Rachel's P.O.V
I'm not sure why but I've been very tired lately and nauseous the past few days. I've had to miss a few days of training this week much to my dad's dismay but I just haven't had the energy. Since I haven't trained with my father, I've been going to see Solomon to attempt to talk to Rose again but she is very, very stubborn and hasn't been letting me in.
"Okay Rachel, if it doesn't work today I think we should involve Santana again." He says and I nod my head. I really need to talk to Rose. She's been wanting to take control more and more it's becoming a lot harder to deal with. I also blame my interaction with Finn because it mostly happens when he's around.
"Okay, are you ready?" I ask him and he nods his head. I close my eyes and he begins talking to me...and soon his voice becomes nothing but a distant noise until it's completely gone. I feel the familiar feeling of grass beneath my feet and hear the rushing water of the fall. I sigh in relief and walk towards the water, to see Rose sitting on a large rock. Once she sees me she sneers.
"Is there a reason you won't leave me alone?" I clench my teeth to try to remain calm. Is this a game to her?
"Yes, this is a game to me. We're in the same place Rachel, your thoughts aren't safe here." She says and I roll my eyes.
"We are coming to a compromise right now. You are not going to keep trying to take control." I tell her sternly and her eyebrows shoot to her forehead in shock.
"You realize I'm the alpha here? Right?" She says.
"That's just it. You're not anything without me and vice versa. We need each other so we are one. You can't just do whatever you want, when you want." I tell her and she stares at me intensely before speaking.
"You are a human. If I wanted to, I could lock you in here forever and live your life. I won't because I don't like humans. They're weak and that bothers me." She says calmly then glances over at the water.
"What do you want to come to a compromise about?" She asks and I sit in the grass in front of her.
"We need to find a balance so that we're both happy. I can't have you trying to show yourself when we're in public. You have to let me have some control over my life and my body." I tell her.
"What do I get in return?" She asks.
"What do you want?"
"I'm..becoming restless."
"Even while we're training? That has to tire you." I say and she shrugs.
"That's only a couple of days of the week. I want 2 hours everyday to do whatever I want and I'll leave you to handle your human situations." She says and I sigh. I guess I can find some time to let her run. Rose smiles at me and speaks again.
"Glad we're on the same page."
"Also, since we're compromising, no pups yet. We haven't even claimed her yet." I tell her. She smirks briefly then her expression changes to a curious one.
"Why haven't we done that yet? I know you humans have to like each other and blah, blah, blah. We're past that point so let's do it already." She says. Santana and I have been so preoccupied with things outside of wolves, that we've barely let our wolves see each other at all.
"We'll get there." I tell her and she sighs softly.
"Is that all you want?" She asks me and I nod.
"Fine, but if you go back on our deal it'll be the last deal we ever make." I nod my head before standing.
"You can leave now. It's the same way you came." She says and I turn around. I don't see anything but more wildlife and plants.
"Just walk." She says and I roll my eyes but begin to walk away from her. This is the first time she hasn't just kicked me out.
"Rachel?" She calls out and I turn to look at her.
"Protein is really important for us right now so eat some meat. We all need it." I look at her curiously before the scene fades to darkness and I open my eyes to see Solomon smiling at me.
"Seems like it went better this time." He says and I nod my head.
"It could've gone better but it wasn't as bad as the last time." I tell him as I take his outstretched hand to help me stand.
"Good. Do you think you'll be able to communicate with her on your own now?" He asks me and I shrug.
"I'll try it and get back to you. I'm going to go home now and try to take a nap." Solomon nods then walks out of the room. I follow him, making my way to the front door when he presents a brown paper bag to me.
"Tea. To help soothe your stomach." He says. I never told him I was feeling well.
"They don't call me wise for nothing. I've put the leaves in bags so it's easier for you. Try two cups a day with milk...doesn't have to be from a cow obviously." He says with a soft smile as I take the bag from him. I nod and thank him before leaving.
Santana's P.O.V.
"You sure she'll like it?" Quinn asks me for the one thousandth time. I roll my eyes as we leave the jewelry store.
"It's Brittany we're talking about. Of course she'll love it now stop asking me about it." I tell her as we walk back to my car.
"I wouldn't have brought you if I knew you were going to be a bitch about it." She says and I roll my eyes. Quinn bought Brittany a gold necklace with B attached to it.
"I brought you and I'm always a bitch, get use to it." Quinn rolls her eyes.
"How's the Finn situation?" Quinn asks and I sigh.
I'm seriously hating this fucking solution. It's been 2 weeks and every time I see him, I want to rip his throat out but I'm trying to do what's best for all of us. No way Rachel could survive being a lone wolf if we get kicked out of our packs, alpha or not and Britt? I would never want to see her have to deal with that. Quinn and I would probably be fine...but I'm not willing to take that risk. Lone wolves are targets for all packs because it normally means you're pretty fucked up and that's why you don't have a pack. I will protect Rachel by any means necessary.
"He still believes it if that's what you mean." I answer.
"Rachel's okay with everything?" She asks me and I shrug.
"She tells me it doesn't bother her much but I don't really know. She told me off about following them." I tell Quinn and she laughs.
"You started following them?" She asks and I shrug.
"It's...precautionary. They went to the movies so I decided to see the same movie, at the same theater, at the same time." I say which makes Quinn laugh harder.
"Why am I not surprised?"
"I just needed to be sure he knew his limitations." I tell her with a shrug as we reach my car. We both get in before Quinn responds.
"And Rachel doesn't like having her own security guard?"
"Not really, but whatever, I stopped."
"Is she feeling any better? Brittany told me she hasn't trained in a few days." Quinn asks as I pull away.
"Not really. I think she might've caught a bug or something." I tell Quinn. As werewolves, it's hard for us to get sick but it's not impossible.
"Maybe." Quinn says with a shrug.
"I'm going over there after I drop you off." Quinn nods.
We keep talking on the way to Quinn's house and I ask Rachel if she's feeling better and she tells me she is. I let her know I'm on my way and make my way there. As I pull up, I see Finn pulling off from her house. What the hell is he doing here?
"Why are you so angry?" I hear Rachel ask me.
"Why is Finnocence leaving your house?" I ask her as I park and get out of the car.
"He keeps popping up unexpectedly. He came by to see if I was okay." She says and I groan. I don't know how long I can keep doing this. This fake dating seems a lot more real than I'd like.
"I'm outside." I tell her as I approach the door. It opens and Rachel is standing there with an apologetic smile.
"I'm sorry about that." I sigh and shake my head.
"I know it's fake but I get jealous. I hate this." I tell her and she pulls me close to her by her hips. I let myself relax in her arms and breathe in her scent...that smells slightly different but I can't put my finger on it.
"I love you." She says then pecks my lips.
"I love you too." I tell her.
"Remember that the next time you get upset." I sigh as she pulls me closer. I wrap my arms around her shoulders and nod.
"Sorry, this is is just kind of hard for me. Harder than I expected..." I tell her.
"I know, it's not pleasant for me either. Any free time I have I want to spend with you. No one else." She says then takes a few steps back while still holding onto me. I follow her until we're both inside and I kick the door closed.
"Glad you're feeling better." I tell her as she finally let's me go.
"Solomon gave me some tea that works wonders." She says to me and I nod as she begins to walk towards her room. I follow and we spend the next few hours talking before she falls asleep.
A/N: I know this seems a little slow but it's for a reason. Hope you enjoyed this little bit and I'll be back soon.
