17. Thanks For The Memories

The days are over and the slate has been wiped clean.

Mistakes have been made and failures have been counted.

But now it's time to make something new.

I've been meaning to do this for a while, and now that it's a new year, this would be the best time.

I have decided to discontinue several old stories of mine for a number of reasons. I have discovered that I outgrew a lot of my old fandoms, became swamped with other things, and my mental health has taken a large hit.

I want to make this year a year of self-improvement and building myself back up. On FanFiction, I realize now that I shouldn't force myself to continue with a story that has no passion or if I'm not motivated. I wasn't writing for myself, but to please others and that mindset was destructive. I plan to change things for 2020, to write because I enjoy it and it makes me happy.
