken back by the swear word spilling out of Yaoyorozu's mouth. He felt his lips twitched at the flushed cheeks of the girl while Jirou blinked. It seemed like it was not wrong for him to presume the girl didn't have a foul mouth like Naruto. It might change if she spend more time with Naruto.

There was just certain habits you picked up from the girl.

"When did she give an advice like that?" Jirou demanded.

Yaoyorozu relaxed her shoulders and let out a tiny sigh. "Do you remember the first lesson we had with All Might? Mineta was acting like a horrendous pervert and kept looking at me like a piece of meat. Uzumaki told me to ignore him and act like that because I can't be a wallflower."

"But you aren't a wallflower," The taller girl blinked and gawked at him while Gaara locked his eyes on her. Her intelligence grabs people's attention. He rubbed the back of his neck. "Your intelligence and the way you talk can really grab people's attention."

Yaoyorozu slumped her shoulders, looking put out by his words while Jirou shook her head. Did he say something wrong? He was being honest with her. Most people didn't talk with that much confidence towards him or look him in the eye. Not even Jirou kept looking at his eyes like she did. It was a good thing if you asked him.

He didn't understand what was wrong with his words.

Then again, girls were just confusing to him.

Shouto did not fully understand why their classmates and friends decided not to come with them to the carnival in the pavilion, but he couldn't exactly complain being left alone with Naruto. With so many couples and families in the various stands, neither him nor Naruto seemed to stand out so much. In fact, it was so crowded that he doubt many people would spot them.

He flickered his eyes to Naruto and curled his lips into a smile as his girlfriend clapped her hands at the machine being demonstrated to the crowds. Childish joy sparkled in her eyes alongside a smile that was as large as a piece of paper. This was what Shouto wanted to see from Naruto.

"So what do you think of I-Island so far?" Shouto looked at the smiling couples and then to the bright blue sky. So many clouds in various shapes strolled through the sky. Some of them looked like a duck while others reminded him of a cat. He darted his eyes back at Naruto, who tore her eyes away from the machine.

"From what I saw so far?" He nodded and Naruto tilted her head, crinkling her eyebrows together as her pink tongue darted out of her lips. He shifted to the left and swallowed down the lump that decided out of nowhere to form. Naruto grinned. "The technology here is more advanced than the tech in Japan!"

Shouto bobbed. There was no denying I-Island did have technology so much more advanced than the ones in Japan. Even when they walked around, he saw transport systems being developed with technology he had never seen before. I believe Shield said something about plasm. He didn't pay much attention to the explanation, not when it flew over his head.

There was just a small possibility Naruto distracted him with her smiles.

"Y'know since none of our classmates are here, we can hold hands." Shouto blinked as Naruto eyed his hand. She chewed on the inner corner of her lips, darted her eyes everywhere before grabbing his left hand. It was strange but the warmth of her hand felt good. Too good if you asked him because his hand tingled with pleasantness.

Then again, he always felt that way when Naruto touched him.

"You don't mind if we hold hands in public?" Hesitance leaked out of Naruto's voice, reminding Shouto again that despite her confidence and affections, his girlfriend was just like him. He shook his head and looked down at their hands. With their hands like this, he could really see the difference between their sizes.

"I like it." He smiled down and his lips twitched when Naruto flushed a brighter shade of red. Only he could make her like this and that made him special to her. The blonde cleared her throat and looked away from him. A small chuckle escaped his lips and Shouto followed his girlfriend's gaze.

He blinked and realized Naruto was eyeing at the stand that had a bunch of cards and a lineup of teddy bears on display. Mismatch eyes flickered to the blond-haired girl. Longing flashed in those blue eyes, almost reminding him again of how Naruto wanted that stuffed fox. Being a good boyfriend means getting her that, isn't it?Yeah, he could do this for her.

Taking a deep breath, Shouto pulled Naruto to the stand, ignoring her protests about not wanting a stuffed bear. Does she think I don't know her? She says one thing but she means another thing. He chuckled and looked back at Naruto. The blonde might have a small scowl playing on her face but there was no denying the hope in her eyes.

"You want to play?" The man asked, holding up a deck of cards. Shouto bobbed his head and unwrapped his hand from Naruto's hand. It might only been a few seconds but he already missed the warmth of her hands. He wanted her hand on him again, but this was more important. Later when they were done with this game, he would hold her hand again.

"If you match the heroes with their gear after one minute, then you can win this teddy bear for your pretty girlfriend." Shouto nodded as the man laid the cards on the table, flipping them down and shuffling them around. From beside him, the mismatch boy could see Naruto was the same shade of red as his hair. It should be a cute sight if it wasn't for the fact the redness seemed to be going lower than her neck.

He bit back a groan.

Taking a deep breath, Shouto began to match up the various heroes to the various gears. It was a good thing Endeavour drilled him over the various heroes and their gears or rather he complained about them. It wasn't a hard game but that sand clock kept mocking him as the sand fell down to the bottom.

From the look of the sand, he might only have five seconds left.

"Done." The stand owner blinked and blinked, eyes widening as he stared at the line up of gears and heroes. After a couple of seconds, the man let out a small whistle and bobbed his head. Shouto eyed the various teddy bears, locking eyes on the orange teddybear on display. He took a deep breath and pointed to the orange teddy bear.

"I want that one."

Out of the various colours on display, Shouto knew Naruto would be upset if he gave her anything but an orange teddybear.

"Are you sure?" The man knitted his eyebrows. "You don't want the pink teddybear? Or even the red one?"

Shouto nodded and held his hand up. The standowner sighed, turned his body around and handed him the teddy bear with the orange fur. Taking a deep breath, the mismatch boy clicked his heels together and looked down at the blond-haired girl. Blue eyes blew up at the sight of the teddy bear and Shouto placed the teddy bear in her hands.

"You are really going to give it to me?" Surprised coloured her tone and Shouto paused before bobbing his head. Seconds passed as his girlfriend looked down at the teddy bear. Wasn't she happy? It was not like the first time he gave her a stuffed toy as a present. But now we are dating. It still sounded weird in his mind.

But it was a good weird.

Finally, Naruto grinned and placed the teddy bear down on the ground before tip-toeing to give him a peck in the lips. A part of him knew he was playing with fire for his next actions but he really wanted to show her, how much he liked her. He placed his hand behind her head and pulled her in for a deeper kiss.

His heart raced against his chest as his hand reached out to her hairtie, pulling it open. His fingers combed through her hair, detangling any tangles in her hair.

After a couple of seconds, Naruto pulled away from him. Her cheeks flushed red and blue eyes stared at him with wonder and embarrassment. He chuckled as the blonde squeaked and picked up the teddy bear, clutching it against her chest before throwing a playful glare at him.

It had to be playful if he couldn't see any anger in them.

"You are lucky, Mister!" Naruto declared, juggling the teddy bear closer to her chest and wiggling her finger at him. "If I didn't know none of our classmates were here, I woulda thought that you did that on purpose and that would have been cheating!"

"But since you pecked me on the lips, I knew we were safe since you know better than to kiss me in public with our classmates watching us." He curled his lips into a smile and allowed some amusement to leak out of his voice. "So this wasn't technically me trying to cheat."

"You are going to find ways to make them realize, aren't you? You really want to win this bet, don't you?"

Shouto chuckled and nodded. Because as much as he wanted to let Naruto win, he knew it wouldn't be fun for her if he made it easy for her. It goes to show she influenced me in some way.He sighed and looked up at the sky before looking at his girlfriend. With a small smile playing on his lips, he wrapped his arm around her waist and took her to the next demonstration.

He never noticed a man with ash-gray hair and onyx eyes watching them.

It would only be a day later that he would meet this man and make him wonder where he stood in his relationship with Naruto. Because his girlfriend never mentioned how close she had been to Sasuke.
