Chapter 16: Cassette Battle
Soundwave: This is where it ends Autobots.
Blaster: Ugh, not you again.
Optimus Prime: Soundwave step aside now or else we will have to fight you.
Soundwave: I will not allow you to intererfere with Starscream's plans. Eject!
Soundwave ejects all his cassette bots, Rumber, Frenzy, Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, Ravage and Ratbat.
Hot Rod: Looks like we gotta take care of these guys first.
Blaster: No, just me.
Optimus Prime: Blaster no.
Blaster: You and Hot Rod are the only ones who can use the Matrix against Starscream. There's no time to waste for you. Besides, I've been waiting for a rematch with Soundwave.
Laserbeak and Buzzsaw flew together and attacked them from above. The Autobots dodged the attack and tried to shoot back. Blaster ejected Ramhorn, Steeljaw, Rewind and Eject to fight.
Blaster: Go now!
Hot Rod: But Blaster...
Arcee: He knows what he's doing Hot Rod. We have to keep moving.
Optimus Prime: Hot Rod, Arcee. Move out!
Optimus and the others moved on while Blaster stayed behind to fight Soundwave.
Soundwave: You wish to fight me again Blaster?
Blaster: Of course, you think you scared me away?
Soundwave: Insulant fool. You are no match for my supererority.
Blaster: No, you're the fool for believing Screamer's ideas.
Soundwave: I am made to follow my master. You lost to me last time. What makes you think you can beat me now?
Blaster: I don't know, but I'm doing this to keep you from getting to Optimus.
Soundwave: You will die here. And this time I will make sure of it.
The two of them get out their guns and start firing at each other. They got behind some barriers as the kept firing at each other. But soon they both shot each other at their hands, knocking away their weapons and resorted to hand to hand combat. Blaster punched Soundwave twice in the face. But when he tried to punch him again Soundwave grabbed his fist. Blaster tried to punch him with his other fist, but he caught that one too. Soundwave knee kicks him and then picked him up and threw him aside. Soundwave pinned him down and began punching him multiple times.
Rewind: Blaster!
Rewind tried to go help him, but is shot by Rumble, knocking him down.
Eject: Rewind!
Eject went to go check on him.
Eject: Are you...
Rewind: I'm fine, really.
Rewind got back up as the two are being countd by Rumbe, Fenzy and Ravage.
Rumble: You think you can get through us that easily? Nobody messes with Soundwave.
Frenzy: Yeah lets scrap these guys. Sick em Ravage.
Ravage growled and pounced at them. Eject fired at Ravage sending him away. The two of them then fought Rumble and Frenzy. Soundwave continued punching Blaster until the latter kicked him off. The two of them continued fighting until the both punched each other through the chest, breaking the cassette slot. They both fell to their knees badly hurt. But Soundwave got out his gun and got up. Blaster was still weak and couldn't move.
Soundwave: I told you would not defeat me. Soundwave superior. Autobot inferior.
Blaster: The...the only thing inferior is you're know it all ego.
Soundwave: Silence! Die here.
Rewind: NO!
Rewind knocked away Rumble and jumped up to Soundwave's head. Eject joined him and so did Ramhorn and Steeljaw. They kept Soundwave from shooting at Blaster.
Blaster: Guys...
Rewind: Come on Blaster you can do this.
Eject: Show him what you're made of.
Blaster saw his weapon right close to him. He reached out for it. Soundwave shook off the Autobot cossette bots and was about to fire at Blaster. But Blaster got up and had his gun in Soundwave's hole in the chest.
Blaster: Say goodnight Soundwave.
Blaster fired in Soundwave and the blast went through his chest. Soundwave stepped back and Blaster picked him up and threw him at the wall sending him flying out of the tower and falling down.
Rumble: Soundwave!
Rumbe and the others hurried down to their boss. Blaster sat back down exhausted.
Blaster: Who's... who's inferior now.
His friends gathered around him to check him.
Blaster: I'm okay. I should thank you all. You saved me there.
Rewind: We wouldn't let anything happen to you.
Eject: Yeah, you're a friend.
Blaster: Ha, yeah.
Blaster looked up at the ceiling.
Blaster: Get there quick Optimus, the rest is up to you.

Author's Note: That's it for this chapter. I really wanted to do this make a chapter of Blaster and Soundwave's fight and I enjoyed doing this one. After all Soundwave is one of my favorite characters in the show and I was disappointed that he was reduced to a minor character in season 3. I'm sorry that these past few chapters have been short, but I'm doing each fight one by one. Next will be Arcee vs Airachnid and then Optimus and Hot Rod against Starscream.
