Jack was sitting in the hotel room, and Josie was still out with Nate. Rose went and sat on his lap. "Hi," she said, and gave him a kiss. "We're going to have dinner with Daniella and Will next week."

Jack looked at her, stunned. "Really? You called her?"

"Yeah, I did. I'm not just going to let our friendship fade away."

Jack smiled. "Alright then."

Rose was going to say something, and then the door opened. Josie had returned. "I had no idea he was coming today!" Josie said.

"You were amazing, by the way. I can't believe how amazing you are," said Rose. "How was your date?"

"I had an amazing time, and we made an arrangement," said Josie.

"Well, what is it?" Jack asked.

"He convinced his parents to postpone the trip until after he graduates from college, which is two years form now," said Josie.

"And did you figure out why his parents don't like you?" asked Rose.

"Yeah," Josie sighed. "I'm too smart."

"I'm sorry?" Jack asked.

"They want a trophy wife for Nate. Someone who just looks nice, and doesn't really do anything. They know I want a career, that I want to pursue dance. And they don't like that."

"I'm sorry Josie. But at least he wants better for himself, and that's you," said Rose.

"Yeah, I guess so."

The weekend ended, and Jack, Rose, and Josie returned home. Josie went back to her apartment, and Jack and Roe carried on back to the house. When they arrived at home, Olivia came out to greet them.

"Mommy! Daddy! You're home!" Olivia exclaimed, hugging Rose and then Jack, who picked her up. "I have so much to catch you up on. Aunt Emma played thirteen games of go-fish with me, and Uncle Ben helped us bake some brownies, and we watched TV and did art and played games and we had so much fun! But I missed you guys so much."

"We missed you too, baby girl," said Rose, kissing her daughter on the cheek and giving her a little tickle.

They entered the house to find Myles watching TV, Maddie drawing, and Emma passed out on the couch. "I think the kids broke your sister," said Jack jokingly.

Rose smiled and woke Emma. They talked and then she went home. Then, Rose called Daniella back. "Hi, it's Rose."

"Hi," Daniella said.

"So when do you want to have dinner? Sometime soon, I hope."

"Yeah, well, I'm pretty busy lately. So I'm not sure if I am free for dinner anytime soon."

Rose sighed. "Listen, I'm not the same person I was before. Trust me. I really want to apologize for whatever it was that I did to make you hate me so much. I really am."

Rose could hear that Daniella was getting tearful. "I'm sorry, Rose, I have to go." She hung up.

The next day, Rose drove over to Daniella and Will's house. She knocked on the door, and Daniella answered. She, too, had aged, but somehow she aged much less than anyone else.

"Seriously, you're here now?" Daniella asked, annoyed.

"Yes, I am. Now tell me what I did wrong! Because I'm not leaving until you do."

"Wow, you really don't remember, do you?"

Rose looked at Daniella, confused. "Remember what?"

A/N: What happened with Daniella? Stay tuned to find out! Sorry, I know it's a short chapter. But more is coming soon I promise!
