Chapter 14: Shibuya part 1

After a few days, the trip was here, the class had taken a train there and we're right now sitting waiting for when they make it to their destination, the investigation group was sitting or standing together talking.

"This is gonna be so cool! I'm so ready to meet some chicks and some good food!"

"Try not to get too excited, we still gotta go to the school there like last time," Naoto said.

"What!? Your kidding!" Kanji said.

"No, the teachers thought it went so well last time that they wanted to do it again," Rise said.

"It sucked! Stupid teachers and their learning and whatever!" Yosuke said.

"Does it matter? we gotta go to school on a trip, big deal, its only for a day," Ed said.

"Tch! Easy for you to say, your probably gonna blow through these stupid classes like its nothing yah nerd," Yosuke said.

"Just because I'm smart doesn't mean I wanna go to these dumb classes! As soon as the days are done, I'm heading to the nearest Library."

"It's okay if you wanna go to the Library, but don't spend all your time there, try to enjoy the school trip," Yu said.

"I'll consider it," Ed said.

Soon someone over the speaker announced they made it to their destination, the group grabbed their things and left the train, they left the station to see they were in Shibuya crossing, a bus came and they put their stuff into it to be taken to the hotel, they were then taken to Shoujin Acadamey, the principal gave a speech and the students looked bored.

"Why do the principals gotta give speeches like this? its pointless," Kanji said.

"It's probably customary, but that doesn't mean it's fun to sit through," Yukiko sighed.

"Man, does this guy ever shut up? Just end it," Ed said.

"And with that said, please enjoy your day here and learn as much as you can good luck," the principal said.

They went into the school and looked around.

"Eh, this place isn't as cool-looking as the school we went to last time, honestly it's kinda boring looking," Yosuke said.

"So where's the first class?" Yu asked.

"Hmm, it seems we have a class in geometry, history, gym, Japanese language, and so on," Naoto said looking at a little pamphlet they were given.

"Let's go then, I wanna get a good look around before the first class," Ed said.

They split up to look around and see what the school is like, after going through several annoying classes, everyone got in their gym clothes and went to the gym where the class would start soon.

"Why the heck are they making us go to school on a trip again?" Ed asked.

"Because school tries to do everything it can to torture us," Chie groaned.

"I can second that," Yosuke said.

"Schools here are weird," Ed said.

"So did you hear? the substitute teacher is coming in today," a random student nearby said.

"Awe man, seriously? shes so harsh!" another student said.

"Substitute huh?" Yu said.

"Looks like we came on an interesting day," Yukiko said.

"They said she would be harsh though, eh, we can handle it!" Yosuke said.

"We'll just have to see," Yu said.

Soon the teacher came in and everyone stiffened standing up and running to her.

"Well, despite my orders to stay active while I wasn't here, it looks like you've all been slacking a little! No matter, today I'll just have to work you all till you pass out! now start with 50 push-ups!" the substitute said.

Everyone rushed to do what she said and soon all the students were in a line doing push-ups by the wall, Ed chuckles seeing Yosuke having a hard time.

"Still think you can handle it?" Ed asked giving a smug grin.

"Shut up!" Yosuke grunted out.

Suddenly a foot stomped down in front of Ed's face and realized it was the gym teacher.

"Did I say you could talk?" she said.

"Look, I was just-"

Ed stopped himself when he looked up and felt his heart stop for a second and he went pale seeing who it was. It was the earth version of his old teacher, Izumi Curtis, who was giving him a harsh glare looking down at him, she was wearing the school's zip-up sweatshirt and pants.

"You were just what?" Izumi asked.

"I... uh..." Ed could only say as he felt an urge to run out of the gym now,

"Stand up now!"

Ed immediately stood up sweating slightly trying to keep composure, she leaned down slightly looking into his eyes, she narrowed hers and looked up and down his body.

"What's your name?" Izumi asked.

"Edward Elric," Ed answered.

"Alright then Edward Elric, why are you talking during my class?"

"I wasn't trying to, I was just messing with him cause he said he could handle a tough substitute."

"Is that so? well, we'll see about that, however-" Izumi suddenly gets in Ed's face with fiery eyes," NO TALKING IN MY CLASS!"

"Y-yes ma'am!" Ed said before he got down and began doing push-ups.

After class, they walked down the halls.

"Man, my arms are killing me!" Yosuke said.

"Yeah, that teacher was a little too much for me," Yukiko said.

"I've never seen someone so... ruthless" Chie said.

"Wow, that teacher sounds like she was rough," Rise said.

"She was, she even scared Ed," Yu said.

"You serious? That's hilarious!" Kanji said.

"Shut up Kanji! And she didn't scare me, I was just, uh, freaked because she looks like someone from my world," Ed said.

"Another one?" Naoto said surprised.

"Please tell me this isn't another Tucker situation!" Rise said.

"Don't worry, it isn't like that, actually she was the one who taught me Alchemy," Ed said.

"No way! Seriously?" Yosuke said shocked.

"Wow! That was her? she was so mean! is that how she was like in your world?" Yukiko asked.

"Y-yeah..." Ed said downcasted.

"You're totally scared of her dude!" Yosuke said laughing.

"Shut up!"

"So what are you gonna do? You gonna talk to her?" Yu asked.

"Yeah, I'll try to at least, we're at this place only one day so this might be my only chance," Ed said.

"Goodluck, hopefully, she'll be easy on you this time," Yu said.

"When are you gonna talk to her?" Chie asked.

"Probably when lunch starts, that gives me an hour at least to talk to her," Ed said.

The day went fast as nothing noteworthy happened. When Ed was ready, he bought himself a sandwich and a soda and went to the gym, and finds Izumi packing up her stuff.

"You again?" Izumi said.

"Yeah, I wanna talk," Ed said.

"Sorry, but I can't, it's my lunch break," Izumi said.

"But I need to talk to you now, I'm only here for a day," Ed said.

"Sorry kid, but I can't," Izumi said, beginning to walk out.

"But what if I challenge you to a sparring match?" Ed said.

Izumi stops and turns to him.

"Sparring match?" she said.

"Yeah, if I win you stay here and talk to me, but if I lose you can leave," Ed said.

Izumi got a thoughtful look before looking up.

"Fine then, but on one condition."

"What is it?"

"I get your lunch if I win."

"What!? No way!"

"But you owe me now, I had lunch plans already, but thanks to you I won't be able to make them before my next class starts, so its either a yes or I walk away."

"mmm, fine!" Ed grumbled annoyed.

Ed put his stuff on a bench and took his jacket off and looked up to see Izumi had taken off her sweatshirt and they both stood on opposite sides of each other. Ed starts it and runs at Izumi, she tried to grab his arm he ducked under it and hit her back with his palm sending her to forward a few steps, making her grunt lightly. Ed ran over for another attack and when he was close enough, he went low. Only for Izumi to move aside slightly and immediately hooked her arm around his left arm and rolled over across his back making Ed wince with how his arm was pulled back! And with her arm still hooked around his! She flipped him over her back! But Ed landed on his right hand and immediately pushed himself away from her landing in a crouching position. He stood up and she was in his face already, slamming her hand into his face, She immediately pushes him down towards the ground hard! But before he was fully on the ground, Ed kept himself up with his hands and rolled back and immediately tried to leg sweep her but she jumped over it! Ed ducked under a kick and tried to grab her arm, only for her to grab his and judo throw him over her shoulder! Slamming his back onto the hardwood gym floor hard!

Ed groaned in pain laying there feeling defeat as he looked up at the ceiling.

"You gotta be kidding me..." Ed groaned out.

Izumi had her arms crossed as she stood over him now.

"You shouldn't have challenged me so recklessly," Izumi said.

Ed sighed as she bent down slightly and held her hand out to him, helping him up.

"However, since you put up such a good fight against me, I'll let you talk to me as you intended to before," she said, making Ed sigh in relief and smile slightly, "but I still get to have your lunch."

"Fair enough," Ed sighed with a frown now.

They sit down against the wall and talk.

"So... You're a substitute teacher huh?" Ed said.

"Yes I am, why?" Izumi asked.

"I don't know, just with how good of a fighter you are, I would've expected you to be working as a fighting teacher in Your own place instead of at a school."

"Yes, but while I am very strong, I am also a housewife. So I prefer being in an environment with children that want to learn how to get fit."

"That's honestly really cool, how long have you worked here anyway?"

"About 2 months now, I substitute the gym teacher frequently."

"I see, you do anything else here?"

"I'm a self-defense teacher, actually."

"Huh, figures."

Do you need anything else?"

Ed looks down for a second, thinking before he looked up at her again.

"Just... To say thanks, for everything," he said.

What's this about?" Izumi asked slightly confused now.

"You just really remind me of someone, they helped me a lot and I never really got a chance to say that to them, so I just thought I'd at least say it to you since I probably won't see them again."

"Oh, well, that's really sweet. I think they would be flattered hearing that."

"Thanks."

The bell went off and they got up.

"I should get going, maybe I'll see you around while we're still here," Ed said, holding his hand out to her smirking.

"Hm, I'll see you soon," Izumi said as she took his hand and firmly shook it," also you need to give me your side of the deal," Izumi said holding her hand out

Ed sighs giving her his food.

"Thank you, have a good day," Izumi said as she turned around beginning to leave.

See you around... Teacher," Ed said smirking before turning around.

They both walked away and continued their day, several hours later school ended and everyone hung out outside the school talking about what to do now.

"Let's check out the shopping district," Yosuke said.

"No way! Let's go to the noodle shops," Kanji said.

"I want to go train!" Chie said.

"That's literally all you wanna do!" Kanji said.

"Maybe we could draw straws to see who picks what we do first?" Yu said.

"Good idea!" Yukiko said.

Yosuke takes out toothpicks he had and breaks the tip off one and gave them to Yu. He shuffled them slightly and held them out, everyone took one and checked if they had the broken one, and Ed won.

"So we're gonna go where I want?" Ed asked.

"Yeah, we are," Chie said.

"Great, I already know, come on."

They follow Ed and after a short train ride, they are in front of a library, it was small and looked old as it sits in between several other little stores

Yosuke: the Library? Man all you wanna do is look at books

"It's not that, I just thought this might be the best place for all of us since there might be something here we can all enjoy in some way," Ed said.

"What do you mean by that?" Yukiko asked.

"Well there's Kung foo books here, Manga advanced literature, I'm just saying that maybe we could all enjoy being here," Ed said.

"Well, you're not entirely wrong," Naoto said.

"Let's just go in," Yu said.

They step in and see its quiet as they browse, as they look around, they see a few of their school's students had already beat them here, Chie goes to look for the section on action manga books about fighting and Rise sat at a table tapping her fingers on it watching the others look around.

"What's wrong Rise-chan? Aren't you going to check out some books?" Yukiko asked

"No thanks, I'm not really into books," Rise said.

"Not even romance books?" Yu asked slightly surprised.

Rise; Not really, no. I don't really like to read a lot

"I bet you'd love it if Yu read to you though," Yosuke said with a cheeky smirk.

Rise just smiles blushing slightly and says "maybe."

Ed meanwhile, goes straight for history and begins looking at books on world events that are unexplained, as soon as he sits down he begins reading it. However, soon he finds something interesting that caught his eye.

"huh?" Ed said looking over what he saw.

He turns to Naoto who was next to him.

"Hey Naoto, can you look at this?" Ed asked.

"What is it Ed-senpai?" Naoto asked.

Ed turns the book around and shows her a picture.

"It says here that a fire broke out in this old factory that almost killed a lot of people, yet there seems to be a lot of ash around here," Ed said.

He shows her picture from 1966 of an empty room burnt to a crisp from an unexplained fire, but there was an especially dark circle where black ash stained it.

"Doesn't that look a little weird?"

"Hm, that is pretty strange."

"It gets weirder when you skip a few years."

He flips through the pages and finds a page in 1968, this was a different room that was still burnt as well, but it had the same circle

"I know it might be a coincidence but... I don't know." Ed said thinking.

"It does seem pretty weird, but it can most likely just be a coincidence," Naoto said.

"Hmm, maybe, but something doesn't feel right, follow me," he said as he stood up.

Ed and Naoto go to a computer in the back and look up both years where the circles happened. Apparently, there was a whole website of buildings after mysterious fires like this, they saw the circles from the book, but going a few years further, they appeared again.

"Alright, now I know this isn't a coincidence," Ed said narrowing his eyes slightly.

"Holy...but how? I don't understand, is it some kind of marking of a criminal?" Naoto said as her eyes widened in shock

"Maybe... Hmm."

Going back, the circles started in the late 1800s and ended the year Yu first arrived.

"If its some kind of criminal marking, its probably the most screwed up family business I've ever seen, or... Maybe there's more to it, have you seen anything like this before?" Ed asked.

"No, I haven't, the closest things I had to deal with as a detective were maybe serial killers leaving pendants around the crime scenes of their victims as a sign that they were there. But this is pretty...unusual," Naoto said.

"Hmm... I think I'm gonna buy this book, I have a feeling I'm gonna need to look into this more, you think you could help me when you can?"

"Of course I can," Naoto said nodding.

Ed nods and takes the book.

"Thanks, let's go meet with the others."

They walk back to see the others either talking or reading, only Kanji and Yosuke were arm wrestling.

"We miss anything?" Ed asked.

"Nah, what were you guys doing?" Yu asked.

"Actually, we found something pretty strange, care to show them Ed-senpai?" Naoto asked turning to him.

Ed quickly explains what they found and shows them the pictures in the book.

"That is weird," Yu said looking down thinking.

"What do you think this means?" Naoto asked.

"It probably could be some work of an organization, that's been burning down buildings ever since and has kept the same marking," Rise said.

"Possibly, but I'm gonna be looking into this more, I'll let you guys know if I find something that could help us," Ed said.

"That sounds like a good idea," Yu said.

Soon after this, two students from the school they visited walked in today, they asked if they could put something on a bulletin board and, they were given permission and put it on, Yosuke soon got up and looked at it.

"Just a baking club sign up," Yosuke said.

"Baking club?" Yukiko said as she got up to look at it.

She saw what it was and her eyes widened slightly and she looks at Yosuke confused.

"Yeah," Yosuke said as he gives her a look saying not to tell them.

"What? Why not Yosuke-Kun?" Yukiko asked whispering slightly.

"Because, it'll be better if they don't know yet," Yosuke said as he took the pen and wrote a name.

Yukiko gasped and they both whisper bickered for a minute before Yukiko walked back over, looking worried.

"Hey, Yu...? I think that girl is watching me..." Teddie whispers and points to Hanako behind a bookshelf.

"Why would you think that?" Yu asked.

"She just keeps staring at me...! It's freaking me out..." Teddie said feeling himself shrink into his seat a little.

"Go talk to her then," Kanji said.

"NOPE NO WAY!" Teddie yelled.

"Let's go then, I think we've been here long enough anyway," Yu said.

They nod and head out thinking about who would pick where they go next, they chose Rise who took them down to the shopping district

"Well, this is lame, I'm gonna go to a ramen shop I saw nearby, see you guys later," Kanji said.

Ed was looking in the shops selling anime stuff.

The stuff people watch here still weirds me out just as much as it did when I first came to Japan," Ed said looking at a weird poster of a cute anime girl and a monster in a suit.

"What?! You think this stuff is weird?! Even my favorite anime, Kill la Kill?!" Yosuke yelled shocked.

"Yes? I don't know what that is but it sounds violent."

"Oh! Dude! It's so cool! trust me!"

"When we get back we need to binge-watch it, Ed!" Teddie said.

"No-"

"Yes!"

"Yes, Teddie is absolutely right!" Yosuke said.

"Slumber party at Ed's place!" Teddie said.

"But-"

"No buts!" Teddie said cutting Ed off.

"I'm in, anyone else?" Yu said.

"You know I'm in!" Yosuke yelled.

"Do I not get a say?" Ed asked.

"Nope!" Teddie said smiling.

Ed groans at this.

"It's settled then! We'll watch Kill la Kill at Ed's place as soon as we get back!" Yosuke said.

"oh, Yu-Senpai~" Rise called out.

They turn to Rise who had her hands behind her back and a flirty look on her face.

"Do you think I would look good in this?" Rise asked as she showed them what it was, she was holding up an anime-inspired two-piece swimsuit that didn't leave much to the imagination," of course, I could always model it for you when Nanako or dojima aren't around~" she said with a wink.

"Uh..." was all Yu could say.

Yosuke; I feel like I shouldn't be hearing this right now...

Ed: I am legitimately uncomfortable, wanna go look for Kanji and get something to eat and let Yu work this out himself?

Yosuke and Teddie nod.

"Wait guys please don't-"

Yu couldn't finish as they walk away before he can finish his sentence

Rise gets close to Yu's face and smirks.

"Weeeell Senpai~?"

meanwhile, the guys get to Kanji and order something, soon after this, Yukiko, Chie, and Naoto joined them and, as they all ate, tell him what happened.

"I can't believe you left him like that," Kanji said with a little annoyance in the tone of his voice.

"Sometimes there are things a man should handle alone," Yosuke said.

"But you left him alone and helpless!"

"I'm not really good with women so there was really nothing I could do," Ed said.

"Besides, when Rise starts teasing like that there's nothing we can do," Yosuke said.

"Alright, I think I'm just gonna change the subject, so, I found this really awesome store that had tons of kung fu movies!" Chie said.

"Really? That's cool," Yosuke said.

"Kung fu movies huh? What are those like anyway?" Ed asked.

"They are action-filled movies that have great plots along with the kicking and punching and training! Some might have romance, some might have a normal story, and some others may have a tragic backstory leading up to the main character getting revenge!" Chie said pumped.

"I see, that's kinda cool," Ed said.

"I'm guessing you aren't really a movie or TV person Ed-Senpai," Naoto said.

"And you'd be right, Naoto, you see my world didn't really have movies or TV shows, at most when I was younger my mom or Granny would take me, Al and Winry to Amestris to see a theater show sometimes, so I mostly read," Ed said.

"Duuude! Reading is so boring! Movies and manga are so much better!" Yosuke said.

"I disagree."

"Listen, dude, your not in your 19th-century world anymore, get with the times," Kanji said.

"I am," Ed said holding his phone up.

"That's only level one!" Teddie said.

"There are levels now?" Ed said confused.

"Look, all we're saying is get with the time's old man," Kanji said.

"Yeah seriously dude," Yosuke said.

"Alright I guess, not like I got much to lose, as long as I still get time to do my own things," Ed sighed.

"Trust us, Ed! You'll love what this world has!" Teddie said.

"Yes, Teddie is right!" Yukiko said.

Ed looks at them before chuckling.

"Alright, I trust you guy," he said.

Soon Yu and Rise walk in and over to them.

Yu looks at Ed, Yosuke, and Teddie angry.

"You guys suck," he said.

"Sometimes it's every man for himself partner," Yosuke said.

Yu sighs a groan, and Rise giggles.

"So, what now?" Chie asked.

"Is it six yet?" Yosuke asked.

"I think so," Yu said.

"I wanna choose where we go next then! I heard something cool is gonna be happening at eight!" Yosuke said smiling.

"Something cool?" Chie asked.

"Yeah, come on guys, trust me, have I ever let you down before?" Yosuke said.

"Well, what's there?" Kanji asked.

"Its a festival thing they're doing at the school celebrating the 20th anniversary I think, I heard it was going on tonight so I wanna check it out."

"Ooooh! I festival! Sounds fun!" Rise said.

"Yeah! it sounds beartastic!" Teddie said.

"Wow, even for you that was bad," Kanji said.

"Let's go then," Yu said.

So they take the train and head to the school to see that there was indeed a small festival going on.

"Wow, this looks fun," Ed said.

"Ooooh! Time to go explore!" Rise said before she ran off.

"Hey, Ed-kun! Do you want to go look around with me?" Chie asked.

"Sure, why not?" Ed said.

They all separate and explore, and Ed and Chie explore a bit, tasting various foods and trying the games.

"Man, today's not been bad, I never really got a chance to explore much like this honestly," Ed said.

"Yeah, it's fun! Don't you think so?" Chie asked.

"No kidding, I've never really gotten a chance to do stuff like this, I wish Al was here to enjoy it too."

"Oh, Al's your brother, right? You did say you had a brother."

"Yeah, he's an amazing guy, wish you guys would meet him, although if you did, you guys would probably rather have him around more than me, not that I'd blame you," Ed said with a chuckle

"You're cool too Ed!" Chie said with a smile.

"Thanks, your cool too, do you have any siblings?"

"No, I don't. I'm an only child."

"What's that like? Sucky? Fun?"

"In between, it would be nice to have a brother to train with but I do have a lot of alone time."

"That makes sense, having siblings can be the same sometimes."

"Do you have a girlfriend?"

"Well, no, romance was never really a priority, ever since me and Al lost our bodies, my biggest priority for the longest time was getting his back so he could be a normal kid again, then some stuff with Humonkuli got in the way and joining the military and so on, then I came here and spent a whole year doing nothing but traveling, and honestly since I came to the school this has all been the longest I've really relaxed."

"Oooh! I see, maybe you could find a girlfriend here!"

"Maybe, maybe not, but what kinda girl would wanna date a hothead like me?"

"Everyone has their good qualities! I'm sure a girl would wanna date you soon."

"Maybe, just maybe..."

But soon they hear someone talking.

"I cannot believe everyone voted for this contest!" a student said.

"I know right? I can't believe people signed up!" another student said.

"Hm?" Ed said confused.

"Let's go check it out!" Chie said as they moved a little closer.

"So, four people signed up?" a student said.

"Yeah, apparently one of them was a student from that other school I think," other student said.

"Seriously? huh."

"So why would the school vote for a drag contest anyway?"

"Maybe it was meant as a joke but everyone thought it would be fun."

"A drag contest?" Ed said confused.

"Oh uh...basically a crossdressing contest," Chie said.

"I see, that sounds weird."

They rejoin the others and talk about what they heard and saw.

"You can't be serious about them doing that competition," Kanji said.

"U-umm..." Yukiko said looking down.

"What's wrong?" Yu asked looking at Yukiko.

"I... I think Yosuke signed Ed up for it..." Yukiko said.

"WAIT WHAT!?" Ed yelled.

"I'm sorry Ed..." Yukiko said looking down in shame.

"I had to! it's only fair since we had to do it!" Yosuke said laughing.

"That's so mean! he wasn't even here then!" Rise said.

"There is absolutely no way in hell I'm doing this!" Ed said.

"You gotta do it!" Yosuke said.

"Why!?"

"Because we did it last year and any guy who hangs out with us has to do it!"

"That's so dumb!"

"Plus the reward is a thousand dollars."

"Woah! that's a lot of dough!" Teddie said.

"This is a school event right?" Yu said confused by this.

"If you win that we could have the time of our lives doing stuff we cant right now exploring tomorrow!" Yosuke said.

"You don't have to do it if you don't want to, Ed-senpai," Naoto said

"I'm not doing it!" Ed said.

"But... A thousand dollars is a lot, why not? It's not like anyone would care," Rise said.

"Yeah, I heard there were some fun stuff and restaurants we can check out that are expensive," Kanji said.

"It would be worth it, Ed," Yukiko said.

"No way!" Ed said.

"Tell you what, you can beat Yosuke up!" Chie said

"What!? I never agreed to this!" Yosuke said.

"Humiliate myself for a thousand dollars and beat up the guy that did it? not a bad deal," Ed said thinking about it now.

"I feel like I'm gonna need to hide after this," Yosuke said to himself.

"Alright, you win, I'll do it," Ed sighed.

"Then we'll help you get ready! I think we have time to get you ready! come on girls!" Rise said grabbing Ed's arm.

"If we want you to win, we want you to look as best as possible!" Yukiko said.

"And I know exaaactly what to dress you up in, you'll look so pretty!" Rise said.

"I uh-"

Ed didn't finish as he is dragged away into the school. After an hour the guys are standing by the stage with other students, waiting for the girls to come over.

"Man, they've been gone a while," Yosuke said.

"They're probably done by now," Yu said.

"I wonder if Ed will look as cute as I did!" Teddie said.

"Don't say it like that dude," Kanji said.

Sure enough, the girls came back looking more than pleased.

"It went good I'm guessing?" Yu said.

Rise nods and grins

"Can't wait to see how this turns out," Yu said.

And now, the competition begins.

"Welcome to the drag contest! we have four beautiful young ladies here hoping to win the prize! one of which isn't even from here now let's not waste time! let's give them a round of applause!" the Announcer said enthusiastically.

They were all let out one by one, the three others were badly dressed guys with bad makeup and wigs.

"Yikes," Yosuke said cringing.

"He's definitely going to win...!" Yukiko said smiling.

"Is that how we looked?" Kanji said.

"I didn't!" Teddie said

"And now! our Student from Yasogami high! Edolyne!" the announcer said.

A spotlight shines down and shows Ed, he had a look of embarrassment as he wore black high heel boots that went up to his knees, a black skirt that doesn't leave much to the imagination with his chain on it, a red leather jacket with his symbol on the back, white gloves, his hair was down and looked a lot more fluffy and light as it draped over his shoulders a little, he had light makeup with red lipstick and mascara and makeup on his cheeks to make them look a little rosier, the crowd awwed in amazement looking at him.

"Is that seriously him!?" Kanji said shocked.

"D-Dude! he looks like an actual chick!" Yosuke said shocked.

"Are you falling in love Yosuke or what?" Chie asked Cheekily.

"N-No!"

Edolyne stood there silent feeling every negative feeling, anger, and embarrassment mostly.

"My my! what a pretty young girl! can you tell us a bit about yourself?" the Announcer asked holding the microphone up to Edolyne.

"... I-I like... stew..." Edolyne said awkwardly.

The audience laughed and cooed a little at this.

"Well isn't that cute, she's shy, let's hope you'll be the winner!" the Announcer said.

the votes tallied and soon all the contestants stood in front of everyone.

"Alright then! now for the winner! I would first like to thank our contestants for participating and that everyone's a winner!" the Announcer said.

"Then why does one person get a thousand dollars?" Edolyne mumbled.

"Now then... the winneeeeeer! is Edolyne!"

A spotlight shines on him and the audience claps.

"You go, girl," Yu said.

"Yayyy!" Rise cheered.

Edolyne sighs looking down as he accepted a giant check and a bouquet of Roses. They get off stage and Edolyne meets the others, he threw the Roses at one of them and Kanji caught it awkwardly and handed them to Naoto.

"That was probably the most humiliating thing I've ever done," Edolyne said.

"Funny how you transformed from a guy to a girl like this," Yu said.

"It was a bit hard to hide his masculine things like trying to make sure his muscles didn't show through the jacket," Rise said.

"You did a pretty damn good job, I'm impressed," Kanji said.

"Now, where the hell is Yosuke?" Edolyne said pounding his fist into his palm.

They see a few chairs stacked or awkwardly folded against each other, walking over, Edolyne promptly threw those chairs and finds Yosuke cowering and he looks up to see Edolyne with red eyes and fire behind him as he cracks his knuckles, causing Yosuke to run towards the exit but Edolyne chases after him at full sprint.

"Get back here!" Edolyne yelled.

"Cant you at least change or something first!?" Yosuke yelled.

"Poor Yosuke" Yukiko pitied.

And Chie just laughed

They continue chasing each other around the area now. After a bit, Edolyne managed to catch Yosuke and beat him up, and now he was laying on a gym mat groaning in pain.

"Well, that was fun," Edolyne said stretching.

"The contest or beating him up?" Yu asked kinda being sarcastic.

"Why...me...?" Yosuke groaned.

"It'll be okay Yosuke kun!" Teddie said helping him up.

"Let's just go man...I'm tired of this" Yosuke said.

"Definitely beating him up, I'm about ready to change," Edolyne said

"Noooooo! you look so pretty like this," Rise said

"Yeah!" Yukiko agreed.

"No! I really just wanna put on my regular clothes" Edolyne sighed.

"Nope! you'll stay like this until we get to the hotel!" Chie said.

"You can't be serious," Edolyne said.

"The schools gonna be closing anyway so your gonna have to stay like this for a bit anyway," Chie said.

"Yeah, she's right. I'm sorry, Ed-senpai," Naoto said.

"This sucks," Edolyne sighed.

"Sorry Edolyne" Yu said.

"Never call me that again," Edolyne said glaring.

"Let's go Edolyne!" Rise said walking towards the door.

"I really hope you guys don't call me that again after I take this off," Edolyne sighed.

They leave and go back to their hotel room, this was only the first day here, who knows what tomorrow will bring.
