Chapter 22: Summer Vacation

Harry's POV:

"Harry! Please tell me what in the world were you doing and for what reason" Hermione pleaded to me sitting beside me .

I just shook my head and said "Hermione, it isn't something of your concern and the Headmaster told me to keep it quiet for a while besides I am fine, nothing happened to me." I was still laying on the bed in the Hospital Wing since my scar was still hurting a little and I was forced to take some rest by Madam Pomfrey.

Speaking of Madam Pomfrey, she was standing right behind Hermione looking extremely irritated. Even, I would be if the Hospital Wing got more visitors than usual.

A lot of my friends and some senior came to check up on me and ask for my wellbeing. Draco and Ron also came most likely to mock me but were caught by my House's prefect and the best part is instead of getting points removed for trying to bother me, they got themselves detention with Argus Filch much to Argus and my pleasure.

After being cleared by Madam Pomfrey. I was finally released and returned back to my House's Common room.

When I entered through the door, I saw everyone's eyes turn to me, rushing towards me they started asking questions.

"Were you really in the third floor corridor?"

"Did you see a dead body there, Harry?"

"Was there a monster in there?"

"Harry, Did Professor Quirrell died there?"

I smirked and put a finger to my lips in a Hush tone and whispered "Give me your ear and I might tell you."

Now everybody nears me and I whispered "It's a secret." and everybody face fault at that while I left to my room chuckling. I always wanted to do that to someone.

My scar finally stopped giving me migraines which was something I was really grateful for. I laid at the bed waiting for Selina to show up.

After a while, My Familiar appeared by slithering her way up through the window to my room. I immediately pulled my hand towards her way for her to climb it. She climbed and rolled herself around me before saying "Ah! Master how are you recently? I, myself got a lot of prey to hunt and feast upon, Ooooh! they were so delicious it was unbelievable." She exclaimed delightfully as she was talking about her food.

I just gently smiled and asked a question that might be able be some help for me "Hey Selina, Do you know anything about what I could do to the Horcrux in my scar?" while slowly rubbing my lightning shaped scar. Selina froze from her blabber and looked at me for a moment.

"Master, I don't know myself on what to do when it come to Horcruxes but they are probably mentioned in Master Salazar notes. Master, are you thinking that it might be time to end the scar that lies on your forehead?"

I nodded gently and slowly while looking at her. I hissed "This scar is too disruptive, it will most likely come to bite me in the ass if I leave it as it is. Now why don't you scurry along while I get my eyes to rest."

"Okay Master!" she hissed before hiding herself from my view. I closed my eyes and went to sleep as tomorrow night will be the end of the year feast.

=====Line Break=====

After waking up before dawn. I decided that I need to take the Diadem with me back Home for experimenting. When I grabbed my invisibility cloak, I noticed that Selina was still sleeping, deciding not to wake her up, I went and left the Ravenclaw common room.

I made my way to the seventh Corridor and paced myself around where it should be and thought about lost Items, suddenly a door appeared out of nowhere from the wall of the left corridor. When I opened and looked inside it, I saw what looked like mountains of lost item and junk in a giant hall. I made my way inside of the Room of Hidden things and went to search for the Diadem since you couldn't use summoning charm here for some reasons.

After 30 minutes, I finally found the goddamn Horcrux and during that time searching I was scanning all the exotic and interesting books that I was coming across with my phone

I gently placed the diadem in a case I prepared that is made for handling dark objects and Horcrux are as dark as they come.

I immediately rushed back all the way back to my room just to encounter an angry Selina.

"MASTER! Where did you run off and done now? You already worry me very much with your recklessness." She hissed seethingly

I just stared blankly at her, Yeah! I might be reckless but that just rude when you are way too blunt about it. Not wanting to retort to earn even more ire, I just explained what I was doing and also told her that I didn't wake her up because she is not a morning person like I am or should I say a morning serpent.

She huffed and turn her sight away from me and muttered "Stupid Master, who in the bloody world wakes up before the crack of dawn? Only weirdos like him wakes up that early."

I had a tick mark in my forehead, she most likely doesn't realizes that I can still hear her. I gently calm myself before reconciling with her. It didn't take much effort from me and my beautiful serpent was once again snuggling against me.

I made my way to the Common Room (now hiding Selina from everyone's view once again) at the time where I knew that everyone most likely woken up already.

Hermione was sitting with Sue Li and Padma Patel gossiping about the exams and recently about what happened with me.

Oh Yeah! I forgot to mention that we took the exams for our first year term and they were honestly a piece of cake for me and Hermione. The funny part about the entire thing was that Snape was able to once again embarrass himself when he argued with Professor McGonagall that as the Potions teacher, he has the right to check and mark all the test, even mine.

McGonagall jus looked at him like he was stupid and just walked off ignoring his existence much to Snape's indignation and everyone else's amusement, even the Slytherins were snickering at the expression Snape was making.

Now focusing on what's happening now, I made my way to them and gave them my greetings. They both responded and we had a conversation about somethings that I missed out on like the Quidditch Cup which will be most likely to be won by the Hufflepuff House since they had the most wins in the sport this year, Well kudos to them

I saw now that everyone was gathered at the Common Room gossiping or having conversation with each other. I also joined them by speaking to Terry Boot, Anthony Goldstein and Michael Corner about who might win the house cup.

"Mate if its anyone to win the House Cup than it most likely is our house this year since we got you and your girlfriend right here winning points left and right. I don't know if they might deduct some points for that last stunt you pulled on that third floor corridor, speaking of which mate, please for the love of God tell us what in the world happened there." Anthony said and Terry also joined in on this. I slightly felt sheepish at Anthony calling Hermione my girlfriend but didn't comment on it.

"Yeah Mate, if the House doesn't get the cup then it most likely will be your fault. Damn, I was hoping to see the Slytherin lose this year since I heard that they won for the cup for six years continuously."

"That is only because Snape is their head and he is biased against everyone that isn't in his house." Michael said

I shook my head at resignation and said "Guys, I honestly can't really tell you about the third floor incident since Dumbledore told me to not mention it for a while but if you are asking me on my opinion on who might win then it most likely will be our House."

Everyone of them grinned at what I said and I couldn't help but joined them in grinning, the only reason that I cared for getting the points was not to win the House Cup but to see Snape and Malfoy's expression when they lose.

I left the Common room to make my way to Hagrid's Hut and when I opened I saw the big guy himself but he was for some reason looking at me with guilt. He then faced me and burst into tears

It's - all - my - ruddy - fault!" he sobbed, his face in his hands." I told the evil git how ter get past Fluffy! I told him! It was the only thing he didn't know, an' I told him! Yeh could've died! All fer a dragon egg! I'll never drink again! I should be chucked out an' made ter live as a Muggle!"

"WAIT. . .Hagrid stop with all the crying and pity talk. It wasn't your fault, none of it was." I pleaded to him forgetting that Hagrid kind of blamed himself for the stone situation because of his big mouth.

"Yeh could've died!" sobbed Hagrid.

"Hagrid seriously whatever happened down there wasn't your fault and look at me, I am fine so please cheer up, Hagrid, I saved the Stone, it's gone, He can't use it. Have a Chocolate Frog, I've got loads. . . "

Hagrid wiped his nose on the back of his hand and said, "That reminds me. I've got yeh a present. "

"It's not a stoat sandwich, is it?" I said anxiously, and at last Hagrid gave a weak chuckle.

"Nah. Dumbledore gave me the day off yesterday ter fix it. 'course, he shoulda sacked me instead - anyway, got yeh this. . . "

It seemed to be a handsome, leather-covered book. I opened it. It was full of wizard photographs. Smiling and waving at me from every page were my apparently blood mother and father.

"Sent owls off ter all yer parents' old school friends, askin' fer photos. . . knew yeh didn' have any. . . d'yeh like it?"

I looked at him with a bright smile and lightly said to him "Thank You Hagrid. This is the best present anyone has ever given me."

It really was, I mean they are my blood family right. In my previous life as an orphan the one thing I wished I had was to have something of my parents but I never had any of that. In this world, even though I have Petunia and Sirius if he is serious about being there for me ( Get it! It's a pun), it just feels right that you know something about your own blood parents no matter who they are.

I returned back to the Common room to meet up with Hermione and we both hung up for a while before I left saying that I need to pack some stuff of mine already.

I entered my room and weakly asked my Familiar in Parseltongue "Selina Why do I feel my heart stand still when I saw the pictures of Lily and James Potter."

The Serpent came out of my robes with a looked at me with something akin to sympathy "My Dear Master, It is because there is the Original Harry Potter Soul is still inside you. That is the true reason I worry for you, you have similar traits that you share with him since both of you are foolhardy, reckless, forbearing, loyal, brave, secretly somewhat cunning if I say saw myself and finally have a knack to attract trouble everywhere you go."

I was surprised by that and questioned "So does that mean his soul still exist in this body?"

Selina answered with a head shake and hissed "More like fused with your soul so it kind of means that you are an amalgamation of the most purest soul this world has to offer and the soul of an outsider who knows more than he should."

I became even more curious as I never really questioned about my existence in this world, I really should have done this ages ago but then I realized that I had bigger concerns at the time. I questioned myself "So Why am I even here in the first place and what am I here for?" thinking if some God put me in this world here his amusement

Apparently Selina heard me and then said "If you are thinking that some God did this to you then forget about it Master. It is most likely Harry Potter that you took over did this."

I narrowed my eyes at her and hissed "Explain."

"Since the boy was miserable with the Dursley, he most likely called out his magic to help him in some shape or form. Coincidentally, you also died in the exact same time and The magic of the Original Harry Potter somehow summoned your soul and fused it with the boy's." She clarified

I asked incredulously "Can Magic work like that?"

"Master, magic works in strange way. When it comes to magic I can guarantee you that anything is possible" she answered

"If what you said is true that I am an amalgamation then what do you think of me Selina?" I asked her, sort of eager for her response.

"Master, when we first met I was somewhat intrigued by your existence but that soon turned to fascination then to adoration. I am glad that you exist Master since I am a familiar to you, my dear Master" she said before going against my chest to get a good snuggle.

I was a bit happy because of that. It is possible what Selina said and might truly be the reason why I am even here in the first place but for now all of my attention will be going to my future and the future of this world.

At night, I saw the Prefect gathering the students to make haste to the Great Hall.

We all made our way to the Great Hall. Everyone except the Gryffindors were already sitting on their seats and we formally sat on the Ravenclaw table. Then the Gryffindors came led by their Prefect and they sat on their respective table.

Everybody was talking with each other but when Dumbledore arrived, all the babble died away.

"Another year gone!" Dumbledore said cheerfully. "And I must trouble you with an old man's wheezing waffle before we sink our teeth into our delicious feast. What a year it has been! Hopefully your heads are all a little fuller than they were. . . you have the whole summer ahead to get them nice and empty before next year starts. . .

"Now, as I understand it, the house cup here needs awarding, and the points stand thus: In fourth place, Gryffindor, with one hundred and twelve points; in third, Hufflepuff, with three hundred and fifty-two; Slytherin has three hundred and ninety five and Ravenclaw in first place has five hundred and fifty seven"

A storm of cheering and stamping broke out from the Ravenclaw table. I could see Anthony banging his goblet on the table. It was a delightful sight all around me, even Hermione was cheering with the rest. Draco's and Ron's face were shivering with hatred and loathing at my house to winning much to my secret delight. I mean look at these two, they are figuratively 5 year olds almost about to throw temper tantrums at a hall filled with nothing but adults.

"Yes, Yes, well done, Ravenclaw," said Dumbledore. "Ahem," said Dumbledore. "I have a few last-minute points to dish out. Let me see. Yes. . ."

"First–to Miss Granger and Mister Evans for getting perfect score, I award Ravenclaw fifty points each"

"Second–again to Mr. Harry Evans. . . " said Dumbledore. The room went deadly quiet. ". . . for pure nerve, outstanding courage and using logic to uncover a conspiracy, I award Ravenclaw house sixty points. "

'Somethings don't change do they' I thought to myself. However, who am I to complain for more extra points. I saw everyone applauding at me for getting myself more points rewarded.

"The Hogwarts Quidditch Cup will we awarded to Team Hufflepuff for outstanding display on the pitch and earning the most wins this year"

Hufflepuff cheered loudly and everyone except Slytherin joined them by applauding loudly.

It was most likely the best evening in my time in Hogwarts.

The exams results then came in and just as expected both Me and Hermione got the best grades of the first year. Everyone I knew passed with great or at least decent marks. Even Ron barely passed the exams much to my displeasure since I wanted him to be kicked out. The reason why he even passed in the first place was because Molly Weasley sent a letter to Percy to tutor Ron. It was truly a shame, but like everyone says you couldn't have everything in life.

Our Wardrobe became empty and our trunks were packed with our belongings. Neville's toad was found lurking in a corner of the toilets; Selina met with Hedwig my owl for the first time and to my surprise both became fast friends instead of bitter rival fighting for my affection.

Notes were handed out to all students, warning them not to use magic over the holidays ("I always hope they'll forget to give us these," said Fred Weasley sadly); Hagrid was there to take us down to the fleet of boats that sailed across the lake; we were boarding the Hogwarts Express; talking and laughing as the countryside became greener and tidier; eating Bettie Bott's Every Flavor Beans as we sped past Muggle towns; pulling off our wizard robes and putting on jackets and coats; pulling into platform nine and three-quarters at King's Cross Station.

I said my farewell to all the good friends I made in Hogwarts. It took quite a while for us all to get off the platform. A wizened old guard was up by the ticket barrier, letting us go through the gate in twos and threes so we didn't attract attention by all bursting out of a solid wall at once and alarming the Muggles.

Hermione and I made our way through the crowd to seek where our guardians were. I was finally able to catch a glimpse of mom's face and rushed towards her with Hermione quickly following me.

Mom who was looking anxiously everywhere around her finally saw me and smiled brightly. She crouched and open her hands wide just for me to jump and embrace her tightly.

"I missed you so much" she whispered in my ear.

"I know, I did too" I replied.

We both separated from each other embrace and were able to see the Granger's reunion. We were all really happy to finally be together after a period of separation.

Mom drove her car from the station back to our home in Hampshire. Selina who was slithering in my jacket was intrigued by the buildings and other creation Muggle created during the drive.

"It is amazing how Muggle can come up with these amazing scenery, isn't that right Master?" she said and Hedwig agreed with her.

I nodded at that as she was in the chamber for almost as long as Hogwarts existence. Of course! She would be fascinated by the stuff Muggles were able to come up with.

I was a bit nostalgic when we reached our house, it felt like an eternity ago when I was last here. I am pretty sure that Mon felt the same and was elated that I was finally back from Hogwarts.

After I unpacked my trunk and other luggage that I had as well as Selina and Hedwig on my room and went straight to the lounge where Petunia sat watching the TV. I sat next to her and we spent the next few hours talking about what happened throughout the year.

Selina POV:

'This is so boring' I thought not amused by my master leaving me in this room. Hedwig hooted in agreement with me, I still can't believe that this owl is smarter than I thought.

Our Master is pretty much dense when it comes to me and the owl. He thinks that both of us have become good friends but in our eyes, we are nothing but sister looking for the best mates we could possibly find to serve her to our Dear Master.

Yes! Mates with a plural, since master is an outsider. He is definitely going to attract many others from the opposite sex because of how passively chaotic his magic is.

Master Magic makes everything more convenient for him without him even realizing it happen which is how me and the Owl befriended each other.

"Hey Hedwig, Do you want to hear interesting stories about our Master's love life with the Granger girl" I hissed and Hedwig leaned her head for her to look interested.

'I think it isn't that bad anymore in this room since I have great company with me' I thought a bit giddy about telling the owl about Master.

=====Scene Break=====

Third Person POV:

The tension was high in the Wizengamot since the Head of Department of Magical Law Enforcement recently wanted everybody to be present for an urgent case.

Every Lord and Lady of Ancient Houses as well as various Head of Department were present since they were invited by Amelia Bones personally to attend and when someone say that there is gonna be a big bomb dropping who wouldn't want to join in to watch it explode.

The Minister Cornelius Fudge followed by Dolores Umbridge, the Senior Undersecretary along with Pius Thicknesse entered the hall and sat down to their respective seat. The Minister looked around slightly sweating from anxiety since he doesn't have a clue on what in the world Madam Bones was cooking in her head.

Various Aurors were standing in post, guarding the attending people from anyone who might dare to interrupt the Wizengamot session.

Last one to arrive was the current Hogwarts Headmaster, Chief Warlock and Supreme Mugwump, Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore himself as he appeared gracefully from the front entrance.

"What was so important for you to need my presence in this session, Cornelius?" He asked light-heartedly.

Fudge answered "Albus! Dear Friend, it doesn't have anything to do with me this time but Madam Bones wanted everyone in attendance for a really special case of hers"

Dumbledore nodded and took his seat. He gazed around to look at everyone, it was honestly a surprise for him that for the first time in history everyone was attending a Wizengamot session and another surprise was the presence of an old friend, Alastor Moody who was sitting in one corner drinking from his flask while his magic-eye madly looking around the entire hall, He was there with a company of a black dog to which he assumed was owned by one of the Heads sitting here.

'This must be important if Amelia involved you into this, Alastor' He thought with trepidation.

Moody who was still drinking from his flask murmured to the black dog "You sure, you ready for this?. There will be pandemonium in here."

The dog who was lost in thought jolted from hearing Moody speak. He nods to answer Alastor when he repeats the question once more.

Finally, Madam Bones, The Head of Magical Law Enforcement makes her appearance by coming slowly through the front entrance. It became so silent that her steps were heard echoing through the hall making the majority shiver from her commanding presence.

Umbridge nudges Cornelius Fudge who came out from his trance from seeing the no nonsense Head of the DMLE instantly take charge, he stammered "S-Shall the Wizengamot session commence"

Amelia nods and spoke with authority "So it Shall"
