Sad to say I have had this done for about a month, but finals were taking all my time. I passed at least! Not to mention work, but enough of my life's turmoils. This was originally a 20,000 worded chapter, but to read that in one long chapter seemed like a nightmare. So I split it into two parts as to not burn any of you out with one sitting. In any case, Enjoy. Also happy holidays!

Sports Festival Training: Part 1

"Nemuri, if you don't mind me asking; why do you always carry that pin around with you?"

Midnight opened her eyes, looking to the guest with intrigue. She had found herself seated in the teacher's lounge, her eyes closed in relaxation, as her hands held the pin gently by her lap.

"Ahh, young Hado." Midnight chuckled as her eyes looked to the guest. "I forget third years are allowed in here sometimes."

Nejire Hado looked to the pro-hero with curious eyes. Her head tilted to the side as her blue eyes sparkled.

"Hello! Did you see I only called you Nemuri like you said I could in private?" She cheered. "Oh but that's right I asked you a question! Why do you always have that pin? Perhaps from a boyfriend?!" She squealed excitedly. "Or maybe a family heirloom!? I've seen you kiss it a few times before! There are just to many likely answers!" She cheered once more.

Midnight giggled as she stood from the body absorbing recliner she was seated in. She stretched while groaning in satisfaction as a few stubborn joints in her body cracked around. She was not exactly the young tigress she used to be, and the way a simple stretch was borderline euphoric said that her younger days were slowly behind her. Hell, in just a few weeks she would be turning thirty-one.

"Yes Nejire that is good you remembered in private only." Midnight sighed as she felt the blood rush back into her tired legs. "Also no this is not from a boyfriend." She giggled. "That would be both illegal and as you kids call it, 'taboo'."

"Ta-boo?" Nejire questioned the odd word. "Sounds like tattoo, or baboon?! Oh! Is it like a ghost or something because of the 'boo'?!"

Midnight laughed whilst shaking her head. The hero placed her hand on the younger girls shoulder, an endearing smile on her face.

"Nejire, never change. But, no taboo is something that is seen as unruly, or bad in the eyes of society. It was supposed to be a joke." Nemuri chuckled again. "But I'll stop teasing and just answer your question you curious girl."

Midnight took the pin back out of her pocket and held it in front of the eyes of the third year student. Midnight held a loving and sincere smile as she looked to the pin.

"This pin was given to me at a very young age. Maybe one day I'll tell you a bit more about my childhood, but the point is this rose pin is extremely important to me." Midnight sighed as she brought the pin to her chest. "My nephew, while you have never met surprisingly comes to this school. He touched it with his quirk at a very young age. I told him to do it during a part of our lives, and ever since that day this pin has taken on a different meaning."

Nejire's eyes were twinkling as she heard a heartfelt part of her teachers life. Though she rarely stayed silent, she thought it best to remain as such as Midnight continued.

"Just like how my quirk could be destructive to others, his is just as, if not more powerful than mine." Midnight brought the pin close once again to one of her old students face. "Tell me Nejire, what do you notice about the pin?" Midnight paused, grabbing the younger girls hand into her own. "Here take it, look at it for a second, would you?"

Nejire shakily took the pin from her hand and looked to it like a child would a present on Christmas morning. Her eyes looked to the pin with such wonder, and so much glee that Nejire was practically shaking in her shoes.

"Well it's grey, and feels kind of smooth; but the texture feels porous, kind of like how a rock would feel…" Nejire paused, bringing the pin closer to her face. "Uhh, I don't know Nemuri, it still looks like an odd looking pin to me." She said while passing the pin back to its owner.

Midnight chuckled. "Well my nephews quirk made it look that way."

Nejire was immediately in her old teachers face, a wild look in her eyes.

"Quirk?! Oh what was his quirk! Tell me! Tell me! Tell me!" The younger and energetic teen begged.

Midnight giggled as she lightly pushed the student at a more comfortable distance.

"His quirk turns anything he touches into stone. That's all I will say for now. Plus classes start in the next thirty minutes." She said as she looked to a watch on her wrist.

Nejire pouted. "Awww! Come on Nemuri! You haven't answered all of my questions…" She whined childishly.

"Now now. A beautiful woman like yourself should save all that whining for a boy, and not someone like me." She laughed. "But hey, how goes the work studying with Ryuko? You haven't been giving her too much trouble have you?"

At the mention of her 'boss', Nejire clapped her hands together excitedly. "Oh! Everything is going amazingly!" Nejire pulled Nemuri's hands to her own. "I really am grateful you put in the good word for me."

Midnight scoffed. "Please. Yes, I may have let Ryuko know of your potential, but everything has been you."

Nejire blushed slightly at the praise, smiling nonetheless.

"In any case, hurry along, I still have things I need to finalize before I teach my first class."

Nejire gave Midnight a salute and made her way out to the door. She paused when her hand reached for the handle.

"Hey what's his name by the way?"

"Nejire Hado, get to class." Midnight sighed. "You'll see him soon enough during the first years sports festival anyways."

Nejire chuckled in a defeated fashion. "Well I tried! See you around Nemuri!" She called before walking out the door.

Midnight still stood by the chair, the pin still in her hand. She smiled gently as she brought the pin to her lips in a delicate kiss. A ritual of sorts, one she had done way before Izuku had even touched it, but now it just had more meaning. She decided a few more minutes lounging around would not hurt anyone. As her behind entered the comfort the recliner held, she closed her eyes once more. She clutched the pin tightly as she thought of the deep meaning it now held.

"I may have never had a family Izuku. But now I do. I'll make sure you always have a family and me to come to. It was something I never had, but I'll ensure that you do."

Whoever said Japan had some of the nicest weather on this beautiful planet that humans lived on; were right in every single aspect that sentence pertained to. Japan's weather was a stable between cool and warm. Subtle breezes, small bits of jumbled clouds, and the overall air in this country was definitely something to cherish.

Today was no different, the weather was just as perfect and calm. It was all anyone could have ever hoped for. Albeit a very angry orange haired teen; and an extremely pissed off blonde following Izuku's every step, or in this case sitting.

"You don't even know how fucking worried I've been all this week! Dad was on my case so much so that I finally admitted to him why I had been so snappy! And guess what you little greened haired idiot, he's coming for your ASS!"

Izuku chuckled while adjusting the pack he carried on his back. It contained all the school supplies and homework he had finished during the abrupt recess U.A had taken.

"AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED YOU FUCKING CLOWN! MY STUPID HAG HAD TO TIE ME DOWN SO I DIDN'T GO AND FINISH YOU OFF!"

Just the thought of his powerful and explosive best friend having been tied down by his own mother was enough to make Izuku audibly chortle. He laughed loudly within the train, his efforts echoing around the train in a disturbing fashion. Then again, Katsuki was shouting just as loud so it's not like it mattered really.

Itsuka looked to Izuku in disbelief. "You think this is funny Izuku? I don't find it funny."

Katsuki was fuming. The teens face was contorted into a twisted murder filled smile, and a vein looked about ready to burst by his forehead.

"Oh he won't be laughing in a few seconds…" He said in a chilling voice.

Izuku held his hands up in defeat, his chuckle for now dying down. He looked to his best friends with a calm and even smile.

"I'm sincerely sorry guys." He apologized genuinely. "I just needed time to really think where I go from here."

"Go from here?" Itsuka repeated oddly.

"What the hell does that even mean Deku?" Katsuki continued with annoyance.

Izuku sighed in a dejected tone. "I know you guys won't like this, but I'll tell you later in private okay? This is something I can't just talk about freely."

Itsuka and Katsuki looked to each other, their faces mirroring one another's annoyance.

"Izuku. If you seriously don't tell us anytime soon, I'm dragging you to the dojo to literally wipe your face on the mats."

Izuku gulped. He looked to Katsuki wondering what he would say, but his quietness is what terrified him more.

"You'll see." Katsuki finalized.

Izuku felt a cold chill run up his body as a silence surrounded the three of them. Neither of them saying a word the rest of the trip.

It did not take long, but the train eventually came to a stop, and the three friends gathered their things and headed out. Surprisingly, none of their classmates were on this train which was definitely weird; however they did take the train a bit later than usual.

The three of them barely made it to the last train departure for the next hour. Oddly enough though, Izuku had woken up early that day as well. Well, actually what had happened was Izuku was rudely woken up by his two best friends bursting through his bedroom door. They were visibly upset for some reason, and to Izuku's then groggy mind it confused him.

However they made it known why they were so upset, and this continued all the way through his morning ritual of getting up, through breakfast, then on the walk to the train station, to its departure, and now to its stop.

Izuku was grateful for the two of them. They were always there for him through thick and thin. He did feel ashamed of himself, for the simple fact that he himself had forgotten the promise they had made to one another. Which Katsuki had reminded him not so gently about.

"Your problems are our problems, we are in this together, be it through rain or sunshine. Dickhead."

The promised crossed Izuku's mind once more, minus the other obscenities that followed after. The trio made their way under the gates of U.A. Lots of students were outside mingling with one another; excitedly talking about what they had done during the abrupt recess of all their classes.

"I'll catch you guys at lunch." Itsuka commented as she broke off from the two. "I need to ask Pony something about the English homework we were left. I'm sure she's already here..."

The two offered her a one worded bye, and a silent wave as she entered the main building. Izuku still walked alongside Katsuki, who had his hands stuffed in his pockets like he usually did. Not once did they see any of their classmates, and that seemed odd to Izuku. Katsuki did not seem to care as they entered the building that housed their home room.

The walk to class was uneventful. The halls were somewhat crowded, the chattering of multiple voices in different tones was always interesting to hear, and everyone just seemed to be in high spirits.

"Maybe we missed the memo or something Kacchan?" Izuku implored.

"The memo?" He grunted. "What the hell are you going on about."

Izuku looked to the home room door in confusion. As they neared, their laid a note on the front of it that they could just make out as they approached.

"Uhh, I think that's what I mean." Izuku chuckled as they finally reached the door.

"Students of 1-A are too meet at the PE grounds for home room today. Further instructions will then be given. -Aizawa."

"Aizawa?" Izuku said in slight worry. "He's already teaching again after his injury?" He then mumbled to himself.

Katsuki simply shrugged and turned the other direction. "Hell if I care."

With that Katsuki walked towards the exit that lead straight to the PE grounds that were outside. Izuku watched as his friend walked out the door, still deep in thought.

Everything just seemed so odd. It felt like something should be happening this week, like an event should of been underway. Yet, no matter how deep Izuku thought he could not get his thoughts organized.

In any case, Izuku looked to the message on the door one last time before shrugging himself. Following the direction which Katsuki had walked out in.

"Izuku! Wait for me!"

Perplexed, Izuku turned around to see the lovely foreigner he had befriended sprinting towards him.

"Pony?" He questioned back in her native tongue. "Where are you off too?"

The teen came to a halt by the much taller boy; she herself not a bit winded by the run.

"Hi!" She said in excitement. "Did you guys get a message on your classroom door too?" She wondered.

Izuku matched her excitement and smiled. "Yeah, I was just about to head to the grounds right now."

Pony smiled herself in return. "Let me join you! Itsuka walked ahead of me since I stopped to go to the bathroom."

Izuku chuckled as he turned around and started walking. "Well let's get moving. We have roughly five minutes before the bell."

Pony giggled as she stepped alongside him. "I wonder what's going on though?" She said aloud as they exited the building into the outside world.

"Wait!" She suddenly shouted. "Are you okay?!" She then continued worriedly. "Your fingers!"

Izuku chuckled at her sudden change of demeanor. He lifted his hands up for her to see.

"Oh these old things! Yes, my index fingers are a bit bruised and scarred but I'm fine honest!" He explained. "My quirk is still gone though surprisingly. It's been about a week." He then wondered aloud.

Pony's face scrunched up in small pout as she looked to his hands with droopy eyes. She then shook her head as he looked to him.

"No, I mean are YOU okay?"

Izuku's thinking paused when she had repeated her question. He thought it best to be honest with her, and laid a comforting hand on her shoulder as they finally neared the two classes that stood outside.

"Well I could be better Pony." He smiled to her gently. "Thanks for wondering though, I promise to tell you what all had happened another day okay?"

Pony laid her own hand on his oddly warm one. She was honestly curious what they might of felt like since his quirk seemed to not be working at the moment.

"Wow. Your hand warm." She answered in Japanese this time. "But I'm glad you 'okay' okay." She finished with a nod.

Izuku nodded back with his own smile as the two split, walking to their respective classes.

"Ahh. Glad you finally have joined us Midoriya." A mummy called to him from the front of the group.

Izuku looked to the mummy in confusion, something about it oddly reminding him of Aizawa. Also, the whole entirety of his class was looking at him with varying expressions. However, they were all positive in nature.

"Midori!" Mina called from the front, waving excitedly in his direction.

"Welcome back Midoriya!" Iida continued in a robotic like fashion.

"It's good to see you're okay Izuku." Tsuyu croaked out.

Before anyone else could jump in, Aizawa the mummy interjected for the moment.

"There will be time for greetings and questions later. They will have to wait for the moment." He grunted.

Aizawa paused his talking as his students quieted down. The hero looked over to Vlad's class and nodded his head to his fellow hero and coworker.

"Good we can begin." Vlad announced. "First and foremost students I would like to welcome all of you back. I'm glad to see that class 1-A came out out of the attack relatively unscathed. We promise as an institution to keep all of you students safe, and a mistake like this won't happen again."

"Yes." Aizawa continued. "Class 1-B, don't think my class in any sense is better than you because they have already dealt with villains. Trust me when I say this, you are all equal still. Though I will give my class credit for doing what they did."

"However, the reason we have gathered you all here today is for one reason." Vlad paused, looking to all the classes with a determined look.

"I'm sure some of you may have noticed, but the Sports Festival that is always highlighted during this week, has changed."

Various murmurs broke out between the classes as they looked to one another. Excited whispers and conversation consumed the students as they talked amongst each other.

"Quiet down." Aizawa scolded which had the desired effect. "There's been a change of plans this year that has never happened. The Sports Festival will begin next week exactly from today, and during that time we will be respectively teaching our classes some combative training."

Once again, excited murmurs broke out amongst the students as some fist bumped each other, while others grew determined looks.

"We will also be working on bettering your usage with your quirks. We usually save this for a different date down the line, but just for this week you all will get a small head start." Vlad continued. "However, these training's will be kept separate from each class as to keep each others advantages a secret for the competition to come. So with this, we will take our separate leaves. We begin immediately." Vlad finalized.

The students cheered excitedly, Izuku included as Vlad led his class away into an indoor gym that was used for things such as this.

Izuku watched as class 1-B made their way into the building, his eyes locked onto a certain teen. Just before she had entered the doors, she abruptly turned around and flashed him a devilish smile. She winked in his direction and continued her way inside.

Izuku sighed joyously as he saw Setsuna for the first time since that time at the train a few days ago. They had messaged each other sparsely after that time, and it was mainly because Setsuna had been behind on a lot of her homework.

Which she had affectionately blamed on him, much to his chagrin. Of course she said she was joking, but Izuku could tell there might have been some truth behind it. After all, apparently she had been worried about him all this time; and so much so she rarely had time to focus.

"Midoriya, your classmates have a gift to present to you." Aizawa suddenly called.

Izuku yelped lamely as he looked back to his teacher in surprise. And just like he said, Mineta stood at the front of his class, a melon held high above his head as if it were a trophy.

"We all pitched in to get you this!" He cheered.

The rest followed as they nodded their heads with smiles, minus the ever stoic Todoroki, Katuski and Tokoyami.

"W-Wait what?" He said in shock.

"It was my idea!" Mina shouted gleefully. "At first I was going to get it for you with the help of my family..." She blushed slightly. "I-I mean you did save my l-life and all, but everyone wanted to help! Also they are kind of expensive hehe…" She rubbed her head in embarrassment.

"You also took down that villain who would have killed All Might!" Mineta furthered.

"A hero for sure!" Iida cried. "No wonder you are our class president!" He continued while comically shedding a few tears.

"You also kept me safe too." Tsuyu continued on .

"Truly a skillful and selfless hero in the making." Momo said with a smile. "Though it was worrisome knowing you were checked into a hospital."

"Honestly Deku, from what Mina and Tsuyu had told us, you were the reason they made it off that boat." Uraraka explained. "In my honest opinion I wish we could have done more…" She finished with a small bow.

Before anyone else could speak up, Aizawa cleared his throat as he looked to his class with slight annoyance.

"Izuku. What you did was reckless and extremely stupid. If it was not for so many vouching for you, I would have expelled you." He ended a bit harshly. "Not to mention, a family member of yours would have most likely harmed me if I did such a thing." He said rolling his eyes.

Izuku winced at the tongue lashing. The rest of the class looked like they wanted to say something, though kept quiet. Katsuki looked particularly peeved, but he did have to agree with Aizawa on some things he did say. The last thing Katsuki would ever want in the world would be to face Inko and Hisashi knowing he could not have saved Izuku. He would have rathered faced isolation than have to face them ever again. Luckily. And literally by extreme luck none of them came out dead, and it was honestly a huge relief for Katsuki.

Katsuki might have found everyone in his class as useless extras, except Izuku, but it did not mean he disliked them. In fact, they were all growing on him. Even Todoroki, who had rarely spoken to anyone in class. It irked Katsuki to no end, but he really did not give a shit. In any case, Katsuki held his tongue as Aizawa unfurled his bandaged arms from his chest.

"However…" Aizawa sighed while laying a hand on Izuku's shoulder. "Thank you for what you did in the end. You definitely made a difference with your selflessness. You saved my life, and others; don't let that go to your head. Don't let something like that happen again if you can help it. You're still a kid, I really don't want to face your parents with terrible news."

Izuku gulped, but nodded his head in understanding. "Y-Yes sir…"

"And that goes for all of you, just not for Midoriya." He concluded with a sigh. "In any case, enjoy the gift everyone got you." Aizawa finished with as Mineta held the fruit out to Izuku.

Izuku shakily took the fruit into his hands as he looked to his class. "Thank you guys, honestly." He said with a deep bow.

Mostly everyone just chuckled at the awkward teen as Aizawa started walking towards a separate building.

"Well let's get started than. We will be working on this all day by the way, your other classes for today will be canceled as this is what we will do for the next eight hours." Aizawa explained as his class followed. "Eventually, your other teachers will be coming in to help assist or offer advice where they can. Remember treat this as a valuable part of your lives. This will help you prepare for the Sports Festival, and overall prepare you on the road to becoming heroes." Aizawa stopped in front of the door. "Your real training starts now."

"Midoriya, your quirk is still inactive correct?"

Izuku nodded his head solemnly. "Yes Aizawa-Sensei, it has not returned yet." Izuku looked to his hands. "Last time this happened to me, it took a week for the power to return, and it's already been past that point."

"Is that so?" Aizawa grunted as he looked off to his other students deep into their own training.

He explained it to them all simple enough. Use their quirks, try out new things that would not jeopardize everyone's safety, and most importantly be safe. From the looks of it, everyone seemed to be doing fine, all except for Izuku who stood beside him.

"Izuku can you explain your quirk to me in better detail?"

"Uh, sure. What exactly would you like to know?" He questioned.

"Tell me how it works, the limitations you know of, and anything else you can think of that you have figured out." Aizawa looked to his student. "If you can't practice your quirk here like everyone else I'll teach you the best I can with words."

"O-Oh right." Izuku nodded. "Well basically anything I touch turns into stone. My fingers play important roles in this and depending on which fingers I use; it controls the speed in which it goes."

"Okay, and tell me what have you made progress with, what have you figured out?" Aizawa continued.

"It took awhile, but I managed to learn how to control the direction in which my quirk flows." Izuku took a deep breath, looking out to his class actively using their quirks in various manners. "Kind of like a stream of water, I can move it forward in front of me; though I can still flare it all around me like I've always done. I've just mastered how to move it." Izuku rubbed his head. "Unfortunately, I had only learned how to do this going straight with some movements. My main goal is to be able to channel it to go around corners and such."

"I remember hearing you know martial arts, or had some training from Itsuka Kendo correct?"

Izuku nodded. "Yes. She has taught me a lot as well as her father. They taught me about physical combat, and I can effectively use my quirk on someone in a fight." Izuku paused, a nervous look on his face. "With training dummies, I was able to finger jab and palm strike many things, and it would act as an explosion of sorts. My quirk can easily immobilize if struck in the correct area."

Aizawa hummed in thought. "I heard what you did with Kaminari. I am assuming that is what you mean correct?"

Izuku nodded once more. "Yes. I have also practiced with arms and legs. It works exactly the same in stopping my opponent; however the head always seems the most effective."

"Is that so..." Aizawa hummed to himself as he looked to his students. "Tell me Izuku. Look to Todoroki over there."

Izuku did as his teacher told, and looked over to the monochromatic teenager. The teen was off in a corner alone freezing everything in his path.

The thing about this building was it had various obstacles, targets, columns, and other things that the students could use their quirks on. Be it for combat, endurance, or honing a certain aspect of their power; this was the perfect place for all of them to practice. And Todoroki was showing the perfect example on how one should be practicing their quirk.

Izuku had only talked to him roughly three times since this semester had started. Mainly for homework or group work that needed to get done while in class.

In any case, Todoroki was controlling the way his quirked moved just by pure will alone. He had his foot placed on the ground and his quirk was flying forward, crawling along the floor like a snake. It really was an amazing sight to see, and frankly Izuku was stunned on how much control his fellow classmate had.

"Wow…" Izuku said breathlessly. "He has so much control and power, it's amazing!" He continued in wonder.

Aizawa shook his head slightly. "Izuku look closely, and I mean very closely. What perhaps do you think your quirk and his have in common?"

"In...common?" Izuku looked to Aizawa in confusion, before looking back to the teen.

Nothing appeared to be different from what Izuku could see. Todoroki was still actively flaring his quirk forward, and it would jut out of the ground violently. He would then drop the ice, and repeat the action again, only this time changing the trajectory. That's when Izuku noticed something completely different.

Todoroki reached for the ground with his right hand, and the same bout of ice that his leg would shoot out did so from his hand as well. The contact he made with the floor, with his hand, shot out the same amount of ice and speed, the spikes and shards shattering forward as it consumed a few targets and a bit of the building that stood in front of him. The spectacle stopped all the commotion from everyone else's quirks as they looked over to the large disturbance.

His right side was slightly frosted over, and an ice cold steam seemed to be seeping off of his skin. The sudden attention did not affect the half-and-half teen as he merely touched the ice with his left hand and the ice melted away.

"Sorry." His deep and monotone voice rang out as he continued on with his training.

The rest of class 1-A shuddered slightly at the raw power, of course minus Katsuki and Izuku, the latter of which was looking with disdain. Izuku on the other hand was amazed. Not just because of his classmates power, but because of how similar their quirks were in a way.

"It's like my touch…" Izuku mumbled to himself as he looked away from Todoroki.

Aizawa hummed to himself as he nodded his head gently. "Now you somewhat get it Midoriya. His quirk may work through his feet as well, but just like your touch; his quirk works as well. Of course he can turn it off, while you cannot. However, what I'm really trying to make you see is that it may be possible you can do what he does."

Izuku's eyes widened. "W-Wait what?!" He shouted in joy.

Aizawa winced at the volume of his students voice. "Think about it. He can easily freeze things by touching it. Just how you can turn things into stone by touching it. He can shoot out ice from his hand, however in your case I feel that won't be possible. Continuing, he can touch the ground and ice will come jutting out of the ground. What's stopping your quirk from doing such a thing, when his and your both involve touch?"

Izuku was mesmerized by Aizawa's words as he looked to his own hands with a trembling feeling of excitement.

"Again. Just a theory, I mean have you ever really tried?" Aizawa shrugged as best he could while under all the wraps.

"Umm, I mean how does one try that?" Izuku furthered.

Aizawa let out a rare chuckle. "Beats me. That's why you will go talk to Todoroki and figure that out."

"W-What?" Izuku shivered as Aizawa walked off to Uraraka.

"You'll figure it out, I have to talk to the others now."

With that Izuku was left by his lonesome as the rest of his class actively kept training. Seeing all of them so concentrated was an uplifting feeling. It pumped him up even if he himself could not actively be apart of it. However, he now had a difficult task ahead of him; and that was talking to Shouto Todoroki.

The teen was not exactly on friendly terms, or talkative terms in this case with anyone. Izuku had a feeling that the pitching in of the watermelon they got him did not involve him.

Izuku gulped. "W-Well here goes nothing." Izuku shuddered to himself as he walked towards the apathetic boy.

Izuku was mindful to be wary of the other students and what they were doing. He did not want to be caught in one of their quirks that was for sure.

"Deku."

Izuku jumped slightly as he looked to the voice.

Katsuki was drenched in sweat, taking deep breaths as they looked to one another.

"Oh hey Kacchan." Izuku stopped his walking. "What's up?"

Katsuki scoffed. "What the hell do you think you're doing?"

Izuku's face grew perplexed. "What I'm doing?" He questioned.

Katsuki sighed. "Yes you idiot. Why are you going to that extra?"

"Todoroki?" Izuku guessed.

"Yes."

"Oh, umm…" Izuku said while rubbing his hands together. "Aizawa explained to me that there is a possibility what Todoroki does with his ice; I could do with my quirk." He explained.

Katsuki was going to retort, however paused as Izuku's words played around his head for a few seconds. Katsuki did not really know why he called out to Izuku. Frankly, he did not care what his best friend was doing, but the nervous look on Izuku's face unnerved him slightly. Maybe he was getting soft, like Itsuka?

Katsuki shuddered at the thought. "Whatever." He concluded as he walked back to a set of stone pillars, his palms sparking.

Izuku watched as his friend walked away with an indifferent expression. Fortunately, that little talk was enough to calm his nerves as he set his path back to Todoroki.

Izuku felt a cold gust of wind sweep his hair as he was finally upon his classmate. Who ultimately stopped mid usage of his quirk, and turned to the interruption.

"Midoriya." His cold voice simply said.

Izuku chuckled. "Hey Todoroki, you mind if I watch?"

Todoroki raised a brow at this. "Shouldn't you be training to." He questioned, though with the way his voice sounded it; it was more like a demand.

Izuku smiled softly to the cold boy. "My quirk has not returned yet, so I can't effectively practice like all of you now."

Todoroki looked to Izuku hands. They were free from their splints, however, his hand now had a small set of scars on it. Notably his index fingers had a gash in each of them with a slight bruised tint to them.

"What do you mean it hasn't returned?" He actually questioned.

Izuku held out his two index fingers in explanation. "Whenever I use my quirk out of these two fingers, it's at its strongest. However...wait do you know what quirk bite is?"

Todoroki nodded his head. "Yes. I'm very familiar with it."

Izuku laughed somewhat. "Well that happens to me. I get quirk bite; which stops my quirk from working for an undisclosed amount of time, I'm filled with an unbearable pain for a few minutes, and worst of all my colored vision goes away." Izuku took a breath. "In other words, I see everything in this depressing grey color, it was only until recently that I could see the color again, but my quirk is still MIA." He chuckled.

For the briefest of seconds Izuku caught a subtle smile that graced Todorki's face before the indifferent look returned.

"Huh." He nonchalantly answered with. "Knock yourself out."

Todoroki then turned back around and continued his training, acting as if Izuku had never approached him in the first place.

Izuku stayed silent as he watched Todoroki use his quirk repeatedly; and he especially looked close to how his hand would touch the ground at times.

"Every time he touches the ground, it just comes out. It looks like it takes no effort at all, but it must have taken him a very long time to perfect that." Izuku silently kept taking mental notes as he continually watched on. "Then comes the question if he's willing the ice to jut out of the ground, or if it's just a natural reaction for his quirk. Could I really do this?"

Izuku really wanted to believe he could pull this off, but there was a large amount of doubt in him that thought otherwise. However, he did wonder how his entire life he never even thought of something like this; or better yet actually trying to do something else with his quirk other than just touching things. Unfortunately, Izuku's personal musings came to an end when Aizawa called out to the class.

"Everyone, take a fifteen minute break. Sit around, walk around I don't care. Just be back in fifteen exactly starting now." He grumbled as he made his way out the door of the building.

Everyone looked to one another in confusion before shrugging and splitting off into groups. Todoroki walked right by Izuku with no word as he made his way to the door.

"Todoroki?" Izuku said before he could leave.

The emotionless teen turned to him with an even deader expression.

"Thanks for letting me watch for that little bit. I appreciate it." Izuku thanked while smiling.

Todoroki did nothing but nod once, before turning around and walking out of the building.

"Very stoic is he not?"

Izuku turned to the voice, noticing a group of his friends walking his way.

Izuku chuckled. "He really is Yaoyorozu."

"Hey Deku?" Uraraka questioned as they all now stood in front of him. "Your quirk hasn't returned yet?"

Accompanying Momo and Ochako was Tsuyu, Iida, Mina, and Katsuki.

"That's right." Mina said with a finger to her chin thought. "I remember Itsuka telling us about that."

Izuku just smiled to his group of friends as he rubbed his hands together. "Yeah it's still gone. It should be back hopefully anytime soon though, I don't want to miss out on the Festival…" He said with a forlorn tone.

"You better not miss it." Katsuki grumbled. "I expect the both of us to be in the finals fighting it out. So I can kick your ass on a national scale." He smiled devilishly.

Izuku laughed. "Well I sure hope it returns now. I'd like to make you eat those words." He smiled back in return.

The two best friends smiled never dropped as their continued stare off increased tenfold.

"You two are a weird pair of best friends." Tsuyu complimented. "Total opposites, but you get along so weirdly." The frog further analyzed.

Ochako and Mina giggled audibly as Momo just smiled at the small banter between the two friends.

"In any case Midoriya. I sure hope it comes sooner rather than later." Iida 'chopped' out. "It'd be a shame if a classmate of ours missed out on such a wonderful opportunity."

Izuku nodded. "It would be a shame, but I do have my hopes up guys. I mean it is nice being able to touch things so freely though…"

Mina laid an arm around his shoulder in a chummy fashion.

"Bah! It'll return in no time Midori!" She said just a tad too close to his ear. "Plus that wonderful quirk of yours is so pretty. It can't just up and leave!"

Izuku blushed. "Umm, y-yeah."

Mina matched the shade of red on his face with her own, though she was smiling widely.

Uraraka, Tsuyu and Momo looked to one another in slight confusion, yet they had a somewhat knowing look exchanged in between. Iida and Katsuki did not pay that closeness much attention as it was normal for the pink acid user to be overly affectionate and emotional. Also Katsuki did not care.

Nevertheless, the small group of friends for the moment talked a bit more before Aizawa and a few of the others returned right on time. The training recommenced and for the next two hours before lunch the students practiced and practiced.

All Izuku could do was further look on in wonder at his various classmates amazing quirks, and he still made sure to keep his eyes on Todoroki. It was an odd feeling wanting his quirk back, but standing around the way he did, did not abode well with him. He was falling behind, and he needed to catch up quick.

Lunch was upon the two training classes before they even knew it. Each of their respective classes exited the buildings, somewhat awkwardly convening in the middle of the PE grounds as they all made their way to the cafeteria.

Of course, to those that were in Midoriya's lunch table group, followed along one another with smiles and laughter as they made their way. Izuku in particular was having a great time as Setsuna was walking right beside him with her same shark toothed grin.

"So Hero, I can assume you couldn't participate in the hero training huh?" She interjected casually.

Izuku offered her a small chuckled. "Unfortunately I couldn't participate, but I do have hope I can soon enough." He said with a grin.

She hummed to herself as she heard his word. Though the rest of the group flagged alongside them. Setsuna felt she was alone with the fellow teen, and frankly she liked it. She liked it a lot.

Ever since that day he walked her to the train, she saw him in a whole new light. He was no longer that cute boy she enjoyed teasing to no end. He was now that cute boy she enjoyed teasing to no end, albeit with a different tone.

She saw him differently now that much she was sure of. And the way she still felt her heart flutter every time he would look to her, or call her name was a great feeling. She could only hope Izuku himself had taken the hint with what she had said before they parted ways at the train. However, he was a boy; and he was dense a lot of the time so she could only hope.

"What about you Rose?" He said interrupting her inner thoughts. "How did your training go?"

Setsuna felt her cheeks warm as he referred to her in her most favorite way.

"Oh you should of seen me!" She bragged cutely. "I was all over the place! Literally!" She chuckled.

Izuku smiled. "I bet! Oh your quirk is just so amazing Setsuna! You can do so much with your body parts that it's unreal!" He further cheered.

Setsuna smiled mischievously. "Oh wouldn't you like to know what my 'body parts' could do ehhh?"

Izuku choked on his own saliva at her bold statement. He should have known she would turn his innocent musings into something so...stimulating.

As he sputtered, Setsuna roared loudly at his reaction.

"Ah my Hero~" She cooed. "You're just to easy!" She continued as she awaited her place in the food line alongside the others.

Izuku had to clutch a hand to his chest as he looked to her incredulously.

"S-Setsuna you can't just go saying things like that." He somewhat whispered.

She brushed off his words as her turn neared. "Bah! And why can't I go saying stuff like that huh?" She challenged as Lunch Rush looked towards her.

"Good afternoon!" The pro hero called. "What'll be young student?"

Before she could answer, Izuku grew a devilish idea. One that he knew would throw the never ending teasing girl for a loop. Especially, the ever graceful Shiozaki that just so happened to be standing behind him. With bravado that even he did not know he had, Izuku whispered in her ear.

"You can't go saying that stuff, because then I'll ask if I can take one of your boobs home with me..."

"BOOB?!" Setsuna splurged loudly as she looked to Izuku with wide and shocked eyes.

Every single eye turned to the teen with confused looks as she became the center of attention. The friends who were still in line behind them looked on with raised brows as Setsuna looked to Izuku with a mortified look

Her face was beat red, her legs felt shaky, but most importantly she felt herself shivering at the thought.

"Boob." Lunch Rush said plainly as he looked to the student with a blank look. Which was hard to tell because of the weird mask he wore, but one could tell he was puzzled by the students request.

"S-S-Sorry!" Her voice cracked. "A s-salad just for today…"

"Huh. Alright it'll be over there by the pick up area?" He finished plainly.

"T-Thanks!" Her voice said a bit to loudly.

Setsuna hurriedly made her way to the pickup, completely ignoring the chuckling fit Izuku was having behind her. The others in the cafeteria watched on in somewhat silence before returning to their own conversations, the topic of the weird girl now at the forefront of many of their conversations.

Izuku got her good, but Setsuna was challenged in a way she knew she could win. She was definitely going to get him back by the end of today...that much she knew.

As Izuku watched her hurriedly walk away, he felt his chuckles slowly die down as his turn came up. He could just feel the slight secondhand embarrassment from the girl, and frankly he was very proud of himself for how far he had come. The Izuku a month ago would have never been able to challenge a girl in such a way, then again he never imagined he would have found himself so interested in a girl.

Izuku knew for a fact. He liked Setsuna, and even if he still did not feel ballsy enough to possibly confess his feelings for her, he knew he could at least keep up with her in the teasing somewhat. Even if the minute he said something so bold, he would feel slightly mortified; however the look she gave him was well worth it.

"Oh! Izuku, Katsudon I'm assuming?" Lunch Rush quipped.

Izuku nodded his head with a smile. "Yes please!"

"Let the lord guide me...let the lord guide me…"

Izuku had forgotten about the girl in those few seconds. He gave a glance behind him as he made his way to the pick up spot.

Shiozaki was fanning her face fiercely as her face blushed hotly. She kept repeating the small prayer to herself as her turn eventually came up. Uraraka was stood behind the praying girl and looked to Izuku in still obvious confusion. Izuku just shrugged his shoulders as he walked away, picking up his food as he eventually sat himself by the suddenly quiet Setsuna.

Eventually, the table filled up and everyone broke out into their usual conversations that they had. In Izuku and Setsuna's case, the girl looked to be giving him the cold shoulder for the moment as she ate her salad in silence. Izuku gulped some of his food down harshly as he kept looking to the girl with a slightly guilty look.

"Maybe I took it too far?" He questioned to himself.

"Hey, Izuku." Mina suddenly called.

"Huh?" He questioned as he turned his attention to her.

"Some drop dead diamond came by before you all sat down looking for you?"

"D-Drop dead diamond?" He questioned in confusion.

Mina nodded as she stuffed a piece of fried Salmon down her mouth.

"Mmmhmm." She hummed with her mouth still full.

"Oh yeah." Toru furthered. "She said something about if our class had a student who could turn things into stone?"

"Okay?" Izuku said still confused. "Uhh, what did this person want?"

Toru and Mina shrugged simultaneously.

"Beats us." Toru answered for the both of them.

Before the conversation could be directed to something else, Izuku felt a presence standing tall behind him.

Everyone at the table looked to the intrusion, minus Izuku, with wide and awe filled eyes. Even Setsuna was looking to whatever stood behind Izuku with a praising gaze.

"What?" Izuku wondered as he saw everyone looking behind him.

"That's her." Mina said as she pointed behind him.

Izuku slowly turned around, only to be met chest to face with the largest mounds of flesh he had ever laid eyes on. They were of course tightly held together by the mysterious guest's school uniform, but Izuku was not prepared. Not one bit.

"Hmmm…" She said in thought as she looked to Izuku.

Izuku felt the blood rush to his face and felt slightly light headed as his mind eventually caught up with what was happening.

"You wouldn't happen to be the boy Kayama-Sensei was alluding to right?"

All conversations ceased at the table as everyone looked to the odd spectacle in fascination.

"A-Auntie N-N-Nemu?" He stuttered habitually.

"Ah!" She cried in triumph. "You must be him! Her nephew!" She bounced with joy.

Everyone's eyes comically followed the movement of the girls chest as she got all giddy.

"Oh I've been asking everyone!" She whined. "First I went to some of the other first years, no luck! Then I went to that cute pink skinned girl over there and still no luck! Then I saw a pair of clothes walking around, and I thought to myself, how's that possible?! Of course I had to investigate and low and behold those clothes were attached to someone! I kept asking around and around, but Kayama-Sensei would of course leave me hanging by never giving me your actual name. But luckily by pure luck it is you! Her nephew! The boy with the quirk that turns things into stone yes?!" She finally took a breath.

Izuku was astounded. The table was astonished. Setsuna was flabbergasted. Perhaps Izuku had finally been dethroned for the longest amount of time talking without a single breath. The speeds in which she talked matched his own, and she did not even bat a single lash as she continually rambled on. Izuku barely even got most of what she said, but he did eventually catch the last question.

"Umm, yes?" He answered hesitantly.

The mysterious girl giggled cutely as she bounced up and down once more in excitement.

"Yay!" She cheered. "Oh tell me what your quirk does? Tell me! Oh I bet it looks so freaking cool too! Not to mention, if Kayama-Sensei still has that pin your quirk must have a long lasting effect." She paused for a rare moment as she held a finger to her chin. "Actually, what does that pin symbolize? It must mean something if she keeps it around right? You must know don't you?!" She implored.

"Wai- What?" Izuku answered with.

"Oh where are my manners!" She scolded herself. "My name is Nejire Hado! Nice to meet you all!" She called to the rest of the table.

The complete turn in the conversation threw them all for a loop once more, but they all introduced themselves in their own ways with hellos and such.

"I'm Izuku Midoriya." Izuku eventually said hesitantly still.

She grew another thoughtful look. "Wait, how can you be related to Kayama-Sensei with different last names? And I know she is not married either." The girl furthered.

Before Izuku could even begin to answer any of the hundred questions she spewed out, the bell rang signaling the end of the lunch period.

"Awww…" She whined. "I didn't get to ask all my questions." She further grumbled.

"Uhh sorry?" Izuku answered as many of them stood up from the table.

"Oh well. See you first years around!" She called as she walked off to an unknown location. "OH!" She shouted while turning around, hurriedly scribbling something on a piece of paper as she approached him. "This my phone number! I still have so many questions! Bye now!" She cheered as she shoved the paper into his hands.

Izuku looked to the paper in complete shock. That was not what he was expecting at all. As he looked to his friends, each of them had varying faces of confusion and awe.

"Uhhh she was…?" Uraraka paused.

"Interesting?" Itsuka second.

"Weird?" Pony furthered thirdly.

"Funny?" Mina continued fourthly.

"Annoying as fuck?" Katsuki surprisingly answered.

Everyone looked to the hotheaded teen and seemed to somewhat mutually nod their heads at his words.

"Hey, she just seems to be a curious spirit." Shiozaki defended.

"Very curious." Momo chuckled.

"And Izuku got her number, way to go killer~" Mina Jokingly teased.

Izuku's faced blushed hotly as Setsuna poked him in the head. "How do you expect me to compete with that Izuku?" She whined. "I am not keen on sharing." She teased.

"Wh-Wait what?" Izuku stuttered as he felt himself sweating a comically large amount.

The table broke out into minor chuckles and giggles as Izuku looked to them all in nothing but embarrassment.

Iida eventually shook his head with a smile as he stood from the table. "In any case, class starts in the next few minutes. We should get going."

That was something they could at least all agree on for the moment.

As they walked towards the PE grounds once more, Izuku noticed how Setsuna seemed to be deep in thought.

"Rose? Are you okay?" He said gently. "Was it what I said in the lunch line?"

Setsuna looked to Izuku with questioning eyes, though shook her head with a smile.

"Oh no. I was just ignoring you to be a tease." She giggled. "I was going to eventually talk to you and get you back, but that girl came around." She paused looking to her chest. "You think mine will grow that big Hero?" She cooed whilst boldly cupping her breast in a not so school friendly fashion.

Izuku once again choked on some saliva he so happened to be swallowing as her words rang through his ears. The others heard the girls comment and laughed it off. Katsuki of course did not care, but he had to admit the look Izuku had was worthy of a subtle chuckle.

"Ha!" She cried. "That shade of red is quite flattering on your face." She teased on.

Izuku sighed lovingly as he looked to all of his friends with cheerful eyes.

"Lord oh please guide me...Lord oh please guide me…" The religious girl whispered to herself once more at the very lewd and vulgar movement of her fellow friend.

That garnered laughter from everyone else once more. Izuku looked to everyone with a sense of pride and belonging. He really did find a somewhat special place in this little group that formed out of just Katsuki, Itsuka, and himself. Even if they were going to compete against one another for the gold next week, Izuku felt like he finally fit into a crowd, and it was one he was joyful about.

"Sooooooo?" Nemuri questioned. "How did the first day of training go my sweet?"

Izuku turned from the car window, and looked over to his aunt. "Oh it went great auntie! Even though I can't use my quirk like everyone else, I learned a lot of new things about my classmates. As well as what I can maybe even do."

The woman gave him a side glance before looking back to the road. "Oh? And what did my little nephew figure out?" She cooed.

Izuku sighed with endearment. "You know I'm not so little anymore right? I'm about to be fifteen." He chuckled.

Nemuri shrugged. "Heck if I care!" She cheered. "You can have a beard with a full blown family, and I will always refer to use as my little nephew."

Izuku smiled warmly to the woman, his gaze looking to the window once more. "Well I guess that's alright. But! When I do have kids they get to call you grandma as much as they want!"

The woman choked up slightly. "T-Thats the only way I'd allow myself to be called grandma."

Izuku nodded his head. "Hey auntie Nemu, I have a question."

"Shoot."

"Earlier a girl named Nejire Hado came by my group of friends lunch table looking for me? Said something about knowing you."

Nemuri chuckled. "Did she now? That girl..." She sighed. "I'm assuming she was asking about your quirk?"

Izuku nodded. "Yes but that is not what I was wondering about."

"Oh?" She wondered.

"I am sorry I never really asked, but the rose pin you carry around..."

Nemuri nodded. "Oh the lovely pin that you have forever marked with your quirk? What about it?"

Izuku rubbed his hands together gently. "It had me wondering when Hado had asked about it. What is the significance of it?"

Nemuri fully expected this was where the conversation was heading, but the woman had to admit she still felt touchy on the subject. She had only ever told Aiko about the meaning behind it, but she could not help but want to tell Izuku. as she reached a red light, the woman paused, looking over to the teen with a small smile. Nemuri reached into her pocket and pulled the pin out, handing it over into his hand.

"You know, only your other aunt knows what this pin means to me. No one else does, but I feel you deserve to know."

"Auntie Aiko?" Izuku said in wonder.

"Mmmhmm." She sighed. "Izu. I am sure you looked it up since you are a hero fanatic, but did you ever see anything come up about my parents? About my early childhood? Anything like that?"

Izuku got lost in thought as he tried his best to remember of such a thing, As far as he could tell, nothing was ever said about that part of her life, and a good majority of the early upbringings of her life were actually unknown. Unlike other heroes, their lives were open books. Their parents and their quirks, where the hero went to school, and so many of aspects of their lives were known to those who just bothered to look. Yet, Nemuri Kayama had no such history to speak of. It was known she graduated from U.A and had an agency for a few years, but that was pretty much it. Her beginnings were not known to anyone but herself, and Aiko.

"Umm, I can't recall auntie. Nothing was ever said..." He said with his voice trailing off.

Nemuri sighed, offering him a sad smile as the light turned green. "Izu I never knew my parents."

"W-What?" He said in disbelief.

"I'm an orphan Izu. I never had parents as far as I could tell, but obviously I was born from them." She chuckled dryly. "The beginnings of my life are not known because even I have trouble wondering how I had made it. I was in an orphanage till I was eight, before I ran away and lived on the streets for quite a long time. The orphanage head mistress would routinely lash the middle section of our backs if we did anything remotely bad. And she would even do so just to hear us suffer. The whole area has been permanently scarred over, its a reminder of my younger days. So I took my chances and left while I could."

As they neared the apartment complex, Izuku looked to his aunt with hurt filled eyes.

"A lot happened in that time. There are many things I have repressed, as well as had to do in order to stay alive..." She gulped. "Luckily my quirk allowed me to get out of situations, but even then it was a hard life. I was alone in the world Izu. Japan then was a cruel and miserable place. I was alone when the whole hero thing went into full swing, but even then life was difficult compared to the sanctuary it is now. Metaphorically speaking."

Nemuri paused her talking as she parked the car in the apartment parking lot.

"When I had turned thirteen, I realized in order for me to really survive in this world I needed to go to school, and become a hero like so many my age were aiming for. I am skipping over a lot of things because I do not wish for you to see me differently or ask to many questions..." She gave him an apologetic look. "But I forced myself to go to school, and I managed to land a job as a waitress in some restaurant I can't even remember. It was not nice their, but again I had to do what I had to. Through some god blessed miracle, I managed to get into U.A a year later with very limited knowledge and barely any training. If I am being honest, I just got lucky that years entrance exam involved fighting other students, and my quirk managed to make all my opponents sleep. It was just enough for me to pass."

Izuku remained silent as she continued her tale, his heart ached every single second as she spoke. Her words of the abuse she experienced in the orphanage sickened him. Not to mention he wondered how he had never noticed such marks. Her hero costume had always been revealing, but it always covered her middle back. Even the first costume she wore had made sure to block out that section. That just made the whole design of her costume even more tear jerking.

"A-Auntie?" Izuku suddenly interrupted. "Can I see the scars?"

Nemuri gave him a nervous look. "That's exactly the same thing your aunt Aiko had asked. Whatever for though?" She wondered.

"I just need to see..." He begged.

Nemuri sighed. "You're just like your aunt. But sadly..." The woman paused, giving him her back and lifted her shirt just enough for him to see.

Izuku's eyes widened when all he saw was a white gauge of sorts that covered the area.

"This is my strongest insecurity Izuku. All my life I have made sure to keep it covered even if I am wearing clothes. I'll show you one day like I did your aunt, but just know they are there, as ugly as ever..." She winced as she fixed her shirt back down.

Izuku did not like the way she said that one bit. It reminded him on how he felt with his own quirk.

"In any case, the whole point of this story revolves around this pin, but I needed to tell you all of that in order for you to understand." She took a deep breath. "It was just a few months before we had first met all those years ago. You were nine then. Anyways, this pin is important to me because a two year old girl gave it to me." She grew a thoughtful look. "It was during a house fire, and luckily I was nearby. I managed to save this single mother and her daughter. They had lost everything, and it tore my heart beyond imagination. Especially since this family looked to already be going through some hardships. So with a large portion of the money used to fund my agency, I helped the two get back on their feet."

Nemuri looked back to Izuku. "They were grateful, and that little girl was the most adorable thing I ever laid eyes one. Apparently, they found out my birthday was approaching after the few times I visited them. The little girl went out of her way and gave me something that she held dear." Nemuri held the pin up. "It was this pin that she gave me, and ever since then I have cherished it."

Izuku eyes looked to her in understanding now as she continued.

Nemuri grew a teary look. "S-Sadly a about a month later, the mother died in a car accident from what I could gather, and the girl was adopted by one of her family members. To this day I still do not know where she went, but I have hope we will meet again some day. By you using your quirk on this pin, it give this pin a deeper meaning. All my life I have never known what a family was until you two showed me. Even if our time was limited, I adored that girl so much. Just like you Izuku, I adore you more than life itself, you're the world to me. I am grateful to be a part of your life like I am now. This pin symbolizes those in my life I hold dear, and you hold it all together. Its a family I never had, but you changed that. Your mother and father, and Aiko changed that for me. I would do anything for you all. You are my family now."

Izuku reached over and hugged his aunt with tear filled eyes. He learned so much about her, and it hurt his soul. Even if she glossed over some parts of her life like she said, knowing a loved one of his went through such a hardship made him feel so small. No matter what that experience would stick with his aunt, and now he knew her tale.

"I love you with all my heart auntie. I am glad you're a part of my life now."

Nemuri managed to control her 'ugly crying' for the moment as she hugged the boy just as tight. "Anything you need, you ever need me at any time of day, you just call me Izuku. You're a part of my life, you and your family. You are stuck with me." She choked out.

"I would not have it any other way auntie Nemu." Izuku sighed, though he did have searing question still in his mind.

"Auntie?" He questioned one last time as he dropped the hug. "What did the little girl look like?"

Nemuri sighed as she wiped at her eyes. "Oh she was the cutest thing you'd ever see Izuku. She had silky white hair that grew under her chin; she had glowing red eyes that were just so beautiful." Nemuri smiled. "Perhaps her most adorable feature of all was the tiny little horn that grew on the right side of her forehead..."

Izuku smiled lovingly. "She sounds adorable auntie, I know you two will meet again some day. And I'd love to meet her when that day comes."

Nemuri offered him one last sad smile before she started to exit the car. "I sure hope so Izu. Eri was her name, and there are many times I wonder what became of her?"
