Love In An Elevator

Wide golden eyes stared into piercing, disguised green as the man caught his breath and then her lips, while she stood stunned in the corner of the elevator. So soft and sweet, was the combined thought. The kiss was blissfully perfect and though it only lasted for a moment, it lasted for an eternity. When they awakened from their shared dream, his arms were cradling her comfortably into his embrace and hers were pulling him by his neck to her.

He pulled back and finally saw what he had seen so many times before, yet had not realized. "I love you, Kyoko Mogami. I love you more than you will ever know." He breathed out in a loving whisper.

The most heavenly smile graced the lips of the blushing starlet, and her eyes shimmered with unshed tears. He'd expected a slap, a kick, for her to push him away, but he did not expect the true result of his impulsive behavior. "I love you too, Corn."

"Y-You knew?" He sputtered out with nervousness and shame.

She snuggled into him, and nodded shyly. "You've kissed me before… Remember?" Yes, she remembered. How could she forget the taste of him, the feel of his lips on hers, his unique technique, his special scent? She may be naive and a bit oblivious, but she wasn't an idiot. Of course she would remember every detail of her true first kiss from her Fairy Prince, and no she wasn't offended or angry. She had been suspecting him since that night that Sho had accosted her and tried to annoy her again.

He chuckled nervously. "You're not mad at me?" He asked a little incredulously.

She shook her head. "Do you want me to be?" She murmured into his shirt, still blushing furiously.

"No! Of course not." He paused, then lifted her face to meet his. "Why were you running from me?"

She leaned her cheek into his hand, and pouted, reminding him of Setsuka. She sighed. "I was being stupid." She grumbled.

He leaned to get a better look at her turned away face. "About Kusunoki-san?… I can explain that situation." He corrected quickly.

She shook her head and sighed again. "No…I… I thought you liked Kimiko Morizumi." She finally confessed.

He gave her a startled look. "Why her? What would make you think something like that?" He turned her face gently to look into her eyes once more.

She pursed her lips and pouted once again. "She fits…"

"She fits? Fits what?" He asked confused.

She groaned a little and he definitely thought it was insanely cute. "I'm Boh… Th-The chicken, Boh." She explained quietly.

He hugged her tightly and laughed. "And I told you I was in love with a high school girl." He chuckled.

She nodded quietly. "That and you gave her a promise ring." She added.

He frowned a little. Kimiko Morizumi was like a mold or fungus, he kept finding little things in his life no matter how small, that the girl kept trying to drag him into. Kind of like no matter how much you clean, there is always a little bit left behind… Kind of like Sho was for her. He sighed. "I never gave her a promise ring, Kyoko-chan. It was a ring her character used during filming and I told her to see it as a good luck charm for her scenes. If she still has the ring… I guess her uncle or her brother let her keep it." He explained.

"Really?" She asked in a small voice.

He nodded. "Really, Boh." He smiled.

So preoccupied, she certainly never noticed that Kuon had pressed the emergency stop button during their kiss, and now they were being notified by maintenance that they would have them out of the elevator shortly. They definitely had not noticed that both of their phones had been ringing furiously for the past ten minutes. All they noticed is that they both wanted to indulge in that sweet little kiss again, and another, and another, and another… Until the doors opened to a furious manager, a stunned maintenance worker, and maybe a few of Kyoko's co-workers.
