Sorry I haven't uploaded in so long . Finals, Christmas and other personal issues really joined together this year to completely fill my December. Anyway, I will try to finish the next chapter soon but until I do. Here's a little chapter.

Timeline line-wise, this chapter happens a little after chapter 26 but don't worry because there aren't any spoilers or warnings.

Marinette struggled hard to untie herself. The knots around her and Adrien's wrists were surprisingly strong. They were sitting back to back and tied with the same string and knots.

" I told you this was a bad idea . " she whispered to him

She was right. She did warn him. It all began on a Saturday morning when Nadja had to go work on something, probably related to Ladybug's pregnancy if Marinette had to guess. So the reporter asked Marinette to babysit Manon. Adrien not having much experience with kids invited himself to help.

Later came Alya and Nino asking Marinette to babysit Chris. Adrien immediately figured it couldn't be much harder to handle two kids instead of one. In the end, it was a way to get more practice , right ? Marinette was a little skeptical about babysitting the two at the same time but went along.

It turned out it to be much harder to deal with both that either expected . Together they made quite a destructive team . They never stopped running and playing, turning everything in Marinette's house into their own playground.

Marinette examined her surroundings for an escape as Manon came closer . Jumping around and menacingly pointing her wand at Marinette, the little girl declared. "Give up your miraculous, Ladybug. Me and my new boyfriend Chris have you trapped, There is no way out "

" My lady, it feels like it's over . We have no choice. " Adrien said in his usually theatrical way . She would roll her eyes at him but he wouldn't be able to see it and she was also too busy trying to get free.

The bluenette was always a great problem solver. It was that ability that gave her the idea of playing superheroes and villains, as a way to entertain the kids and stop them from destroying the house. Adrien without a blink choose to play his superhero self Chat Noir .So Marinette , since Chat could not apparently be without his lady , was stuck playing Ladybug.

How the kids managed to find a rope and tie up the two of Paris's most famous superheroes, neither Adrien or Marinette could really say. Years of battles had not prepared them for this. One moment they were winning the next they were captured.

Marinette figured that if the brain got her into this situation, to begin with .It could also get her out. Her eyes searched everywhere for a solution as Adrien played scaredy-cat.

" Oh ! no. We are doomed " He acted out while waiting for his lady to come up with a solution.

Finally giving up and admitting defeat Marinette surrendered " Fine . Untie me and the miraculous are yours "

Even Adrien that was having his fun was surprised at how quickly his lady gave up.

Manon and Chris shared a victorious smile before he slowly came closer to the heroes . The moment he was close enough, Marinette finished untying herself and launched at the young boy.

Lifting him into the air and tickling him, she asked " Do you surrender? "

Despite his laughs, the boy said "Never ."

" Stay strong " Manon declared as she tried herself not be captured by Adrien. She was fast and tiny, easily sneaking past him.

Eventually, he was able to grab her and take her wand. It was supposed to be the akumatized object so he threw it to his lady.

" Nooooooo " the kids exclaimed as they were defeated

Marinette and Adrien fist-bumped and gave the usual "Pound it"

Running to Marinette giving her puppy dog eyes. both kids asked " Do the thing. "

Marinette sighed before throwing her hand in the air and saying " Bye-bye little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug! "

All enthusiastic and clapping, both kids demanded " Again, Again "

" This time I'll play Hawkmoth, " Chris said to which Manon replied " I ́ll play evil Lila"

Marinette and Adrien shared a glance before going after the pretending villains.

Hours later, when Marinette's parents arrived, they were surprised to find Manon and Chris sleeping snuggled up around Marinette and Adrien.

I also want to take this opportunity to ask you all for questions for an interview that Ladybug will give to Alya. ( Thanks to Tim House for the idea ) You ́ll all be the ladyblog fans and your questions /comments can be supportive or not. It's supposed to show the diversity of reactions would have to the news so any reaction is valid.

I might not include all of them but I ́ll do my best to add the most that I can without making the chapter feel cramped up.
