Chapter Sixteen:

Brick returned home with Butch and Buttercup.

Buttercup got her cop car and started to put her and Butch's stuff in the back.

Brick went inside. "So whenever you guys want, we can go look for an apartment for you guys."

Bubbles and Boomer nodded.

"Let's go," Boomer said.

Brick turned to Blossom. "You ready?"

She nodded.

They got in the cars and drove around town to find some apartments.

A few hours of looking, and deciding, Butch and Buttercup found one close to the police station.

Boomer and Bubbles found one close to the mall, and Blossom found one on the north side.

Their move was only temporary untill they saved some money and bought a home.

Brick helped Blossom unpack.

After the living room was done, Brick took Blossom to go get a couple of mattresses, and they organized the bedrooms.

As Brick was helping Blossom make the bed, she asked "Did you want to move in?"

Brick smirked. He was quiet.

"I'm sorry," Blossom smiled.

"It's ok," Brick looked at her. "I would, don't get me wrong, but I still want to be sure about it. You know what I mean?"

Blossom was quiet.

"It's not you, girl," Brick assured. "It's me. I just need some time."

Blossom nodded. "I understand."

Brick hung out with Blossom and Bonnie a bit more before he and Johnny went home.

Johnny went inside and sat on the couch. He grabbed the remote and turned on the TV.

The TV was on a movie channel, and they were playing Superman.

Brick looked at the TV, saw the movie playing and reminisced. He went over and watched Superman with his son.

After the movie was over, Johnny looked at his father and asked, "Dad, when will I get my powers?"

Brick looked at him. "I don't know, Johnny."

"Dad?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you going to marry Blossom?"

Brick's eyes widened. He looked at Johnny and laughed. "Nooo... We're just dating for now. I'm not going to remarry for a while. It's only when and if I'm sure about it, you know what I mean?"

Johnny nodded. "Ok. Good."

Brick smirked.

A couple years went by.

Brick and Blossom were still dating, but it was more serious now.

Blossom bought a 2- story home where Brick and Johnny moved in.

Johnny and Bonnie were both 7 years old, and were in elementary school.

The bell rang. School was getting out.

Johnny and Bonnie met up at the front gate.

They walked to the office and waited for Brick or Blossom to show up.

Bonnie went over to the front desk and asked to use the phone.

She called her mom.

Blossom answered the phone. "Hello?"

"Hi, mom. When are you and dad coming?"

"I'm almost there sweetie. Just wait in the office," Blossom told her daughter.

"Ok." Bonnie hung up the phone. She went and sat back next to her brother. "Mom should be here soon."

Johnny nodded. He looked to the front door and saw two people enter. They went to the front desk and asked the lady for Johnny and Bonnie.

"Their mother is coming for them."

The guy looked around the office. He saw Johnny and Bonnie sitting down. He put his hand to his shades and pressed a tiny button and analyzed the kids.

Boy: Johnny Gonzalez.

Girl: Bonnie Jade Marshall

Eyes: Red

Hair: Red

Father: Brick Jojo

He smirked. "We found them."

The lady took out a silent stun gun. She shot at the people in the office and locked the front doors.

"Good to go," she told her partner. "They'll be back up in the next 30 minutes."

Johnny and Bonnie tried to run and hide, but were found. They both tried to scream, but had duck tape put over their mouths, with their hands tied behind their backs.

"Come on kids. We're going for a little ride," the guy smiled.

Blossom drove through the school lot and parked her car. She got out and walked to the office.

Blossom tried to open the door, but it was locked.

She looked inside and saw the people in the office on the floor. Her eyes widened. She called Brick.

Brick was at home watching TV. He felt his phone vibrate. He took his cell out of his pocket, looked at the caller I.D., and answered it. "What's up babe?"

"Brick! The kids are missing!" Blossom screamed from the other end.

"I'll be right there!" Brick hung up, got in his car and drove to the school.

Brick arrived at the school. He got out of his car and ran over to Blossom.

"Bonnie and Johnny aren't here!" Blossom told him. "The office is locked."

Brick went over to the office doors, trying to open them. He looked around for a bit, then punched the glass and unlocked the doors from the inside. He saw the staff on the floor.

Brick went over to one of the women. While holding her up, he checked her pulse and looked at Blossom. "They're just stunned." He took his hand and gently patted the woman's cheek.

"Wh- what happened?" The woman slowly opened her eyes.

"I'm looking for my kids. They were here in the office," Brick told her. "Do you remember what happened?"

The woman quickly got up. "Two people- a man and a woman in suits were looking for them. Next thing I know, there's a gun being pointed at me."

Brick and Blossom looked at each other.

"You have security cameras right?" Blossom asked. "May we look at the videos?"

"Sure," the woman said.

The woman took Brick and Blossom to the security room and went over the videos.

Brick and Blossom saw who took their kids. It was the same people from the plane.

Blossom saw them get in their van and take off. She quickly paused the video, zoomed onto the van's license plate and wrote it down. She turned to the woman, thanked her, and then she and Brick went to go find the van...
