Omnipresent Narrator:
While Nick and Melody are getting used to their new bodies, Remited, Misty, Bill, and Julie are discussing how to change them back.
"Well, Bill, we have one Moon Stone."
Remited pulls it out of his Bag, and hands it to him.
"Great! Only four more to go!"
"I think I know where to find Meteorites. I'll start heading to that location right away!"
Misty leaves the Sea Cottage. Julie speaks up.
"I can use my connections to find a Comet Shard."
"Great, Julie!"
She leaves to go back to the Cerulean Center. Bill turns to Remited.
"I will stay here to make sure no one tampers with my prototype."
Melody walks up to Remited with Nick on her shoulder. Nick speaks.
"Well, we need four more Moon Stones right? Why not head back to Mt. Moon and ask the Clefairy?"
Remited nods, and together they all set off.
Remited's POV
I take Melody's now human hand, and we walk through Route 25 back to Cerulean City. As we are on our way, a Bug Catcher walks up to us.
"Hey! Can you help me find my Scyther? He went missing, and is too far away for my Ball to recall him!"
Melody and I look at each other, and we subconsciously agree that I will do all the talking, concerning the circumstances. I turn to the Bug Catcher.
"Sure thing, Bug Catcher..."
"Jerome. I'm Jerome."
"...Bug Catcher Jerome! Lead on to where you last saw your Scyther!"
He nods, and turns towards Route 24. We run after him as he takes off at full speed.
"Wait up!"
He slows down, and we catch up to him. Then, Jerome turns towards a small outcropping of rocks.
"This is where I last saw my Scyther."
I nod, and Nick floats off Melody's shoulder. The four of us look around the area, then, Nick stumbles into the rock outcrop.
"Nick!"
I rush towards the cropping, and Melody runs after him. Then, a Spinarak drops down in front of us. We stop running and I quickly send out Faith, as I have no time to deal with this. I order her to use Stomp, and Spinarak Faints. Then we rush to the base of the outcrop, and realize it is a large cave. I scramble to get inside it, but Jerome grabs my hand.
"What if we can't get back out?"
"I'm not leaving 'Meloetta' behind! Plus, this might be where your Scyther is!"
Jerome concedes, and Melody comes with us after I recall Faith. We enter this cave, and then hear Nick shouting for help. I get an idea, and send out Acrobat.
"Hey Acrobat! Can you tell any Zubat in here to not attack us? We won't attack them. We are just looking for a Scyther that got lost."
The Golbat nods, then flies off screeching its cry. Melody then sends out Charmy for the light of her tail's fire. Charmy looks at Melody, and then nods slowly. We didn't have time to tell her what happened, but she knows something's up. We proceed through the cave, and then we hear Nick say something.
"Scyther is here! Wait...what is tha-oh my gosh! Help me!"
Jerome and Melody grab my hands and we boost down the cave. We go through many tunnels in said cave. Then, as we reach a clearing, Acrobat flies back to me. I send him back into his Ball, and we walk through the clearing. But, as we are walking through, Melody spots two Moon Stones sticking out of the rocky walls. She points them out, and I send out Acrobat, who uses Wing Attack to cut them out. I pick them up, and put them in my pocket. After recalling, we head through the end of the clearing. It leads to another tunnel. We head through it, and then come to a second clearing. We all gasp as we see both Nick and Scyther trapped in a giant web. I pretend Nick is Melody in order to not have to explain what happened to Jerome.
"'Melody!'"
"Scyther!"
Jerome runs up to get his Pokémon before I can stop him, and then a rope of string goes down and grabs his hands.
"Ahh! Help me!"
I take out a Poké Ball and run forward. I throw it, and out pops Pixy, who hasn't gotten action in a while.
"PIXY! USE FIRE FANG!"
As she runs towards the giant web, suddenly an Ariados drops down in front of her. It then screeches, and a swarm of Spinarak appear. Melody runs up, and in order to act like Nick, sends out Charmy. She bursts out, and turns to Melody. She nods, and Charmy turns back to face the Ariados and Spinarak. We hear Scyther cry out weakly, and see purple bubbles floating off him. I realize that Scyther could die if we don't hurry, and look at Melody. She is looking at me, and we nod. Then I direct Pixy to use Flame Burst at the same time as Charmy. This Faints all the Spinarak, and sets the giant web alight. The Ariados gets mad, and uses X-Scissor to slam Charmy against the wall. She gets up shakily and Melody runs over and takes her hand. She then proceeds to walk back, and rifle through Nick's Bag for any healing items. While she is doing that, I direct Pixy once more to use Fire Fang. She rushes the wild Ariados, and sets her teeth on fire before chomping down on its head. Ariados then swings it's head around with such violence that Pixy gets flung into a stalagmite and Faints from almost getting impaled. I recall her and then jump back in astonishment. Nick apparently has figured out how to use Melody's power, as his new body is shining brightly. The light explodes the web, freeing himself, Scyther, and Jerome. Jerome picks up his wounded Bug-type, and runs to my side. Nick jumps in front of us, and then his eyes glow blue. Ariados gets lifted off the ground, and flung against the cave wall with enough force to KO it. We hurry out of the cave before the Ariados can recover. When we get out, I dig through my bag and grab out a Pecha Berry and feed it to Scyther. The bubbles disappear, and then I send out Faith to use Heal Pulse to restore Scyther's health. Jerome looks very grateful, and he hugs his Pokémon. Scyther reciprocates, careful to not accidentally stab his Trainer with his scythes. Then, he hands me and Melody each 500 PokéScrill. He runs off, and Melody speaks as we watch his retreating figure.
"I hope we meet again. He genuinely seems like he cares about Pokémon, not as battlers, but as life-long companions."
"Maybe we will, Melody. Maybe we will."
Misty's Perspective
I have ran towards Route 24. I know there is a secret place in the ground that leads to a secret spot in Viridian Forest. I find the tunnel between rocks that very few know about. I squeeze my way through it, and then, when I speedily make it to Viridian Forest, I appear in a Hidden Grotto. I see the Meteorites on the ground there. But, as I go to pick them up, I get attacked by a Forretress. I send out my Starmie and have it use Ice Beam. That Faints the Forretress in one hit. Then, I pick up the Meteorites. I pocket them, and head back.
Julie's POV
I head towards Cerulean's Center, and there I meet with a familiar Legendary Trainer.
"Hello, Blue."
"Hello, Julie."
"Can you get me a Comet Shard?"
"Well, I have one on me, but they are so rare that I'm not sure if I want to part with it. Kinda like a trophy, y'know?"
I see no other option except to explain to Blue what happened at the Sea Cottage. He gasps, then laughs as he is shaking his head sadly.
"Oh, Bill. What are we gonna do with you?"
He stands up.
"Alright then, here. Take the Shard. Come see me back at Viridian when you get a chance."
He hands it to me, and I take it.
"Smell ya later!"
Bill's Perspective
I walk back to my prototype, and begin tinkering with it. I want to make sure that Nick and Melody will be able to switch back to their normal bodies. As I am tinkering, I think I hear a footstep in my Cottage. I stop and listen, but don't hear it again.
(It must just be my imagination).
I resume messing with my machine. Then, I KNOW I heard a pair of footsteps. I stop, and turn around.
"Who's there?!"
Then, a brown catlike shape rushes at me and then I just see black.
Sento's Perspective
I am back in Viridian City. As I pass the Gym, I get an uneasy feeling that sends shivers up my spine. I shake it off, and proceed directly for the Indigo League Gate. I startle some Youngsters, then slow down as they appear to be looking for their Pokémon. I use my newly enhanced Aura power to find their Pokémon, and lead the Youngsters to them. They thank me, then I run off to the base of Mt. Silver.
