Alright, now for the Cavalry Battle, my LEAST favorite part of the Sports Festival!

*Sigh* Here we go...

After everyone had gotten some refreshments to cool off, they headed back to the stadium to see Nemuri on the podium as she stood next to a wheel that would decide which event would be chosen for the next part of the Sports Festival.

"Alright, you little cuties! Before we get to the next event, I'd like to list off everyone who passed the qualifications to make it to the next event! If you didn't make it, don't worry, there will still be plenty of activities to show off your mettle before the final event starts!" Nemuri then stepped aside as a large hologram showed everyone who had passed the race.

Izuku smiled, seeing that all of his classmates had made it to the next event but there were two stragglers from the other courses; Monoma Neito from General Ed and Mei Hatsume from Support.

"And there you have it! It seems all our lovely students of the Hero Course have made it! But don't count out General Ed and Support, because they managed to sneak in two representatives!" Nemuri announced. Monoma smirked smugly while Mei nodded proudly before noticing Melissa and waving to her, causing the blonde to shyly wave back.

"And now, we shall start with deciding what the next main event will be!" Nemuri then spun the wheel as everyone watched with anticipation. After a few tense moments, the wheel stopped at:

"CAVALRY BATTLE!"

"Aww man, I'm no good at those..." Deli moaned as Nemuri was explaining the rules. Katsumi approached her and slapped her on the back.

"Join my team and maybe you'll survive, Pikachu."

"Now then, each student who placed will have a number of points based on their placement in the Obstacle Course Race except for 1st place...who will have TEN MILLION POINTS!"

All eyes turned to Ochako as she paled whiter than a ghost. Izuku cringed and Hana gave a comforting pat on the back as everyone else gave her daring looks.

"You all have 15 minutes to set up your teams. When the time is up, the games shall begin!"

Ochako looked back and forth as everyone distanced themselves from her and she couldn't blame them. With a large target on her back, nobody would want to take the risk and instead opt to try and take the prize. As the gravity girl was about to give up hope, a gentle hand on her shoulder snapped her out of her funk and she turned to see Izuku smiling at her, a literal ray of sunshine beaming from his smile.

"D-Deku?"

"Hey, thought you could use a helping hand, Uraraka."

Tears welled up in her eyes as Hana skipped in and hugged her from behind, causing her to blush and squeak in embarrassment.

"We're friends, Ochako-Chan! We gotta stick together!"

Inasa zoomed in with his ever-winning smile present. "Yosh! Your hot-blooded passion is something to be admired, Uraraka! I shall join your team as well!"

"A-Are you sure? E-Everyone will be gunning for you because of my stupid points!"

"Well...we can't live unless we've died a little!" Izuku said with a playful laugh as Ochako blushed. His laugh was so kind and innocent and full of mirth. Inasa simply smiled, always loving it when his friend laughed and Hana giggled, finding it cute.

Meanwhile, everyone else was forming their teams as Katsumi was being swarmed by her classmates until she finally had enough and let loose an explosion in the air to make them back off.

"I've already decided who I'm picking. Shitty Hair-Chan, Pinky-Chan, and Pikachu-Chan."

Eiko, Mina, and Deli pointed to themselves in surprise as Katsumi dragged them along into her own little group. Hitoshi had offered Yuuga and Shouda to join his team and they needed to find one more when Monoma made his presence known.

"Pardon me, but it seems you need one more member to complete your little group. Mind if I join you?"

Hitoshi shrugged. "Sure, why not? What can you do?"

"My Quirk is called [Copycat] and it lets me copy any Quirk I desire except for Mutant and stockpiling-types. I can have more than one Quirk copied but I can only use one at a time." The smug blonde said as Hitoshi shrugged.

"Well, welcome aboard."

Monoma gave off a malevolent grin. "Yes, together we shall overcome those who look down on us and rise to the top! Nothing will stand in our way!"

Hitoshi looked confused at best while Yuma and Shouda had rather uncomfortable expressions.

"I don't trust him."

"Non, me neither."

Shoko had gathered Momo, Iida, and Camie and was finishing up with discussing her plan of attack to them.

"Totes great, fam! With your ice and fire, we'll kick tons of ass!" Camie cheered, pumping her fist in the air.

"No...I made a vow..." With a turn of her head, Shoko glared at a muscular man who was wreathed in flames and was giving her a glare in turn.

"...NEVER TO USE MY LEFT SIDE."

"Hey! Soulmate!" Melissa perked up and turned to see Mei running towards her with a practically giddy expression on her face.

"Yes, what is it, Hatsume-San?"

"If we join together as a team, our babies will be FAMOUS! After all, you're the daughter of David Shield, right?"

Melissa awkwardly scratched her chin before nodding, seeing it would be nice to have a fellow Techie to work with. She then approached Sero and Fumikage, who were both more than glad to join her team.

"Alright, the teams are set! Let's end this debate once and for all!"

"IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEE!" Hizashi screamed from the announcer box.

"Wrong franchise, Hun." Oboro laughed as Hizashi fumbled apologies, causing the crowd and the students to all giggle playfully.

Everyone soon formed their horses, Ochako was on top with Izuku carrying her on the front and Hana and Inasa carrying her from behind. The gravity girl tightened her ten million points headband over her forehead while Izuku lipped his lips to keep them moist. Inasa bit his lip in excitement and Hana breathed in and out.

"On your mark...get set...GO!"

With the crack of Nemuri's whip, Izuku turned to look at Hana, who nodded as they both made their move.

"TEAM SPECIAL: IMPENETRABLE FORTRESS!"

With Hana's manipulation of matter and Izuku's use of the elements, the ground molded and changed around them until it was a large fortress with several cannons and spikes pointing outward. Ochako looked shocked as she saw her team was on the top of the fortress, overlooking everyone else.

"HOLY SHIT! NOT EVEN ONE MINUTE IN AND WE'VE ALREADY GOT MIDORIYA AND SHIMURA HELPING THEIR TEAM STAY OUT OF REACH!"

"That's not gonna stop our other participants. Midoriya and Shimura were kind enough to lead a path inside the fortress that would lead the others up to the top...however a few of the teams have opted to stay on the ground it seems."

"Why aren't we storming their fortress! We will be able to steal their points!" Monoma protested as Hitoshi steered his team away from the fortress. The others who opted to avoid confrontation with Team Ochako were Minori's team consisting of her, Tsuyu, Habuko, and Shouji, Tooru's team consisting of her, Kouji, Sato, and Ojunko, Yui's team consisting of her, Kyoka, and Bondo, Tsubaraba's team consisting of himself, Sen, Kuroiro, and Manga and finally, Pony and Togaru, and Jurota and Rin, both of which were duo teams.

The son of Aizawa glared at his blonde teammate. "Because I know plenty about Izuku and Hana's strengths to know that guys like us have no chance of getting through whatever they have there."

Monoma grit his teeth before sighing angrily, seeing that the indigo-haired boy had a point and opted to help him steal the headbands of their opponents that stayed behind with them.

The ones who entered the castle were Shoko's Team, Katsumi's Team, Melissa's Team, Itsuka's Team consisting of her, Setsuna, Reiko, and Kinoko and finally Tetsutetsu's team consisting of him, Ibara, Juuzo, and Awase. Currently, they were running up the spiral path that would take them to the top while avoiding the hazards that Hana and Izuku had left in their wake, ranging from fire pits to swinging sand axes and water bullets.

"Only one of our teams is going to make it to the top...and it's going to be us!" Shoko said as she stomped her foot down and unleashed a wave of ice to block the other teams. Katsumi clicked her tongue in annoyance as she jumped off her team's shoulders and unleashed a powerful point-blank explosion that caved in a large hole for them to jump through. Eiko and Mina caught her while Deli was shaking her head in panic.

"ARE YOU CRAZY?!"

"Not crazy enough!"

"Hey now! While we're looking at the little students on the battlefield, we also got some surveillance drones watching the action that's happening inside the fortress!" Oboro announced as the jumbotron showed a split-screen, one half showing the teams who stayed in the stadium and the other half showcasing the acts of the teams who entered the fortress.

"THIS IS GETTING EXCITING! TWO EPIC BATTLES FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!" Hizashi cheered as Aizawa rolled his eyes at the exuberance of his two husbands. The crowds were watching both battles intensely.

Back with the teams on the ground, Hitoshi had managed to trick Minori into responding to him so he could brainwash her, making it easier for Yuma to shoot her laser and make the rest of her team dodge right into their path, allowing Monoma to swipe one of their headbands. The other teams were squabbling amongst themselves with Pony crashing into one of Tsubaraba's solid air barriers and Kouji calling in a flock of pigeons to distract Jurota and Rin.

Izuku, Ochako, Hana, and Inasa were waiting at the top, anticipating the team that would make it first. Suddenly, much to their surprise, both Shoko and Katsumi's teams leaped out with the top thankfully being wide enough for all three teams to battle.

"Hana-Chan?" Nodding, the Shimura Girl sealed up the entrance, locking out all the other teams, leaving them to join the others back at the stadium in trying to take each other's headbands.

"Alright, Deku, just because you're my boy toy doesn't mean I'll go easy on you!" Katsumi said with an evil grin on her face. Shoko glared at Izuku as he took notice and steeled his nerves in the presence of her icy glare.

"I'll be taking your headbands, Midoriya. I don't care how strong you may be."

Izuku smirked as his eyes flared red, the energy of [One for All] flowing through his body as flames danced around him, turning from blazing orange to a verdant green. Inasa grinned as wind spun around his hand while Hana cracked her neck from side to side. Ochako tightened her headband further and kept a steely gaze towards the two enemy teams.

"CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGE!" Katsumi ordered her team as they rushed forward. Izuku and Ochako's team charged, but not at Katsumi...but at Shoko!

"What a twist, fam!" Camie yelped as she prepared to cast an illusion in order to give her team a chance to avoid the surprise attack while Shoko's eyes widened and for a brief moment, her left arm burst into flames as she swiped forward with it almost on instinct, sending a small, weak blast of fire the enemy teams way.

"TIME'S UP!"

"What?!"

Everyone stopped, Izuku absorbing the fire Shoko sent towards him while Katsumi, who had jumped off her team's shoulders to tackle Izuku, fell flat on her face comically, groaning in utter disappointment. Camie coughed, the pink Glamour mist she was breathing out dissipating and fizzing out like a discount sparkler.

"With all the excitement, we've gone past the 20-minute limit! Team Uraraka stays in 1st place! The other five highest-ranking teams also will pass with them to the final event!" Oboro announced as Izuku and the rest of his team all breathed a collective sigh of relief. Shoko noticed her left arm was still ablaze and panicked as she shook the flames off, looking at them in disbelief.

"T-They caught me off-guard...they made me use...the side I refused to ever wield." The heterochromatic girl thought silently to herself, the rest of her team looking worried at the uncharacteristically shocked look she had on her face.

"Alright, everyone, take a break, grab a bite to eat! We'll discuss the teams who passed along with our 1st Place Winners after the recess!" Hizashi cheered as everyone moved to get some lunch or just loiter around.

After turning the fortress they made back into the earth underneath them, Izuku and Hana prepared to head off when Shoko walked up to them.

"Midoriya, Shimura...is it okay if I speak to you both?"

Inko cheered, her oculars gushing out tears as she sat in the VIP seatings along with Yuu, Keigo, Shinji, Desutegoro, Ryuko, and Rumi, the young Pro Heroes were all smiling proudly at the victory their little brother had achieved.

"Alright, Izu! You did it!" cheered Yuu as she stood up, waving her hands sporadically. Desutegoro and Shinji had to struggle to get her back in her seat before Keigo got up and stretched his arms and wings.

"Come on, I'm starving, let's get something to eat before the lines get too full."

"I'm with you. Let's go!" Rumi said as she joined her brother. As Inko headed off with her adoptive children and future in-laws, she noticed the same skinny blonde man from before, Toshinori, standing up from his seat. He noticed as well and smiled awkwardly as he waved to her, a gesture she returned with a giggle and a blush on her cheeks.

Back in the Mie Prefecture, Ochako's parents were watching the events unfold on their portable TV. The two Elder Uraraka's were sobbing tears of joy that their daughter had such great friends backing her up and that managed to place 1st in both the Obstacle Race and the Cavalry Battle.

"That's my baby girl! She's doing so well!" Ororo Uraraka cheered proudly as he hugged his wife, Choko.

"She's made such great friends. I'm sure with their help, she'll make a terrific Hero along with them!"

Suddenly, the doorbell rang as Ororo stood up, walking over and answering the door before looking shocked at who he saw. Despite the bizarre and creepy clown make-up and dyed hair, he recognized his old friend from Gotham.

"Arthur?"

"Hello, Ororo...been a while, huh?" The man said as he stepped into the house.

"It's been a while, what happened to you?"

"You never saw what happened on Muarry Franklin's show 20 years ago? I'm hurt...I thought the news got to you."

"Well, I heard your mother died of a stroke and then Muarry Franklin ended up being shot by a crazed gunman who secretly invaded his show. But I was busy trying to start my business at the time before I met Choko."

"You don't know the whole story...figures, you never came to talk to me after..."

Arthur's fists tightened and Ororo looked concerned as he saw blood dripping down his pale, clammy hands.

"Arthur, you should probably sit down. We have water if you need some-"

"That's not why I'm here...I'm here because...I missed you so much...and I didn't know why you left me...now I realize it's because you have a family that was more important...important enough that you forgot your old friend."

"Arthur, we've known each other since we were kids. I know that it's been hard, what with your sickness and the fact that I haven't written since the incident and since after I got married but I'm sure I can get you some help here."

"Too late for that...I have some old unkindnesses I need to pay back."

Before Ororo could react, he found the barrel of an S&W Model 442 .38 Special aimed at him as he backed up in shock. Choko came in with a concerned expression only to gasp when she saw her husband held at gun-point.

"Don't call me Arthur, that loser is dead...you can call me...JOKER."

Ororo looked in horror as his former friend looked up and gave a sickening grin as he trailed his blood-stained hand across his mouth, leaving a bloody 'smile' over it. Suddenly, several punks dressed in clown make-up and masks walked in and surrounded the couple, aiming various guns at them.

"And as you can see...I'm a LOT happier~."

Yep, here, Arthur Fleck AKA THE JOKER is friends with Ochako's Dad.

Here's the story: Ochako's Dad was visiting Gotham when he was young and met Arthur. He knew of the abuse he was suffering and was actually the one who helped get Penny's abusive boyfriend arrested, which also helped Penny shape up and take care of Arthur until the events of the Joker movie played out. Ororo wrote to Arthur every now and then to check up on him and even visited him a few times but stopped calling during the events of the Joker movie and therefore was unaware of Arthur's metamorphosis into the Clown Prince of Crime.

I know Joaquin Phoenix is in his 40's or something, but in the movie, Arthur is like 20, so he's the same age as Ochako's parents, who are probably in their late 30's to early '40s. Bruce Wayne was 10 when his parents died so Batman will be probably in his mid-30's here.

Anyway, I hope you liked the Cavalry Battle. I wanted to make it quick but unique and also, I wanted to establish a little relationship between Hitoshi and Monoma.

But what does Joker want with Ochako's parents anyway? You'll have to find out in my version of the Internship Arc.

RECAP

-Ochako is the one with the Ten Million points, but luckily, she is backed up by Hana, Izuku, and Inasa.

-Hana and Izuku shake up the game by creating a fortress and daring the other teams to try and reach them.

-Hitoshi forms a team with Monoma, Yuma, and Shouda but doesn't brainwash the latter two like in Canon because they are classmates in this story.

-Joker visits Ochako's parents and makes himself known. He is also revealed to be old friends with Ochako's dad, who wasn't around to see Arthur's transformation into Joker.

Quirk Drawback: If Momo creates too much, she will become malnourished due to needing to use her fat cells to make the necessary creations. Larger creations take up more fat cells, putting her at quicker risk.
