I know these chapters are long over do for this story, but you seen the latest chapters. And in mummy version the M10 and the crew are going to be dealing with the mummy, but I took the liberty to have Steven's bloodline in this.
Spoiler alter Steven is the first and only male in the Diamonds bloodline, which goes back as far as Egypt, to the Roman empire, to the British empire and Pink being in the American revolution. but more details on that later right now the two out of three Diamonds.
After defeating the former boar God turned demon, and solving the clues to conspirators of the confederacy, they head to Louisiana. Ashitaka decided to take a detour on the way home. Ashitaka, and San rode on Yakul, Steven on Lion and the rest rode in the wagon Connie's wagon. As the continue, Star asks about the trip: "Say Ashitaka, why are we in Louisiana?" Ashitaka answers: "I heard woman wanted to meet us. Her name is Blue Diamond." Everyone minus San were shocked to hear the name.
Marco does his up, down, left, and right and says fearfully: "Dios mio. I heard about Blue Diamond. They say she's a cannibal." Star adds from hearing rumors: "They say she's the meanest, ugliest, powerful voodoo witch in all of the bayou of Louisiana." Steven adds: "She's four hundred years old." Mabel says putting all the rumors together: "She's a four hundred year old, voodoo witch who eats people?" Ashitaka answers: "The spirits and God works in mysterious ways." Jean, Dipper, and Connie disbelieve in the rumors, despite what they encountered. Connie says: "Come on. You can't believe every rumor you guys hear." Dipper agrees with Connie: "Yeah, she right. Sure we faced our share pf crazy things, but I'm sure there's a logical explanation for all of this." Jean agrees with the two other voices of reason: "Dipper and Connie are right. I'm sure once we meet her, all the rumors will be a logical explanation for all the rumors." Nadia says in fear: "I hope to God, you're right."
As they rode on the road to Blue Diamond's home, the seeing skeletons being hung and they are dressed up, there's a pirate, a union and confederate soldiers and some random thief. Marie holds onto Nadia who holds her tightly, also in fear.
At the end of the road, is a gate with 5 guards armed with rifles who are also muscular women wearing uniforms and cowboy hats. The leader of the group is different than the others, she wore no hat and has lavender hair styled into two pointed side buns, she walks up to the M10. Ashitak says to the captain of the guard: "We're the Magnificent 10. Your employer send for us." The captain turns to the other guards and simply says: "The Magnificent 10." The guards step out of the way and unlock the gate. Ashitake compliments the captain of the guard: "Thank you miss...?" The woman answers: "Agate. Holy Blue Agate." Before they could continue she stops them and says: "I'm afraid you pets must stay out here." They were shocked and confused at what she said. "Believe me, they be much safer here." So the young heroes dismount their riding animals and wagon, leaving Yakul, Lion, Waddles, and King outside.
As they continued on foot, they entered and see a large 3 story mansion. Mabel says in amazement: "Whoa! She lives in a mansion this tall?" Dipper tugs his sister's sweater, she turns and then everyone turns to see a large pen filled with over 30 alligators, out of the pen are 5 alligators with collars around their necks, and a chain attached to them, and are being walked by the guards. Marie holds on tightly to Nadia and San now, in fear.
Dipper gulps in fear: "So uh... What's gonna happen to us, if BD just wants to kill us?" Then a free alligator with a collar snarls at the young heroes, who exclaimed and jump back in fear.
Then a young woman with pale skin wearing a southern dress who's name is ironically Pearl, because to Steven she looks like Pearl the only difference was she has her hair covering her eyes but she can still see. She walks up to the young group of heroes, and spoke softly as if she was whispering: "Magnificent 10, Blue Diamond the queen of the bayou will receive you now. Please follow me." As they follow the soft speaking woman, into the mansion they enter a hallway, on the walls are portraits and statues of what looks like Blue Diamond's ancestors. And though many looked alike some had short hair, some had long hair, many wore duchess and other clothing and jewelry suited for nobility. Star says in admiring the family history: "I gotta says; Blue Diamond comes from huge family. And I thought my family was big." Ashitaka and the others agrees with Star as they stare at Medieval armor with weapons in their hands originated in Irish and Scottish cultures. Each armor has the family crest on it, a a large triangular diamond with four inner diamonds in them, white on top, blue on the left, yellow on the right, and pink on the bottom.
In the ball room was big enough to host a ball parties. They turn around and see Blue Diamond walking up to her throne balcony where she can watch the ball room. Blue Diamond is a beautiful dark skinned woman with long straight hair in her late twenties early thirties wearing a blue silk rob, with Pearl standing on her left side.
Ashitaka kneels down bowing in respect to the queen of the bayou. The rest of the Magnificent 10 follows even Marie. Nadia whispers to Star: "I thought you said she was old and ugly." Star whispery replies: "Iks-nay ugky-nay."
Pearl says to Blue Diamond: "Your majesty, the Magnificent 10." Blue Diamond speaks in an Irish accent: "You kneel to show respect. And for that I thank you. Now rise." They stand up and Steven says being nice: "Well it's an honor to meet you in person ms. Blue Diamond, we heard rumors about you." Mabel adds: "Yeah, we heard you were a 400 year old voodoo witch who eats people." Dipper, Steven, Connie, Marco, Star, Jean and Nadia shuts Mabel's mouth to keep her from talking. They turn to Blue Diamond who has a stern face, they fearing what she'll do to them. Kill them and feed them to her alligators or she'll use her voodoo magic to turn them into rats.
Instead of any of those, her stern face turns into a smile and she begins to laugh at what Mabel said which confused look the young heroes. Blue Diamond says trying to stop her laughter: "That's what people say about me? I know a few voodoo tricks, even voodoo dolls, but nothing like turn people into animals or some nonsense. Plus, I'm only 28 years old. I hardly count as 400 years old. Also I don't eat people, I eat alligators."
The Magnificent 10 and even Marie all say together in relief: "Oooh!" Dipper says: "Phew, that's a load of my mind."
Blue Diamond stands up from her throne and says: "Do you wish a tour around my mansion?" San says getting to the point: "Maybe. But before we do, why did you contacted us?" Blue Diamond answers: "Well, I've heard a great deal about you, and wanted to meet you. But you're not exactly what I expected." Steven says being reasonable: "It's ok." Mabel adds: "We get that a lot." Star also adds: "Yeah we've heard them all." Blue Diamond says to her guest: "Now please follow me, down this hallway." Ashitaka bows and replies: "We'd be honored."
The M10 follows Blue Diamond leading them down another hallway, showing more armor and family portraits, of her other relatives. Blue Diamond explains about her ancestry: "As you can see these are my predecessors, my family tree." They many pantings of women but no men. No father, uncles, brothers, or male cousins. Nadia notice all this and asks: "You have women ancestors but where are the men of the family? You know fathers or brothers." Blue Diamond answers: "You see, we Diamonds could only give birth to females. So we couldn't produce male heirs, so we made up a female heir-line. As for the males, we only needed them for us to bare children, so there's no full recored of any of my father or grandfather." Marie also asks Blue Diamond: "Uh, ms. Blue Diamond are you really the queen of the Bayou or that's just a title?" The African Irish woman still amused by the question of what people say about her so she answers: "No little one. I'm no queen of the Bayou. However I am descendent of Nobility. But it you want to meet the true queen of the Bayou, I'll show you." She continues to lead them.
In a particular room, that looks like a large alligator pen, only it's huge. San kneels down and is about to put her hand in the water, but the Noble woman stops her: "I wouldn't put your hand in the water." Then coming up to the surface of the water is an alligator, only it's twice the size as big as normal alligator, to the young heroes surprise to see it.
Jean says in amazement: "Oh my goodness! I never seen an alligator this big before!" Dipper says in agreement with Jean: "I'll say. I didn't think nature would allow an alligator to get as big as this." Mabel questions: "Really? You said same thinh about Octavia the multiple legged cow?" Before Dipper could reply Blue Diamond, opens the pen gate stepping into the gator's pen then closes the gate. Blue Diamond walks up to it, then kneels down next to the giant alligator and says to the large reptile: "Hello Mona. Who's my faithful old friend?" The gator snuggles up Blue Diamond's lap, which shocks everyone of what they're seeing. Ashitaka says in a surprised tone: "By the spirits. I thought a alligator would attack anyone." Then two servants carrying a prime-rare-steer carcass and huge bunch of bananas. Blue Diamond says: "Everyone meet Big Mona. The true queen of the bayou."
The Noble woman stands up, walks out of the pen and the two servants tosses the carcass in the pen and Big Mona eats it. Blue Diamond asks the alligator: "I hope you saved room for dessert." She then takes a banana and holds it out, and the large alligator, at first the Magnificent 10 and Marie wouldn't believe it would eat it, but the gator does eat it.
They were even more surprised they had no words to express on how shocked they are. But Jean finds some words: "I don't believe this! An alligator eating a banana?!" The noble woman turns to the young French inventor and says giggling: "Oh, she loves bananas. She has a sweet tooth for these." Blue Diamond continues to feed bananas to Big Mona. Ashitaka asks in realization: "I guess even predators can like a sweet treat." San asks Blue Diamond referring to Big Mona: "So, is it through this combination of food she had this incredible size?" Blue Diamond didn't answer with words but gave a hand sign so-so. Marco asks: "What is that a so-so? So you so-so believe raw steer meat and bananas are what made her this huge? That makes perfect sense." He said sarcastically at the end of his sentence.
Nadia remembering the normal alligator in a large pen outside and asks: "Say you have Big Mona here, and it's obvious she's your animal companion. But what about the ones in the large pen outside?" Blue Diamond answers: "We cook and eat them." They keep getting more shocked with Blue Diamond's words. "You see we use alligators for three reasons; as pets, guard dogs and livestock." While Nadia angrily glares at Blue Diamond, the others are alright with Blue Diamond's way of living. In fact she offers them a dish of cooked alligator meat. Nadia chooses not to eat it for being a vegetarian, the rest try the cooked meat, they find it to taste like chicken.
Steven remembering the family crest, as he finishes eating his gator meat and asks: "Say Blue Diamond uh...we a lot of the Blue Diamonds of the family, but from the family crest, there must be others." The rest of the M10 realizes this too. Connie says in agreement with Steven: "Steven's right. Surely you must have more relatives."
Blue Diamond answers: "Why yes, I do. Big Mona, I'm going to show our guests the rest of the family tree. Go along and swim in the Bayou." So Big Mona turns back into the pen's water, she swims into a tunnel, they look and wonder where it leads, Blue shows on a balcony that the tunnel leads into the bayou water.
Then the duchess leads the young heroes to another room filled with more portraits and statues of the other members of her family. Some looked were dressed and looked white as pure starlight another was yellow as gold and the third ones were pink, like a rose peddle.
Many of the Diamond, dressed either similar or different. The Blues wore in many cloths suited for duchess and other high society. The Yellows wore more than duchess cloths, many wore military uniforms and armor, symbolizing they're being conquerors. The White worse black and white robs with stars on them. The last ones are the Pinks, while some also wore duchess cloths and a few wore uniforms and armor, as well as being rebellious.
The Magnificent 10 were shocked to see the to see all these Diamonds, and this is just a scratch of the family lineage, this only goes back 40 generations. Steven says in amazement: "Wow! You have a lot of Diamonds." Blue Diamond replies dryly: "Oh, this is nothing, this is just a scratch how far back it goes. It goes from the French and Indian war back to 414. If you want to see the whole bloodline and origin, it's in the Diamond's family home in London. It has the full family records, even portraits of battlefields our family's been it."
Ashitaka notice only three out of four current generation of the Diamonds, and asks: "Ms. Blue Diamond why is there only three Diamonds now? Where's the fourth?" Blue began to sob after hearing about the fourth member, she tries to hold it in, she then takes a deep breath and answer as best as she could: "You see Yellow is my sister and White is our mother, but we lost one bloodline of ours. You see it was during the American Revolution, Pink Diamond the 14th stayed in the American colonies, after the war we lost connections with her somehow. It's a sad story, behind Pink Diamond the fourteenth." She started to cry again, Steven started to tear up too and he didn't know why. Star put her hand on Blue shoulder and says in sympathy: "Blue, we know what you're going through. So how did she die?" The Duchess answers: "She didn't die. We lost all ties with her and her descendants. But I still believe Pink's descendants still live." She said placing her hand on the last painting of Pink Diamond the fourteenth, San asks: "How do you know?" Blue Diamond answers: "You think the American Revolution is the only war we've been in? Our family are many things including warriors, and many people through the ages learned one thing of us; 'the Diamond's bloodline wouldn't be easily broken'."
Ashitaka asks Blue Diamond: "Ms. Blue Diamond we're sorry. But where could the rest of your family be?" The duchess answers: "It's hard to say exactly. We do have more relatives and kin, but they're scattered to the four winds. I do know White is at our home in London. And Yellow's in North Dakota." Jean asks: "So you live in America? As if you were born here?" Blue Diamond replies: "No, I was born in Ireland and Yellow was born in Romania, and White was born in England. We have summer homes like this in both America and Europe, and it's island and territories." They were shocked to hear this is just a summer home. "Why do you asks?" Connie answers: "We just want to see her. After all there could be records? Records that could lead to Pink's history." Blue Diamond says in agreement: "Yes, despite being the warrior member of the family, she does have historical records but when it's about Pink Diamond the 14th she goes numb. But I'll do my best." Steven says to Blue Diamond: "Thank you Blue."
So Blue Diamond gives the Magnificent 10 a map leading to Yellow Diamond's summer home in North Dakota. So they leave Blue Diamond's home and mount on their riding animals and wagon, heading for North Dakota.
