Spoilers for 'Re: Zero' in this chapter, I recommend watching it so that some things make sense more but either way there will be slight changes due to it being here but a heads up for anyone who doesn't want to get spoiled.

Izuku woke up feeling really refreshed, he needed it after what happened yesterday since it felt like his energy got sucked out of him every single time.

He didn't know what to do anymore since he had no knowledge on how the watch worked or how to fix it, 'If only there was a goddamn manual, this would be so much easier and less tiring.' he didn't know how long he slept either but it didn't matter to him.

He tried to take the watch off but it seemed stuck on him, which was weird since the people in the Speedwagon Foundation were able to take their ones off.

Now that he was less tired, the details of the cave became more clear. There were a pair of chains that looked like it was meant for holding someone or something down, it seemed like the cave was actually a place someone was using.

Midoryia was still in the cave which was a good start since he didn't want to wake up in some other random place, the outside was like a normal forest. It was peaceful and gave of a calming aura.

If the cave was being used then anyone could have found Izuku when he was asleep, he didn't want to think about it.

He walked and walked until he could find the nearest sign of civilization, he sensed eyes watching him from every direction, but he shook it off as something that would happen if you were in an unknown world.

The closest thing he could find was a sort of road made out of dirt that seemed to lead somewhere. He decided to follow it to find someone but after a minute, he felt something approaching from behind so he quickly turned but was too late.

"Ouch! What the hell?", He got bit on the arm before summoning his stand "[THE WORLD]" which punched the attacker to the nearest tree. When Midoryia looked at it, it was some sort of dog that had really sharp teeth and claws, huge ears, red eyes and a little horn on its nose. The colour of it was black and brown, the size was about the same as Izuku which was huge.

After making sure it was dead, by punching it loads of times until it completely stopped moving, he looked at his arm and saw a massive bite mark on it which looked nasty, Izuku could have sworn that he saw some black smoke rise from it.

He decided to just hide it with his sleeve, Midoryia didn't expect this to happen so he was in a long-sleeved shirt and some tracksuit trousers. It was all he could find that was comfortable in the Speedwagon closet.

Another issue that Izuku had was when he responded to the bite. He clearly said "Ouch! What the hell?" but it didn't sound like he was speaking in Japanese, it didn't sound like a language he heard of back in his world. This meant the watch must of given him the ability to speak and understand the language, he summoned his yellow ally and touched the watch with it which sent a bunch of stand energy through him. 'Seriously.', Midoryia groaned, it turned out the watch wasn't just an ordinary one.

With the type of energy that came out of it, it actually was a stand all along! That explains why he can't take it off, it must of happened during when he travelled worlds after the actual watch broke. Since it wouldn't come off, he assumed that it was now apart of his stand, he guessed that he should just add it to his firepower. Izuku didn't know what to call it so he just left it as 'The World' but he'll think of something later.

Back to the story, Midoryia continued walking until he saw some type of village, when he saw it, the watch said it was about morning time. It looked a bit peaceful but some people were running about and it looked like some emergency happened over night. He decided that he should keep his presence from the least amount of people as possible because he still didn't know what would happen if he messed with other places.

As if responding to his thoughts, The World activated and Izuku was glowing with some sort of energy. When he was walking through the village, the villagers didn't seem to notice him while he was doing his part to not accidently walk into someone.

Someone opened a door from one of the houses where Midoryia was next too, the person who walked out was a male and were wearing a white shirt that had scratch marks on it so they probably just fought something. They had brown eyes, black hair, black trousers and black shoes.

"Barasu, you're awake?", Izuku jumped because a voice came out of nowhere to the side of him. Just to make sure he didn't do anything, he tip toed a bit further away. The new voice belonged to what Midoryia saw to be some sort of maid attire, they had pink hair that covered one of their eyes which were also pink.

The newly named Barasu turned around to face the pink-haired person and said "Ram... Listen, uh... I mean, about Rem..." after that they walked closer and did a little bow with his head that looked like he was apologising for something. Izuku looked carefully at both of the people, the Ram person and Barasu, they looked so different. Barasu seemed like the average person that Midoryia would see from people unfortunate enough not to get a quirk or just someone to fill the background with no talent at all. Ram looked magical, not in a metaphorical sense as well, Izuku could feel some sort of aura coming out of her however it wasn't too strong but would be a bit of a problem if they fought.

"How shameful you are, pestering others for food so soon after being that badly injured." Ram seemed to take that gesture as Barasu asking for something which was a little weird.

"Maybe some dog rubbed off on you from the bites." Midoryia was interested since he also got bitten by one of those weird looking dogs things on the way there.

After watching the poor boy get force fed, even though Barasu liked it, Izuku learned that the village children got attacked the night before by a pack of 'Ulgarm' or 'Mabeasts' and the boy standing next to him was their saviour. Apparently, Ram repaired something that kept the village safe and started handing some food to the villages. Midoryia followed Barasu who knocked on another house, it had children sleeping in it, they must of been the ones who got attacked. Izuku had only been with the boy for a few minutes but he had a strong respect for the guy.

Even better, Barasu didn't even accept the reward given to him, even if the way he exited was a bit weird.

The man came to a stop and said "Beako… Hey, I heard you helped remove the curse from the kids." Midoryia looked to where he was looking at and saw a small girl that had long cream coloured hair that was tied into two twin drills. She had blue eyes that had a pink butterfly shape in the middle, she wore a filled dress that had a cape which was held on by a butterfly shaped ribbon. Beako had pink ribbons, pink and purple tights, and purple shoes and their was a small crown that was on her right side of her hair.

The second thing in that sentence that caught his attention was the "curse" part. 'This world has curses!' in the quirk world, there were quirks that represented curses but they were nothing like the real thing. 'If those dog things cause curses, does that mean I'm cursed as well?!' he quickly rolled up his sleeve and looked at the bite mark, the bite didn't look much by itself but it did start to feel a bit off.

They said some other things but the small girl said that there was something important to discuss.

The two went to a shaded are that was just below a path, the area was surrounded in farmland. Izuku felt it was nice for him considering he spent all his life in the city and there wasn't much space there.

He learned that Barasu only had half a day to live since what happened last night gave him too many curses to be undone. The only thing he could do was either to give up or kill the Mabeasts that cursed him. Midoryia felt that it was weird that the boy didn't freak out when he got told that information, even Beako was sorta surprised.

"You... You aren't even scared, I suppose? I'm telling you how much time you have left, you know."

The curses that the beasts give to people activate after a while, once they activate, it sucks the mana out of the target and replenishes it for the beast so that they can continue living. Izuku didn't like the idea of these creatures, he had only faced one but it still was able to sneak up on him and damage him pretty much without him knowing till the last second.

"Well, sure, I'm scared." Izuku doubted that but continued listening, "But I doubt you came here just to tell me I'm going to die. I don't think you're that mean." Barasu casually explained his reasoning.

"What do you know about me, I suppose?"

"If nothing else, I feel I've known you four times longer than I really have." Barasu said that while holding up 4 fingers, 'That statement seems oddly specific but who knows, I've literally been here for one night.' Izuku thought.

"But it's a fact that the chance for you to be saved is much lower now."

"Tell me... Just how low it is."

"We're talking about eating by means of a spell. If the one that's eating dies, logic says the meal would be cancelled, I suppose."

"I just have to kill the things that cursed me." Barasu lifted his shirt up, revealing loads of scratches and bite marks "But there are too many of them."

"Man, the difficulty level is seriously demonic! This is just plain impossible... I might as well give up-" The boy kneeled down and was in a crouched position before he started sweating loads. He looked up as if he was remembering something horrific, "Where... is Rem?" the question confused Midoryia but Beako stayed silent, "Beako... Beatrice, where is Rem?!" he stood while putting his hands on Beatrice's shoulders.

With the revolution that Beako was not in fact her name but was Beatrice instead. Who else's name has he gotten wrong, what's next? Barasu not actually being his name?!

"In her position, what would you do, I suppose?" Beatrice said calmly to Barasu. Midoryia saw that the boy's face was twisted with emotion, mainly sadness, this Rem person must be important to him.

"I can't ignore what you just said." Once again, Ram suddenly appeared next to him, she obviously knows where he is otherwise she couldn't coincidentally do the same thing twice in a row. The shock of it made him jump from the place he was to the shaded area that was down below, him landing flicked a few specks of dust that no-one saw.

"Rem didn't go to the forest alone, did she?" This time, Ram looked more serious than before. She jumped down next to Beatrice.

"Why... Why would Rem go to such lengths for me?" Izuku thought about who this Rem character could be, they seem quite powerful.

Ram started running and Barasu caught up to her and stopped her by grabbing her sleeve, "Hey, hold on!"

"Let go of me, Barasu! Right now, I'm not calm enough to be kind!" The pink haired girl was trying to run but Barasu was pulling in the other direction to stop her in the most tense game of tug of war Midoryia had ever seen.

"If you want to save Rem, and if you consider me an ally at all, listen to me! Do you know where Rem is?"

"If I use my clairvoyance, I will! It's a power that allows me to see what the bugs and animals on my wavelength are seeing." Izuku sweat 'Wait a minute, does that mean she can see me?' that would be bad but it didn't seem that she could, maybe it's time that he revealed himself. Who knows, they might let him join in on their adventure.

"Then they're like your security cameras? Well, if we can use it to get to Rem, fine."-'Wait, security cameras? Looking at that village, it would seem that where he is was a not technology advanced area so it made no sense for this dude to know it. Maybe...' Midoryia's thoughts went wild that he nearly missed the conversation in front of him.

"So, are you the kind of maid that fights?" Barasu asked.

"What does that mean?" Ram answered his question with another question.

"It means I'm going to the forest with you."

"You're going to follow me?"

"Yeah. I'm bound to slow you down in a fight, you know." Barasu did a thumbs up and smiled while saying that, 'That's not something that you're supposed to be proud of!' Izuku told him off inside of his head.

"If you expect that I can fight like Rem does in her demon form, I can't." Wait what, Midoryia did a small check in his mind that his was still awake because 'demon' said so casually was not done often in his world. Sure it was used a lot in video games and shows but there were a lot more stories about actual demons once quirks appeared, such as the one about a demon that could actually take quirks from people it encountered. The other thing that surprised him was that the person they were looking for was a demon as well.

"You're twins, right? If Rem is a demon, aren't you a demon, too?"-'Seriously, oh shit.' the girl in front of him was actually a demon, he would of never of guessed that from appearance alone. She didn't seem horrible so Izuku wondered if demons were also good guys in this world.

Ram looked down a bit and looked sad before saying "Unlike Rem, I'm hornless. I can only use a rather extreme bit of wind magic." The first sentence said implied that demons got their power from their horn which was an interesting concept. The second sentence was amazing, 'Magic' was the big thing here which must replace the concept of quirks but just insanely more powerful.

The girl raised he hand in front of her face then swiped it right. Midoryia prepared his stand just in case and was met with a blast of wind, Ram used some sort of AOE attack that shook the ground for a second.

Beatrice walked up to the two "Going to retrieve the younger sister would mean giving up on your own life. You do understand that, I suppose?" she turned to Barasu who just smiled.

"That's not quite right. Let me correct you. Forming the habit of giving up because you're used to dying is dumb. Life is precious! You only get one! When you guys went through so much to save mine, I realized that. So if you don't mind, I'm going to struggle pathetically. Let's go make a comeback! I've bounced back from the terrible state I was in. I'm a greedy guy. And I want to see this story's continuation, with me in it. Now, let's get moving to our last big showdown!-" Barasu clapped his hand together in anticipation "-Bring it on, Fate-sama!"

Absolutely amazing... Izuku teared up with this beautiful show of braveness. Not really. Sure, Midoryia was slightly moved but it take a lot more for him to react like that.

'Now for the stressful part, introducing myself, here's to the idea that I make it out alive.' Izuku looked at the watch and pressed one of buttons and he glowed which caught the attention of the other three there.

He finished being a sun and there was silence before Barasu stepped forward with the others on guard "Who... are you?".

Midoryia put his brave face on and said "Hello, I'm Izuku Midoryia."

"Why were you here?" Beatrice asked, not looking to bothered.

"I'm not from around here but I heard what you were talking about so I've decided that I wanted to help out."

"Why should we trust you?" Questioned Ram, who was still on guard.

"You don't have to, I just want to help people."

They relaxed a bit but still kept their eye him which sorta made Midoryia nervous but he kept his cool.

Barasu, who was thinking the entire time, asked him a question "Firstly, my name is Natsuki Subaru. Secondly, what can you do to help?"

Welcome again, I'm planning to make a re-write/remake of this story. This is because I've felt unsatisfied with the earlier content that I've made and I want to change it.

What I'm planning on changing is some minor plot points, some things that I wanted add in the recent time, text format, make longer chapters and add new dialogue and actions.

The way it would change your reading is that the chapters would take more time to release but the quality of the content would increase.

Hope you understand.
