Four years have passed since the Green Flu and people are returning to their lives, but Ellis hasn't been the same since the day they were rescued. Now he finds himself engaged to a girl who wants to help him feel whole again. However, in order to do that she's gotta find that one missing piece in his life and when she finds it there's no easy way of extinguishing a newly lit fuse.

Hey everyone -

I'm really sorry that there hasn't been a steady update on what's happening with this story. I've been in the midst of trying to level myself out after a very exhausting year only for it to still be very impactful in the turn of 2019. My chronic migraines haven't gotten any better despite looking into treatment and in fact, have only been worse. On top of that, my job has been extreme on what my workload is and has been consuming most of my time.

More days than not, when I finish work, I end up laying down and watching something just to not strain myself further with being at a computer as I work daily on one for my job. I often think about this story, I do. I love it dearly and do want to finish it. I have chapter 15 mostly written but haven't been happy with the way it's going and I really don't want to post something I'm not happy with. In turn, my writer's block has been exceptionally high and I've been doing my best to work on that too. So I'm sorry for the disappointment in nothing being written here (even an update). I can assure you that I haven't forgotten and that the chapter is often open on my computer staring back at me. I DO have an end planned for this- we just need to get to it.

So thank you for your patience and your understanding. I'm going to do my best to finish this for those who are still around and possibly for those who may stumble onto it.
