Lauren and Stephanie were in Stephanie's office at the arena.
"Do you have plans this weekend?" Stephanie asked.
"I'm going home with Randy."
"I'm sure you will have fun."
"Yeah." She said sounding like something was on her mind.
"What?"
"Nothing." "Randy's the first boyfriend I've had since my senior year in college."
"Did he cheat on you?"
"No." "That would've been easier."
The next afternoon Lauren and Randy had just arrived at his house. He'd just finished giving her a tour.
"This is a nice place honey." She said.
"Thanks."
"It lacks a women's touch but that's to be expected."
"Well I haven't been a woman in years." He said jokingly.
She laughed. "Has a woman ever lived here?"
"Once." "Only for a few months." "It didn't work out."
"What was her name?"
"Samantha." "What was your last boyfriend's name?"
"Michael."
Randy had just gotten back from the door.
"Babe look what I got you." He said handing her a bag of her favorite cookies.
"Thank you." She said smiling. She kissed him.
"You're welcome."
The next afternoon they were getting ready to go out on the Harley. Randy was already on it. Lauren got on.
"Have you ever been on one of these?" He asked.
"No."
"Hold on tight." She put her hands around his waist and they were off.
They rode around all day and stopped off for dinner.
When it was night time he took her to a beautiful lake. They were sitting on the bike facing each other.
"It's so pretty." She said.
"Nothing compared to you." She smiled. They kissed.
Later that night they were laying in bed.
"Randy." She said
"What?"
"How many women have you been with?"
"How many do you think?"
"Eighty?" He laughed "Bigger?"
"Smaller, way smaller."
"Smaller?" She said surprised.
"Yes."
"So seventy?"
"No." "Twelve."
"That's all?"
"That's all."
"Wow."
"What about you?"
"Counting you, four."
"It's weird how life works isn't it?" "Did you ever think you'd be dating me?"
"No." "Did you?"
"No but I'm so glad I am." "I got to see what a great person you are." "This has been great."
"Yes it has." They kissed.
