CHAPTER FOURTEEN: TRAINING FOR THE GRAND MAGIC GAMES

After the whole fiasco with Alyssa, things at Raven's Moon started to get back to normal. Their Master announced that Fairy Tail was finally back after seven years to which the guild members were celebrating their return.

"I can't believe they're back after seven years..." Razi commented.

"It's Fairy Tail, what do you expect?" Casey said.

"I'll finally get to fight Natsu!" Sakura exclaimed as Casey sighed.

Everyone was drinking, laughing, and having a good time. Until Master Ailey appeared. "Listen up, brats!" She shouted, getting the guild to quiet down. Everyone looked towards their master.

"The Grand Magic Games are coming up. And I've decided that Raven's Moon will be entering!" Master Ailey announced. This shocks everyone in the guild.

"What?"

"Are you sure, Master?"

"We've never entered the Grand Magic Games before. Why now?"

"Quiet down! I've chosen the participants that will represent us in the Grand Magic Games." Master Ailey said as she took out a piece of paper that had the names of the participants. Everyone went silent.

"Casey Hyodo!"

"Huh? Me?" Casey questioned.

"You are the strongest Dragon Slayer in the guild. It's not a surprise Master chose you." Carter stated.

"Cruz Santos!"

Cruz looked up when he heard his name being called.

"Virgilia Laurent!"

Vivi shows no emotion when her name was called and just sighed.

"Claire Izayoi!"

Claire sighs as she sets down her drink.

"Tsuki Rio!"

"What?" Casey said.

"She puts her in the Games but not me?!" Sakura exclaimed.

"And finally, the reserve will be Airavata Mizuki." Master Ailey finished. Sakura sighed as she laid her head on the table. "Not even making it as a reserve?" She questioned. Casey looks at his girlfriend. "There's always next year." He said. "Meanwhile, you can cheer me on!"

"I'm sure the Master has had her reasons." Carter added.

"I suppose..." Sakura groaned.

"Come on, Carter! We have to go train!" Casey exclaimed as he headed out of the guild.

Later that day, in the Master's office...

"Master, why did you call us in here?" Sakura asked. She was standing in front of the Master along with Alexander, Snow, Kyle, and Razi.

Master Ailey sighed. "There have been rumors that Fairy Tail is entering the Grand Magic Games to reclaim their title as number one."

"But in order to do that, they have to beat Sabertooth." Razi stated as Master Ailey nodded.

"Knowing Master Makarov, he'll put two Fairy Tail teams in the Games so they have a higher chance of winning." Master Ailey informed.

"So you want us to do the same." Kyle finished for her, knowing where this was headed. Master Ailey nodded, confirming what Kyle said was true.

"Sakura, Alexander, Snow, Kyle, and Razi." Master Makarov started to say. "You five will be apart of Raven's Moon Team B."

"All right! Casey better watch out!" Sakura exclaimed as black fire surrounded her hands.

"I suppose you want us to keep this a secret from the original team." Razi guessed. "Yes. The other team doesn't know about my plans. This will be a secret between us until the reveal at the Games." Master Ailey replied.

Alexander smirked. "Sounds like a plan."

"I gotta train!" Sakura exclaimed as she headed out of the Master's office.
