"So did you have fun with Todoroki, Uzumaki-chan? Yaoyorozu explained to us that might be the reason for your lateness!"

Naruto didn't know what possessed her to agree to Yaoyorozu invite to have dinner with her and the other girls in the restaurant. Most of the girls seemed to be happy to see her, greeting her and hugging her before teasing her about how they were finally having time with her. But Ashido seemed to be interested to know about her time with Shouto.

Her pink-skinned classmate leaned her body forward, golden eyes twinkling with joy as she bounced in her seat. Why was she so interested in what happened between Shouto and her? Naruto chewed on her bottom lip and tucked a strand of blond hair behind her ears.

"Is that a yes?" Blue eyes widened and Naruto felt her cheeks growing hotter and hotter as the memory of the date flooded into her mind.

Ashido squealed, clapping her hands together and bouncing in her seat like it was her birthday or something. Several people from behind Ashido swirled their heads around, glaring at them. The girl squeaked and held her hands up, only relaxing her shoulders when the other guests looked away from them.

"I had a lot of fun with Shouto." Naruto chewed on her bottom lip as her blue eyes avoided the knowing eyes of her friend. "We just watched the demonstration and played in the carnival."

Naruto flushed a deeper shade of red as her friend's eyes glinted with amusement. The blonde buried her face under her hands. How could she admit this to them? Now she was not going to hear the end of their teasing about her feelings towards Shouto.

"It must have been nice to spend some time with the cutest guy in our class." Hagakure let out a dreamy sigh as the others girl bobbed their heads in agreement. "I would do anything to spend some time with him and get lose in his eyes."

Naruto chewed on her bottom lip as her cheeks grew a deeper shade of red. Herr blue eyes faded slightly as it fixated on the seal in her hand. There were so many things that distracted her beside Shouto's eyes. The way he smiled. His kisses. Oh god was he improving with his kisses. But it was the sweet way he was always concerned for her that got to her.

"He looks like a prince." Ashido declared, letting out a small giggle. Naruto's eyebrows twitched and a swirl of emotions flooded into her. Why should she be upset? Her boyfriend was so good-looking that someone would be blind not to notice it. A pair of fingers poked her. Blue eyes widened when Yaoyorozu offered her a warm smile.

"You shouldn't be jealous, Uzumaki-san." Yaoyorozu regarded her, lips curled into a smile. "Everyone knows that Todoroki-kun likes you and only you."

Who says I'm jealous? We are in a relationship and I should be confident in our relationship. Naruto took in several deep breaths and looked away from the knowing eyes of her friend. Yaoyorozu giggled, shaking her head and darting her eyes to the various customers in the restaurant.

"Shouto doesn't have good looks, he is also one of the kindest people I know." Naruto straightened her back and stared at the raised eyebrows of her friends. She cleared her throat. "Looks aren't everything when you are considering boys or any potential boyfriend."

"Personality is important too," Uraraka pushed her straw back and forth as her brown eyes focused on the other girls. Several of the girls bobbed their heads, stroking their chins as if deep in thought. "Todoroki-san may have the looks and even the personality but I doubt he will make a good boyfriend."

Naruto frowned and leaned her body forward. "Why would you say that?"

"Well you have to admit that he doesn't show his emotions," Uraraka explained, chewing on her bottom lip. The girl swirled her soda around and scrunched her eyebrows together. "It will be hard for his girlfriend to communicate with him."

He tries hard to show that he cares about people but it isn't his fault that his Dad was an asshole. Naruto clenched her jaws and wrapped her hand around the spoon, clenching it as tight as her hand would allow her. She forced herself to relax her jaws, taking several deep breaths to calm down her raging emotions.

"I think he will make an amazing boyfriend." Naruto stared at Uraraka with her lips pressed into a very thin line. She poked her tongue against her cheeks, taking in another deep breath and exhaling another breath. "He might not show his emotions to the world, but it doesn't mean he can't be a good boyfriend."

He was doing such a wonderful job if you asked her. Getting her a teddy bear because she just looked at it with longingly? That was a sign of someone trying to be a great boyfriend. She relaxed her shoulders. Was it really important for him to show his emotions in public? Because she didn't care about it.

"Todoroki-kun could make a wonderful boyfriend but Endeavour would be a problem." Naruto tensed up at the mention of Endeavour. She forced herself to relax her shoulders as Yaoyorozu took a sip of her drink. "He is an intimidating man. It will be hard for any girlfriend of Shouto to have any confidence around him."

Naruto thinned her lips into a thin line, jaws clenching together and the girl straightened her back. Her friends regarded her, eyebrows raised till their hairline and the blonde forced herself to smile. "Why should we give a shit about what he thinks? If it was me, I wouldn't give a shit about what he thinks of me."

"You have got some guts to say that." Asui hummed and tilting her head to the side. She stroked her chin, eyebrows raised to her hairline and Naruto shrugged. This earned several chuckles from the other girls and Asui shook her head. "Y'know I would be terrified of what Endeavour would think of me."

"Me too!"

The cries of the girl echoed throughout the restaurant and most of the guests turned around to look at them. All of the girls squeaked, letting out a nervous laugh as their faces flushed a bright shade of red. Naruto shook her head, looking down at the fork and spoon.

Would she feel the same way if Shouto never told her about the things Endeavour made him do? No. She shook her head and clenched her hand into a tight ball of fist. Just one look at the huge man was enough to make her not like him. If it wasn't for the way he scowled at her but the way his eyes seemed so cold.

"You know this is the first time Uzumaki-san didn't try to deny her feelings for Todoroki." Naruto blinked and jerked her head away from the spoon and forks. Her eyes locked onto Ashido. The girl giggled and clapped her hands together. "Do you finally admit you are in love with Todoroki?"

Love? Wasn't it too soon for her to say she was in love? Blue eyes widened and Naruto flushed a deeper shade of red. She buried her face under her hands, letting out a small groan before lifting her head up. The blonde focused her eyes on Ashido, forcing herself to shake her head.

"I like Shouto," Naruto closed her eyes as Ashido and Hagakure let out another loud shrill shriek. Several of the guests turned around, narrowing their eyes at the girls and the two teens looked away from them. Naruto poked her fingers togethers, closing her eyes and took another deep breath. "I mean I really like him but I'm not in love with him. I mean it isn't a crush but…"

It was hard to describe how she felt about Shouto but her feelings were stronger than a crush.

It was a feeling that could grow into love.

"What are you doing here, Gaara?"

Shouto knitted his eyebrows together at the sight of Naruto's friend standing outside his room. There was no one else in the hallway except for Gaara. The mismatch boy tilted his head and slipped his hand into his pocket as Gaara regarded him. His girlfriend's friend thinned his lips into a thin line and stared at the book in Shouto's right hand.

"I wish to talk to you about Naruto." Shouto's eyes widened and he frowned at the lack of emotions coming from the teen's eyes. Did Naruto tell him about them? He frowned. It was not like he didn't mind Naruto telling Gaara but when did she have time to tell him? She was having dinner with Yaoyorozu and their classmates.

"Come in," Shouto said softly, gesturing for the boy to come in.

The red-haired teen nodded and strolled through the door with his shoulders hunched. The mismatch boy flickered his eyes through the corridor, only relaxing his shoulders when he saw there was no one in the hallway. He shut the door and turned around to look at Gaara.

There was a tense silence between them, almost like a thick blanket laid on them. No words spoke between them as Gaara's eyes darted everywhere except on Shouto. It fixated on his large bed, before looking at the various paintings decorating the room and the mismatch boy sighed.

"What about Naruto?" Shouto finally asked, frowning slightly.

Gaara took a deep breath and relaxed his arms against the side of his body. His green eyes locked onto Shouto, not revealing any emotions to him. He squirmed slightly as those eyes continued to bored to his soul as if he wanted to know something about him.

"What are your feelings for, Naruto?" Gaara let out a small sigh and smoothed the wrinkles of his shirt. Shouto's eyes widened, his palm sweating as he realized what brought his girlfriend's friend here. The boy tilted his head at him. "Are you in love with her? Or do you feel only friendship with Naruto?"

His throat dried up at the question as a pair of bright blue eyes flashed before him. In love with Naruto? He liked her. Most of the girls he knew never really caught his attention like she did. But was it love? His feelings for her were real, stronger than some silly crush but it wasn't love. Love was just too soon for him to say.

He squashed down the urge to spill those words to him. If Naruto hadn't told Gaara about their relationship then he didn't need to tell him. But there was a need for him to elaborate his feelings towards Naruto.

"I like Naruto with all of my heart," Shouto swallowed down the lump and took a deep breath as teal eyes didn't even blink at those words. "But to say I'm in love with her…"

The words trailed off as the image of a flushed Naruto flashed before his eyes. Only Naruto could make his heart race like it was in a racing track. He took a deep breath, unclenched his hands and stared at the teen. There was no way for him to explain his feelings to him without sounding like a sap.

"Then do you just like her as a friend?" Gaara pressed his lips into a frown and looked at him with disappointment shining through those eyes.

Shouto shook his head. Friendship was one of the feeling he felt for Naruto now but only she could make his heart race like there was no tomorrow. The only girl that could make him want to show his feelings towards her. He took another deep breath, lips pressed into a tiny smile as his eyes darted to the window.

"I like Naruto like how a guy likes a girl," he explained. "But it is way too soon for me to be in love with her, since I have only known her for four months now. Love doesn't happen over the span of months…I think."

He rubbed the back of his neck as heat rushed up to his face. Why must they talk about feelings? He didn't feel comfortable vocalizing his emotions to anyone. But Gaara had a right to be concerned. Shouto nodded his head. If his sister liked someone then he would want to see the feelings that the guy had for his sister.

Gaara stared at him but said nothing. What was going through his head? Those teal eyes showed nothing and revealed nothing about what he was thinking about. Shouto squirmed slightly in his bed. There must be a way for him to have some idea of what was going through the boy's mind.

"Naruto has feelings for you," Gaara cleared his throat and looked down at him with blank teal eyes. "And I just wanted to confirm if you share the same feelings like Yaoyorozu claimed you do," The boy rubbed the back of his neck and looked away from him. "I don't want to see Naruto go through heartbreak."

Shouto stared at Gaara and pressed his lips into a thin line. Did he think he want that for Naruto? The last person he ever wanted to hurt was Naruto, not when all he wanted to see those blue eyes sparkled with happiness. He took a deep breath and thinned his lips. But he couldn't promise not to hurt Naruto because things happened.

The best he could do was be a supportive boyfriend.

"Hurting Naruto is the last thing I want to do to her," Gaara's lips twitched as Shouto took several deep breaths to calm down his racing heart. Everything depended on him of making things clear to the boy about his desire with Naruto . "If I ever do hurt her then it will be unintentional."

Gaara regarded him. "Do you wish to pursue a relationship with her?"

"I do." Shouto straightened his back and stared at the older boy. He steadied his trembling arms at the level of killer intent being directed at him. He wanted to be with her even though Naruto could do a lot better than him. But he would make sure Naruto didn't regret being with him. He would improve himself.

If not for her then for himself.

"A relationship with her might be difficult," Gaara clasped his hands against his hands and regarded him, teal eyes flashing with pity. "If she was a civilian or just a normal kunoichi then your relationship would face normal trials. But Naruto is a jinchuuriki and like all jinchuuriki, she is a weapon of war."

Shouto clenched his jaws together as the rage inside of him brewed at those words. Why would he say that? His girlfriend was a human being. Gaara was human too. They deserved to be considered to be humans, not some kind of weapon of mass destructions. He clenched his hands into a fist. None of them deserved this.

"Neither of you are weapons." He spat the words out. "The both of you are humans."

Gaara blinked and sighed. "Naruto told you about me, didn't she?"

He nodded and the red-haired teen sighed, running his hand through his hair. Teal eyes regarded him without any emotions before flickering to the window. No words spoke between them and the only sound that could be heard between them was the waves crashing onto the shore.

"You may see us as human but it doesn't mean the rest of the Elemental Countries will give us the same courtesy." Gaara rubbed the back of his neck and let out a tiny sigh. "Naruto will one day be forced to come back to Konoha. It doesn't matter to the government if Naruto has a life here or not, as long as she carries the beast…she is tied to that place."

Shouto clenched his hands into a fist. "Shouldn't it be her choice? What if she wants a life here?"

"Her choice was taken away from her, the moment the Fourth Hokage sealed the Kyuubi inside of her." Gaara sighed and regarded him with eyes filled with pity. "If you truly like her then will you be able to handle the long distance of your relationship? Or do you think your relationship will crumble? If it is the former then I give you my blessing but if it is the latter…then hide your feelings."

With those words, Gaara strolled out of the room and left Shouto to ponder over his words.

"Naruto, what are you doing here?"

Naruto frowned as Shouto knitted his eyebrows together. Her dinner with her friends were over and done with, meaning it would be the perfect time for her to sneak in to say good-night to Shouto and leave. She nibbled her bottom lip as her blue eyes took in her boyfriend's knitted eyebrows.

Her arms trembled and the blonde reached her hand out to hold her boyfriend's hands. The lack of smile on his face meant something must have happened. Her frown deepened. Shouto was almost always pleased to see her, even when he was furious with his father.

"I wanted to say good night before I head to my room," Naruto admitted. She rubbed the back of her neck, trying to ease the growing knots in the back of her neck as her boyfriend blinked. "But something tells me that you either want to have a rant or want to have someone listen to you as you talk about your problems."

"Problems?" He raised an eyebrow. "I don't have any problems."

Naruto snorted. "Maybe that works for your siblings but I know something is troubling you."

Shouto sighed and gestured for her to come in. It was a rather large room, probably larger than the room that the hotel gave her, with a very huge bed. Naruto chewed on her bottom lip and took a seat on the bed. A tiny giggle escaped from her lips as her whole body bounced with the bed.

Right, she needed to be serious.

The mismatch boy gulped and took a seat right beside her. His leg brushed against hers as he turned around to look at her. Those eyes wavered, looking so troubled that the blonde had to wonder what was going through his mind. She chewed on her bottom lip and grabbed Shouto's hand, rubbing circles around it.

"Naruto, are you going to go back to Konoha?"

The question hung in the air as mismatch eyes locked onto her blue eyes. The rubs stopped and the smile on Naruto's face faded at the question. Konoha. She forgot about the situation with Konoha. Naruto inhaled. Her ribs cracked under the pressure as the blonde allowed herself to consider what to tell him.

"I have no choice but to go back there." Naruto admitted. She leaned her body forward and curled her lips into a frown while her boyfriend pressed his lips into a frown. She resumed rubbing the circles around his hand, blue eyes focused on the mismatch eyes of the Fire and Ice Quirk User. "If I don't go back by the end of graduation, then they will hunt me down."

There was no more words spoken between them for the next three minutes.

"Do you think our relationship can survive if you go back there?" Shouto asked, closing his eyes and pressing his head against her hair. He rubbed circles around her back, releasing all the tension in her back and Naruto bit back a little moan. God, did his hands feel magical to her.

She pulled back and stared at Shouto. "Should we think about it now? Can't we worry for when that day comes?"

Her heart ached at the thought of leaving her friends and Shouto and returning back to the village that hurt her. She chewed on her bottom lip as her boyfriend opened his mouth, no doubt to protest. As a kunoichi, your best weapons are your body and your brains. It might be a little bit wrong of her to do this.

But she doesn't want them to focus on that aspect of her life until that day was a nearby future and not a distant future.

Naruto took a deep breath and brought her hand forward, pulling her boyfriend's head down. Their lips were only a few centimeters apart but if she tilted her head upwards then they would kiss. That was what she did. But unlike the gentler kisses, this was a kiss filled with explosions.

It was a short-lived kiss but damn did it satisfied her.

She pulled back as her cheeks flushed a bright shade of red. "So do you agree with me that we don't need to think about it right now?"

Her boyfriend blinked and let out a small chuckle before schooling his expression into a blank one. The younger boy closed his eyes, took in several deep breaths and opened his eyes. "You know Naruto, if you are trying to distract me then that didn't work."

Naruto squeaked and laughed as Shouto laid her down on the bed. His mismatch eyes locked onto her bright blue eyes, darkening slightly. Those eyes moved from her hair to her eyes before flickering downwards to the rest of her body. She shivered, not because the room was freezing but because of the intensity in his eyes.

"I think I know of a better way to distract you." Naruto declared, looking up at the boy towering over her.

The boy only had to blame himself for putting her in this position.

Shouto blinked as Naruto pulled him down, their lips making contact again. Her hands began to roam his back, taking in the strong feel of his muscles before reaching upwards to his soft hair. Her nails scratched his scalp as well as detangled the tangles in his hair and a small groan escaped from his lips.

It was not long before she pulled back, tugging on his lower lip as she did so.

The younger boy groaned and returned her kiss. His hand shifted from her waist and moved down to her thigh. I know this is too soon but it feels really good. She groaned and pulled him closer, wrapping her waist around him as she tried to be as close to him as possible.

Something hard brushed against her and Naruto groaned, wiggling even more to chase the feeling inside of her.

After a couple of seconds, Naruto pulled back slightly to catch her breath. She panted, quick breaths coming out of her mouth as Shouto pressed his forehead against her own. Those mismatch looked down at her like he might just devour her. The thought should scare her but all Naruto could do was wiggled even more.

"Naruto, I think you need to leave right now before we end up doing something that we might just regret."

There was some truth behind those words so it seemed like tonight she was going to need to lock the door and pray to God that Jiraiya didn't have the urge to check up on her.
