The drive to Mike and Zoey's house with fairly fast and Duncan was getting a hard on just knowing that he manipulated Courtney into taking him there and in moments, he would be reunited with his Husband once and for all.
"Duncan, we're going to be in and out." Courtney reminded him as they pulled into the drve-way.
"Yeah, in and out..." Duncan confirmed with a nod. "Can I wear my wedding band?"
"I don't think that's a good idea." Courtney reminded him. "I thought you said you just wanted to wish them well?"
"Can I hold it at least? I'll keep it in my pocket." Duncan promised and Courtney rolled her eyes and sighed.
"It stays in your pocket at all times, Duncan." Courtney told him with a firm tone. "If I see it out, I'm flushing it."
'It's fine, I'm not wearing it...' Duncan thought to himself. 'Not yet anyway.'
Courtney took Duncan's hand and they walked to the door and Duncan was all too eager to ring the doorbell. Zoey answered and it took every ounce of restraint to not yell at her for taking his life away. This was clearly all Zoey's fault, no matter what Courtney said.
"Oh, hey Courtney!" Zoey happily greeted and looked at Duncan. "Duncan."
"Hi Zoey, we just wanted to stop by and wish you and Mike the best." Courtney smiled. "We won't waste too much of your time, Duncan just wanted to wish Mike the best on his new found freedom after everything that happened."
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Zoey asked and pointed to Duncan. "How is he doing?"
"I'm doing fine, I'm standing here and you could ask me yourself." Duncan huffed at Zoey and crossed his arms.
"Would...would you like to come inside?" Zoey asked, slightly hesitant. "Mike and I were just about to have some tea. You're more then welcome to join us."
"Mal hates tea, Mal would always drink coff-" Duncan went to say and Courtney quickly covered his mouth.
"We'd love to." Courtney smiled and welcomed them into their home.
Duncan sat quietly and stared at Mike who was drinking his tea. Duncan made note of how much sugar he put into it and that Mike seemed to like honey in his tea. That made Duncan irrationally mad.
'Mal, you'd never drink this shit.' Duncan thought to himself and tapped his fingers on the table. 'You know that and I know that. Stop playing these games and take me home.'
"Everything okay, Duncan?" Zoey asked when she noticed Duncan was the only one not drinking his tea.
'No, you stole my Mal...' Duncan thought to himself.
"Uh, yeah I'm fine." Duncan awkwardly laughed and looked back at Mike. "So, uh Maike-Mike, how is everyhing with you?"
"It's been pretty good and I'm just glad the judge understood that it wasn't me who did all of this." Mike smiled and took a sip of his tea. "Again, I'd like to apologize to you about everything that happened between you and M-him."
'Say his name.' Duncan thought to himself. 'Say your name.'
"You mean Mal?" Duncan asked Mike. Zoey and Courtney seemed shocked. "You can say the name around me. I'm fine with hearing it, he's who I know."
"You knew." Zoey corrected Duncan who glared at her. "Mal is gone and that's a good thing. Mike and I can finally be together."
"It's like nothing has changed in our relationship." Mike blushed. "We're picking up right where we left off."
'Fuck no, that's not what Mal would want.' Duncan rolled his eyes. 'Mal would kill Zoey if he could. Mal never liked Zoey much, he always told me that Zoey was a bitch who wanted to keep us apart.'
"Ma-Mike, I need to pee." Duncan announced to the room and they all looked at him strange.
"Uh, the bathroom is upstairs..." Mike told Duncan who nodded. "I need to get something anyway, I can show you where the bathroom is if you want."
"Yes!" Duncan happily agreed as Mike led him upstairs to the bathroom.
'This is it!' Duncan thought to himself. 'You sneaky bastard, you just want to get me alone with you and then you're gonna fuck me and take us home!'
Mike led Duncan to the bathroom and smiled at him as he gestured to the bathroom door.
"It's right here, I just need to get something really quick." Mike told Duncan as he walked in and Duncan followed him. "I figured you'd just wait outside. It's fine, I just need to take my medicine really quick."
"You can stop playing games." Duncan told Mike. "I'm thrilled to see you, I'm not going to run away this time."
"Duncan, I'm Mike and I came up here to take my pills." Mike confirmed with him. "Did you think I was...Him?"
"Stop playing games, I want us to stay just how we were." Duncan rolled his eyes and leaned in to kiss Mike who pushed him away.
"Woah Duncan!" Mike yelled. "I said I'm not Mal and I don't want to kiss you or fuck you!"
"Mal, stop playing these damn games with me." Duncan placed his hands on Mike's shoulders and shoved him into a wall. "We both know you planned this and if this is some fucked up test that you want me to prove myself to you in some way then consider it done."
"Zoey!" Mike yelled loud enough for Zoey and Courtney to run up the stairs.
"Duncan!" Zoey came in and yelled. "Stop now or I'm calling the cops!"
"Duncan, Sweetie..." Courtney slowly tried to approach him. "Let Mike go, you can seriously hurt someone and you don't want to to that."
"Mal, are you going to let them talk to me like that?" Duncan asked him and groaned. "Courtney, don't call me Sweetie. I'm taking Mal and we're leaving."
Duncan elbowed the medicine cabinet that was also a mirror to the point the glass shattered on the floor and Duncan picked up a piece and held it to Mike's throat and pulled him close to his chest.
"Here's what's going to happen, I'll slit his throat if you try to stop us from leaving this house and if either of you call the police then I'll have to take further action." Duncan placed the sharp piece closer to Mike who was shaking. "Princess, give me your car keys."
"Duncan, take your wedding ring out of your pocket and play with it..." Courtney tried to tell him. "That's going to bring you back to the reality that Mal is gone and this is wrong..."
"This is the happiest I've been in a month." Duncan told her. "I have my Mal back and if he's not able to step up and help our marriage, that becomes my job."
"Duncan, let me go..." Mike pleaded and Duncan covered his mouth.
"Last time I'm saying this, car keys now." Duncan ordered Courtney who was trying not to panic as she tossed them to Duncan. Duncan pushed passed Zoey and Courtney and made his way down the stairs and out to the car where he opened the passenger seat and pushed Mike into the car and slammed the door shut before he started it up and sped off.
"Duncan, I don't know why you're acting like this but I'm begging you to just let me off on the side of the road or something." Mike pleaded again with Duncan.
"You need to start calling me Sweetie, that's what we're starting with." Duncan informed him as he kept driving. "I still think you're Mal and you're just fucking with me but I have no problem fixing you to get what I want back and what I want is my life."
"Dunc-UrrrrSweetiepie...Do you think maybe we could slow down and you can tell me where we're going?" Mike asked as Duncan glared at him.
"We're going back to where things were normal, Mal." Duncan told Mike, refusing to call him by Mike. "I'm taking us home. Sadly, the police raided that shit by now but I know you always have a plan and I know you prepared us a second home to stay at. It's what we should have done in the first place."
"Dun-Sweetiepie?" Mike asked. "Do you think we could stay in this area so that Zoey can find us?"
"No!" Duncan snapped. "It's over with her and you never liked her, Mal. You're not doing this to me, we got married and I don't appreciate you cheating on me with other people, especially her."
"Didn't you cheat on Ma-me in Australia?" Mike asked and braced himself as Duncan made a sharp turn.
'Okay, Mike...just keep talking to Duncan and try to get him to calm down.' Mike thought to himself and took a few deep breaths.
"Look, I'm sorry Mal I shouldn't have ever tried to start a relationship with Callu-Russel. It was wrong and I understand any punishment you give to me for it. I'll try to do better for us in the future." Duncan sighed and seemed annoyed with himself. "It's all my fault and I'm the one who got us arrested. You were right, it was reckless and foolish of me and I'm truly sorry."
"Sweetiekins?" Mike asked Duncan, trying to get him to come to his senses. "Can I drive?...I mean...pull over right now and let me drive!"
"I can't do that." Duncan shook his head at Mike. "You're not really good at convincing me you're Mal, Mike. If I were to listen to your commands right now, you'd just stop all of this and I'd never get Mal back."
"Nonsense." Mike lied. "I'm...I'm Mal and I'm demanding you pull over this vehicle right now."
"Getting a little better with the convincing, not much but you're getting there." Duncan smirked and lit up a cigarette. "Do you want one, Mal?"
"No, I don't smoke and you shouldn't eithe-" Mike went to say and Duncan started laughing.
"I don't know if you can hear me or not, Mal..." Duncan spoke to himself out loud in the car. "Just know that I'm trying and he's not exactly helping. Mike, I hope you realize that Mal would find this whole thing hot."
"Duncan, I'm going to be honest with you..." Mike sighed. "If Mal gave me control back, he must have felt that he needed to. Mal always had the control over me no matter how much I tried to take it back. If he did this, he in all honesty was trying to protect you in his own way."
"Mike, you don't get our relationship." Duncan told him. "I tried to fight him when it first began and he always insisted that I would need him and he was right. If I just gave up on him, I'd be a terrible Husband to him after everything he's done to provide the life he has for us."
"I just want you to think about everything." Mike told Duncan. "This is what he wanted if he did it. Why can't you accept we both have our freedom now and just move on, Duncan? I'd love to move on with Zoey, she stuck right by me for years even after everything happened and he made me leave her."
"He made you leave her for me." Duncan glared at Mike. "He took care of me and that basically means that you took care of me. I don't consider that body to even be yours, it's Mal's."
"If I stayed as Mal for you, you'd be in jail, Duncan." Mike told him and crossed his arms. "If I'm being completely honest with you, I only know some of the things that happened between the two of you, I wouldn't even say half of them. The truth is, I only know you briefly from All-Stars and watching you on the show. I don't know you like that or really...at all."
"You're gonna know me." Duncan informed him. "You're still a part of him and that's good enough for me for now. I can work with you on that."
"Do you even have a plan?" Mike dared ask.
Duncan ignored Mike and continued the long drive.
Mike ended up falling asleep in the car and when he woke up, he found himself with Duncan, pulling into a driveway of some sort. It wasn't a fancy place and it was now dark outside.
"Huh?" Mike looked out the window. "Duncan, where are we?"
"Guess you getting worked up over our little trip made you tired?" Duncan smirked. "Have a nice nap?"
"Is this our house?" Mike looked around the area, it didn't seem like somewhere Mal would pick for them to live.
"Nah." Duncan laughed. "You know better then that. Like he'd ever have us living here."
"So, you bought this place?" Mike asked, looking at Duncan suspiciously. "How long have we been driving?"
"Enough questions, Mike." Duncan groaned and rolled his eyes. "I'm doing all of this for us, for Mal and I really but you're along for the ride so just enjoy it."
"It's really hard to enjoy any of th-" Mike went to say but was stopped when Duncan leaned in and kissed him. Mike wasn't expecting Duncan to do this so it gave Duncan time to slide his tongue in his mouth. Mike didn't bite him, Mike didn't know what to do at all and just attempted to lean back against the window of the passenger seat to get as far away as he could. Duncan took it as him accepting this or just didn't give a shit at this point and crawled over to the passenger seat and on Mike's lap.
"You're not Mal." Duncan sighed as he pulled away from the kiss while remaining on Mike's lap. "He would have pulled on my hair and dominated the whole kiss. He probably would have flipped me over in the car and have me unzip his pan-"
"I don't need to know what he would have done." Mike told Duncan. "You really hurt my mouth. How far did you try to shove your damn tongue down?"
"Not far enough, you're still able to talk." Duncan told Mike with a slight eye roll that told Mike Duncan was getting annoyed with his protests and complaints.
"Can we go into...our house?" Mike asked Duncan, wanting to get out of this damn car.
"Yeah." Duncan agreed. "I'm going to remove that stupid bracelet they put on you for house arrest and ditch it when we get inside. I can't risk them finding us, Mal would know what to do if he were here. I'm telling you now, we're in the middle of nowhere and attempting to run will get you nowhere but hurt. Mal can patch up wounds, I can't so if you hurt yourself...you're fucked."
Duncan got out of the drivers side and then opened up the passengers side for Mike who wanted to run but decided against it. Mike was sure that he couldn't trust Duncan and he lied to him and this was in fact their 'home' and he honestly didn't want to go inside so he stood there and wondered what the hell he should even be doing.
"Start walking." Duncan told Mike as he stood behind him and gave him a push to the front door. "Let's go. I'm tired from driving, I'm hungry and I want to get that stupid thing off your ankle."
"Alright!" Mike yelled and started to walk. "I'm going!"
Mike got to the wooden steps that led to the front door when he started to wonder what exactly Mal had trained him to do and he also started thinking that if he picked up anything from Mal while living with him that he would surely be trapped in his 'new home' with no way of Zoey or anyone finding him. Mike was surprised when Duncan stopped at the steps of the door and knocked
'This isn't our house?' Mike thought to himself as Duncan knocked again slightly louder and Mike heard the door knob moving from the other side and it finally opened.
"Duncan?" Izzy asked when she opened the door and then instantly hugged him and then hugged Mike who was confused by all of this. "Mal, Izzy told you a bunch of times that Izzy can't keep Sweetie here for you and that Sweetie needs Mal."
"Izzy?" Mike spoke to her. "I'm not Ma-"
"Mal does not need help watching Sweetie." Duncan told Izzy. "Sweetie here needs Izzy to help him. Izzy...this is Mike."
"Oh..." Izzy awkwardly laughed and then looked around to make sure they were alone. "Come in, come in!"
"Go." Duncan shoved Mike inside the trailer the second Izzy moved out of the way to allow them inside.
Duncan has taken charge and will do anything to get Mal back! Will it work? How long will Mike and Duncan be stuck with each other? Will Izzy be able to help and will Duncan end up in jail for all of this?
