Kenya was not at the pokemon center. I waited in the room, reading information on Tirtuoga the fossil pokemon. Kenya never came back. The next morning I left Nacrene, heading into Pinwheel forest. The trail was awfully simple, I wondered how Kenya could have possibly gotten lost. I made my way to a bridge, according to my map it led to Castelia city. I spent a few hours finding pokemon. I caught several bug type pokemon but decided not to use them. Tepig ended up evolving into Pignite. I sat down on a log, looking Pignite over. I considered trying to speak to it. Like I could with Munna, Druddigon and... Kyurem! I jerked up, suddenly remembering the sphere that spoke to me in the museum. Pignite gave me a concerned look before looking off into the distance. I noticed a young girl, walking with a Gigalith. Pignite watched her as they passed by.
"Let's get a move on." Pignite and I left the forest, heading out onto Skyarrow bridge. The bridge offered a beautiful view of the water. It took half an hour to reach Castelia. Castelia was crowded. I considered returning Tepig. Before I had a chance, I was yanked to the side. I struggled against the grip, falling to the ground. People started yelling. I blacked out.
"Get up you brat!" I rolled onto my back, sunlight burning my eyes. A man in a trench coat was standing over me. I looked around, we were on the Skyarrow bridge. I used the railing to get up onto my feet. The man smiled.
"Who are you?"
"I'm a trainer."
"Where's my Pignite? Did you just kidnap me?"
"I'm going to battle you." I wiped my eyes.
"Are you crazy?" The man grabbed my shirt and shoved me against the railing.
"I could just throw you off the bridge!"
"Hey hey hey! Calm down!" He pushed me away and held up a pokeball.
"Battle me." I was dizzy. I felt the side of my head, feeling a sensitive bump. "Well? Send out a pokemon!" I absentmindedly sent out Pidove. The man sent out a Scolipede. "My name is Jonas. Pleased to make your acquaintance.
"Gust!" Pidove flew up, whipping up a whirlwind around Scolipede. Scolipede stumbled and grunted. "Steel wing!" Jonas watched Pidove fly back and forth attacking Scolipede with its wings. "Keep attacking!" I met Jonas' eyes, he smiled. "What's wrong with you? I thought you wanted to fight!" Scolipede silently fell over, knocked out. Pidove started glowing, evolving into Tranquill. Jonas returned Scolipede.
"I understand what kind of trainer you are." Jonas sent out a Hydreigon. "Now, I'm going to defeat you."
