So it's really been a year and a half since-

Thank you. There's not much of an excuse really, I just burnt out. I stretched out this story for three years before sun and moon, while in college and writing several other stories at once. The mistakes I made were not separating my stories from the necessities of a college workload; writing several stories at once (it was six at one point); and specifically for this story, putting Red/Green/Blue without having read any sort of manga or fully understanding their popularity and impact. I let you down, and myself, saying sorry won't really fix much.

I still like Pokémon, I just don't think I'm really meant to write a story like this with all the twists and turns I was imagining. I still want to end this story with a summary of what I wanted to happen. Might be a gigantic letdown, but I'd feel worse if I just cancelled it and let whoever might still be interested wonder forever what would have happened.

Summary:

First, the league was supposed to get to at least Max and Ash making it into the semi finals in Hoenn with Ritchie who surprised them by showing up to the preliminaries. Max and Ash. Then the entire event was interrupted by Giovanni and Team Rocket who start attacking people, taking their Pokémon and destroying the arena.

After that, there's mass panic and confusion as people are running around everywhere, the kids are rushed to safety, but the older teens want to fight. Rika, my OC, shows up and says she was told to hide and hasn't seen Timmy, other OC, since the arena was attacked

Petalburg woods is set on fire and Ash leaves Norman's gym to help fight. Timmy and his Venusaur don't make it and Wally shows up to fight, but his lungs are contaminated with smoke and Ash has to carry him out. Wally tells everyone that Team Galactic and Team Flare joined forces with the Rockets, but Archie and Maxie refused to go along with their schemes, having had a complete change of attitude since their plans were thwarted. Jessie has been trying to avoid James, but is ordered to attack Petalburg gym. James manages to get her back to his side and promises to take her to Kanto.

Ash and his friends decide to launch an attack on Team Rocket Headquarters with the help of Jessie and James. Giovanni had kidnapped Lusamine and Lillie, wanting the Ultra Wormholes opened again, but both refused and he separated them. Lillie escaped and freed several prisoners. They met up with Ash and his friends, two prisoners revealing themselves as Blue and Green, Gary's parents.

They sent a message out to Red and kept fighting. Teams Magma and Aqua drove the other evil teams out of Hoenn and remained to protect it. Giovanni was defeated after a long battle in which he had recklessly taken on multiple trainers at the same time.

The legendary beasts of Johto purified the region and assisted Lugia and Ho-oh in keeping evil away from their home. The legends mysteriously disappeared, but a rainbow stretching over Johto gave the people hope and the will to keep fighting.

Red appeared at the base of Mt. Coronet where he was told to meet Ash. Ash explained what Dialga showed him and together they scaled the mountain to summon the time and space duo. Red revealed that he had means to summon Arceus and they decided to summon all three.

Sending out their apologies to the Great Ones of Olden Sineow as it used to be called, the Ketchums were forgiven. Arceus put an end to the nonsensical fighting, erasing Team Flare's memory of ever being there.

Red decided to visit Delia while Ash was headed to help fix the regions with his friends.

That's all I can really think of, sorry. I guess it was an ending, sort of. Not a satisfactory and far from what I originally wanted as an ending to this story. I just couldn't do it. Hopefully I can end my other stories well. Thank you for reading.
