Land of Departure with Aqua, Terra and Ira. They arrive on world to find a figure wrapped in darkness overlooking the school. They brandish their keyblades, but the figure makes no move to engage (instead admonishing them for their "quick tempers")
Aqua can't help but think that his darkness is familiar to the kind in the abyss sea (almost as if it had a scent about it). She demands to know his identity, but he replies that they wouldn't recognize him even if he gave them it. In fact, he had been working on his comeback up until recently, and the return of his countless parents (the original union members) did just the trick.
"Speaking of which, here they come now" he states while pointing behind them.
Realizing this was all a distraction the heroes grit their teeth as the sky rips open, revealing a horde of invisibles. The dark figure bids the masters farewell as they're forced to retreat in failure.
A/N:
Even completed this will be the shortest chapter in the story. All the same it fulfills it's purpose of introducing a new interloper to the story. As to who they are… well, you'll just have to find out…
