The meal was beautiful, and tasted even better. Judy ordered the pumpkin spice puree soup, with the persimmon and pomegranate salad. Nick had the pumpkin spice soup as well as the honey baked salmon. "This soup and salad has been the greatest meal of my life." "Well I hope, not I still need to show off my skills." The room was filled with warmth, and passion. "I will hold you to that. I can't wait to try what ever salad you come up with." "I would love to," Judy was burning, and she could figure out why. "Why don't we continue with stories about your family for once." "Fine, I will tell you some... a few stories," Finally they could enjoy each other's company. "Don't be stingy," as they laughed at Nicks stories it came time for dessert. "Lets share the trifle I don't think I could finish a whole one." "Sure", Nick moved his chair beside her. The trifle came and was gorgeous. Of course Nick was staring at Judy, but now he had an excuse to be looking at her beauty. "Here you go Nick" Judy tried teasing him, by offering him a spoon of dessert. To her surprise he took the opportunity. 'Dumb bunny' she started laughing. "You can't even let me tease you even a little." "Fine, here you go Judy." Nick fed her. This was all they needed to start acting like a couple. They fed each other, joked, and told stories till the end of there dinner. 'This is going perfect I think I can actual tell her.' Judy looked a little puzzled. "What's wrong Judy?" "Nothing just thinking... I think its time for us to continue your plans. That You Still Won't Tell Me." With that Nick paid and took Judy out into the night.

As they walked the streets Judy was confused. 'Why was he doing all this I know I am his Partner... no stop thinking like that he is just very nice. I am sure he just wanted to thank me.' "You look absolutely stunning," Nick wasn't teasing her. 'I don't get it why does he always try to embarrass me.' "Thanks, you clean up nicely yourself. For a sly fox." They arrived at the gazebo overlooking the Koi fish. "Did you need to collect your thoughts Nick," her heart was pounding, why couldn't she stop. "Something like that, plus I thought this would be perfect end to our date." He gestured to the pond that was beautifully lite up. "Wow," the Koi swam like dragons weaving together in a beautifully display of colours. "Some say that the Koi are descendant of dragons, to bring beauty to the world below." "A poet I see, you are always full of surprises." 'If you only knew what I am going to say.' "Can I see your paw?" "Sure, what's wrong." Nick took her paw and brought it to his chest. "Does it still hurt?" "Yes, but that's not the problem. When I was in the hospital you were the reason I kept fighting. Just, so that I could see your face one more time. For a long time now I have been to scared to tell you, but after what happened to me... It scares me more that you might never know that I Love You." Suddenly she knew the feelings she had felt all day, it was like her body was trying to tell her that he was going to confess, and that she was desperate for him to. She buried her face into his chest. "..." she couldn't speak, she was too happy. "I know there isn't much left of this body left, but it will always be yours." Tears of joy flooded Judy. "You, sly fox," was all she could get out. She couldn't stop crying it was as if the darkness that loomed over her since Nick was hospitalized, suddenly disappeared. "Nick... I Love You," and now it was Nick's turn for the darkness to disappear. After awhile Judy stopped crying and they just held each other watching the Koi dance in the water.

It was time to leave neither one wanted to, but they couldn't stay there forever. "Let me walk you home." "That would be nice," they started their way home, of course at a slow pace. There were no words spoken, just the comfort of each others presence. The starry night was a perfect glow, shinning on the new couple. "Here we are," the end of the night. Nothing felt off not even when Nick released her hand. They knew there was always tomorrow, and forever for them. "Take care, have fun at work. I will be sleeping, so don't wake me up." 'Back to your old self I see.' Nick wouldn't be getting the last laugh tonight. "I Love You," stunning Nick as she closed the door, and went to her room.

'Sly bunny,' Nick left to his mothers, to share the news. Once arriving he was captured, and interrogated. He left no detail out, as he was serious, and needed his mother to understand his feelings. "Do you understand now?" "Of course I do, I wish you luck. She's a luck bunny." She tried to hold her smile, to avail she hadn't seen him in months and every time he came back she had to fix him up. "I want come more often, I want her to get to know you." Nick felt guilty up in till now he had been avoiding his mother only ever coming home when he got himself in a pickle. "You better," as she embraced him. He stayed the night, he had a lot to tell her.

I am back don't know for how long, but I have found some free time, so why not. I hope you enjoy.
