The countries of Aries, Artai, Windbloom, and Zipang live an easy peace. Shizuru serves as an overworked knight in Artai's military and returns home, expecting to relax. Instead, she finds work thrown on her once again and this time she's thrown to the mercy of wolves living in the vast forest to the south. She is charged with making peace with them, or die trying.

16. An Announcement From Me

Hello fellow ShizNat and Mai Series fans!

I know this fanfiction story has been quiet for some time, filled with promises that it won't be dropped and it will eventually return. Fanfiction writing is surely a difficult commitment with very little incentives to keep going, other than personal time and motivation. Things in my life have been going pretty crazy, mostly in a good way. I changed degrees to something I enjoy. I've managed to find a good full-time job and my partner and I will be purchasing a home in a few months. Exciting stuff.

BUT I am pleased to say that I am now starting to give "Wolf's Heart" some major and much needed tender love and care! There will still unfortunately be no updates for quite some time, but I will be revising the story heavily through these upcoming months. It's nice to see my writing progress through these chapters, but I would like you guys to please let me know if you'd prefer me to place these revisions in an entirely new story or to just update over these existing chapters.

Thank you so, so much to the people recently who have followed the story, left comments, and showed me there's still some hardcore ShizNat fans out there! In the meantime, I'd love to invite y'all to follow me on Twitter ( iaminarra) if you want shitposts and occasional updates on writing.
