[Kurogiri's Bar]

It's been two weeks since the group's escape from one of Junkstein's 'unused' labs. Raiden, Mikistein, Zombina, and Blair were all holed up in Kurogiri's hideout; a bar with a dungeon down below.

"I can never thank Mr. Kurogiri enough for allowing us to stay here," Mikistein murmured, while using a light to examine Raiden. "All right. Thanks to the spare parts Mr. Kurogiri provided, you should be all good to go!"

"Hmm, the minor discomfort is gone. I just feel…normal." Raiden said and flexed his hands. His stomach let out a growl. "I believe I am hungry."

"Well, we're at a bar. Let's see what we can get ya." Mikistein said, and lead him upstairs. "I can only hope that Zombina hadn't drove Miss Valentine crazy yet."

"You'll be losing that bet. Nothing can drive my assistant up the wall." Kurogiri commented as they entered the bar area.

Mikistein was baffled. "How did you-?"

"This hideout is my domain. I can hear anything and everything within these walls." The smoky man clarified, continuing to clean glasses. "As for Zombina…"

He gestured to one of the table, where the zombie monster girl was out like a light. Her eyes were swirly, and a syringe was jammed in the side of her neck.

"She was too loud." Valentine said simply, cleaning the table Blair was occupying.

"So what happens now?" Raiden inquired.

"Depends. You're welcome to stay as long as you like. Provided you help me with certain tasks." Kurogiri said, making Raiden a drink. "You up for it?"

Raiden nodded. "After I eat. Do you have ramen?"

"Specific, but we'll accommodate." Kurogiri said, and snapped his fingers. "Valentine. A bowl of ramen!"

"Coming right up." Valentine nodded, and zoomed towards the kitchen.

Mikistein sat next to Raiden. "What will you have us do?"

"Got a raven from some rich lord in Adlersbrunn. He's calling for 'defenders' to come to his aid and defend his castle." Kurogiri snorted and served the drinks. "It sounds like Dr. Junkenstein's Monster is on the loose again. The survivors claimed that he was looking to make his "Bride"."

"Sounds like the good doctor has violated the laws of nature again." Blair mused from her table. "Do you know anything?"

"Yes, thanks to a wandering Demon Hunter. She's dropped by several times with intel on Junkenstein's Zomnic creations." Kurogiri explained. "Our guess is that Junkenstein is attempting to create a female version of his Monster, or something along those lines."

"Even so, Junkenstein would've attacked the town out of spite. The people there laughed at this creations and abused them. He would definitely want some payback." Mikistein stated, and downed her drink. "I suppose the lord of the castle will pay handsomely?"

Kurogiri nodded. "Yes. We can split the profits."

"I'm down." Raiden said. A large bowl of ramen was set in front of him. "Thank you."

Valentine smiled through her mask. "My pleasure."

"I find it amazing that he can still eat." Blair noted as Raiden loudly slurped his noodles.

"Well, his digestion system and whatnot were still intact, along with his reproductive organs. He's more android than cyborg." Mikistein said with a cheesy grin.

Valentine merely stared at her. "No? If he has organic parts remaining, then he's still a cyborg."

A tick mark appeared on Mikistein's head. "How do you work with her?"

The glowing eyes under Kurogiri's cloud narrowed with amusement. "It's easier than you think. And she's right you know."

"Sounds like need to go back to school, Mikistein." Blair mused.

Mikistein whined, with Quiet patting her on the back.

[Adlersbrunn, the next night]

Raiden, Zombina, Mikistein, Blair, Fabriek, Valentine, and Quiet were outside the castle walls. They had just finished meeting with the Lord of the Castle, who was grateful for their assistance.

"Do you see anything?" Raiden asked Kurogiri, who had one of his eyes closed.

"We have a legion of Zomnics and Zombardiers drifting to our position, one mile out." Kurogiri reported, and reopened his eye. "Junkenstein's leading them, and it looks like he has his friends."

Blair hummed. "The Reaper, the Summoner, and the Witch of the Wilds, correct?"

"How can you see that?" Mikistein asked as a crow landed on Kurogiri's shoulder.

"My avatar here's a part of my special ability when I was once a samurai." Kurogiri said, stroking his bird affectionately.

"What happened?" Raiden asked.

"A story for another time, when I track that one person down…" Kurogiri replied, his tone telling Raiden to drop it.

"Hmm, if you say so." Raiden shrugged. "So, how many?"

"10,000, more or less." Kurogiri replied in amusement. "The good doctor's had time on his hands."

"Rosie Palms must be lonely. Not that it matters since this looks to be the Junker's last stand." Zombina said, twirling her guns. "Let's give this battle one to remember."

"Right, so there's several points of entry, and three lanes that the Zomnics can charge us from." Raiden said, pointing at said entries with his sword. "We'll have to be careful since the Zombardiers will pick us off from their backlines."

"It's going to be a long night. Let us bolster our defenses. I don't think we'll be able to wait for the other defenders to get here in time." Blair advised, before hopping on her broomstick, taking off into the air.

Uttering a foreign chant, she summoned a horde of flaming skeletons to fight on her behalf. Their bones creaked and crackled as they moved around, wielding swords and shields. When their attention turned to Blair's comrades, Blair casted a spell to prevent them from attacking them.

Mikistein was zipping around the defensive perimeter, placing mechanical turrets and traps on key defensive points, before erecting a barrier shield near the doors and hid behind it to protect herself.

Quiet, on the other hand, perched herself on a hedge and made herself a sniper's nest.

A while later, the group heard a mad, cackling laughter from the distance, followed by a chain of explosions.

"He's here." Raiden grunted, getting up from his sitting position.

Zombina laughed. "Ha! They tripped my traps!"

"But there's still too many of them." Valentine pointed out.

"It won't matter once we killed Dr. Junkenstein. He falls, the rest will follow." Blair commented, still floating in the air.

As soon as the Zomnics appeared, a shot rang out above them. The group looked up to see Quiet from her perch, gunning down the Zomnics that came in sight. Noticing her team looking up at her, she winked.

"Right then, let's go put a damper on Junkenstein's Revenge." Kurogiri grinned.

Zombina giggled. "Roll credits!"

And so the invasion began. The Zomnics swarmed the entry points without end, slowly moving, but not stopping. When one was cut down, gunned down, or blown up, two more took its place, carelessly stepping over its fallen brethren in a mindless pursuit to search and destroy all living beings that stood in its way.

Mikistein remotely controlled the turrets from behind her shield, aiming them at the entry ways. Despite the heavy firepower from her, Zombina, and Quiet, a lot of the Zomnics still managed to stumble through. For those that got through, Raiden, Valentine, and Kurogiri dealt with them with their respective close range weapons.

With this trusty katana in hand, upgraded by Mikistein and Kurogiri, Raiden sliced through the Zomnics like a hot knife through butter. Even those coming from a floor above were not safe, as Raiden used the springs in his legs to dash towards them.

With her enhanced strength and ninja skills, Valentine knocked many Zomnics away left and right. Whatever wasn't shaved into parts by her bonesaw were quickly downed by her thrown syringe.

Kurogiri's methods to dispatching them were brutal. From his position by the door, he let out a long, thick tendril of mist, lashing out with it. Where it passed, the mist carved straight through the incoming Zomnics, annihilating sections of them. Those that he missed, he simply raised his hand and fired off bullets of the stuff, punching holes through them with tiny portals.

When the Zombardiers made their presence known, they took priority. They came into the area firing off fiery orbs that bombarded everyone's positions.

Raiden immediately slashed his way through the Zomnics and deflected the deadly orbs. When he got close, he sliced and diced them into scrap metal. But then, he jumped back, as some of them exploded with the force of a small bomb.

Worse, Junkerstein's Shock Tires revved their way through the crowd of Zomnics, their rigged up engines roaring. Before they could reach the doors however, Kurogiri's portals redirected them into the Zombardiers. The explosion caused by the impact took out the regular Zomnics around them.

Blair's flaming skeleton soldiers did their jobs in pushing the Zomnics back, but they were slowly being taken out by either the Zomnics exploding in their faces, or the Zombardiers blasting them. Blair attempted to replenish them, but was forced to evade the oncoming Zombardiers.

"Blast, they just keep coming!" Blair yelled, taking cover behind Mikistein's shields.

"Gah, my babies!" Mikistein wailed as the Zombardiers ripped apart her turrets.

"Just make some more, ya big baby!" Zombina scoffed as she reloaded her weapons.

The redheaded Quiet managed to get a few more shots off before abandoning her sniper's nest in time, which was promptly destroyed by an explosive. She landed next to Mikistein and reloaded her rifle.

"We're in danger of being overrun!" Valentine called out as she jumped to the main door. "We need more firepower!"

"You got it!" A new voice called out.

A hail of bullets followed sweeping the area and taking out the active Zombardiers. Then, a woman in a brown cloak wielding an SMG jumped into the fray.

"Oh good, you're finally here." Kurogiri mused as he dumped a few Zomnics off a ledge.

"That's Umbra, the Demon Hunter!" Mikistein squeaked and ducked under her shield, avoiding a blast from the Zombardiers. "Did the Lord of the Castle hire you too?"

"It was an open invitation, good doctor. But last I checked," Umbra pointed at a ledge, where a mass of darkness formed, "I don't think he's here to answer the call."

The mass of darkness then materialized into a man in a Dracula mask and a black and red coat. A familiar chill swept into the area, along with the cocking of two handheld shotguns.

"The Reaper returns for your souls!"

"Joke's on you, bitch! I'm already dead!" Zombina screeched as Reaper teleported near Quiet. "Hey!"

Quiet jumped away as Reaper aimed his gun at her. Before he could get a shot off, Zombina and the Demon Hunter opened fire on him, allowing Quiet to zip away. Reaper quickly phased and floated away to a safe distance. As soon as he rematerialized, he failed to notice Raiden behind him.

With one swing of his blade, Raiden sent Reaper's head flying, the latter's body turning to smoke and dissipating into the ground.

"...Well that was anticlimactic." Zombina laughed.

"Reaper's dead." Raiden reported, and returned to fodder duty.

"For now." said Umbra ominously.

As the defenders continued to take down the Zomnics, Mikistein moved quickly to rebuild her turrets, setting down more than before.

Zombina sighed. "If we can just take down Junkenstein, maybe all these buckets of bolts will collapse en masse."

"You're forgetting Glynda, the Witch of the Wilds." Blair chided her as she summoned waves of hot magma, dumping them onto the Zomnics. They melted instantly on contact, the creaks, cracks, and groans of metal and wires sounding like screams. "She'll just resurrect him."

"That, and she has the Reaper on a leash." Kurogiri added. "Let's keep mowing these Zomnics down. She's bound to come out sooner or later."

Just as he finished his sentence, the ground suddenly shook. The buildings and trees shook as the earth began to tremble from an ungodly force. The heroes looked around in confusion, before hearing a godawful roar.

"Eek!" Mikistein screamed as she scrambled away from her last assembled turret. "It's Junkenstein's Monster!"

"I'M ALIVE!" The big, green humanoid pig roared. Whipping out his weapon that fired scrap, the monster charged towards the gate.

"Not for long, you won't be!" Raiden called back, slicing down a few Zombardiers. "Take him down!"

Zombina, Quiet, Umbra, and Mikistein's turrets opened fire on the Monster, the bullets implanting themselves into its thick skin. Blair flew overhead and dumped magma into its path, but it did little to impede the Monster's battle charge.

"He's much stronger than before!" Blair yelled, slinging elemental spells at the Monster.

The Monster simply bellowed with laughter and simply tanked it all, lumbering towards the others. It aimed its weapon at an incoming Valentine and fired. But just before the young woman met her doom, a portal appeared between her and him. His shards of scrap passed through the dark hole, and were immediately expelled out right back at him. It blasted into his face, halting his progress and making him roar in agony, covering his face with his free hand.

"Hah!" Raiden stabbed his blade into the Monster, but due to the Monster's flailing about, he missed its heart. "Ah, dammit!"

The creature threw Raiden off, with Raiden landing safely on the doors. The latter observed the Monster, and frowned when he noticed turrets different from Mikistein's appearing around them.

"Time to let off some steam!" Yelled a gruff voice. "Now, daughter!"

"On it, Papa!" A small, female voice cried out.

A metal flail suddenly nailed the Monster in the head, knocking him into the middle of the bridge. The Monster tried to get to his feet, but the amount of damage he sustained was finally taking a toll on him. Falling on his knees, a portal opened up beneath him, and down he fell, until-

SLICE!

Kurogiri closed the portal just as his neck began to sink through the black hole, lopping off the head of Junkenstein, with Raiden slicing the head in two for good measure.

"See, open invitation." Umbra teased as the newcomers made themselves known.

"Heh, figures you lot would be here." The short-man dressed in Viking armor mused, directing his comment to Mikistein.

"Geh, Overwitch." Mikistein growled, her mood quickly souring. "Come to try and help us again, Bjørn and Brynhildr?"

"What happened was an accident." The Shieldmaiden countered. "Still, I'm glad to see you're alright, Raiden."

Raiden snorted. "Not in one piece."

"If you jerks want to make up for what you've done, then help us out here!" Zombina shouted.

The Zomnics were still lumbering forward, and the Zombardiers were raining fire on the heroes. But thanks to the additional firepower provided by Umbra, Bjørn, and Brynhildr, the night suddenly looked much brighter, with the new allies joining the fray.

Quiet shot down a few Zombardiers and ducked behind cover when a few flanked her position.

"Amateur."

The Zombardiers that flanked her were shot down by a sniper. Quiet poked her head out in confusion until she spotted a fair skinned woman with clothing of royalty. She wielded a rifle that she expertly used to take down multiple Zombardiers.

Quiet's widened her eyes in surprise as the woman used her grappling hook to zipline over to her. 'Camilla, the Countess of Adlersbrunn…'

"Always be aware of your surroundings…" The woman chided her. "School's in session. "

Quiet just put on a pouty-face before continuing to gun down the Zombardiers. With Camilla at her side, the Zombardiers's numbers were growing thin.

"Gah!"

Raiden was sent sprawling down the stairs on the left. Another volley of Shock-Tires made their way through the area, and Raiden was so busy slicing Zomnics and nearby Zombardiers that he failed to defend against it.

"Raiden!" Mikistein called out to him, seeing his body spark.

Raiden groaned as he sat up, seeing the Zomics loom over him. Before he could lash out at them, he heard shots above him. The Zomnics were instantly brought down and crumbled down the stairs. Raiden blinked at the remains of the Zomnics before looking up.

"Howdy partner." The man who saved Raiden tipped his hat and offered a hand. "Van Hellsing at your service."

Raiden stared at him for a moment before taking his hand. "Thanks."

Hellsing nodded, and clapped Raiden's back. "Why don't you go help Ronin?"

Raiden looked confused until he saw a cloaked man with a hood over his face. Wielding a curved sword, Ronin sliced through the Zomnics in a manner similar to Raiden. As he finally got back to a vertical base, he was handed a container by a mature woman dressed in a corsair outfit.

"Here." She said, shaking the item. "Take a Healing Potion. I optimized it for you, given your condition."

Hellsing nodded. "This is Bastet, our Alchemist. That stuff will fix you up real good."

"Hmm," Raiden hummed, before feeling a familiar chill in the air. "I'll take your word for it." He downed the potion, and instantly felt revitalized. "That'll do." He tossed the empty container aside and rejoined the fray.

Bastet smirked and fired her rifle at her allies, healing them of their wounds. She suddenly felt the Reaper return, appearing behind her. Whipping around, she jumped back and fired a dart. She scowled as the Reaper dematerialized, the dart going through him.

He then rematerialized and took aim at Bastet. Before he could get a shot off, Hellsing hit him with a flash spell, blinding and dazing him.

Hellsing quickly fired off a volley of rounded before Reaper recovered. Hellsing quickly moved moved behind another shield Mikistein erected in front of him, just as Reaper unleashed his fury.

"DIE! DIE! DIE!" Reaper roared, spinning spinning and firing indiscriminately with his shotguns.

Brynhildr charged forward with her shield up, and rammed into Reaper, ceasing his barrage. Reaper attempted to retaliate, but was struck across the face with the Shieldmaiden's flail.

Reaper quickly backed away, but was gunned down by the many turrets that turned their attention towards him. Growling, he attempted to dematerialized, but couldn't. Hearing a laugh, he saw Umbra, who had a shit-eating grin on her face after debuffing him. He lifted his arm to fired, but it suddenly fell limp as he was debuffed further.

"Now, you die, servant of the Witch." Blair missed, summoning four pillars of light from beneath Reaper that reached the sky. "O wind, undefiled, embrace those who would be our enemies! Innocent Shine!"

A single pillar made from the four pillars of light slamming down on Reaper, evaporating him.

"I hope that's the last of him." Mikistein whined, poking her head from behind her shield cover.

"When we end the Witch, only then will his soul be free." Bastet refuted sadly.

Kurogiri snorted. "Then we continue to put him to the ground, no matter how many times it takes."

Suddenly, multiple Shock Tires rolled into the area. Raiden and Ronin managed to evade them and regrouped with the others.

"Oh no, not again!" Zombina yelled as they cleared out the incoming tires. "That is it! I've had it! Get out here right now Junkenstein, and so help me-"

"Thought you never ask!"

The defenders looked across the way to see Junkenstein perched atop an abandoned watchtower, crackling madly.

"I was being rhetorical…" Zombina whimpered.

"So cares? Just shoot the bastard!" Raiden commanded.

From swords waves, turrets, and gunfire, the heroes immediately attacked Junkstein. Before the attacks could land, a giant barrier erected and spread along the area, blocking the projectiles.

"If you want to get to the good doctor," the dragonborn Summoner said, appearing many ways away from Junkenstein, "You'll have to get through me."

"Oh great. It's Theryassa the Summoner!" Umbra groaned.

"You will all regret the day you underestimated Dr. Jamison Junkenstein!" Junkenstein laughed, before firing his bombs at the opposition. "Now die!"

"Dammit, our turrets can't get to them with that barrier in the way!" Bjørn shouted, and laid out a mat of molten magma on the ground. The bombs exploded harmlessly on contract, but he and the others still had to move when Junkenstein reangled his shots.

"Ronin, let's go after her!" Raiden said and charged forward. "If we take her down, her barrier will follow!"

"Right behind you!" Ronin acknowledged, following Raiden.

Theryassa smirked, before summoning a flaming red object, which pulsed through the area. Her, Junkenstein, the continuously approaching Zomnics, and their supporting Zombardiers sported a red aura. When Brynhildr swung her flail about, they discovered that the Summoner had blessed the Zomnics with shields, making them even harder to kill.

"This is getting annoying." Valentine growled after getting through a shield and slicing the Zomnic in half.

"Guh, move!" Camilla yelled, with she and Quiet being forced to move from their perches, since the shields were impeding their one-hit kills.

Raiden and Ronin weaved their way through the Zomnics and jumped onto the platform where Theryassa is. Both attacked with a cross-slash, but her barrier prevented them from slicing her to pieces.

"Sorry boys, but I keep the best artifacts for myself." Theryassa taunted them, before unleashing laser-like flames from her hands, forcing them back.

"It won't help." Ronin replied, with Raiden going for the flaming orb near her.

"It's useless." Theryassa countered, firing a volley of flaming lasers at Raiden who blocked them with his blade. "As long as I am here, you will never defeat Junkenstein, nor Glynda."

"Let's fix that."

Out of nowhere, a trip of rockets crashed into the shield-granting orb. The latter exploded behind the unaware Summoner, knocking her to the ground below.

"Gah! Who dares?!" Theryassa snarled, looking up at her assailant.

"Me."

It was rugged, pale skinned man wearing a dark red jacket and pants. Hanging off his belt was a white mask with glow orange eyes, and he was wielding a rifle.

"The Soldier!" Theryassa spat out in disgust. "I thought I killed you!"

The Soldier smirked. "And you should pay attention to your surroundings…"

Theyassa's eyes widened, before she let out a gasp. She looked down, and saw a dart sticking out of her breast, courtesy of Bastet. Before she had a chance to even utter a word, a gust of wind interrupted her words before they left her mouth. Raiden had appeared behind Theyassa, his back turned towards hers as he sheathed his blade.

The moment his blade returned to its sheath, her throat grew a thin, red line. The red line spread around her neck, until the two tips touched each other. The moment it did, her head slid off, indicating her untimely demise.

"We got her." Soldier smirked. Due to the Soldier taking out the shield generator, her allies's protection was gone, and so was her. With her death, the barrier separating the defenders from Junkenstein vanished into particles.

"Uh-oh." Junkenstein squeaked as he came under fire from the defenders.

"Thank you." Raiden said gratefully, turning his attention to the Soldier. "Mister?"

"Just like old times, eh John?" Bastet called out to him. "Glad you decided to show after all."

The soldier grunted, before turning his attention to the Zomnics. He opened fire on the Zomnics from behind.

"Gah, they're all popping up like cockroaches! Why won't you all just just die?" Junkenstein yelled, hopping down and hobbling towards others, increasing his attacks with vigor despite the turrets targeting him.

"You first!" Mikistein snapped back, grabbing a remote from her jacket and pressing a big red button on it. Her turrets reconfigurated themselves, and it suddenly began to fire rockets at him.

"Oh nuts!" Junkenstein yelped, putting on the brakes. He fired on the rockets, exploding a few midair. The rockets that exploded redirected the others that avoided the shockwaves, making them explode on the ground around Junkenstein. "Wah!"

He danced around, avoiding the bridge breaking beneath him. He was so focused on getting to safety that he failed to notice his doom. Umbra took aim and fired at directly Junkenstein, filling him with holes. Raiden and Ronin leapt forward and slashed the doctor from behind, with Raiden spinning on his heel and slashed him in front. Junkestein barfed out blood, until Quiet and Camilla sniped him in the head. He fell onto the collapsing bridge, not before a newcomer zipped in and dropped a grenade on top of the now lifeless body.

"Special delivery!" The newcomer squealed, before zipping to the main doors.

One more explosion later, and Junkenstein was blown to pieces. All at once, the Zomnics froze in their tracks, and fell lifelessly to the ground.

"That was overkill." Blair mused as she landed on the ground.

"But it did the trick. Junkenstein and his allies are dead." Raiden stated, and turned to the newcomer. "Thanks-oof!"

The newcomer, a young girl with neon green skin and hair, tackled the armored shinobi to the ground, hugging him tight with an excited cheer.

"I'm so glad you're alright!" The newcomer squealed. "When you were engulfed in that explosion, I feared the worst!"

"Oy, Will'o! Get off of him!" Mikistein shrieked, leaping forward and pulling Will'o's cheeks. "It was your fault that-"

"Let it go." Blair ordered sternly, bonking Mikistein on the head. "It was also partially your fault for jumping into danger with her that forced Raiden to protect you. Besides," The sorceress poked the scientist on her boob. "You know you can't monopolize him to herself right?"

"...I know." Mikistein mumbled with a pouty face.

"It's fine. I'm sure the Elf Queen would like you very much!" Will'o said brightly. "All you have to do is ask, like I did."

"As much as I love hearing about your love lives, I don't think this is the time." Sombra interjected after reloading her gun. "Glynda is here somewhere, getting ready to ruin our night."

As if on cue, a bolt of lightning struck the area. It struck around the feet of the defenders, obliterating their defenses. The shields used for cover, the turrets that gunned down the Zomnics, and the flaming skeletons that acted as Blair's personal army- all destroyed in a split second.

John sighed. "You had to say it."

"Wouldn't have made a difference. But at least she came out of hiding." Hellsing mused, pointing ahead of them.

The Witch of the Wilds floated towards them, her dark aura radiating with power the closer she got to the heroes. Glynda let out a small chuckle, which seemed to echo in the chaotic night. Despite her dive into the dark arts, she was quite the beautiful woman. She has platinum blonde hair, green eyes, fair skin, and a shapely build. Her dark purple attire consisted of a dark-sleeve jacket and corset dress, thigh-high high-heeled boots, and a tome hanging from her belt.

"I have to say, I'm impressed." Glynda praised the heroes. "Even with my power empowering Junkenstein and his allies, you overcame the odds and have slain my minions."

Kurogiri scoffed. "Enough the cryptic talk, Glynda. You would never have bothered making a bargain with the likes of Junkenstein. The fact that you did means that you have a vested interest in Mikistein and her friends, right?"

"Correct, bartender." Glynda nodded. "While Junkenstein succeeded in creating life, his result was an abomination. Now you, Mikistein. You succeeded in actually bringing someone back from the dead-well, mostly intact." She gestured towards Raiden, who just glared at her. "Now that-that greatly pisques my curiosity."

"I lucked out on that bit! Also, I never tell you how I did it!" Mikistein snapped at her. "Trade secret of my own design!"

"No matter. I'll find out soon enough, after extracting the secrets from your corpse." Glynda stated, snapping her fingers. "My servants never die, Resurrection!"

Pillars of light sprung from where Junkenstein, his Monster, Reaper, and Theryassa fell. In a flash of bright, green light, the fallen bodies rose up like a puppeteer toying with their creations, their limbs moving in a strange and unnatural way as their bodies were put back together again. Much to their horror, the Zomnics were slowly being rebuilt, the lights returning into their lifeless eyes as they were reactivated. Not even waiting to be completely rebuilt, they continued their march towards their master's foes as metal and wires snaked back into their bodies.

"So that's how they came back." Valentine noted.

Camilla clicked her tongue. "How annoying."

"That's not fair!" Will'o complained.

"Thanks for the revive, Glynda-" Junkenstein began, but a cold look from the Witch shut him up.

"This is the last time." Glynda hissed. "Now all of you! Kill them!"

"Yes ma'am!" Junkenstein replied. "Let's get 'em!"

The Reaper laughed in glee before disappearing into the ground. The Monster roared and reared back, looking to bowl the defenders over. Theryassa only sighed and put down her Shield Generator.

"Everyone, let's put them down for good!" Mikistein declared, trying to psyche her allies up. "Please?"

Hellsing nodded. "Sounds like a good idea, missy!"

"No complaints here! Those things shouldn't exist anyway!" Bjørn agreed, preparing his mighty hammer.

Kurogiri gave him a sidelong look, his glowing eyes narrowed slightly. "I hope you meant under Junkenstein's control."

"Don't mind him." Brynhildr whispered with an apologetic look. "The Zomnics remind him of bad times."

"Speaking of the time, this isn't one for small chat!" Umbra barked, with Ronin and Quiet nodding in agreement.

"Attack-" Junkerstein shouted, when he was suddenly cut off.

"The Dragon hunts for its prey!"

An almighty roar filled the area. The next moment, two spectral blue dragons came through the wall. They destroyed the Zomnics in their paths as they flowed towards the Witch and her minions.

"Scatter!" Junkenstein yelled as he, Glynda, Reaper, and Theryassa moved away.

The Monster on the other hand charged at the defenders. He hurled his hook at Mikistein, but Ronin blocked it. Theryassa moved to assist, but had to evade as Quiet, Camilla, and Bastet zeroed in on her with her rifles. Umbra emptied a clip into the Monster, who roared in a defiance and downed a healing potion of its own. Bynhildr smashed her shield into the Monster, interrupting its healing.

"How useless." Glynda sighed and released a stream of healing magic upon the Monster.

"We need to take her out first!" Mikistein called out from behind her barrier.

"Not on my watch, missy!" Junkenstein laughed away as he fired his bombs.

"That's enough out of you!" Bjørn shouted, charging towards the mad scientist. "MOLTEN CORE!"

Bjørn draped himself in an aura of molten rock, and knocked the bombs away with his axe-hammer.

Junkenstein then ran for it after seeing John target him with his assault rifle. Letting out a growl, John unloaded every single bullet in the gun at the mad scientist, only to miss each shot as Junkenstein cackled with glee. Just then, he felt a shiver run down his spine when he felt Reaper's presence behind him. Without even looking, he dove to the side to avoid his shotgun blasts. Forcing to change his targets, he began to fire at Reaper, who also dodged his bullets with ease.

John was forced to keep dodging as Reaper pursued him, his shotgun blasts growing more and more closer to hitting him.

'I got you now!' Reaper grinned under his mask as his gun was aimed right at his old friend's chest.

BANG!

The Reaper roared as Hellsing threw a flash bang to his face. The bomb exploded, blinding the undead man as sharp ringing pierced his ears. Panicked, he began to fire everywhere, but despite his blind rage, he knew he had lost the moment Will'o zipped around him, emptying several clips into him.

"Urk!" The Reaper fell onto his knees, coughing up blood as his vision and hearing began to return far too late. His pain was quickly subsided when he felt the all-too-familiar soothing, and yet eerie presence fill his body. He looked up, and he realized that The Witch was healing him using her staff, its sickly-yellow stream of light pouring out of the tip as it wrapped around him.

CRASH!

The moment of comfort ended when Bastet disengaged from Theryassa to throw one of her potions at him. The glass shattered at his feet, causing the escaped gas to seep into Reaper's body.

"What?" Glynda gasped, seeing her healing stream get suddenly disconnected. Never in her life had she had her healing stopped by an opponent, not even in the midst of battle, where her foes would often fire at her and her enemies. Even when injured herself, she was still able to heal her minions with no trouble, but whatever Bastet did completely stopped her healing magic on Reaper!

The Reaper hissed in gain, clutching at his wounded chest as it continued to bleed. Clenching his teeth, he resisted the pain as he tried to escape into the ground, but suddenly fell over, feeling very disoriented.

"Gah!" Reaper roared, feeling himself weakening and unable to use his abilities.

"Reaper!" Glynda called out, before being forced to move when Zombina went after her.

"This time, stay dead." Blair said coldly, flying over Reaper. "Flaming Star Bang!" The witch cast out her fingers, causing a white orb with a crimson glow to materialize. The moment her spell made contact with Reaper, the orb exploded in a fiery tornado that incinerated him, leaving nothing behind but a smokey crate as proof that the man once existed.

"One down." Blair whispered with a grin.

"Damn you!" Glynda snarled, before stumbling as a feeling of weakness washed over her. She looked over to find a dark-violet orb hovering on her shoulder. "What? This magic is… Skullyatta?!"

"You're wide open!"

Valentine flung a series of syringes at the Witch, who raised her hand and erected barrier, letting them bounce off.

"Useless." Glynda sneered as the syringes fell to the ground.

Valentine smirked. "Are they?"

A shot passed next to Valentine's head and struck her syringes, causing them to explode into a cloud of smoke, enveloping the Witch. Valentine smirked, knowing it was Quiet who took the shot. Glynda cried out as sparks arced off her body, bringing her to her knees. She reached out for her broom staff, but Brynhildr knocked her into a wall with her mace.

"If you're going to take out the others, now's the time!" Brynhildr shouted as Glynda fell motionless to the ground.

"You'll find it won't be that easy," Theryassa snapped and fired several fireballs at her. "You will all perish!"

"You first!" Ronin countered, closing in on the Dragonborn. "The Dragon becomes me!"

Draped in a green, draconic aura, Ronin flanked the Summoner from the side. Theryassa gritted her teeth and erected a shield to defend herself. Ronin's sword embedded itself into the shield, causing it to crack.

"Like I said, it won't be eas-GURK?!"

Ronin's sword stabbed through a portal, and she realized with horror that the second one opened up behind her, allowing his sword to skewer her from behind. The Summoner's eyes widened as she choked, staring down at the sword protruding from her torso.

"You talk too much." Kurogiri mused.

"Thank you." Ronin replied, withdrawing his sword. "HA!"

With one swift stroke, Ronin beheaded the Summoner, her lifeless body collapsing to the ground. The body twitched once, before finally relaxing

"Two down." Ronin muttered, before jumping away.

"You'll pay!" Junkenstein shrieked, firing his launcher wildly. "My lovely Monster, forget the door and kill them all!"

Junkenstein's Monster roared, dislodging himself from the main doors. He then raised his hand to guard himself from the rapid-fire attacks from Umbra and Will'o. Getting frustrated, he raised his hand to unleash his hook, but arrows flew out of nowhere and pinned his arm to the wall.

The two ladies looked for the source of the arrows and found a man on the edge of the wall, wielding a bow and arrows. He had white paint with red markings on his skin, samurai-esque armor with red pants, and red gloves and boots.

"Unleash the storm!" He muttered, and fired several arrows in quick succession into the Monster's vital areas.

"Kabuki…brother." Ronin muttered, sparing him a glance.

Before the arrows could connect, the same dark orb that had weakened Glynda streaked over and attached itself to the Monster. The Monster groaned, its limbs going limp and the arrows lodging deep within its body.

"Say goodnight." John quipped, and unleashed a trio of missiles from his rifle.

The missiles exploded in the Monster's face. When the puff of smoke cleared, it revealed a grizzly sight. The Monster's skin and muscles were melted off, leaving behind a haunting image of a still breathing skull, who glared hatefully at them.

Kabuki then fired an arrow that scattered to several tiny arrows. The arrows lodged themselves into the joints of the Monster, preventing it from moving.

"By the gods-" Bjørn breathed.

"FINISH HIM OFF, YOU JIBBERING OAF!" Zombina shrieked.

Umbra groaned and snapped, "Calm down!"

The zombie girl and Demon Hunter opened fire on the wound, drilling holes in its open skull. A final shot from Bjørn melted its brain, magma leaking from the Monster's eye sockets and ears.

"No, my monster! You bastards!" Junkenstein yelled, yanking a ripcord from his backpack.

A horde of Rip-Tires entered the area, and zeroed in on the defenders.

"Take the ones on the right. I'll get the ones on the left." Camilla told Quiet, who nodded.

"And I have the ones in the middle!" Will'o declared and zipped around the broken bridge.

Camilla and Quiet sniped the Tires on the sides, with Will'o quickly gunned down the ones in the middle. Thanks to them, they harmlessly exploded far from the door. One Rip-Tire, however, got pass them, but it was destroyed by a glowing orb.

"Am I late to the festivities?"

A mechanical lifeform entered the area that was not a Zomnic. It has purple armor with an octopus motif, and a purple robes with a hood over its head.

"You came just in time, Master Skullyatta." Ronin said, bowing quickly after beheading a few Zomnics.

"Why?! Why won't you people just die?!" Junkenstein wailed, now firing wildly at random.

"Touche, asshole!" Mikistein snapped back, now donning a huge, powered glove. "You had your latest creation, now here's mine!"

Pressing a button, Mikistein was suddenly yanked forward, making her scream as she was jerked towards Junkenstein.

"You made a rocket arm?!" Junkenstein cried. "I wanted to do that-!"

He never finished his complaint when the huge metal fist connected to his face. The Zomnics who were in their way were blasted away as Mikistein and Junkenstein flew right through them. Finally, they slammed into a wall, with Junkenstein sandwiched between the wall and her metal fist.

"Kuh, damn you Mikistein!" Junkenstein spat out blood. "If I go for the last time, you're coming with me!"

He pulled another Ripcord and laughed maniacally. "Die, Mikistein!"

"You first."

As Mikistein freed herself, Raiden appeared and scooped her up. In that same motion, he sliced Junkenstein across the throat, making him choke on his own blood. The cyborg ninja sped away with Mikistein in his arm, avoiding the explosion that consumed Junkenstein.

With Junkenstein's death, the Zomnics collapsed to the ground for the last time.

"And then there was one…" Ronin said, pointing his sword at a still unconscious Witch.

"Heh, don't worry. I have special plans for her," answered Mikistein, smirking, "I always wanted to dabble into mind-control to reveal secrets."

"Are you sure leaving her alive is a good idea?" Hellsing asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Eh, I have my friends," Mikistein said, gesturing to Raiden, Blair, and Zombina. "We'll be just fine."

"You have us as well, you know." Kurogiri reminded her as he, Valentine, Quiet, and Umbra came up to them. "You will no doubt need help keeping her in check."

"I would like that very much." Mikistein said, smiling.

"Well then," John hoisted his rifle on his shoulder as the other heroes gathered around. "Shall we head on inside and receive our reward?"

"I second that." Brynhildr agreed.

"Well then," Will'o zipped over to Raiden and hugged his arm. "Let's get going!"

Mikistein fumed, but sighed, knowing that she couldn't claim Raiden all to herself. "Fine."

After Zombina hoisted a bound Glynda on her shoulder, the defenders headed into the castle to receive their reward.
