p class="MsoNormal""What are you reading now?" Jesse asked in a complaining tone as he walked in the door. He was always a bit grumpy on the days she had off that he had to work./p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"The Hunger Games, I've heard so many people talk about it I figured I'd give it a try."/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"I've actually heard of that one." Jesse seemed a bit surprised; despite the time he came from, he'd never been much of a reader of books. Suddenly hesitant he added, "I've heard they're rather violent."/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"Yeah, well so is life." Winnie pointed out, not really bothered by the fact./p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"Does the violence make it interesting?"/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanWinnie shrugged. "It depends on if you like reading about that sort of thing. I don't know that these are really the style that I prefer to read. The concept is interesting enough. But the execution is not really the way that I find myself eager to read."/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanJesse sat on the couch next to her and took the book from her hands to stare at it. "Catching Fire." He read. "Isn't this the second book?"/p
p class="MsoNormal" style="tab-stops: .5in 183.75pt;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanWinnie style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"If you're not really enjoying it why are you reading the second book?"/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"You haven't found me any new classics to read." She teased grinning impishly./p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"If they're new they can't be classics." Jesse responded with an eyeroll./p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"I know." Her grin was all happiness now. She leaned and gave his cheek a quick peck. "You're a good sport to have bought so many of the classics to read."/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"I'm glad I'm useful for something." Jesse muttered./p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanWinnie rolled her eyes and patted his cheek. "You know I love you."/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"Duh. You have to. We're stuck together forever."/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"I wouldn't want it any other way." She grabbed his chin and pulled him close for a kiss, on the lips this time./p
